The Silver Family (redux)
The Silver family made their fortune, oddly enough, from copper rather than silver. However, though they were extremely wealthy, none of them had ever had political aspirations before. That all changed when Gertrude Silver, the current matriarch and head of the Silver family, was appointed to serve out the last months of a city councilman's term in office after he resigned to run for mayor (he lost). Though she didn't immediately begin seeking political office, she became a familiar face first down in City Hall, and later at the state capitol.
It was while she was working in a senator's office that she first met her future husband, a young corporal who was receiving an award from the governor. The two met, fell in love, and corresponded and dated for a year and a half before the corporal--now a sergeant--finally asked Gertrude to marry him. She said yes, and they were wed.
For a time, all was wedded bliss. While he was deployed and reassigned several times, he was home often enough to get their family started: six boys, all roughly two years apart in age. Gertrude raised them to the best of her ability, frequently declining new appointments in the halls of power to be a good mother to her young children. She loved her sons, but she had a feeling...just a feeling...that her husband didn't feel the same way. She also had a feeling...actually more like a suspicion...that her husband was being less than faithful to her, but she kept quiet because that was what a wife was expected to do in those days. Still...
All of that changed when her husband was wounded in the line of duty and was forced to retire, accepting an honorable discharge from the military. Rather than deal with his depression and frustration all by herself, she urged him to channel his energy into political office. To his surprise, he turned out to be a rather popular politician, and the political savvy he picked up from her--which Gertrude had gleaned herself from watching behind the scenes--quickly had him going places.
Eventually, once her oldest son was able to supervise his brothers without needing supervision himself, she finally did what everyone had been urging her to do and ran for office. With her skills, it wasn't long before she rivaled her husband's political rank. In truth, though she didn't quite reach the same level of politics as he did--he had become a United States Senator while she was a state Senator--she was a better politician than he was, and they both knew it. Gertrude had a feeling...again, just a feeling...that her husband wasn't happy about this at all.
Because her husband had served with distinction until his discharge, Gertrude backed him in insisting that their sons also enlist. It didn't matter which branch they went into as long as they served. Five of her six sons did as they were told. However, after their oldest son Warren chose not to reenlist and instead enter into civilian law enforcement, her husband summarily disowned him. Gertrude was deeply saddened by this, but abided by her husbands decision.
Around the same time that Warren left the military, their fifth son, Michael was just finishing high school and was expected to enlist himself. Michael, however, outright refused to enlist. Gertrude's husband, outraged, now disowned a second son. Gertrude, angry herself now, though she openly supported her husband, secretly sent money to Michael, ensuring that he was able to finish college and make a living for himself. She only stopped when he told her to, not wanting her to get in trouble with her husband.
Gertrude continued to undermine her husband in other ways as well. Though he had no knowledge of it, her second and fourth sons were closer than anyone else realized. Lionel (the second son) and Warren had shared a room growing up, and Harrison (the fourth son) and his brother Jason (third son) had shared a room. Now with Warren gone, Harrison moved into Lionel's room. Ostensibly it was so Jason could study for deployment overseas, but the truth was a bit different. Gertrude accidentally found out how close Lionel and Harrison really were when, bothered by insomnia, she peeked in on them as she had done when they were little boys and found them sleeping in the same bed. She kept it secret from her husband, however, having a fairly good idea what his reaction would be.
Her expectations were proven true when their youngest son, Casper, was forced to leave the military after being caught fraternizing with another man. Gertrude didn't even get a chance to welcome her son home: her husband sent him a letter telling him that he was disowned and to never come home again. Furious, Gertrude sent a second letter to Casper, telling him to go to one of his brothers, either Warren (who had married into the Gold family) or Michael (who had taken the name "Smith" and now had a family of his own). Then she set about planning to divest herself of her less-than-worthy husband.
She needn't have bothered. Shortly after disowning Casper, her husband asked her for a divorce from his side, and she readily gave it to him. He wanted some of her estate...he got practically nil. At her insistence, they had kept their accounts separate, and they reasonably divided what they owned jointly. At her late father's insistence, her husband had been forced to sign a pre-nuptial agreement--the only way her father would agree to the marriage. All Gertrude had to give to her husband--now her ex-husband--was a lump sum of roughly 25,000 simoleons. Gertrude felt this was more than fair, especially since the family he was marrying into was hardly poverty-stricken.
