Oct. 30th, Kentworth Victorian Dressing Table
Finally! The Kentworth Vanity Dresser/Dressing Table set is scheduled for publication on October 30th. The set features an elegant vanity dressing table with lots of room (slots) for cosmetics, perfumes, and other clutter and it's cloned from a mirror! Sims can gussy up, change their appearance and do other mirror menu option functions.
The set also includes 2 table lamps, 2 theatrical makeup cases, 2 decorative hand mirrors sets and a priceless necklace, The Heart of the Ocean, which is rumored to have a mysterious past! LOL!
One day, when I have lots of free time, I hope to create a collection inspired by the 1997 movie, Titanic. The movie is a visual feast for the eyes, I just love the set designs!
Take Care and Happy Simming!

Back to Work
Alas, I sit here on my lunch hour, listening to my freezer meal thaw in the inadequate device we call a microwave here. It can't even pop popcorn. It's pathetic. But, it does heat up my lunches so I guess I can't complain too much. My vacation is over and I'm back to work. *sniffle*
While taking a break, however, I started a sim for the sole purpose of checking out the firefighter profession. I'm gettin' around to making sims with one goal in mind to delve into the aspects of the game more thoroughly. So this guy was made for fighting fires and being all studly. Grrrrrr. Just like my adventure sim, it wasn't long before a girl caught his eye despite his time consuming career. It actually worked out well. They ran off to France (she wanted to go) for the proposal and wedding like most of my sims. I just like it, so there. Um... oh yeah, she stays home so he can run off at all hours saving ignorant sims that play with matches. They just had their first baby. OMG is he CUTE! I really should upload my sims. Fantastic babies! Anyway, the hours for this job are fab and he ran up the ladder like his own butt was on fire. I was at the top of the career in no time. Never have I had such an easy time. He's gotten all sorts of awards, telephone calls thanking him, his own fire engine and alarm for home, and countless other perks. I'm waiting to see if the hidden firefighter trait shows up in his offspring. They'll have lots so I hope at least one gets it. Oh, was that a spoiler? Too bad.
Anyway, the reason I started to go on about this sim is I put him and his gal in my Ayesleigh lot. Good thing too. That fire engine fills up the driveway nicely. I made some minor structural changes so the roof would be better. It gave me a headache making the lot and it still bothers me. So I liked what I did, change some fixtures, colorschemes, exterior colors, and landscaping. Basically I added my own magic touch to the lot. I've said it before and I'll say it again, my first attempt usually follows the floorplans I picked out closely and if there is an exterior photo I'll match that too. Then the good part comes once I get in the game and start living in the lot. I find all these ways to hopefully make it even better. So then I do a more developed version. I haven't done my version of Ayesleigh yet and I think that might be up next. I've played in the lot before but never got inspired to improve it. Must've been my vacation this time. I noticed my creativity level skyrocketed once I got out of the office. Just one more reason to quit. I need to figure out what to do for money first.
I've also come across some plans that have some odd, but neat, features. I thought the open staircase to the basement in the floorplans of my Eleanor lot was unusual. The lot is mediocre otherwise. Just a small house, nicely done, but that one feature intrigued me. Most odd. So maybe some lots will come through that offer some odd features. My problem is time, as always.
I have been reading comments left on my creations. I thank everyone for those. I can't remember who I've responded to and who I haven't so I'll just have to give a lump sum of gratitude for now. It's so embarrassing.
I better go. Got work to do ya know.

Brudes Hill
This is my latest property based on a home my Uncle owned. I tryed to incorporate a modern feel with a traditonal look. Again i've noticed that having a pretty looking garden adds a lot to the property so I paid attention to that.

The house itself has 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms so it'd be perfect for family life. It has a spacious living area with a large kitchen and diner. I also added on a conservatory at the rear for extra space.
Tomorrow I plan to have a day away from The Sims to spend with my partner but no doubt ideas will be buzzing around my head. I'm thinking about taking my doggy on loooong walk so that I can take notice of the homes surrounding me in reality!
Hope you like my work so far! xo
SA Again!
What a pleasant surprise when I've got invited to become SA also for The Sims3! I must say a big thank you to all of you who downloads my stuff, to people who helped me to improving my creating skills and/or gave me incentive to keep on creating, like Simromi, Skystars, Angela, Cyclonesue, Riccinumbers, AnoeskaB, Annasims, Lianaa, Wolfspryte, and of course to TSR staff!
Thank you all so much!
Ok, ok, no more talking...let's work! ;)
New Story Goal!
Hey all,
Okay so I'm heading up to Sydney for a hopefully relaxing holiday with my family on Thursday for cup weekend. Not the main point however, I am aiming to have finished my stories before I leave. So that's the final chapter of 'Good Vs. Evil' and 'Escape from Paradise' as well as the last 3 chapters of my 'Tomb Raider' story that I haven't published yet but will in the next few days. :)
So *fingers crossed* that it all happens and I can hear or well 'read' what you all think about them.
Hope you have/had a great weekend
Adios xox
Petite Cottage
Hey all!
I'm so glad i'm on holiday, my Sims have never seen me so much! Ahahaha.
I've made 2 lots today but i'm most proud of my little cottage! It's the first house in which I used a house plan. I'd always planned to try using one but never really saw any in which i'd attempt but today i decided to have a little look around and come across a simple looking design so this is my attempt and, to be honest, it turned out rather nicely!

