Finding a Home
Well after a few hours of playing around with the Sims creator in the game... Alexandar, Michael and Rose are all set up and ready to move into their new digs. However... I haven't quite been happy with the packaged neighbourhoods from EA, so decided to give a new world a try from one of our artists on the forums, Daisylee. She has created a world called Storm Island and you can find out more information about it here:

So I now have an empty shell of an neighbourhood and need to fill it with houses, businesses and sims... one of these days I will get back into the game. In the mean time I get to have some fun picking and choosing those buildings, houses and families my sims will be working and interacting with and in.

Having Too Much Fun With Food!
I am having more fun making food than I think is humanly possible! Ever since I began creating I always wanted to learn how to do food, so I finally learned how to do food after years of trying, was even after I learned how to mesh actually (which I also tried for years) but the thing was, I could pretty much only do food recolors, because new meshes required "animations" or morph states, and I was getting a little confused on the tutorial for that. But a few weeks ago, I finally, finally figured out how to do it! And I'm so excited to be brining you all the finest meals for your sims. You might see just a few food recolors, like fried rice was a recolor, and cole slaw was a recolor, but for the most part, I will be making new food meshes. I've always wanted to make my favorite dishes for the Sims or at least have them in my game before I started really getting into creating, but most of the food creators at the time didn't take request, are were hard to come by. Well anyways, I have so many ideas and just thought I'd let you know that new food is always coming from me, so keep your eyes peeled for sure!
Caught in a Bad Romance
So, I've been in a creative slump as of late. While I've actually made a lot of the sims that I said I would, I haven't uplaoded many, which I think is in part motivated by the negative comments that some have devoted entirely too much of their time to. But, meh, whatever. I'm kind of upset that I didn't stick to my goal of learning how to make clothing, either. I may be uploading again soon, and if I do, it'll probably be a lot over the next week, because I start school soon!

Ready for legacy
Well, I have been playing around for a bit... checking out various forums, downloading various content, as well as buying the remaining packs I have not already purchased or received as gifts. Later today will be grabbing Night Life and Fast Lane and as of about noon or so will have everything released for the game to date.
I have been getting a feel for the game and how I want to play it, and I think I have reached a point where I want to seriously give a go at a legacy family. So after what will probably take me hours of futzing with the sim and town editor I will be ready to start the adventures of Alexandar Chapman, Michael Thorne and Rose Cargill
Happy New Year and an update on my troubles...
First of all, a very Happy New Year to all passers by - and even to those who don't ;) *hands out drinks and nibbles of choice* Cheers!
Now the update - well, it still doesn't work >:( I even have a new screen as the old one was (a little bit) on the blink but nada, zip, zilch, nothing - the screen still goes in standby barely a minute in the game. So, there's only one solution left to me (bar getting another top of the range gaming pc, but my piggybank won't appreciate that) and that's looking into getting a new graphics card as the one I have - quite a good one (NVIDIA GeForce GT 240 to be precise) I might add, as 3D benchmark programs haven't got any problems with it - isn't supported by Sims3 (booh! :P).
But imagine my horror when I found out that the forums aren't working - oh noes!! - all those nice people I had gathered to help with my problems, gone, away in limbo! What to do, what to do? *Sigh* Off we go to dig around on the net...
Feel free to add suggestions here, it's not as we're going to walk over one night of ice before we take such a heavy decision on what to alter in the innards of our favourite toy ;)

she is gorgeous. but she has sooo much subscriber CC with her, i don't know if i want to upload her, because then she'd be subscriber only download, and i don't want to have her like that, or i could just throw a bunch of basic clothes on her. i want her available to everyone. :) so, i'll post a pic or two if you want me to, and then you can tell me if you want me to upload her. my CAS is such a pain to load because i have so much CC, and then i don't get a lot of time until maybe friday night, so she won't be up for a while. that and my launcher's corrupted. :) oh, and i'd also like input on my next sim. i only make female sims, sorry. i'm horrible at making men. XD if you would just leave a comment on maybe things like what color her hair/eyes/etc should be, and things like that. oh and an age. i don't really make elder sims, also. thanks, loves. xo caiteHi everyone and Thankyou
First ... a huge thankyou to those who left me Christmas and New Years messages. It has been a long time since I have been here! Surgery and illness left me drained from inspiration and I must admit I haven't played the game for a long time though I do have the latest EP! Sims 3/Not a player per say
I purchased the sims 3 game and found some flaws in it. When I go to put furniture in it, I get this green streak from what ever and where ever I try to put the piece of furniture I am placing. It makes it hard to see the piece of furniture when I try to place it.... Does anyone else have this problem?.
I had it on the same computer as my sims2, will that interfere with the sims3 game?
Sure hope not.....Took it off for now, until I hear from others about this.
I guess I have to say I am a diehard Sims2 player

Working on a New Set
Hi.
I working slowly on a new Set, in a few Days (maybe weeks) , i will submit my new Meshes. But School is in moment very important for me , so i dont have too much time to mesh. Maybe i should say that i am a beginner in meshing :D Many things to learn , but i can handle the workshop really good , this is a very awesome tool !! thanks to the programmers

