TSR Submission Area Issues today?
Has anyone else experienced issues today, trying to upload anything via the above?
I keep getting the following messages when i click on Browse the File Storage on the server:
(1) cb_browseForFilesOnServer: doh and then when i click on OK it brings up the below message;

the latest scoop on what I'm planning.
First, let me start by saying thank you to everyone who is reading my legacy. over 400 views already and I have barely even gotten started.
Also, thank you's go out to all the wonderful people who have booked marked me. that means a lot to me. much appreciated.
for those who haven't looked recently I do have a new up date to my legacy. just added in the last few days. forgot to post it here for you all to enjoy. sorry I don't have the link for you all right now but I know you can all find it with ease.
and finally. my stories. I'm planning on putting them in the forums where I can add screen shots. simply because now that I am working an 8 hr job, and still finding time for all the volunteer work I do, I would rather be playing the game then simply writing about it. and I have taken some almost wonderful screen shots. I am working on improving my skills with that. so I have been taking screen shots of my other sims. which got me thinking...
I have to admit that I am enjoying writing my legacy. it has kind of a rough start, writing wise that is. but now that I have gotten over the worse part of my nerves I am falling into a more comfortable rythem and really thinking it through. so the quality of my writing is getting back on par, as well as some resemblance of a plot. It is quite a challange writing a story around what happens in a game. even if you have some idea as to the direction you want to take the story, well, sometimes the game takes it some where else.
I think it is the fun of writing my legacy that has got me wanting to move my stories to the forum. I also have been feeling guilty that some of you may have gotten hooked on them and have been left hanging. I think perhaps some of you would like to see what my sims actully look like. I hope that any creator out there who sees one of there wonderful masterpieces are able to smile at how fabulouse they have helped my sims become.

Neighbourhood Litter
I'm sure many builders have them. Lurking in the deepest darkest recesses of their neighbourhoods. I'm talking about those long forgotten, unloved, half built lots. You had such high hopes for them when you started building them. Full of enthusiasm, they were going to be the best lots anyone had ever seen, then something better came along!
Take for instance this seemingly lovely cottage:
I had it all planned out in my head. It was going to sit next to a pretty little stream with a little arched stone bridge with lots of trees and flowers and rocks, so on and so forth. The reality was I was left with a huge lump of land at one side, a pathetic little trickle of water and a bridge that looked so out of place it could have occupied a lot all by itself!
Interest gone, I started on my next project...
Nothing so complicated about this lot, it was just going to be a nice family home. It was coming along nicely when I just had a sudden lapse in concentration and poof...that was the end of that!
I managed to make a little more progress with this one. I was in frenzied build mode until I got the main structure up and then the distractions started. I found I kept coming back to this one inbetween other projects and just chipping away at it.
It's still ongoing now. Maybe it just might get finished in time for sims 4 but I wouldn't put money on it!
Finally we come to this victorian home. It's been lonely and forgotten in my neighbourhood for at least 6 months, maybe more. Whether it was the colour scheme I took a dislike to or wasn't happy with the roofline I just can't remember. I don't hate it enough to demolish it but there's something about it that puts me off finishing it!
So there you have it, the litter that's currently cluttering up my building neighbourhood. Will any of these lots ever see the light of day? Perhaps. I haven't yet flattened them so there's still hope and I'm sure it won't be long before there's a few more ready to join them.

New Screenshots
Greetings. I've gutted my screenshots here at TSR and uploaded a whole new batch from my vampire's life. If you read my blog some should seem familiar to you. I had to lighten quite a few since vampy stuff goes on at night mostly. The clubs and bars are pretty dim too.
Also, I have made progress on my Bridgeport lot. I know, I know. It's taking forever. I polished off several rooms last night. I'd really like to use it for a new sim I want to start so I'm pushing myself to get it together. I have to play Dragon Age in order to find the creative drive to build and decorate, but whatever works. If I play sims then I never want to stop to build and make stuff for the game. I just want to play and play and play... But if I play a game other than sims then I wish I was simming and thus I get the urge to build and make things for my game, as well as play... later... after the lot is done. LOL Got it? Sure, clear as mud.
I don't have much else to report right now so enjoy the piccies and I'll catch y'all later!