It's a couple orientated home with one bedroom. I tried to keep the garden quite simple which I think would be realistic if it was a modern, young couple that was to move in. I decided to give it a cottage-y feel on the interior but still kept it quite grand.
I love it!
I'm planning to play about again with plans tomorrow, hopefully something a little more challenging though!
G'night! xo

Snobby Clobber Cleaners
Woohoo! That's me on holiday from work for a whole week! So excited and so glad to finally get some good ol' simming time!!

My last upload was my Snobby Clobber Cleaners. I updated the laundrette that was in Twinbrook (town that came with ambitions) so I thought I'd upload it here for you guys! Dependant on how well it goes down I may upload the other things i've updated.
I've always kind of had a secret hate of EA made lots, especially community as they have no personality! I've updated the majority of the community on my game so it only seems right that I share.
Give me a little comment to tell me what you think! :)
Keep you up-to-date
Hey everyone. No, I'm not going to start writing again just yet, because I've got alot of concerts, after school projects, reharsals, adutions, ect., ect.
I have written the next part of The Telescope, but I haven't got the pictures and I know they're going to be hard to find. Oh, but I do have some exciting news about why this might take a while to finish.
At school today, a proffesional author (I'm not sure if you have read any of her books, but her name is Vivian Vande Velde. she wrote the books Remembering Raqueal (reaaaally good book!!), Stolen, Now You See It..., There's A Dead Person Following My Sister Around, and a ton others. here's her website: http://www.vivianvandevelde.com/bookLists.cfm?BookCategory=3 ) talked to all students who had an A in Literature (Yaaaaay im special! And in advanced literature! :D) about her books, making books, ect., and while she was talking, she came told us about a publishing company who publishes books written by people 18 and under. As soon as she said that, my adreanilne pumped in and I started thinking about the book I just started writing, Cooper Island. I was thinking of maybe puting it on TSR, but it'd be a lot of work-even more work than The Telescope!-because it involves a plane and a plane crash. (You can probably guess where my story has gone with this, but I tried to add originally with to it, so don't judge me!) I know I'm being ambitious, but I am going to give this all a shot. And don't ask me for the name of that publishing company because I don't know the name. She's sending my school library a list of publishers like that and I'll try to get anyone whose interested in that the names.
So yes, I'm very very busy now but I will try to squeez in as much time as possible for TSR.
Thank you so so so SOO much for being patient and being understanding in this.
You are all so awesome. :)

More than 1 M downloads!
Thank you all for downloading my stuff! It's been a pleasure designing especially for the male sims :D I'll keep posting really cool stuff so stay tuned!
Louis Vuitton Inspired Beauty Pumps!!!
Louis Vuitton inspired "Beautypumps!" . It's really expensive in real and it's high fashion. New season, and famous people's choice!
It's not classic pumps look. It'll make your sims cute and smaller, high heels, ribbons and new pattern.
Would you want to download it for your sims? It looks really good with formal dress also good in everyday clothes.

