error in installing sims 2 expansions
hi guys,
i am having a problem in installing sims 2 expansions. every time I install a expansion, the installation gets stuck on the updating process at a file name "package installer.exe" or "bodyshop.exe".what should i do? please help.
I also tried installing the sims 2 patch but it is also getting stuck on a file "objects".
'Simscreating' my rl house...
is not that simple :P First of all, the architects who designed this house put the doors all wrong, so I bet my Sims will have problems getting into the kitchen, just like I do with bags full of shopping. Then there's the mezzanine in eldest daughter's room - there's no ladders to be found (for stairs the room's far too small) that will get my simsdaughter up to her desk to make her homework. The attic is already stuffed with junk - but no-one will ever be able to get anything as there are no foldable attic stairs either... I think I will try my hand at making a compost heap and a rabbit hutch - and a somewhat smaller willow tree - to finish off my garden. Oh, and need to find a skylight for the garage.
The outside is looking almost fine...
Up to this morning :P I will have to sort through CycloneSue's stuff now to 'decorate' my garden. There seems to have been a freak storm last night and the garden is a tip...
I fear I will have to postpone virtual building to do some real life clearing up :P

Bahaus garage door
Can't clone the bahaus garage door from the ea shop :( so after some work i built 1 :)) just need the glass fixed to let light though then i can do the diags an upload

Updates and hello's
Hello hello and welcome to my blog, i recently just figured how to perk my profile around and added pods left to right, now its crowded, but not in a bad way, i think.
I'd would like to thank those who follow my stories, they're not so many, but i'm eternally greatful to them. *bows*
Story Updates:
Kimura-Cho Dynasty- im working on finishing it though i gave some sort of an improvised lazy ending to it, but i dunno when to update it since i'm now tangled with my latest project, Gossip City.
Saving Twinbrook - The story of the epic epicness of how twinbrook was destroyed... or something like that. I gave a really vogue introduction to this story that im not sure if its worth finishing or continuing it, it's moving so slow that i'm thinking of abandoning it. But i'm not sure yet.
But if ever i will continue it, watch out for LOVE, ACTION, ROMANCE and just plain awesomeness with the unknown.
Gossip City - I cant believe this story got featured, im eternally greatful to TSR for giving me such an oportunity :D
Given the last chapter, or 'act' as what i called it, i left questions unanswered, but things will reaveal it's self soon enough, im currently working on the 2nd chapter, hopefully it will turn out good, else only flies will visit the page @.@
I'll blog again when there are new updates.

Well, Amelia Castle made it to the downloads page and is doing ok- as in it hasn't bombed completely!! I know it's a slow process and it's got a lot of excellent competition, so I am ok with it's starting results! Now that I've figured it all out, I think I can put some of my other creations up... I have a few that are all ready to go. Now, though I have to go in search of the best way to upload and display my sims!

Learning to create in the web world
I am new to the creating on the web aspect. But am a fast learner. I notice detail and that the web is full of creative people. I also notice that there are more clothes out for women then men. So as my first concern to the creative aspect is the creation of some more mens attire for Sims 3. I enjoy the look of the modern man as the next gal. So any ideas the anyone has or would like to see let me know. the more detail you provide the better I can get it the way you want. Thanks

Next step!
Woooooooooooot Alright!! Now I have managed to upload my avi! She's favorite snowy little elf type sim- Snow Sprite! She is pretty basic with very little cc so I may try uploading and submitting her... But, for now, I will wait to see how my first creation does. If it does half way decent, I'll try more of them!
I have also stuck a little toe into forums to test those waters a bit, that's still quite scary though! It's a very big place out there and I am quite used to my cozy little neighborhood over at tss. I do think though that I need to venture out to other places once in a while. It's always good to go out visiting!!
A bit of success
Ahhhh I am pleased to say my very first upload has been approved and will be published tomorrow! I am excited! Only hope it does well. That's is the frustrating part of sharing your work. You can think it's a master piece, but that doesn't mean anyone else will agree with you! And, with so many fantastic builders out there I'm quite sure my little builds will struggle a bit. But, I am willing to take that chance.
I have spent the last year or so battling with the sims3 site exchange where I was uploading my creations. I am so disappointed and frustrated with it though that I am hoping I can find a home here for my creations. I don't expect amazing and awesome results but I would hope that at least this site won't be broke half of the time, eat my creations for lunch and then feature a pair of shoes that someone recolored. As I said, I am just so disillusioned by it that I am having a hard time finding my self confidence with creating again.
Making progress
Ok, I have made some progress in figuring the submission process out! Thank you so much to my friends over at tss, KateKnight, Peacemake, and Garbuckle!! I managed to get the lot uploaded and submitted, along with some pics- not really happy about those mainly because I was at high frustration level right then and got too impatient! I will know better next time. I am determined to get this process figured out and share my creations here! Now, let's see if I can get a few pics to show up here?!

