Status Update
Hey all, I wanted to give everyone a heads up as to where my pattern creativity has disappeared to. It's still there, and the hundreds of patterns sitting on my hardrive still waiting to be converted are a daily reminder.
But, in October of last year I got to join the long line at the unemployment office. Ever since then I've basically become self employed. It's not easy, and I probably would never had done it on my own but it sure beats what I got let go from :)
I am enjoying myself and learning new things, but it isn't leaving me a heck of a lot of time to work on hobbies. So I apologize for not being so um 'fruitful' in my offerings here for the past few months but as things settle down I'll be able to get back into the swing of things.
Quite of few of you have been extremely supportive during this time period, you know who you are, and I greatly appreciate it.
So lots of smooches to everyone who's downloaded and enjoyed my work, may your Sims be fruitful in their own way ;)
first blog!!
This is my very first blog entry.....so exciting! i never really knew what to write in these things so i never bothered. Iam really hoping someone reads this and helps to point me in the right direction.Im on a japanese kick right now and i really really want a kotatsu table for my sims 3 lots.i found one similar at mod the sims but its just not quite right! found one here at TSR too but its for sims 2.any one out there reading this knows of any where i can find this table i would be soooo grateful,really anything japanese would be great too!!in the mean time im gonna keep searching!
The Gold Digger: Out Now!
Hello everyone, long time no speak! I am blogging today as my latest story is out! However, it's a little bit different to most other stories. It's going to be in three parts, but each part will be told by a different character. It's about an elderly woman who suspects her very rich husband of having an affair with his secretary. Also, this story has been featured on the front page of TSR! This has never happened to me before, so I am over the moon! Sims 3 trouble
Hi Everyone! I want to apologize for a lack of recent creations due to a game crash. Apparently my laptop can't run very well the game and it overheats. I'm trying to fix this problem as soon as possible so on the meanwhile enjoy my posted creations! :D
Current Sims 3 Project!
I'm almost finished with my next Sims 3 project, it's a farmhouse styled dining set. The set was inspired by a photograph of an antique cabinet in a Better Homes and Gardens magazine. Initially, I planned on creating just a cabinet, but I later decided to add a few more pieces; a farmhouse dining chair and table, and a few of the clutter items pictured in the photograph. The cabinet will have several slots added for decorative/clutter objects.
RL is still extremely busy with family health issues, but I hope to publish the Farmhouse Dining Set soon!

Six feet under
So... the tomb is finished :D! After creating it I thought that u where supposed to have a story behind it and so I wrote one. later on I realised that it wasn't necessary and it took up a lot of space in the lot-description and so I will simply write it here in case anyone would be interested :)
(I know I'm not much of a writer so plz don't judge it to hard)
"The legend says that this old graveyard was once the location of a great and beautiful castle. A rich castle which held a library containing all the knowledge in the world. Once this castle was ruled by a kind and wise queen who was the mother of four daughters. The youngest one of these beautiful and bright girls appeared happy on the outside but was secretly holding a grudge against her older sisters because they all stod before her in line of inheriting the throne. And so the young princess started searching for a way to get her hands on the castle. One dark and cloudy night the princess stumbled over a long forgotten book in the castles library, a book which should have been left forgotten. In the big leather bound book the princess soon found a spell, a spell which supposedly gave the caster eternal life! Without thinking twice, and without reading all the consecvenses, the excited girl saw all her dreams withing grasp and so she started casting the long and complicated spell. After hours in a trance like state the spell was finished, and as the last word left the young princess lips, so did her life. The girl dropped to the ground only to take a new breath before she had even touched the ground, quick as a cat she jumped back up just as the earth started to move! walls were caving in and from far away corners of the castle servants and guards were screaming for their lifes. The reborn princess left the room with a evil smirk on her lips, a smirk which revealed her newfound teeth, teeth which were trembling to feel to warmth of fresh blood. And so the princess became the ruler of the castle as it stopped moving and started adjusting for it's new location, six feet under..."
PS: I have intentionally made this tomb a bit harder then the original ones in TS3 simply because I found them a bit to simple at times^^
Get your Goth on!
I'm starting to do a series of Gothic style homes for your Vamps or Goths. The first home is called "Nightshade" and is your typical looking Gothic home, others will be somewhat similar or more elaborate. I got the idea from Daisylee who is a member here at TSR and in the future she will being doing a Vampire neighborhood in CAW. Stay tuned!
New Wallpapers for Sims 2 and new Houses for Sims 3!

