My First Sims 3 House
This is my first entry for my first ever blog. I just decided to try it out as I've got nothing better to do and I think writing would also help me to relieve stress from the daily battle of what we all call "LIFE".
Anyhow, off to what i'm writing about.
I am about to finish my first house for TSR using objects from TSR Feature Artist. I really wanted and dying to make Sims object but the sad part is, TSR software is only available for Windows and they don't have one made for MAC. So all I can do are borrow objects from TSR's amazing artist.
Here is the front view of what my house looks like. It's not completely furnished inside as of yet so all I can share for now if the front view.
I just hope people in the The Sims world will like it. I love to build houses, designing and also landscaping but since I am far too off from that field, i just content myself with the virtual world. Thanks to the developers and all those who are behind this game, that I get to live and fulfill my dreams.

SIM Domination
The Sims really does help to enrich lives and everything that can be downloaded from this site just helps add to the amazingness that is sims, to be honest i can't imgaine playing another game that would be as fulfilling as this. What i really love about this game is that for the while that you play it you can be someone else, leave all your troubles behind you and ficus on you "sim life" - sounds sad perhaps - but perfectly tru, i suppose for some people a getaway mey be writing novels, art, music but for me its just sims.
I think i've spent the best part of my teenage life playing the game whether its on a playstation or a pc, sims 1,2 or sims 3 (gee that rhymed) and if i've got a few hours to spare there is honestly nothing i'd prefer to do.
So this summer i;ve decided to add to my imagination and anyone else who might happen see my items, this year i will be posting lots, objects and households in the hope that people who download them may find that they DO add to there imagination and they DO enrich the lives of there sims.

Sneak Peek - Luxury Clothes Shop
I thought it was about time for me to start posting something in my TSR blog and let you all know what I'm doing...
First thing first, I'm currently working on a new world for my Sims. My main objective is to create a "British" style map divided into 3 different livable zones... A city, a village and a beach resort...
I already have a couple of buildings ready as well as some parks (I'll need to take a couple of screenshots and post them on TSR, but can't be bother loading the game right now).
As part of my city center, I wanted to create a couple of shops to give more realism and fun to the town. The first shop I decided to work on is a "Luxury Clothes Shop"... I started this set with a couple of shop's dummies...
This picture shows you my first attempt at making the dummies... I'm still not too happy about the base and the texture difference between the male and the female models, so I guess I won't post them straight away, while I'm still working to improve this issue...
Also, I'm not too sure where to take this next... Don't know whether I should carrying on doing more dummies (especially some kids ones) or if I should concentrate on doing some more decorations for the shop itself (bags, shoes, boxes, etc...)
Anyway... If you have any suggestions or ideas regarding this "Luxury Clothes Shop" set, please feel free to leave me a comment or send me a PM... I'd love to hear from you guys!!!
Also if anyone could give me some tips with regards to the texture color, and why it's not the same on both objects, that would be a fantastic help... I'm still searching around on the web, but can't find anything about this. I thought it might be related to the grey used on my multiplier, but even after making sure that both objects had the exact same grey it still looked kind of wrong.

Update On The Things Over In NZ...
Hey All,
As you may have noticed i have started to upload new houses, these houses will keep on coming, but not as reguarly as they used to as i have very little free time anymore because of the Earthquake, i start school at 1pm and get home at 6pm as we are sharing schools with another school as ours is badly damaged. Unfortunately this means in the morning i have no free time as i have to do homework, and in the evenings i may have a bit, but not much.
As i said, i will be uploading more houses, so keep an eye out for them. And can i just say Thanks SO MUCH, for all of your feedback and comments its amazing to see people liking my houses and storys and everything else. With 268 comments i couldnt be happier, so thanks so much and keep commenting, it means the world to me.
Also thanks to all of you that have bookmarked me, i now am near to 100 and i really appreciate that. So thanks a heap!
There is so much more i want to say but i want to keep it brief, Thanks to all my fans and people downloading my items with currently 268 Comments, over 125000 Downloads i am estatic, and i hope u keep downloading my items.