With her former husband gone, she set about rebuilding her family. Sadly, the home was now too small to welcome her absent sons back--both Warren and Michael now had families of their own, and Casper's boyfriend had now moved in with him at Michael's home. So, it was a bit of a relief for Gertrude that Jason met and married a young woman named Wanda who was, he told her, also in the military.
In truth, Jason--though he maintained he pretense--was no longer in the military. After seeing what happened to Warren, he kept his decision not to re-enlist a secret from his parents. Instead, using contacts he'd made during his overseas deployments, he had begun building a criminal network that specialized in smuggling. In short, Jason was now a Smuggler. And his wife Wanda was actually his partner in crime, a Smuggler like himself. Despite this, they kept up appearances, even to the point of having children (though it was more of an accident with consequences, both Jason and Wanda are happy).
Shortly after the birth of their daughters--first Kendra, then a year later Irene--Wanda decided that it was time to leave the world of crime behind and make something of herself. Jason, though reluctant to allow it, agreed to it, and helped Wanda find new employment. She entered into the sciences and, making use of long-dormant skills, quickly became a Theorist.
Although Gertrude was happy to have grandchidlren--and resigning herself to the fact that she wouldn't see her other grandchildren (Warren's and Michael's kids)--she was deeply saddened when Lionel suddenly brought home a lovely young woman and announced that they were getting married. It didn't surprise her when her son Harrison moved out, but she made no mention about it since neither he nor Lionel had ever acknowledged their relationship openly. She accepted Michelle into her family readily enough, though she was very disappointed in her second son.
With his father gone, Lionel left the military and embraced his love of music. It was a bit of a struggle, but he soon became a Rock Star. Surrounded by groupies, both male and female, he was sorely tempted to stray from his wife. Michelle, however, who was famous in her own right as a Celebrity Chef, warned him in no uncertain terms that if he ever did wander, she would never agree to a divorce and would instead do everything to make his every meal a nightmare...and since she had studied the cuisines of many different countries and cultures, she could do it, too. Needless to say, Lionel doesn't stray...the fear of being served obscure, exotic dishes that sometimes stared back at you or moved on your plate is sufficient to curb his interests.
Gertrude herself found new love. Although she, as a Senator, was supposed to avoid scandal like a plague, Gertrude married the younger (much younger) man who had brought love back into her life. Jean-Claude was scarcely older than her son, Michael, and was coincidentally the cousin of Warren's wife. Despite the age difference, they are deeply in love with each other, and their intimate moments are all the better for her experience and his energy.
Jean-Claude, though he dons a suit to fuflill his role as CEO of a major company, very much prefers shorts and a windbreaker--no shirt. Athletic and fit, he knows Gertrude likes how he looks and does all he can to keep her happy. Though it wasn't really his thing, he began wearing a skimpy thong to bed, just for her. Now he's used to it, and besides, she loves the way he looks in it.
Gertrude would gladly have all her sons back with her, but the Silver estate can only accommodate so many. And though she knows it's impossible at her age, she would love to give Jean-Claude a son or daughter. Still, he seems happy, so she's happy, and, really, that's all that matters, so she's satisfied with how her life turned out.
Family Base Income: $5280 (Senator - $700; Rock Star - $1,100; Smuggler - $900; Theorist - $870; Celebrity Chef - $760; CEO - $950)

Kentworth Bedroom Extras
I decided to try adding 3 decorative slots to the Kentworth Bed and it worked like a dream! I should have added slots to the original Kentworth Bed, but not everyone wants a bed with slots. Bridal Collection 2010
I'm back after a few months' break with my 2010 Bridal Collection, comprising four bridal gowns in a variety of styles to suit all tastes, ranging from slinky mermaid to fairytale ballgown to a sleek column silhouette.

I've made all the gowns available for adults and young adults, but do bear in mind that young adults cannot get married.
This set requires three external meshes by Biene, Chriko and Rosemat. I am sad that two of my favourite Sims 2 sites, 2-f0r-u.de and sim2-fashion.de, remain offline. Both sites had a wonderful range of interesting meshes. Fortunately, Pronupsims hosts several of these meshes and I have linked to this site as a source of the meshes in the meantime (this site is a fantastic resource for all things wedding-related for Sims 1 and Sims 2 and is definitely worth browsing if you're planning a Sims wedding). The fourth gown in this set uses the original base game Maxis bridal gown mesh - a lovely mesh, simple but elegant, which re-textures very nicely.
