Pool mosaic designs

Hi again, I wondered what next to design to make, I thought I'd do some mosaics for the bottom off pools. I love dragons, my son likes manga. I've just uploaded the 2 designs and I say quite chuffed so here goes.

Weather Advisory

Good grief. It's only December 3rd and we've already got a Winter Weathery Advisory here. Yep. We're supposed to get dumped on tomorrow. From midnight tonight til midnight tomorrow. Some 18 hour storm or what not. Oh yea rah. I live in Northern Illinois, North Central Illinois if you really want to be picky. Believe me, we are around here. LOL The weather here absolutely sucks all the time. We go from 110 in the shade to -40 in the sun. And don't forget the ceaseless wind. We all walk sideways here to compensate for the wind. And of course it's worse in winter. Schools get snow days and heat days here. Sometimes it's 20 in the morning and then 80 by lunchtime. How many seasons do you want in one day? OK, enough whining about the weather.

Anyway, the reason I moaned was maybe I'll get snowed in this weekend and be able to work on a lot. LOL IF I keep power. That's a fat IF. I hope to relocate in the next few years. I'm saving up. I was born here so I've been stuck here all my life. I hope to see that change.

So I updated my game and loaded a house to see what all got screwed up. Yep, just as I thought. The butler's car is still there and the butler is deleted. Nice guys. Totally expected it. But I can't cancel the service or hire a new one. The game still thinks she's there even though she went poof. I said screw it and hired a maid to do the cleaning. My family can do the rest. I'm so anal about making my sims responsible my butlers never have much to do anyway, but they sure are nice when there's a baby around and you want to focus on someone else for a change. Just a thought.

My cc still works so no biggie there. I wasn't having half the problems mentioned as fixed so there really wasn't anything to notice as being different.

As you can tell I'm in a rather foul mood today. At least I'm going out with friends tonight and plan to gorge myself with really good food. I can tell I'll hit Dragon Age running again tonight. I can't seem to get my frustration and anger out of my system but I am holding back the urge to build. LOL I've had it for a couple days but I still want to play Dragon Age. I'll stop when I get to one of the sucky parts. And there are many. Some stupid stuff I just don't have the patience to tolerate any more. I've got my save file for Dragon Age II already so I don't care how I play now. It's just a stress release. If I don't want to save the dwarves in Orzammar because it reminds me of Ironforge in World of Warcraft, and is just as ugly, I don't have to. Mwhahahahahahahaha. Dragon Age has way better mages... rogues... and warriors than WoW. WAY better warriors. LOL WoW over complicates everything and it totally kills any ounce of fun one may have had playing. I don't play well with others though. I hate group work. And I'll be damned if I'll trust my life in the hands of some snot-nosed 9 year old brat that thinks they can heal. And then again, I don't HAVE to heal you either. *evil grin* If you're not the tank, my priest pretends you don't exist. At least I'm good at what I do, er, did. I always hated the players that claim to have picked the priest class because "I want to help people". It's not about helping people boy! It's about making complete losers feel like they're way better than they really are and winning, without getting credit for any of it. LOL Right, you be bad man. You didn't lose an ounce of health during that 3 hour dungeon. *cough* thank the priest *cough* Oh don't mind me. I'll take the rear. I can see you better when you die from doing something stupid before I resurrect your sorry butt, again.

Sorry, I'm bitter. The things I do for my kid. Yeah, I played with my kid, and ended up being a foster mother to every teen boy with a headset. I... I... don't want to talk about it.

So, back to sims. I plan to get back to playing again. I might have to start over for some since the patch caused major borkage, but eh, whatever. I like starting over. But I'll go back to dreaming about Cabana Charlie's now... yum...

Slim Sim clothes - Fat Sim clothes

I have noticed that most of the new fashion creations use meshes that make the sim ladies (and even the males) just way too slim. I mean, erm... anorexic, almost. And when I try to find less "pretty" clothes, I run into oversized pieces. Is "normal" not in fashion anymore?

Hi everyone! 

December is here, and it's 21 days left to Christmas! Woooh.. I´m currently working on a nursery/youthroom! Sofar I´ve only made a tent and a molding, a table is done, but has to be mapped. The past days I´ve been working on a t-shirt with a big necl, but dunno yet if I´m going to publish it here or somewhere else... Here's a piccie of what I've got of the set!

Sims 3 Legacy Challenges

Has any one heard of these? It's where you start with one Sim and build their family up for 10 generations. It's the stangest thing I have ever seen. I am actually about to start one, but I can't think of any good last names or any thing cute to put my Sim into. But I am so ready to play the game. Any help would be appreciated. ^^

Hey... after a pretty exhausting summertime I have a bit more leasure time and time to play Sims2, Hurray;-) My little sim family grows every day and I am creating stuff for them (they need so much furniture for there little Simhouse, puhhhh), thats the reason why I am posting so much items *lol*

Right now I am working on an office and a wintergarden/garden stuff (preview comes soon)

I like the peacock deco and chalkboard a lot ;-)

That's a reason to celebrate, so I will make 24 clothes. I don't know if they come up before christmas, but I try.
The clothes will be come up with a new preview design. The old one was old and stuff.