One quadro update XD
I'm totally thankfull to people who bookmarked me as an artist, it really nice and very supportive. Thank you guys\girls. *sry idk how to view the list of those who bookmarked me ^_^* So this is the second post, sry that i wasn't updating this blog for so long, but i have to work and i have to study *so i could create more realistic houses, and not that crap i already made XD*. So meet 4 houses created for a Billioneers Hill quadrant in Yokio City's South Prefecture. Two of them are the key buildings, which i will show also next time when i'll finish deco, and two of them has only starting interior *white walls and floors XD*. SI hope you'll like'em, or at least try ^_^

Villa "Cherry"
Rather small Villa "Cherry" can offer your sim dynasty comfort living enviroment for a family of 5. The yard or i should say the frontal garden has a mini-maze made of shrubs-fence, you can try to solve it if want to. The house itself consist of two floors, each contains 4 rooms, 8 in total. There is no interior design 'cuz it's not a key house of my sim's city. So don't ask me to create one. Later there will be some more houses, which are key houses, and they have interior, so i'll show you them. The idea of this house was got from 4 houses situated in Germany, England and USA, so it could be recognized in some houses, but idk what were that houses, the photo files haven't got any names. There is only one difficulty: you couldn't change number and size of the rooms, because(SIC!!!) the first floor has a height of 1.1\3 of normal height of the floor. Nevertheless the doors and windows works fine, simmies can get into\out the rooms.
Castello "Catalan"
This spanish castle was recreated in sims world, in fact it's a real building, but due to lack of normal photos, some parts of it could be changed and not exact. But in fact my aim was not to copy whole building, but try to undestand how to create a normal, real castle. It was build in classical catalan style, but later it was redesigned to meet new engeneering and living standarts, so right now it looks like it was build nowadays. Also this is the key house, so it will have full-interior design later.
Castello "Mare"
This is also not exact replica of a real house *Castello Miramare is a protorype of this building, it's smaller, and hasn't got some parts of this house*, the aim was also not to duplicate the castle to the sims world, but try to understand how to create a real castle. What should it look like, what exterior features should be used and so on. In game it's a key building, and will have an interior design which will be created for a key family of 7. In fact ths building have more than 20 rooms, including a throne room, library, cold-room *for wine and stuff*, the church-related room, and some other special rooms. Also first floor has two guest bedrooms, the 2nd and 3rd floors have 8 bedrooms in total, each pair have one spacious bathroom. The building inside has all the futures of an old castle: tiny corridors and tiny stairs XD, back doors and some other specials. As you can see the house was totally renowated: the windows are large, the roof was totally rebuilt, there is a tennis court *non-playble deco*, and the lake was changed into pool. The only one things which remains since medieval times are the doors on the walls of roof-rooms, which give the entrance to walls-passage.
Villa "Colonial"
This villa is exact replica of a real building *at least on 80% XD*. This building was created in colonial style, it has all the futures to become an estate for family of 5 and some servants XD. The house itself consist of two wings and central house. The left wing has all the service rooms you need *kitchen, library, small dining room, servant's bedroom and bath*, the central house has only the hall, and 2nd floor-hall, the right wing has a ball room. Bedrooms are situated on 2nd floor to the right and left from 2nd floor-hall. The front garden provide rather huge maze *and rather difficult for a human, not for a sim*, it has a littlle construction in the centre of it which you can use as a hideout for lovers, or secret talks ]:-> XD. The back garden has a lot of space to create a pool, or nice garden or water you want. Also it has tennis court *non-playable deco*.

Upcoming Submission News, May 9th, 2011
I mentioned something in my blog at my Isle of Aaru site that I would have a couple of new lots up by now, but due to some custom content packaging issues with those lots, I am slightly delayed and will be working on a fix sometime this week (after I get back from a business trip on Thursday, most likely). In the meantime, at least the new junkyard has been submitted to TSR and is pending publication. More laterz!