Hi everybody! I decided to write this blog entry to tell how happy I am to become a Sims 2 Select Artist here :).
I've dreamed about this since I posted my first creation here, which wasn't very good :D, but I've polished my skills, so to say, and managed to get this promotion :). I decided to continue creating for sims 2, even though most people now play sims 3, because I enjoy it more. I hope you enjoy my creations in your games as well :).
I want to thank everybody who downloaded my creations, to those who also commented (I appreciate every message any of you write) and to my friends, especially to Topaz :) for their support.
I hope you'll like my future sets as well.

Hello everyone! I am sure you have already noticed that I am not as creative as I used to be, but I have a lot of study, because I am nearly ending my Uni. So I have to focus on this in a first place, leaving my dear sims behind. Of course it doesn't mean I want to leave TSR or stop creating, it only means that I will publish new things when I find more free time. I already have few new houses and sets but they aren't finished yet, so please be patient :). I just hope that rest of sim players have much more time for simming than me!

Presenting my new world, Pandora
Hi everyone, I am proud to present my first new world. Pandora, for your game pleasure. This beautiful fantasy world is a lush tropical island with rolling hills, island cliffs, several waterfalls, (5) and plenty of beach area. It is delightfully alive with the sounds of the falls, the crashing waves of the ocean and the many sea gulls that frequent the beaches. There is also a tiny companion island off the main island that would be suitable for added game play if desired.
This gorgeous world was inspired by the movie, Avatar, but was created according to my vision of such a fantasy hood, and of course, adapted for the needs of my wonderful Navi Sims race that was created to live there. The architectural style of the homes and community lots were built to accommodate the tropical weather of the island. They are designed to catch the full breeze of the ocean and utilize the beautiful views of the island landscape. Each home has an amazing visa view of the beach and ocean. Since the Navi are a fun loving people, the homes are built with lots of color and pattern in their decor. Due to limited materials on the island, the structures of the island take on a uniformity style and design. All the homes have a pool, a garden area and some have fresh water ponds.This island paradise is not your usual game play. There are no cars or modes of transportation other than walking. There is no electricity, so the island homes are lit with oil lamps and torches. Of course, due to the limitations of the game, certain electrical appliances were used such as the stove and fridge. Plus, communication with the cell phone is unavoidable.
The Navi race was loosely based on the Navi of Avatar. Again, due to the limitations of the game, they were created according to my vision and the help of TSR artists. These amazing people are fishermen, artists and gardeners. They all love the outdoors and will be able to enjoy and explore the full island terrain. They can enjoy many pleasures at the Palace Square, the Palace Fishing Hole, the Palace Cemetery and even at the Palace Rest Area. Since there are no highways on this island, there are pathways for the Sims to travel by foot to any destination or they may opt to take some shortcuts. The island is very small, so the Sims can travel easily about the island in a short period of time.

If you chose Pandora.With Lots, all the residential lots will be unfurnished, except for the Palace and the community lots, which are fully furnished and ready for immediate game play. The world files are very small, so downloading should not take long.
All the world lots will be available for download at TSR, if you wish to get the lots completely decorated and furnished. The four Navi Sims will also be offered on December 4th, if you chose to download them.
I hope you will have an interest in my new world. It has taken many months of diligent work and laborious building to develop this amazing new hood. I hope you will find as much pleasure in this unique hood as I have in creating it.