I guess the Sims just does not like me or the story, cause it deleted my save file when i was transferring files on my computer. So, until i can remake it til this point, I'll put out the chapter I have data for,and then work on a new story. So wish me luck with this.....sigh :(Starting Over Again
Hello everyone, this is my first blog post here on TSR. While I have been a member here for over a year now, it has only been the last few months that I have begun scouring this site and seeing all that is available. I have to say, it's a GINORMOUS catalog of custom content. Picking and choosing what to download is tough, deciding what to add, and what to save for another day. It's all great work, and for those who are creating this, my hat's off to all of you. I can only imagine the work and time that goes into making each item, and believe me, I do appreciate all that you do.
I guess I should start off by saying that I am a 37 year old male, Over The Road Truck Driver, single, and from upstate New York. I have been a fan of The Sims franchise ever since it first came out, and have bought every expansion and version since. Since I am an OTR driver, I often don't have time to play the game much. And recently, I took on a project of totatlly redoing the game, from all fresh content, to a New World, which I am still currently working on called Chateau Valley. It's a large world, with currently over 110 lots, and room for hundreds more if I so desire, which, uh, kinda, not so much.. I love creating it, but WOW is it time consuming! I looked at creating the new world as a chance to start all over again with the game. I have taken lots from each of the EA created cities, and placed copies of them into the new world, and many of the sims as well, to make the town feel more like, well, a town. Afterall, what is a town without people, er, Sims.
What I like best about the CAW program, is the ability to place lots precisely where I want them, and not have to worry about not matching the lot up with a road. Cause I am picky, and I like things neat, tidy, and orderly, I.E. in a straight line, and I can do that with CAW. Plus, there are those custom sized lots that everyone wants to use, and this is where you get them. It's a very good tool, but I do wish that there was the ability to paint terrains on each lot while in CAW, rather than having to go to Edit Mode, in the game to do that. I like to paint the edge of each lot, so that you have a good idea of what the size of each lot is, without having to click on it to see. It makes it easy to tell that way. Of course the terrain paint is free in the game, so it's just a matter of repainting the terrain the original color to make it normal again.
As far as the game itself, my favorite thing to do is build houses, although I'm not real good at it. I can make a lot functional, but asthetically pleasing like ya'all do, is something quite different. My weakness is definately landscaping. My taste tends toward old school traditional, with big houses and oversized rooms, and classic designs. Antebellum, Colonial, Georgian, and mansion types are what I typically end up making. I don't do so well with modern, contemporary, or rustic styles. I end up adding stuff that doesn't belong, and it just doesn't look right. lol
Anyway, I'm gonna stop here for now, and continue another day. I'll post here about the world, and let you know how it's going. Happy Simming till then.

NEW WORLD RELEASED! Beta of Isle of Aaru released.

Right now I am only releasing the version without the community lots, since I'd rather release the full version after my community lots have all been published at The Sims Resource. New Gaming Phase
Dear fellow simmers,
This is my first ever blog entry. I don't know why I never wrote anything before, probably because I didn't even notive I could have a blog. Oh well, now I know. I have recently re-installed Sims 2 on my brother's computer, along with a 'few' expension packs: University, Nightlife, Open For Business, Pets, Season, Apartment Life, Freetime and a few stuff packs as well. I'd be ashamed if I missed anything. Anyway, I made a few families in Strangetown and have already sent off a child to university. I am trying so hard not to get bored of the game, as I already did a few times before, so now that I have Freetime and Apartment Life again that's a whole lot easier.
This entry doesn't really have a point, except letting you all know that I am alive and I am playing TS2. I might be uploading some creations soon as I have been working on many hair and eye, even skin re-colours so I don't know if they are any good and I'd love your feedback :)

Art Deco Project - Update 1
I am having a lot of fun with this project. So far I have created several window drafts and this is my favourite so far. I like the way the chevron design has turned out and it will definitely be a part of the set.

Maybe you wonder where I've been? I've been here all the time, but I don't know what to create. I have been working on some small stuff, but nothing is finished. Do you have any ideas on what I could create?

Moving Day!
I know some of you might be wondering what's happened to me. Well, the big moving day has been scheduled for the 17th. I've been lugging smaller stuff on my own all this time and now it's time to get all the good stuff there. I'll officially start living there that day too. Woot! It is so much nicer than where I'm at. I can't wait. But once I'm there maybe things will settle down a bit for me to get back to fun stuff. I'll be there and can unpack bit by bit. Heh, just in time for Sims Medieval to arrive.
I've been playing Dragon Age 2 at night to unwind before bed but I'm not liking it. Not at all. I'm really trying to because I LOVE Dragon Age: Origins. Alas, I don't feel a connection, it's not a true sequel anyway, and I just don't feel like it's the same world. Yet I can't disconnect it totally and pretend it's a new game either. Ah well. It might not get played but I know I'll enjoy Sims Medieval. I love medieval stuff and I love my simmies. Match made in heaven.