Where was I?
I should return to the creating world soon. I finished my "perfect" runthrough of Dragon Age 2 and have my post campaign file all ready for the next sucky installment. Well, I hope the next isn't sucky, if there is a next. I didn't like this one, nuff said, moving on.
So I gutted my game in preparation for the next EP. I had no idea where I was anyway. I'm starting to put my CC back bit by bit. I'll be back here downloading some things again I'm sure. I always think I have backups of everything, but some things still slip through the cracks.
Once I put DA2 back on the shelf I tried out Sims Medieval. I wasted money on it so I figured I might as well at least give it a try. I can say I gave it a good shot. It took me three tries to force myself to finish the tutorial. OMG... boring. It didn't get much better after that. I played long enough to be well-loved by all, built a church and tavern. What a nice combo, eh? Beat up the jester, after I fired him, to get rid of a negative blood thirsty moodlet. He deserved it. He was a jerk. I guess the game was somewhat amusing. I just don't get why they went backwards in gameplay. Why the dollhouse view? Why no aging? Why does everything take incredibly long to do? And giving us the fast forward button isn't a solution. It still takes too long and it's boring. Maybe I'm too hard core RPG. I mean, I don't want that much help when I play a game. I want to be left alone and do what I want to do and figure stuff out on my own. I don't want every waking moment dictated, pointed at, and nagged. And you can botch picking wildflowers. Seriously? Picking flowers? A fail? What, now they're taking note of Blizzard's past ignorant ideas? If you were in herbalism in World of Warcraft you used to fail at "harvesting the herb". All you did was bend over, no, they don't even bend over, and pick the flower. Pick... a... flower. FAIL. What? How did I miss the flower? Am I blind? The flower is right here at my feet, disproportionately large to everything else, and it's the only thing I get the icon to click on in 10 miles. How did I miss it? How can I not pick it? How did I fail? Good Lord. Thankfully Blizzard did away with that ignorant feature but it seems EA missed it or something so they put it in their game. It was so needed. Truly. We all need to be put in our place, humbled, by the mere failure to pick flowers correctly. The Watcher says so. Whatever. And WHAT is with the "wax on, wax off" praying? Is my monarch a friggin' mime? Actually, the game was more fun when I just gave up and let my sim sit around drinking ale and reading bad novels. I love, not really, the "collect some wood, get some stone, and kill a bear" quests, but don't let anyone see you. Poof! My sim goes to his little secret place to do the deed. Wow. When was chopping wood and mining stone a top secret government notion? And I can watch my sim duel some stupid bandit for 20 minutes but I can't see him poke at a bear? If I'm The Watcher, shouldn't I be WATCHING something? Oh, I am, my sim is over there, playing in the bushes, for hours. Right. I'll just um... go make myself some supper and come back later. I just want a medieval neighborhood for my sims. Where everything is medieval and themed. The clothes and chivalry and radial menu choices are all quite quaint. Some of the female hairstyles are quite nice as well.
Alas, it was a depressing weekend of bad games. I'm back to Sims 3 and working on getting my hoods going again. Freedom.
New Poll! Downloader Preferences

Just a quick update to tell you about my new poll that I've posted. It's just a couple of questions about color and style that, in the furutre, will help point me in the right direction as to what kind of things you all like to download. Right now I generally base everything on my own musings, or that of what is suggested to me. Hopefully the results of this poll can get me more geared towards creating what you like! So, please, if you haven't already, go answer it!

Also note, the results of this poll aren't going to be conclusive for the rest of time. If the favored color is red, that does not mean that everything I create from now is going to be red. Everything will utilmately be based off of my discretion - but I will definately still keep in mind the preferences that you've told me!

Aurora Build items Collection
Just finished uploading my earlier "work on progress" to TSR. Aurora Build items Collection includes 2 half columns, 1 column, 2 fences, 1 railing and 6 walltemplates. Hopefully it will be out by Monday. It took me longer than I thought to finish, as every time I got something pretty much finished, I realised something needed fixing, over and over again. Im still not 100 % happy with the textures, but there comes a time when I have to let them go... and boy ain't I happy I am done with these! I had some fun trying to build a house with them ingame, and I managed to achieve the look I was going for, so I am rather happy with them. I'm looking forward to see what other simmers think of them, it is after all my first ever meshing project :) Happy Simming and building!

I missed this place. I plan on creating houses some more, when I have enough time... but time seems to be what I lack right now. haha. Looking forward to playing Sims 3 again after SO SO long! :D

Trust me, I'd much rather be on here, but I've got important university exams coming up that don't end until the 23rd, and I have to pass, so I'm concentrating on those for a while!!
I may still find time to upload, I'm not sure, but it definitely won't be on a regular basis until these exams are over!
I'll still be writing the next chapters of my story, Bridgeport or Bust, (you can read the first chapter here, and the second here) so when I'm done stressing I can relax and enjoy taking all the screenshots!

I remember one time in my life when I was scolded--frequently--for being a poor multitasker. I was told that it was a skill that I'd need to get ahead in the workforce. I was told that it was a sign of an intelligent mind.
Now it seems like a curse. I literally can't concentrate on any one project--I'm usually up to my knees in at least two, and usually unhappy unless I'm over my head in a third. My unfinished project file is a fire hazard. My half-baked concepts litter the landscape. I have a notebook stuffed with floor plans for sim houses, fewer of half of which were completed, and fewer than half of those were worth uploading. And worst of all, due to this frame of mind, the only solution I can conceive of is to write yet more stories that are probably wholly unnecessary, take more screenshots to balloon out my folder, which is rapidly approaching 6000 photos, begin more projects in Workshop, over half of which I won't finish for one reason or another, start more building projects that are destined to be abandoned and eventually bulldozed.
What the hell is wrong with me?
Griping won't fix it. But how do I un-learn something that was hammered into me and that is still considered a desirable trait? Even as we see the very real consquences of multitasking, the errors made, the accidents caused, the productivity lost, the stress induced?
A while ago I'd have joked that I'd write a story about it. That joke just doesn't seem very funny today.

Please! I need to know. The game's graphics are simply gorgeous. I have the game but all I have is a my trustee laptop, which made it run even if it didn't have the requirements, but it couldn't run it so smoothly.
So what are your specs?