Trying to figure everything out
Arrrghhh Ok, I have decided to attempt uploading and submitting my creations to this site... I have figured part of it out but still have questions and am getting seriously frustrated with finding no answers anywhere to my questions!! Am at the point where I feel like I'm getting nowhere and am just talking to myself? So, my sim life has begun to resemble the rest of my life!!
I know how to upload my packaged exported lot. What I can't find answers to is whether I can change my cover pics on with the image upload changer program I've been using. I also can't find anywhere the size that my pics need to be for my screenshots? I normally transfer them out of my game screenshot folder to photo edit them in some other program and or upload them to my photoshare site and change the original sized of them... Ya think I can find answers to these silly questions any where? NO!! It then makes me feel completely incompetent because obviously these must be really random stupid questions if no one else bothers to think of them except me?!!!
Yume
Yume is a nice 3 bedroom 4 bathroom home right next to the beach. I love how it looks, I think it tuned out nice! Hope you guys like it as well.
On the first floor I have the entry way, kitchen, dinning room, Livingroom, and a full bathroom.
The second floor has thee bedrooms and baths. There is a master bedroom, a teen bedroom, and a baby bedroom.
Third floor has a bar, dancefloor, and sitting area, as well as a fire pit on the balcony.
On the outside It has a garden with beginner plants, pool, and hot tub.

Blizzard
Just wanted to give everyone a heads up in case this blizzard we are expecting knocks out our power. (hope not lol) If I drop off the grid for a couple of days I will be back as soon as I can! I really hope the weather man is wrong. I do not even remember seeing a Blizzard warning in my entire life! Atleast I have a fireplace for backup lol!
Beautiful sky, Newest house with working waterfall!
Finally just upladed this one, but its not fully furninshed. Just needs to have the 5 bedrooms on the second story finished. Everything else is done! I just got a new idea for another house and I know if I dont work on that soon I'll forget it (my memory sucks).
Anyways its got a working waterfall in the front, Those are so much fun to make! And they look so cool! um.. yeah side tracked anyways, the back has a heart shaped patio. A garage with spots for two cars, and a few bicycles. And a garden on the roof.
First floor has two bathrooms. a living room, diningroom/kitchen, bar room, gym, laundry, Art studio, office, and a Music room! This level is fully furnished, but might need a few finishing touches like pictures. I dont like to add pictures to houses that I upload because I like to only use downloaded ones, and I dont want you all to have to download like 15 picutes for one house.
Second floor, has 5 bedrooms, or four if you want to make one of them an office or a game room. I didnt furnish this floor. I feel bad for not finishing it, but I had to start working on that new house it forced me to stop! 
Third floor, Has the master bedroom, a sitting area with fish, and the roof top garden! I put starter plants in there for you all.
As always I hope you enjoy this house! I know I had a ton of fun making it! Now on to the next project! Oh and I want to say thanks to all the artists whose downloads I used in this house! Thinking of trying to learn how to make some objects and stuff, if I'm not to lazy. Anyways enjoy!

New stuff
My first time making stuff for the sims and I am so proud of myself! I made a shirt and now a dress and I am working my way up. I have a lot to learn especially with meshes. I am unsure as to how to mesh clothing using TSR workshop. If anyone knows of a tutorial or want to explain it that would be great! I know how to use CTU, but TSR seems a lot more complicated or maybe I am just really slow. I am open to advice and some lessons! I hope everyone likes what I have made so far and I plan on making a lot more ^_^

Today! Pendragon Medieval Collection Released!
It's a collection of bejeweled goblets, bowls, and other dining ware items, there’s also a sturdy wooden table draped with a decorative cloth and ornamental wall shields embossed with the family’s crest. I really enjoyed creating the Pendragon Medieval set and I plan to revisit this time peroid again sometime in the future--one of my favorite TV series is the BBC show Merlin!
Real life is still crazy busy with my mom, who's been in-and-out of the hospital since Christmas Eve. Hopefully, RL will be back to normal within a few weeks. I am working on another bedroom set (they're easier and take less time to create), but it is slow going! I really want to start work on a Sims 3 kitchen collection, however I will not start the project until I have lots of free time and I can do my very best work!
And, I have not forgotten about Sims 2, so many ideas, but not enough free time to create anything! LOL!