Just wanted to apologize for the slow down of submitted lots the past few weeks. Everyone in my home has been taking turns getting sick. So I have been busy taking kids to the Dr, shoving medicine in everyone, including my man. Naturally they shared their germs with me so I have a wicked cold. Nothing major, but because I have asthma as well, colds get me down a bit more then the kids. I have been working on lots but I could not concentrate enough to finish any of them. I should have a lot complete later today, so hopefully it will be published tomorrow. I just wanted to let anyone know, that might be wondering why I slowed down, what was going on. Not to sound cliche, because I am far from Mother of the Year, but my children do come before my gaming. Hope everyone can understand that. Thanks for your patience!

I'm Back and Better than Ever...
Well its been a while but I'm back into the world of the Sims and I'm keen to get started on some new lot building, getting acquainted with the new features of the latest patches and getting to work on my first custom content for the Sims 3.
Last November I started to have money troubles after losing my well paid job and having to pay bills that seemed endless. In order to raise money I had to sell my HDTV, my Playstation 3 and worst of all, my custom built (by me) high spec computer which I used to play Sims 2 and Sims 3. I had to dig out my old PC to use for simple computing tasks as its not even worth putting Sims on it because it won't run well enough to enjoy.
However, the Gods of fortune have looked down upon me and I have been able to get my hands on some new RAM and a new graphics card, and the Sims 3 runs fine now even on high settings; you have no idea how much I've missed my little virtual friends.
Anyway, I'm gonna get stuck into a good game tonight, read some CC tutorials tomorrow and get cracking on some new stuff over the weekend ready to upload to TSR on Monday.

Hey all,
Just an update to let you all know that I'm still around :) and currently writing....well not currently because 'currently i'm writing this blog, but it's kind of a 'background' currently, anyway 'background currently' writing the next Tomb Raider story. I think I'm going to call it 'The Sword of Excalibur' but I'm not sure yet, just a title i'm tossing around.
Well well well.....in case none of you have noticed I've been upgraded.......if that is the word to a TSR Composer! I nearly died when I read the message asking me :) Mum & Dad are very proud too. I feel like I should be churning out more stories now, but everything's sooo busy! I'm now the only employee at work after the other guy was fired, so work hasn't really been that much fun, I'm a full time student trying to get a Diploma in Multimedia and when I get home I'm usually on 'puppy duty' because my sister's usually looking after her all day. So that's if I'm not at work, or doing homework, OR trying to practice for my music exam that's coming up in the next month or two. There's not that much time to write beloved stories, but I assure you every spare chance I get I've been writing. I just finished writing Chapter 6 of the new Tomb Raider story, so I'm going to start making them in game soon, probably this weekend if I finish all my assignments :)
Anyway I must be off, I only had a spare second while I was reformatting my external hard drive for school. Sorry if it sounds like i'm complaining, I like being busy, but at the moment it's just....very stressful.
Oh plus! I don't know why but my Lara Croft sim that I uploaded ages ago is still pending, I shall endeavor to find out though. It's very odd, or is that just how long sim's are taking now to be uploaded? I uploaded her a while ago, when I wrote the last post which I think was February 14, so it's nearly been a month....hmm interesting. Anyway I'll look into it.
I Hope you all look forward and enjoy your WEEKEND!! Which here (Victoria, Australia) is a long weekend! I'm not entirely sure why...I should really look that up, but hey a free holiday is a free holiday; which I shall spend SIMMING!!!! Ahahahahaha!!

New Legacy sim in the works.
so, having my lap top cleaned seemed to fix the magority of the problems. the game is running mostly like it should. so I don't have to set my lap top back to factory settings. right now I have no CC, but plan to be a little more selective about how much I download. plus I have the clean installer. so I've started a new legacy sim last night. so the story will be up soon.

Since I'm an artist, I do create my own work, and I will definitely apply each on to clothing and objects. For only having 10 items on here and 1,800 some downloads, I'm impressed. My Dear Father passed away after a long illness and I would like to Thank all my Dear Friends here for all of your thoughts and prayers during this very difficult month. Starting a new project - Art Deco Build Items
I have been thinking about this for a while but have never gotten around to do it. A few weeks ago a member, erwinsims, posted a request for art deco stuff and by chance that post caught my attention so I finally got the kick in the butt to go for it. Now I realize why I have put it off until now, lol. There is so much great architecture out there in the big world that I am drowning in reference material already and I will get more in a few days. Am I excited? Will this drive me mad? Will it be fun? Yes, yes, and yes!