Checking In

Bummer. The DDS plug-in for Photoshop only works for Windows. So... you won't be seeing anything from me that requires that. My copy of Photoshop is on my Mac. No tatoo for you. LOL Ah well. Guess I'll stick to lots and sims and maybe I'll get a decent pattern made with the pattern tool someday.

My weekend wasn't so great so I had to dig out Dragon Age again. But you know what that means. Another lot will be born. That whole connection still baffles me. I can only kill stuff so long. Once I calm down then I can be creative. You really don't want to see what I make when I'm angry. I haven't simmed in days. T'aint safe.

I see there's an update out for sims. I read the much too long list of fixes and noticed puking was in there. It's been adjusted so they vomit at acceptable levels. What? Is vomiting ever acceptable? I'm hoping this means sims won't dribble puke when I'm having conversations with them and my sims won't have to dodge puke puddles every time they go downtown. I DID get one of my sims to do it though. I had him order a Big Mistake drink. He hurled a couple times after drinking it. That doesn't explain why newly generated sims, just walking down the street or standing around are constantly puking. And the list included a fix for butlers autonomously dismissing themselves to follow a celebrity. Huh. I wonder if that's what my butler did. She never did come back. I had to hire another one. I'm glad they tweaked the butler car thing too. That annoys me. I can't wait for that to be gone. What does a butler need a car for anyway? They never leave. Oh wait, to run off to follow celebrities, because they're all really stalkers in a mild mannered butler disguise. Oh that game is shifty.

I see a Mac only fix in there too. Nobody cares about that. It would be nice if EA would fix their code so it stops disabling all their cc, requiring them to reinstall it all every time they want to play. It's been a long time problem. My son has it and he stops playing for long periods of time because of it (he's addicted to custom hair LOL). So EA fixes stuff that isn't an issue and ignores the real issues. I'm sure that makes perfect sense if you're an idiot. Nothing I can do about it except pat my son on his shoulder and hug him when he cries. LOL The life of a Mac gamer. Been there, done that, gave up.

*sigh* As for future endeavors, my monstrous Bridgeport lot has been really well received so I think I will go ahead with my plans to build a lot for that other empty lot on the snobby side of the river and I'd also like to make a nicer cabin to replace the ghetto cabin on the lot by the water. I really like that lot and I don't see why the view is mentioned in the description. The view doesn't suck. Sheesh. Guess it depends what you WANT to look at. Not everyone sees the glass as half empty. There's also that Ayesleigh revamp on the backburner. Anyway, I gots me some plans. Now I just need some time.

Sorry I didn't have better news for y'all. But you know it's coming... eventually. And hey, I'm over 75,000 downloads now. Wowzers. I appreciate all those comments so keep 'em comin'!

Tomb Raider - New Story

So now with the last part of Good vs. Evil published, I've moved onto my new story. Which is based on the Tomb Raider Anniversary video game, which is an awesome game and I highly recommend it!

I've submitted the first chapter of 'Tomb Raider Scion of Atlantis' so it should be up tomorrow, and I absolutely CANNOT wait!!! to see what you all think of it! There has been a LOT of hours put into this story, and I mean A LOT! I spent sooo long trying to get the snapshots just right.

Huge sets coming up!

Because of the delay of giving my pc back to seller and buying new,I'm working on 2 huge sets this december!
Here's sneak-peak on first one(of course,there will be much more outfits,thats what i created in hour or two this night):

Yeps,first one will be a set of various summer outfits!Because i can alpha edit quite alot you'll see various types of outfits in set-things would be easier if i could add more then one external meshes as required-but currently i can only search up them on tsr and some of them are pay here,and you know my 100 % free policy-no pay items being used to create my items :D

So yep,there will be *no,I wont tell you* :P

I'm aware its almost christmas!But this girl had terrible summer and cares about people living in southern hemisphere!:D

About second set..havent started creating it yet but it will be something cozy and christmastastic

Erm ! Submission Area ! Solved ? ? ? Maybe ? ? ?

Last night i managed to upload 9 items? I was shocked and had to wait until now to check whether my upload was successful and they have been approved. Woohooooo!!!

For some reason, i cannot upload my items via the File Server which is VERY frustrating. So messing about last night, i tried to upload them via Browse My Computer option instead.

The only downside to that is, i have to actually click on Edit Set in the upload screen to add items and images rather than do it straight away from the File Server.

Its taking a bit longer but atleast i have found away round it, as i was not use to submitting via the Browse My Computer option, to be honest i don't like using it as i preferred the File Server option as its alot quicker to me.

I do receive another error when using this other option but i ain't got a choice now. I either use it or not submit anything...!! I just have to refresh the page and it takes me back to the beginning of the Submissions Area. I then just click on uploads and my set is there ready to be edited.