Landra
Yes, Landra is up and ready for downloading. I think it's the last of my small lot floorplans. If I find more I'll surely do them. I really think this one came out well. For such a small lot it offers enough space for a family. You can always lop on another floor or build out a breezeway in back to add in some basement stairs. There's room in the yard for a garage if you want one. Instead of a color theme I stuck with neutrals and earthtones. No pink or blue. A little yellow in the master bedroom but that sort of falls into the earthtone category for me. Maybe you think the wallpaper and floors are garish. I was experimenting with the palettes and colors. I like to find uses for the ugly stuff EA gives us. I mean really, would you put those patterns in your house in their original colorschemes? God no! Some are completely worthless but some are worth fussing with to get a decent color palette so they can be used and not make your eyes bleed.
Alas, my vacation is almost over. Today is officially it. Then the weekend and I'm back to the grind on Monday. I thought I'd have time to create more but I was out and about a lot more than I planned and the weather has been so nice. A rarity for Northern Illinois. We actually HAD fall this year. Oftentimes we only have two seasons here. Winter and summer. And it's not odd to have them both in the same day. I'm not kidding. Just a week or so ago we were swinging 40 to 50 degrees during the day. 30s in the morning with frost and 80s by early afternoon. You actually have to dress for two seasons. It stinks. You do have to follow the weather here closely because it is so odd. The farmers have been blessed with a beautiful harvest this year and I do hope they get their pokey butts off my roadways soon.
Ah, as for future plans... I dunno. I had really hoped to start on patterns over my vacation but it didn't happen. Nor did creating worlds. I want to dabble in that too. Sure, I can download what others have done, but I wanna learn to do it myself! That's just how I am. I crave to learn new things and you can't really gripe about something authentically unless you've experienced it yourself. I'll keep doing lots of course. That's my forte anyway. Always has been. Someday I hope to do a really fancy, impressive, impractical lot that will never be used because it's too ornate and messed up architecturally to actually use. That's so not me. If I'm not going to use it I don't make it. Period. If I had time to kill, to really explore building mechanics, eh, maybe. But I have to choose between throwing caution to the wind and making something that will be useful in my game with the limited free time I have. And honestly, EA provides me with more than enough stuff to just sit in my hood and look at. I can at least save the planet and give everyone something useful. Call me crazy. I know, I'm such the rebel. *eyeroll*
I guess I'll leave you for now. I don't have much to say that would interest you and I'd rather be playing. I started a firefighter sim the other day and he's been a blast. Woo! Woo! Woo!

Why I hate lacking feedback in a help forum
Sometimes I like to give advice by posting in the help section of the forum. Probably it's worth a separate blog entry why I am doing it, because IMHO this is the one thing you shouldn't do if you're going for easy kudos or mass production. Maybe I want to help, maybe I want to keep sharp on my knowledge, or is it only for showing off?! Honestly, I do not know for sure. The explanation I like best is based on something I saw in a signature of some help forum moderator years ago. I hope this translates well into English: "Do not pay back, pay forward!", meaning if you get helped, return the favour by helping not the same person, but the next one in line in need of help. What a cool idea!
Posting an answer to a problem thread in the help sections takes time. You can't fire away a "great, I like it" and be done with it, but you have to understand the problem, check the facts, look up some details, maybe even try something yourself before giving it as advice, and then you have to put it into words that leave not much room of misunderstanding. Most of the time it's an iterative process, too, because you have to verify some details the OTC (original thread creator) didn't mention. Oh, that's another topic worth of a blog entry. Some people just write "my game doesn't work. I need help" without as much as giving a clue about the circumstances. Anyway, what's important here is that answering to a problem thread usually involves some kind of obligation to walk through the solution process over several postings, too, so you have to check back at the forum every now and then.
Which means: helping involves time and implies an obligation. In an ideal world, the problem thread finishes with a "thanks, this or that worked" or at least a "no, that didn't solve my problem, but thanks anyway".Such endings have the advantage that other people reading it know whether something worked, too. People with the same problem can search the forum months later and learn about right (and wrong) ways to solve their problem without starting at point zero again.
Unfortunately, in the real world most threads finish with an advice and the OTC is never heard again. This is not specific to my advices, but a general behaviour. I hate it. Not even the person that gave the advice learns whether his time was well spent.
A short while ago I answered a question about network connectivity problems at the TSR General PC help forum. It was not very Sims-specific, but as the problem description was quite detailed, I offered some advice, including some hints on what the OTC should check. That took me maybe 15 minutes of my life. The OTC never wrote back. This time I got curious. After two weeks or so I used Google to check if the OTC had posted his question somewhere else as well. It turned out he had. Google came up with more than hundred different forums he had asked the same question word by word (copy and paste is cheap) over the course of a week! I checked only a few of those hits, but it seems about a third of the forums had a reply (often with additional questions, too) and the OTC never replied once to any advice giver.
The strange thing was he posted in some German forums, too, but with the english text. Did he expect an answer there? And he posted a few dozen of his identical question each day, several days in a row. That doesn't sound like a spambot either. Why would someone do this? Imagine 100 different forums having this thread, each causing one guy to spend 15 min for an answer, and you come up with 25 hours wasted on helping someone who didn't care to check the replies or comment on them. Lacking feedback shows lacking manners sometimes, I think.
I have a poll for this topic, too.
Pieces of Me Story Finished
Upon posting chapter 20 of pieces of me, I forgot to include that it was indeed the final chapter of the story, I want to send a big thank you to everyone who read the story and enjoyed it, I appreciate it very much! I am now in the middle of working on a few new stories for you all so keep a look out for those to come soon!