I have created a collection file which includes not only these new gowns but all of my previous formal gowns which would generally be considered suitable for use as bridal gowns, so now you can turn your CAS into a bridal salon. Have fun!
For further Sims 2 wedding tips, take a look at my tutorial here at TSR: The Sims 2 Wedding Planner.

Back with more lots
I have been on a computer hiatus for a while. A while back, I lost my computer and all my Sims 3 work. So I took a break after using my honey's computer for a bit, until I could get my new one and get it set up. I have my new computer all set up, ready to go, and new lots on the way. So here's to no more computer problems! I hope you all enjoy my upcoming work, as I have enjoyed making them! And I am glad to be back in the game, as I have missed playing!! Take care everyone and have great simming days!!
400 user feedbacks
Thanks to fabrizioammollo for the 400th user feedback on my creations and my screenshots.
New Me
No, nothing new about me. I haven't been born again or anything life altering like that. I'm talking about the sim me. I'm sure you've all noticed my cookie avatar is gone and my Sims 3 me now smiles at you. I figured there was enough cookie action goin' on in the header. Besides, I'm cute. I hear I'm extremely cuddly too. It's the 4th version of me I think, give or take a couple. I think I finally got it satisfactory. The highlights aren't right. I have platinum streaks in my hair but they're thicker and not as many as the game highlights. Ah well. You can't have everything. Like bangs. LOL
I've been sifting through floorplans again looking for my next inspiration. I'm still trying to stick with small lots for now. Just something different. I don't really like it. I cut it awfully close at times. I like my sims to be able to add on if need be and have some yard to play in. Mine happen to love, love, LOVE Sim Gnubb so there is always a set in the yard just so they'll quit wanting it. At least they're home where I can see them and know what they're up to. It's not safe to let them wander about town on their own, assaulting neighbors with funny faces and flirting with all the wrong people. So, so wrong.
Uh, anyway, back to lots (I derailed myself). I think I'll stay away from pink now. I've done enough. My pink fix is good for 10 more years. Well, there might be a nursery or hot pink bikini in the mix but for the most part, no pink. Yellow. I need to do something in yellow. It's my favorite color and everyone else in the world hates it, I swear. Before you know it I'll be back to manly man lots since I tend to favor bold and dark colors. Not that all guys like those colors but you just don't see men in pastels too often. It's not the 80s for Pete's sake. (don't forget the cute sweater knotted around the neck and feathered hair)
I'll sign off for now. Just thought I'd check in to make your day. Don't laugh too hard.
Looking for Medieval, Norse, Celtic, and Fantasy Custom Content (CC)!
Hey. I've been searching CC sites for the last year for fantasy themed hairstyles, skins, and clothing (especialy for men)! So far, I have found very little on the internet. If anyone knows of some obscure place with lots of cool and interesting CC, PLEASE send me a link!
btw, I want CC for the sims 3.
Thanks.
Gathered enough Kudos to open a Gallery
The only thing that I had to figure out was what to post in there :/
Didn't have far to think - I'll just post whatever makes me tick besides Sims3. So expect quite a lot of food pics ;) I'll save those of the kids, cat and other pets for Facebook :D
Many more 'cookumentaries' are featured on my Flickr site and blog. Fair warning though, for those who are vegetarian: I'm not ;)
Coming VERY soon - Verdantis: the FREE edition!
Alright, so I was disappointed that my most recent upload turned out to be a subscriber only download. Sadface! After doing some research, I discovered that it was because I had downloaded CC that was, at the time, free, but is now subscriber-only. Talk about confusing! Unfortunately, in order to make the lot free for you, I had to make the kitchen completely different, which means that I couldn't use Lisa 86's wonderful Timian Kitchen. It was where my inspiration originally came from for the house, but oh well! I encourage you all to go and download this wonderful set, if at all possible. I will be keeping up the Premium version (subscriber only content included) as well as adding a Free version (missing some CC used in the premium version). I'm really sorry for the inconvenience, but I hope you all will forgive me and download it :)
Street T-Shirts
On Sunday 26th September I have two new set of T-shirts for males for you. They are for Teen and Adult/Young Adult Males...