This weekend i will be submitting a ticket to try and resolve this issue if i still cannot upload via the File Server at it will be nearly 2 weeks then since the start of this problem. Lets hope someone helps me :(

New creation : the Queen Palm !

New creation, an unpublished palm tree for the sims (To be published Dec 5, 2010) : the Queen palm ! It's a big palm tree with a feathery foliage which does not have to demonstrate any more its decorative value. If you do not possess it, you will be suspect. Attention on investigators. (It's a new mesh created for Sims3. The set will contains different sizes : 4 meters, 6m, 7m, 10m and 13m. I hope you will like this fantastic palm ! In picture : Syagrus romanzoffiana (4m)

Good Vs. Evil Chapter 12

I had planned to have the last chapter published by today but it was unfortunately rejected!! Which I found quite humerous BECAUSE of the reason it was rejected.

I got an email earlier that said it had been rejected due to profanities. Which was strange because I don't remember any swearing in the chapter, mostly because I don't really use it. I just think there's a broader range of words that can better describe a situation. Anyway what happened was when I was writing the chapter in a word document, I was using Dan's name but I couldn't remember his last name or if I'd even mentioned his last name before so I left a few asterix's so that when I proof read it later I would see it and find out what his last name was. Well when I proof read I didn't see it and so it was published as Dan ***, so it seemed like a profanity.

Anyway long story, short, the last chapter will be delayed a day or two. I just submitted it before but it may take a day or two for it to get published.

I've gotten more done than I thought I would in the last week. Still not quite finish with my last to do list, but I'll try to work on that when I finish exams. I'm glad people seem to be enjoying what I've uploaded thus far. There will probably be A LOT more coming after the next two weeks. I did, however, prepare a few things to be released over the next two weeks.

Come mid-December I'm going to begin dabbling with clothing(*crosses fingers*)

In the meantime, I plan to upload a Jourdan Dunn, Sessilee Lopez, Wendell Lissimore, and try to whip up a Gisele Bundgen before Dec.11.

Paolo and Clara Mirabello

What's a town without an owner? .... that's what got me to create Paolo and Clara Mirabello!

Presently available as separate individuals, one could easily try to get them interested in each other!   Who knows, they could actually fall in love and get married too.  I myself am inclined to try it out and see what their siblings would turn out to look like ... but then if I play, there will be no time left to create more Mirabello houses!

So I guess it's best if you would play them and post some screenshots of their siblings .... I'm curious to see what they would look like ;)

Computer Problems

I just wanted to let everyone know that the reason i've not posted any thank you's or comments is that for the past month i've either had probloems with "late night" or my computer, i'm working on the problems and want all those who create know that i am back logged on comments, but have gone back and thanked everything you guys have created, and just so admire alll of you guys so much.

Well, now it going to travel to an another dimension. Guess what dimension. That's right, The Sims 3 Dimension.

The model is decompiled, resized, rotated and corrected. And is currently in a perfect condition in The Sims Resource Workshop.

It has two patterns. Pattern A and Pattern B.

Pattern A is the Hat.

Pattern B is the Ghost itself.

It has three different colour variants:

1: A is "Merlin" - B is "Powder Ash" (Colours is based on the main textures)

2: A is "dark Blue" - B is "Dodger blue" (Colours is based on a screenshot. See above)

4: A is "Burnt Umber" - B is "Cosmic" (Colours is taken from my insanity)

Q: Where did you get those crazy names for the colours?

Do you like Caravans?

My next set will be a whole Caravan Set. I've build a Caravan lot for Sims 2 (some photos) and it's really nice to create my own objects now for Sims 3. I'm working on this since weeks now and I hope that I can finish it till christmas or at least this year. There are still a lot of objects on my todo-list...

This set will include some objects with new functions:

• working bunkbeds
• dresser (underneath a bed)
• a shower where sims can walk through (UPDATE: finished yet, pic below)
• double bed, that you can place on a wall (UPDATE: finished yet, pic below)

I have to thank Inge Jones, Riccinumbers, Shino&KCR, Angela and Murano who helped me with all these new things and JSR_Julie for being around all the time and give me some helpful tips. And I hope she will be my beta-tester if the set is done. Thank you. :-)

Hey Guys,

Yes, I'm still failing at submitting. I'm sure it isn't that hard, but, I'm just not very good at this sort of thing. -.- 

BUT.. The 6 week school holidays are coming up really soon (woo hoo) so, I should hopefully be able to successfully submit my work (fingers crossed). It's been hard finding time to work on my sims stuff lately because I'm committed to my studies, but thankyou to those of you who have bookmarked me and those of you who have been waiting for my creations.

For those of you who are looking for more downloads, if you haven;t already, I suggest you check out 'ILikeMusic640'. Her creations are AMAZING and look very life-like. Most of her creations are for subscribers, but, she does have some really good free stuff too.
