what happened with my stories...
So a few of you might have noticed that my stories in the forums are locked..sadly, I've been having problems with my game and It might very well be an issue with my lap top as well. *sigh*
I have for some time suspected that there was a problem within the game. but I'm sure many of you know how it is when you become attached to your sims. I loved all 72 of them even the ones that were some what drab and boring..and the few I wanted to die already...those elixer of life junkies.
so everything is gone...I tried reinstalling the game and putting the game files back in. only to have the same problems. tried deleting everything..game files and ugh..downloads..only to still have the same issues with the game. did discover that apparently happy holidays is not compatable with my lap top. oops.. so everything had to come back out. did a file search and got rid of everything that remained. I think my copy of happy holidays might be a bootleg..as it has no install code. but I guess for $6 on Amazon I should not be to surprised.
I will be reinstalling the game minus happy holidays, and hopefully I have properly removed it. first though, I am waiting for a new battery for my lap top as it does not hold a charge. and if I remove the battery to run it on just the power cord..well there is no turning the lap top on like that. ugh. I am waiting for a new battery. I order one, but then they tell me that it is out of stock and will take 2 or 3 months til I get it..??? also plan to take my lap top in to be cleaned. it's 2 years old and for the most part I vacume it off, but it over heats a lot now and vacuming it off no longer helps. possibly will be rolling it back to factory settings but must first get my son to lend me his external hard drive for me to move all my important files on to. he offered it but when I ask he says "Later".
so it may be a month or so til a new story pops up. I am thinking of using one of the custome hoods in the game instead of pleasantview.
New World Coming Soon!
Hello guys,
A bit of good news. My silence here was a result of a battle with Create-a-World followed by a battle with uploading my new world to the official site via the launcher. Since I'm determined to upload my world somewhere, I've put my fight with the launcher aside and decided to create my own website to promote the new world. I'll have the new world posted for download on the new site shortly, but I'm waiting until after all of my community lots in the world are uploaded here (there's a method to my madness). In the meantime, enjoy my upcoming community lots and peruse the gallery for pictures of the new place.
Ciao, amici. :)
Screenshots!
Finally, you're able to see all the stuff I did on my game. Please give comments and rates. Oh, and as for the upcoming ideas to load for Sims 3, it can't be done... the meshes worked out fine, but I couldn't find my meshes in the game alone. It was a disappointment.... Anyway, enjoy my photos.
Spring is in the Air
I know it isn't here quite yet, but I've got spring fever. :) I am busy making lots of goodies for both Sims 2&3, so keep coming back, you won't be disappointed!
Sims Medieval - Heroes
Package 2: Heroes
Whether engaging in combat, crafting poisons to dispose of a rival, or applying leeches in an effort to cure other Sims, your hero Sims help set the overall tone of your kingdom. From the decrees of the Monarch to the poems and plays of the Bard, the actions of your hero Sims help shape the experience of all of the Sims in the realm.
Heroes – The Basics
Hero Sims are the Sims that you can control. There are ten different hero Sims in all: the Monarch, Bard, Blacksmith, Jacoban Priest, Peteran Priest, Knight, Merchant, Physician, Spy, and Wizard. You begin with the Monarch and, as you complete quests, you earn Resource Points which you can spend on a new building and new hero.
Each hero has special abilities, their own signature objects, and a unique building they call home. Heroes also have special ways to earn money, although all Sims can earn Simoles by fishing or and gathering wildflowers.
The Heroes
The ten different heroes are described below. One thing to note: any hero can be either a male or a female. You decide this when you add a hero to your realm.
The Bard
With a love for the arts and life in general, the Bard makes his home at the tavern. He spends his time serenading fellow Sims with his lute, composing poems, and writing and performing plays. When not devoting himself to his craft, he seeks out experiences, drawing inspiration from other Sims and the world at large.

The Blacksmith
This hero forges the steel that is the backbone of your kingdom. Although her usual fare includes armor, swords, and other weapons, she has also been known to create one-of-a-kind objects. The Blacksmith ekes out her living at the smithy and, in addition to crafting a range of metal goods, can mine ore and sell her goods at the market.

The Jacoban Priest
Adhering to a strict moral code that sometimes condones using vigorous force to compel other Sims to practice what he preaches, the Jacoban Priest lives in the grand cathedral, surrounded by luxury—well, medieval luxury anyway. Known to issue bold proclamations and exact punishment for transgressions, this priest is often both revered and feared.

The Knight
Like the finely honed sword she wields, the Knight was made for war. When not engaged in battle, she can be found in the training yard preparing for the next campaign. Her superb fighting skills make the Knight particularly adept at hunting—and she is not above using her threatening demeanor to extort Simoles from fellow Sims.