What a fantastic experience visiting this resource. Fabulous artists, fabulous creations and excellent tutorials. I feel so spoilt.
Taking It Easy
Yes! I'm on vacation and loving it! The weather here has been awesome and I've been out and about enjoying it. I've actually been gone much more than I planned but I still managed to whip up a lot for all you dedicated simmers. I've submitted it so now we just wait to see if it gets approved.
I don't have much to tell. I've been relaxing and going to various family doings and a lot of shopping. Not all fun, but the good outweighs the bad in this case. I've knocked a few things off my To Do list. I thought I'd get more done while I was off but I must be enjoying myself too much. LOL Too bad. I deserve this.
I wish my boss would've picked next week for my vacation so I could have more time to dig into Late Night. Ah well. Hopefully letting her pick when I take off will keep her happy.
I'll let you all think about my new lot and I'm going to get back to being a slug. Aaahhh...
Occasionally Yours
So that poll on my minisite ... it's gone now. Primarily because I took a look at the results, and the voting was an emphatic 4 to 1 that I should be providing you all with a bonkers sequel. Second place went to "give us something new," so I do hope that The Stones has provided you with a seasonable dose of the "something new," as I'll be finishing that story next weekend, after I've become more familiar with Late Night.
Now, onto the point of the blog. The working title of the sequel series is Occasionally Yours. I have no solid details beyond the fact that Holden Wozny has in fact become a firefighter, and a rather popular one at that. Gwen has also found success with a musician's career, though she is beginning to be overwhelmed by the constant demands of performing and fans. In addition, there is a third roommate involved now--and he seems to have some rather strange hobbies that regularly attract the attention of the police. Hmm.

... ha. Anyway, that in and of itself is fairly silly. Fortunately, RatRaceRob and I have been in conspirational talks to inflict our characters on each other--his Jesse Simanski seems to like Miss Glover, and well, Jesse's such a charming young man when he sings about those photographs he likes to collect! So this new series is all but guaranteed to provide your daily mininum requirement of crazy, and you can continue to enjoy the foolishness you have come to expect when you hear the name "spladoum"!
... what's that? When's it coming out? ... oh. Umm. Is that my cell phone? I gotta go. Ask Rob! :P
Select Artist debut!
It is awesome to be a Select Artist for TSR. I am very grateful and thankful. Thank you to all those who have wished me well and supported my work here. Well, enough of that. I gotta get back to work on my first official lot as an SA. Bye for now:)

New Poll
I've uploaded a new poll to my minisite, which I'm hoping many of you will take part in. I've been, for a while, dabbling in a bit of everything I know how to. I think I would like to focus on one thing in particular, but I'm curious what you all think I do best...and what you think I should focus on creating. So, please...take part!
L.B.D.2
My latest set is the follow up to a set I created three years ago called L.B.D. My new set L.B.D.2 includes six more little black cocktail dresses, again all accessorised with seamed stockings, jewellery and sexy red fingernails.

Two of the dresses are base game compatible, one requires University, one requires Nightlife and two require Chriko's beautiful ShortBallGown mesh. This was originally available from 2-f0r-u.de but, as this site has sadly been down for some time, I have included this mesh in the download.
All dresses are available for adults and young adults and can be found under formal wear. In addition, I have also categorised the single sleeved dress as everyday wear.
Up but not running yet
Sorry I haven't answered PM's or guest book messages. I have had computer issues. It is up and running but I still have a lot of things to reinstall. But at least now I can communicate. This week I will be releasing some new meshes. And Some are for Halloween! I hope everyone is doing well!
50,000 downloads
50,000 downloads. In 11 days. Wow! I'm glad you like my creations! I have 3 more kid group clothing to upload before I move on to other ages. I'm not much for words so... thanks is all!
Don't know how... again
TSR is really difficult) Finally I got how to upload my creations at this site... But now... How can I sreate a set... omg... I just don't get it... Read the instruction... Many times... Don't work (((
Who it is and why I have a New account
Hello It is maltesers everyone and the reason why I have a new account is because I forgot my password and I'd never be able to remember it again :D
Featured lot
It's an unbelievable honor to have my fifth lot (Modern Passion) as a featured creation! This is not too shabby for a guy that started building in June of this year. It's exciting to see your creativity be accepted by people from around the world. Thank you all, for your kind comments and words of encouragement. And for clicking the little heart, showing your appreciation. And last but not least, thank you for downloading my lots. I hope you get endless joy from them. I sure get endless joy creating them. Take care all.