I hope you like them :-)

Started a new game with a new sim
I decided to start a new game because my last one kept crashing.. I hope after getting my computer done it will run properly..:) it's so frustrating when your game just shuts itself down.
Everything is OKAY! ...I hope!
FINALLY, everything is back to normal with my Sims game!!!!!!!!! I will post the next chapter up tomorrow so hopefully it will be up by Thursday. I would do it tonight, but I have 2 projects to finish, a new fish I have to tend to, and a boatload of other things.
Thank you SO MUCH for your patience and for the comments. (Thanks to those who whished me well, I am better, just sore from inner tubing this past weekend :P)
I am getting new ideas for stories everyday, so excpect much more after The Telescope is done. But don't worry ( I say sarcasticly) I know how much you LOVE to wait for my story, and there's much much much more to come.
I have to say, when I first started the story, I thought it would be easy. But it's harder than I thought (not that I'm complaining or that it's rocket science). I never knew how much time it actually takes for someone (is it only me?) to think of an idea and then edit it to perfection.
So thank you everyone for being there for me. Thank you for the support. My life is so crazy lately, in between piano practice, school, studying, homework, swim practice, play rehersals, concert rehersals, and my other activities, I'm suprised I get time to play sims anymore. Hopefully by October my life will slow down and give me time to breathe. And of course, finish my story.
So expect the next chapter out by Thursday and more to come after that.

Nostalgia!
Well... I just watched my son drive off for his first night of Firefighter training...
It seems like yesterday I was holding this little squalling bundle in my arms.. I swear, I just put him down for a minute, turned around, and when I looked back..... where did 18 years go?? 18 years? They flew by in the blink of an eye... and there, in place of my little blue eyed, soft, sweet angel stands a 6'3" tall 18 year old man... I used to look down at him in my arms... now, I have to crane my neck to look UP at him! I can see so clearly his first attempt to crawl... and then,, he was standing at the coffee table, he let go, and took those first few tentative steps towards me... all smiley and drooling... his first word... all mumbled... but pointing at me - mommy. His first day of kindergarten... bravely walking up the steps of the bus, turning around, smiling and saying "bye Mom!" Lord how I cried after that bus drove off!!
From a squalling 21" long, 6# 12oz bundle... to a 6'3" 18 year old man. 18!!! I'd give almost anything to have my little bundle back!! But, I have the memories!! And, now he's found his "calling" in life... to help people in some of the darkest moments of their lives... A firefighter! Wow! I'm so proud of this kid!! So very very proud!!
And now... while he's gone... I'm going to go cry for a while!! Ohhh they'll be happy, proud tears... but... well ... Nostalgia!
Grandmother Burrisoph's Kitchen Update
Thanks for the comments/suggestions. I'm getting ready to put together the movie theater and children's entertainment center buildings on the other side of the canal, so may snap off some shots for more input. The original residential lot was 40 x 30, but I placed it on a 40 x 40 lot for more room in front and back.
Comment on my thought process: I thought it would be natural for a kid hangout to be near a sweet shop. It may not make sense to anyone but me, but around here, the commons/green (or square, as we call it) in rural towns usually have one contiguous building that spans the whole block on each side of the square. The larger buildings are then partitioned off into small businesses. For example, a theater may share space with a diner, an arcade, a hardware store, and a gas station at the end of the block facing the next block.
As I pondered how to design the kids theater on the Dutch conversion, that idea bloomed into a new creation: design an entire large lot (64 x 64) similar to a theme park, like Disney Land. I'll place it at the end of the Pinochle Point subdivision. I just happen to have a cathedral that I plan to flip into something resembling the Magic Kingdom Castle. Too bad there aren't many games for kids available in the Sims 3, so I'll try to do some of my own: a waterslide? I'll snap off shots of it as I go...
I already have one community lot there (La Grosse Cloche was what I downloaded; it lays on top of rabbitholes for a suburban bistro, market, theater, and spa.) Does anyone remember the Snooty Patooties from Sims 1? They would love it out here.
Also in response to fredbrenny's question about the fog emitter under the chocolate fountain in the sweet shop. I changed the command to "waterspout" so a small shoot of water should jump out of the top of the fountain.
Hi ho, hi ho, it's off to work I go....
EDIT: Hey, I forgot about the theme park. Now that I know how to use more cheats and WA effects, I need to start working on that again!