The Merchant
Traveling far and wide to procure the most exquisite—or at any rate, unusual—goods, the Merchant gives the Sims in your realm what they want at a competitive price. Buying low and selling high helps him ensure not just a profit but the melodious jangle of Simoles in his own purse.

The Monarch
Whether benevolent or terrifying, the Monarch has the power of the realm in her hands. The yoke of authority can be heavy though as every choice the ruler makes impacts all within her kingdom. A busy Sim, the Monarch must find time to hear petitions from her subjects, propose edicts, order any offending Sims to the stocks—or worse to the pit—and maintain her fighting skills to ensure that she’s combat-ready.

The Peteran Priest
Gentler than his Jacoban brothers, the Peteran priest prides himself on being a sage ascetic—or he would if pride weren’t a sin. Preaching compassion, he strives to help others live according to The Watcher’s principles and spends his time writing when not giving sermons or blessing well water.

The Physician
Conditions in medieval times are nearly perfect for the spread of disease and so the role of the Physician is an important one. Using her vast arsenal of cutting-edge treatments, she applies leeches, administers tonics, and occasionally performs surgeries if there is no safer alternative. In her spare time, she wanders the fields of the kingdom seeking herbs that she can sell or craft into tonics.

The Spy
Not so much secretive as discreet, the Spy maintains a network of informers that he uses to further his agenda. Whether crafting a subtle poison, picking pockets, or eavesdropping on important conversations, he is always thinking two steps ahead of his adversaries—and his allies.

The Wizard
Born with special skills, the Wizard’s power grows as she studies the arcane arts and applies her formidable willpower. Secluded in her tower, the Wizard crafts potions and magic items and perfects new spells. Fellow Sims rejoice when she ventures out, as her powerful spells can bestow abundance on the town.

--------
Unrelated to heroes, but I saw this screenshot on facebook\sims medieval and thought I should share :) Even with the more realistic features, we can still make very pretty sims!

Asarina Build Set and Asarin Curtains Set publish dates set
The Asarina Build Set has been delayed because of a bad cold but will be published on Monday (March 7th).
I have also created a new set of curtains and valances because the windows are high and no other curtains fit them they way I want them to fit. The curtains will be published on Wedensday (March 9th).
The curtains have solid and sheer versions and the shorter curtains are moveable up and down the wall. They can be used standalone but look a lot better with the valances added.

Picture Previews
I am still hard a work creating some lovely things to go with the theme of my Vacation in Paradise Collection and so far I have completed 1 lot, 30 pictures, 2 very pretty eyeshadows, 2 patterns, and 2 terrians. I work during the day time so its kind of hard to complete all that I want to do in one day but I am working hard and taking my time so that everything is perfect for your very deserving Simmies:)
Here are a few of my picture collections that will be included in upcoming lots.
Thought the art works included in my picture collections have been minipulated and stylized by me. I do not take credit for the original art work. I found these pictures on a royalty free stock photography site and each artist will be noted when I upload the pictures to TSR per there request.

Additions & Failures
Simple, but weird ideas for Sims 3. I know you guys will love 'em. Maybe even a few Sims I've created in the game? I have Sims 2, but Double Deluxe sucks... The Bodyshop doesn't work for that, and it's ticking me off. So, I'll buy Sims 2 itself and work on projects that way. So far, you guys don't seem disappointed in my creations. I hope? Please, feel free to give feedback! I'm going to try and unlock screenshot so you'll be able to see what all I've done.
New milestone 500.000 downloads ... thank you all!
Wow today we reached 500.000 downloads. Thank you all so much!

By the way thanks for more than 11.000 Thanks yous and 50.000 page views :)
FR Cancelled
Hi everyone! *group hug*
Recently I’ve been doing a lot of thinking, and I mean A LOT. It’s gotten so bad to the point where I got a migraine and had to lie down for a couple of hours. I’ve had this thought and burden on my mind since I came back from the coast, since I last posted a chapter of Forgotten Redemption. The thought that have been on my mind have now settled though, as I have finally made a decision.
I’ve decided to stop writing Forgotten Redemption.I know some people will be angry or upset, but I have my reason.
When I started Forgotten Redemption I was so excited and I was very passionate about the story. However, as tike has moved on, I have new perspective and I have bigger ideas on my mind. Maybe I’m being foolish or selfish, but believe me…it took me such a long time to come up with a decision. Do I continue even though I no longer have a passion for writing it, or do I stop? I was so worried about everyone else’s feelings and reactions, but in the end…I realized something very important. This realization is what made me come to my decision. I realized that I do not want to let my readers read something that I no longer have a passion for. Without my eagerness and determination for this story I wouldn’t want to bring you something that I haven’t put my heart and soul into.
I apologise to those who wanted to continue reading the series, but please understand…
I’ll put up another blog post of what I was planning to write for the upcoming chapter and a few pictures too.
Thank you so much to everyone who supported me on my story, you mean so much to me :D
Keep writing!!