Uploading Sims to TSR made easy
This is much easier then you think.. Hope this helps you..
Ok lets do a step by step walk through.
1.Sharing your sim
**** After creating your sim and while still in the create a sim screen***
down in the lower left corner you will see a small picture of your sim, on that small picture is a round button. click on that, and you will see a selection come up. choose the second (looks like an arrow with a star on top). This will open up the share box. Here it will ask for the name (Name your sim what you choose) and it will ask for a description ( can put what you like here. or nothing at all). Then just click the check mark. Wait for it to finish with the share.
*** if you have already made your sim and are playing the game*****
Just take that sim in front of a mirror and choose change appearance. Once that screen has loaded, follow the instructions as above starting with the small round button on small picture of sim in lower left corner.
2.So thats all you need to do as for sharing.. so lets get to the part of uploading to The Exchange.
Open your sims launcher. be sure to log in. Once logged in, click on the link on the left of the launcher window that says "uploads". There you will see the sim (Sims, Lots, clothes.. whatever you have shared) you have just shared. click on the small white box to select that sim. Then below click on the "upload" button. Thats it.. it will load to your sims3 studio and the sims exchange.
(((please note)) not all items including sims will upload to the exchange if you have some custom items with it.
3. Uploading to TSR
Log in on TSR. once you have logged in, at the very top of the page (where it says HI to you) you will see a link called "Dashboard" click on this link.
Then to the far right you will see the subject "statistics". look a below that where you see submissions. left click on the word submissions and open link in a new tap. This will open the page TSR-Submissions.
click on the tap (start). (there you will find more instruction and such but lets keep this easy) go down to upload files. choose "upload from my computer" then click "next step".
Then choose browse. (now this is where a lot of people get lost.)
(to find your files) click on documents - then click on Electronic arts - then sims3 - scroll down the folders until you see the folder named "Exports" and then open that file. inside that file you will see the items (and sims) you have shared. choose the upload (in this case the sim. you will know what one by the name you gave the sim) Then click open (is located to the lower right corner of window). Now you should be back at the upload files page at TSR. click the link "upload file"
THATS IT.. easy ..
Once you have done this you will choose the uploads tap at the top of the screen to continue working with your uploaded items.

Hello everyone sorry havent sumited anything lately but my computer finally died !! I have gone almost a month without a computer which means a month without siming that has been the hard part since I am addicted to creating stuff for this wonderful site.
So thanks to my amazing parents they gave me my Christmas pressent early which happend to be a computer.. Woo Hoo thanks mom and dad!!!!! So that means that by this weekend I am hoping to have several walls, floors and maybe a couple houses published..
I look forward to creating again I have had a lot of time to think of many things and cant wait to get them to you. So I will say bye for now so I can get to work.

Just a bug I think, as usual *sigh*
In my last blogentry I mentioned I had some trouble. Well, I tried to remove the bar from Edit town and replace it with a new one. It didn't help at all, they where still stuck there. So I removed the bar again and also removed the actual 'lot' too and to my surprise I saw some small 'ants' where it used to be. When I got in closer I saw this!
All sims still stuck! So in the end I deleted the whole thing and started a new neighbourhood!
Ha, ha...
But despite this, I really enjoy this EP.

Wow ... what can I say aside of THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH.
Some weeks ago I had NO idea of how to create new paintings or rugs or anything else. I was a registered member of TSR since I think 2006 and always admired the wonderful work here on this site. And I always wanted to become a creator, too.
Since the end of July 2010 I uploaded about 200 submissions and reached more than 150,000 downloads. And now I'm Select Artist. Oh my God, unbelievable.
Without you ... all the downloaders all over the world I wouldn't be. I'm very very very glad that so many of you like my mostly very very colourful rugs and patterns and now clothes. Also the work of my daughter Aimee (8), her first pattern attempts and her cute little house were downloaded a lot. She's always more than proud when I tell her that she has again some more downloads.
So thank you very much for all your support since July 2010.
We - me and Aimee - appreciate every single feedback.