First Blog
So... after some time I have found myself back in the Sims... I played with them years ago, but dropped off from them when I started playing MMO's. I still continue to play MMO's but have found myself in need of other diversions so decided to purchae a ciopy of the Sims 3 Deluxe Pack and am once again hooked. Hooked to the point that Night Life and World Adventures were on my Christmas wish list to mother this year LOL. A 43 year old man asking mom for a computer game... almost felt like a teen again ;) (I did get World Adventures from mother... yay!)
So... the family is set up and running and I have re-found my enjoyment and love for the game. I seem to remember that in the original Sims I played there were not nearly the same amount of mods, addons, and overall anything downloadable for the game and this left me in a quandry... what to download first LOL. Mind you... I was able to surmount that one relatively easily... relatively LOL
The Frick & Frack residence is up and running and the nanny is there for any and all future children... lets see where it all goes...
As a side note... I find myself having a slight bit of withdrawl here... what with the forums seemingly down right now :(

New on TSR
Here I am - putting off working on my thesis, AGAIN. But today is my first day on TSR, and I'm so excited to get started, I just don't think I can focus on something as trite and mundane as a literature review...but I must. So, just a few quick words.
I love building houses. I'll be posting a few of the items I have on the Exchange as examples of my work, but from now on, I'll probably post exclusively on TSR, as the Exchange is one big let down. I like beach and mountain homes, and enjoy driving through my community to find new homes to build. I work hard during the week, and crave weekends so I can get back on and BUILD!
If I'm going to get anything posted today, though, I need to accomplish some thesis goals. So I will sign off now, organize chapter 3 of my thesis, and then I'll be back. I'm so excited to be part of this community!
Very first recolorings
Just uploaded a wall hanging recoloring (actally a set of three framed photos.) And another set is also in the making, as, well, I had too many flowers in my garden last spring! :) Also just started to learn some serious creating processes, like making meshes etc, but the SimPE site is down. So, I am a bit disappointed now. Just when I got all the stuff together, software, hardware, manuals etc.

Hello, I try'ed doing outfit for sims 3 and I don't think I'm good ad it ! I coudint even let them get into my game tihihi, So I'l just try when I'm in the mod for it !. Right know I wish I could do something for sims 2, But my computer can't instail it again. She made him disapear you see. Hoho, But then I was starting a new prodject so that out of the picture. But that's all I gotta say know I'm kinda bored but tryed the same time so goodbye.

Red Alert! Real life intrusion!
Well, oh well, oh well... My creating days are put on serious hold here at TSR. I had gotten a job, lost it, got another job, lost that, seems I can't hold onto a job these days. The boyfriend has been shipped out to boot camp for the Air Force, and now I can't stop staring off into space, tears welling, sobs choking my words. I've never been one to rely on another person to live, but jeez, I can't deal without him!! Holy cow, what's happened to me? I can't even create him in the sims and play him, it makes me really miss him all that much more. It's not forever, I know this. But he really had a profoundly calming effect on me, and now I'm back into the chaotic, dog-eat-dog world of job hunting, medical & dental insurance shopping... I'm gonna be 35 in February, and I feel like a lost teenager who just watched her father die...again. All I can do is sit here and wait.
Don't mind me, I'm just venting.
So the creative juices are at a standstill, and while I try to get the priorities back in line, I'm going to let my sub run out (2 days left anyway), and put my sims aside for the next few months. Thanks to everyone who's downloaded my paintings and such, I hope you enjoy them fully, and I'll be back...whenever.

Hello 2011
Finally, 2010 is over. It wasn't all that great of a year for me so I'm looking forward to what the next might bring. 2008 and 2009 were sucky too. LOL Life has just been... yuck, for me.
Good news from the creating front. My next lot is almost finished. A couple rooms upstairs to tidy up and toss some stuff in the basement and it's good to go. Well, then there's taking screenshots and Photoshop jazz, but you get the idea. I've been busy over the holidays and I'm still putting in lots of time at work. Slowly but surely it's getting done.
I don't have any tales from my boring life so this is really short. I haven't put in much game time lately.

Ok,so things turn out quite bad recently-
- making accessories isnt totally "mine" are of creating
- i HAVE TO transfer like 21 GB of data that i have on my pcall not counting game files and program ASAP to get new pc.(So i must trasnafer data tomorrow/the day after tomorrow)
Which leads that i'll only upload:
- gothic clothing set (tomorrow)
- Zazie's simself(day after tomorrow,actually tomorrow but i'll SUBMIT it on the day after tomorrow ;) )
- my cat's simself? :D (the day after after tomorrow :D)
I dunno when i'll get new pc but i know that i have to get ready for those final school exams..
When i'll give my pc to seller i wont be able to play sims...which leads to no creating at all =(
So i dont know when i'll be able to say for sure that i'll keep uploadin stuff frequenty..yet I'll try to keep creating!

TSR, oh how i've missed you!!
Hello TSR family! Happy new year! I have been gone from this site for far too long! My real life was supper stressful this past year as i was attempting to juggle my last college year, family responsibilites, and work all at once! I won't bore any of you with my list of rants but lets just say i am very happy this year is over and done with! I'll be taking the next few months off to focus on staying home with my little one who will soon be off to preschool in a few more months = bittersweet! Since my life will be slowing down to an easier pace i will have more time to play with my beloved simmies and create stories which as some may know is one of my favorite hobbies! I am almost done with the first part of a story i named,"Fragile, precious things." This story focuses on the crossing lives of young rich and famous sims living in the fictional sim version of Los Angeles, CA. 2011 = Bye Bye 2010 Guestbook Entries !
Helloooooo. 2011 is now upon us and every year since i have been a member of TSR, i decide to clear out my guestbook. I appreciate everyones comments in 2010 and over the past 5 years I now look forward to reading more in 2011. Every year i see it as a fresh start even though it does take ages to delete the entries. I've made some wonderful friendships with a few members of TSR and hope to make alot more this year. Thanks to everyone again and 2011 will be another cracking year on TSR.