Select Artist for 7 Months!
I just realized yesterday I was a Select Artist here at TSR for 7 months! Wow time certainly flies. I'm always the kind who's the most critical on my own work, so I'm surprised and delighted that TSR continues to feature my work regularly, and keeps me on as SA. I still love The Sims 2 and creating for it with a passion (though you may see some Sims 3 things from me from time to time). I took a rest from creating around October - December to focus on spirituality more, but came back to my first love which was creating for Sims 2. And I actually learned some new things this past winter Accessory meshes, clothing meshes, BHAVs, adding slots, animating food. I'm having so much fun creating, and it's all the comments and downloads that keep me going. So a big Thank You to TSR, and a huge Thank You to all the downloaders, and friends I've met here on TSR.

The Olde Farmhouse
You love gardening, the peace of rural life and don't mind a somewhat used look if your home is spacious enough to house a family? Then you should have a look at this old Farmhouse with the oldest part being built at the beginning of the 19 century. And the descendents of its first owner added room by room to enlarge the house during the times. The builder was a peasant but over the decades his sons and grandsons and great grandsons nursed a garden and grew many many plants he didn't even know that they existed - rare and extraordinary plants they brought from their visits from abroad as they all were a rather adventurous family.

It was hold
by the family over a period of nearly two centuries but now Mrs Rose Leister died at
the high age of 101 years it is for sale. Because of the many additions you'll
have more stairs to climb then used to when living in a temporary house but
perhaps that's just what Mrs Rose saved her health all through her long and mostly happy life.
She never got tired to take best care of her garden and its plants and nursed them so carefully that at least she's got the perfect garden. This garden is the
warm and vivid heart of this home and it will fill the heart of any avid gardener with pure
pleasure and joy - if working or relaxing in the warm sun before the old stone walls that keep away the wind from the sea. Here you get a look into the backyard:

But the house has a heart, too: it's the kitchen with that great fireplace that never went dark. At the floor plans you easily can see which rooms of the house Mrs Leister was living in. That was the kitchen, of course, followed by the small room leading directly to the garden. Though Mrs Leister didn't change much at the
building itself she made sure that the appliances were contemporary and of best
quality. She preferred to spend her time in her beloved garden with gardening or
painting or doing some pottery in the shed at the end of the lot instead of wracking herself with old fashioned washing. The washing machine as well the dryer and most of all her stove are high tech! Adjoined to
the kitchen was her bedroom she loved to read in before going to bed and the bathroom that had access
both from the kitchen and the bedroom. At the other side of the entry you'll
find the living room - no much furniture here as she gave it away when her youngest daughter move out but she loved to play the piano in the evenings lit by candles and the fireplace.
On the left
side of the landing of the first floor there is a bedroom she called the "boys' room". It's carefully kept clean but you can see it
wasn't used for more many many years.
The wallpapers and pictures still show the love of her two adventurous sons who
dreamed of travelling to spots far away from home: they painted the walls with treasure paths and decorated them with objects their uncles brought with them returning from visiting spots of the world far far away. When they ran away at the age of 16 Mrs Rose wasn't afraid first - she knew her brothers did the same. But when they didn't return home
for years and some day she got the message that the ship they stowed away with had sunken, she locked the door. She never changed anything in this room and only visited it to clean it or to remember the
time when her twins were small. Then she cried some bitter tears. On the right hand there is the old study of her
children - one summer they'd painted it with dragons and she never changed that
either - though it might look a little surprising to visitors. When she became
older she placed a tv in this room and on cold dark winter nights she used to
light a fire in that fireplace and enjoy some movies. Watching the wall painting always gave her a smile - they were so talented, all the four of her children. Adjoined to this study
there is the "girls' room" her two daughters shared and the
children's bathroom. These two rooms have a rather low ceiling but no
one ever worried about that as they felt very cosy sleeping there. And whenever the daughters and their family were visiting they slept here. Especially the grandchildren loved the attic - they used to kneel at the window and watch the cars driving by at the old street below.
There is a basement below that farmhouse with a garage, a room with an old but still working nectar making machine and access to a spacious cellar one level down - a great place to store nectar shelves! The basement has direct access to the garden, too, and when you're dirty you'll appreciate the shower Mrs Rose has installed here and even the old privy under the stairs.
I know it's
not really cheap - but it's a real bargain if you're looking for something like
that to live your dream and to raise your children at this wonderful spot of Sunset Valley. And I promised dear old Mrs Rose that I'd look for the right family to move in her beloved home - a family that appreciates the beauty that it offers.
So if you're interested, don't hesitate, call me! You know I'm the real estate agent you can trust in. You’ll find me right near the library.
Sims Medieval - Quests
EA UK just released this info :)
Package 1: Quests
The Middle Ages were a time of adventure and intrigue so of course The Sims Medieval includes a variety of heroic quests for your Sims to undertake. From initiating an Inquisition to arranging a politically advantageous marriage, the quests that your Sims engage in shape and color the experience of all of the Sims in your realm.
Quests – The Basics
The information that you need to monitor and direct your Sims on their quests is easily accessible from the Quest Panel. There you can see who is assigned to your current quest, what they need to do (broken down in to tasks that they need to complete), and how well they’re doing. Sometimes your Sims have options in how they accomplish certain tasks on their quest. The direction you choose will of course impact what impact the quest has on your kingdom, so choose wisely!
Quest Selection
You start quests in Kingdom Mode by choosing one from the Quest book. Quests can play out in a wide variety of ways, depending on the “approach” you take at the start, and on the choices you make as your Sims progress. Your approach also pre-determines which heroes you need to complete the quest. You will then choose your quest leader and the primary hero for the selected quest.
As you make choices, the right-most section of the quest book records each selection, so by the end, it shows a summary of all the quest decisions you’ve made. If you forget some of the finer details of your current quest, you can check out the quest book to remind yourself. You can also quit the current quest from the quest book, but beware, you will not regain the Quest Points you spent.
Quest Performance
How well are your Sims doing on the quest? There a couple of indicators that let you know. The first is the goblet and small meter next to it in the UI panel. This goblet and meter reflect your current medal ranking (bronze, silver, or gold). You can also review your quest performance meter by hovering over the Quest Performance goblet. The higher your performance and medal ranking when you complete the quest, the better your rewards! When a quest ends, your current Performance Level dictates both the medal and the rewards you receive.
Your performance doesn’t just entitle you to better rewards. If your Quest Performance drops below the bronze medal ranking, you will be thrown in the stocks! So remember, neglecting quest tasks for extended periods of time lowers your performance until a quest task is completed.
Go Forth Gallantly!
That’s it! Those are the basics of quests in The Sims Medieval. So gird your loins, summon your courage, and send your Sims out in your name to make their mark on history!
And more screenshot time :D http://www.thesimsresource.com/staff/sww/galleries/details/id/1552/
March Update
Well, the house request and the Valentine's contest submission were completed. Simland Yard is aving to be restarted as the first attempt was unsuccessful. Will need to do research on museum ideas (looking at famous historical museums), a city hall and a school, my idea for that one will be probably based on the building from Sanctuary... could be an interesting use of an interesting building. Hoping to be actually playing the game once again by April... dreaming?
Finally got Sims 3...
And it took less than a day for me to go running back to Sims 2! First of all, it all looks a bit slap-dash to me. No matter what you do all the sims basically look alike to me, the graphics aren't impressing me at all. And then there's the babies and toddlers...*shudder* The babies just look dead, with those blankets wrapped around them and no eyebrows. And even without that weird stretching glitch I've heard about, the toddlers are just bizarre looking. Think I'll stick with 2 for now. I like the custom content for 2 better anyway. ;)
Video Music
My first music video that i did with the sims 3.
Hope you like it!

Veronaville coming soon...
The 15th and final part of Strangetown, along with a surprise inside, is published and waiting to be approved. Since the computer accident I had to rewrite a lot, but at least the game itself is safe. As you are reading this, I am making a backup copy to a disk of my Pleasantview, Strangetown and downloads, so it will sit safely on the shelf, in case anything happens.
Something is wrong now with my Veronaville (which I haven't played since my last reinstall, haven't even touched it), all the Maxis-made screenshots and stories are gone. When I enter it says "This neighborhood has no history" or something like that. And since I can't make the intro without it, I will have to find a way to get those back... Hopefully without having to reinstall the whole game.
But I am already learning about the sims of Veronaville and making up a plan how to play them, who to match with who... I decided not to make it a themed old historical neighborhood (even though I really wanted to) simply because it wouldn't coordinate well with the pictures that are already there... And it would have to go modern somehow anyway. But it still won't be ordinary. Pleasantview was ordinary (mostly). Strangetown had aliens. In Veronaville, there's magic in the air...
I MISS MY SIMS 2!!
Sadly my sims 2 games are in another country so I can't wait until it comes. I'm gonna look at more downloads-my favorite things :p