How rude!
I dare say, how rude! Just plain rude! These sims, who do they think they are? They need to be slapped around and taught some basic manners. Rude.
I know, I know. You're wondering what I'm going off about now. Well, my butler walked out on me. She just... left one night. No goodbye, no reason given, just *POOF*. She made a getaway in her fancy schmancy butlermobile and that was the end of it. I guess $1200 wasn't enough for her. I guess a deluxe private suite to sleep and bathe and have quiet time just wasn't good enough for the witch. I suppose free drinks and a giant garden weren't anything worth writing home about either. Working for a level 8 mixologist ain't bad. But nooo, she had to leave. And she didn't even say goodbye to the kids. Just left in the dark of night. Now she has some ridiculous top hat on and sparkly dress suit thingy. I invited her to one of the kids' birthday parties. What a snot.
Fine. BE that way. I promptly hired another butler. Another woman. She spazzes less over working for celebrities. So far, so good. She could work on her mothering skills though. Change the baby and feed the baby would be nice. Do laundry once in awhile. Maybe repair something. They really do little to nothing. Honestly.
OK, rant over. Phew. Unfortunately I wasn't around much this weekend so I didn't get my lot done. I'm kind of bummed. I didn't think I'd be gone all weekend but stuff came up. I have a bunch of screenshots to upload too. Didn't get that done. I hope next weekend is better. But I'm stuck at work all week first. *sigh* Woe is me.
I did play my vampire a bit at the end of last week, before I got busy. All the kids are growing up. I had 3 birthday parties in a row. They were all a blast. Tons of people come. I invite my list of people and then others come with them or just show up. Being a mixologist really helps the fun meter. At one of the parties I made a boo boo. When I clicked on the cake to pick who was to blow out the candles my computer froze for just a second and then the list was gone. Oops. Who did I pick? Turns out Jett Atkins blew out the candles meant for my toddler and progressed to young adult. Oh well. He had to be close anyway. He's been a teen since I started playing. I didn't know you could age ANYONE. I can't change my name but I can command anyone on my lot to age transition. Huh.
I'll leave you with that nugget and be off. I'm sure I'll have more to tell when I scrounge up some time to play.
The trouble I had with The Sims 3 Late Night
Hello peeps, in the last blog I wrote, I was debating on buying the Sims 3 and finishing a paper. Well I finished that paper and have sinced graduated from college with my bachelor's degree. Yeah for me! Anyways, I also bought the Sims 3 and all the expansion packs. Now her is the trouble that I experienced with the sims Late Night and I hope that this helps someone or maybe it won't.
So I bought The Sims 3 Late Night and loaded it onto my computer! That's when the trouble started. It seems that the new update for the game has done something to the sims 3 game launcher. Everytime I click out of it or click to play the game I get an error message that the launcher is not responding. So that was my first problem. Once I finally started to play the game it would crash after a minute. By this time I am frustrated and angry that I bought a game that I couldn't play. I decided to unistall all of my sims 3 games and the original sims 3 to see if that would fix it. It didn't and I can't even count on my fingers how many times I unistalled all my games and reistalled them again. By this point I am hoping mad so I go online and research and fin out that there are many people that are having the same problems with the game that I am having. I look up ways to fix the problem through recommendations that other people used to fix their game and still nothing works. I finally try one more fix, which was updating my graphics driver but it was still having problems. At this point I have given up. I turned off my computer and didn't turn it on for a couple of day.
One the third day after I had purchased the sim 3 late nigh I decided that it was never going to work, so I was going to unistall everything, however, I decided that I would try to play my game one more time and guess what.... It worked! As soon as I went in to play some random family I saved imideately, exited out, restarted the whole thing then went back in to play that family and I no longer had anymore problems playing the game. I still get the error about the sims 3 launcher but I just click out of the error message and play my game.
After going through all that I went through, I figure one of those things I used to fix it worked ( though I'm leanging more towards the updating of my driver) so now I love the new expansion pack and have been playing it nonstop since it stoped crashing. So like I said in the beginning I hope this helps anyone who may have had trouble with the new expansion like I did, if nothing else know that you were not alone. :)

I just wanted to thank everyone who commented and downloaded Kahootz and my Paintings. I am so new at creating and I am having a blast! I wish I knew how to do more but I am sure it will come -- I know I will figure it all out eventually. I now find myself creating more and playing less. I bought Sims 3 for my Xbox the day it came out and I haven't even opened it yet -- and the Wii version is coming this week -- I have lots to catch up on for sure!
I have another very bright Dance Club in the works and I have uploaded alot of paintings which you will get over the next few weeks. I have always loved Patrick Nagel's work and I have many pieces of his Art in my Condo. It's such a shame that he died so young quite some time ago -- he was simply amazing! i also love Jack Vettriano and I will be making his collection as well. If you have any suggestions for paintings or if you have a picture that you would like made into a painting for your game, please message me and I will be happy to make it for you. Even though I've had Late Night for a couple of weeks, I am only now getting the time required to check it out. I will most likely do what I do, and rebuild EVERYTHING,but only because I can't help myself. That's just my favorite part of the game. So... Off I go.