Moving on... to the Sims 3!
I've moved on to the Sims 3 (hooray!) since I last uploaded a new house to my site. Sims 3 builds are coming! But I wanted to make sure I was building good homes first, obviously. My current project is recreating Toronto - we'll see how that goes. I've built a real estate agent who shows off each house for me - and lives in a copy for awhile so that it can be tested for good living. I'm also playing with the build-a-world tool so that I can properly situate these long and narrow lots that are so typical of the city, and have fun laying out the long sloping lakeshore sandwiched between two gorgeous ravines.
I had been playing and building on my laptop which has been frustrating as it is not quite powerful enough for the new game engine. Now that I've installed the game on my more current desktop, that frustration should disipate, and the building should move ahead full speed. Watch for a new series of post-war bungalows and semi-detached Victorian Bay and Gables coming soon!
Meantime, here are some screen shots of some of the Sims that have been born since I started playing, and a couple of fun moments...

Bah
It's taking a little longer to make the next set as I have stuff happening in my real life. They shall be here when they are here I suppose. :-)
Picture Taking 101: Lots and Houses
I love making lots. I love downloading lots. I think that a Sims 3 Residential Lot is a real challenge in and of itself. But I'm not talking about architecture here. You can read my other blog post about that. I'm talking about taking pictures of your lot to show everyone how wonderful your architectural prowess is. Taking pictures of your lot is easy and will display some of the finer points of your house/community center/etc. By following these pretty simple steps, you can show off your lot and not annoy potential downloaders with flashy photos of really angular rooms.
1. Front of the Lot: Taking a picture of the front is enough to entice. Think of how home magazines are set up. There's the front of the house, a couple pictures of the views or attractive rooms, then the layout. The front of the house is important because you don't want to show off a really nice home/community lot with a rather crappy looking entrance. The front of the house picture is like a prologue of what's to come.
2. Interior shots: The most appealing to you is most likely what's going to be appealing to others. The amazing looking split level living room, the raised kitchen, the sunken bedroom, the sunlit basement. Decorated makes the home attractive. Not decorated makes the imagination run wild. Throw in a couple of these, but don't go overboard. Give the potential downloader just a taste of what it'll look like from the sims' point of view.
3. Outdoor shots: Landscaping accents the house by framing the views, softly hiding the structure to make the home look almost mystical at times. Show off your bridged pond, your outdoor sunning area, your garden bursting with fruits and vegetables.
4. LAYOUT PICTURES: I feel I must emphasize this one, though not rightly enough. I HATE it when I see a cute little house with a couple really nice accent pictures, and no layout shots. I'm the type of downloader where I like to see a map of what I'm getting. Looking at that makes the real decision as to whether I'm going to click that download button or close the window. I don't want to have to download the house, then look at the layout, and discover that it's a house I didn't really want to download. A birds-eye shot of each level is wonderful. If you don't want to take pictures while the grid is all over the ground, click the terrain paints option in build mode and hide the cursor under the house. After you take a snapshot of the roof, hit the page dwn button on your keyboard, hit the C button, lather, rinse, repeat with each floor. Make sure that the house itself fits your screen, too. You don't want to have your home in a corner of your picture so that the main purpose of showing off your layout is moot.
5. Birds-eye Lot Pictures: These I wouldn't recommend putting in unless you have a rather complicated maze going on with your lot. They may be fine just to accent the download, but they're not necessary. Leave the downloader with something to discover on the lot.
6. Brightness: I've seen houses uploaded that have nothing but frontal shots, daytime and nighttime, and there are just way too many "glaring" angles that blind out the entire shot. It's good to put accents here and there with maybe photoshop or gimp. But don't blind me with your super white house with the sun behind it. I can't see what I'm looking at. A typical day shot, maybe while the sun is setting behind the camera is nice. But if you have a regular day shot, when the sun is high in the sky, the shadows are minimal and it brings out the true color of the house, as well as some depth and detail that a nighttime shot may not provide.
7. Bunch up the shots: Put some nice photos of your house together. Interior shots in one image, exterior shots in another. Limit your images to four shots of the house, maybe some text to explain what the images are of. Anything more than four photos of the house (especially of one room) is just overkill.
If you don't know what I mean by any of this, please refer to this download: http://www.thesimsresource.com/downloads/1005112
Shamelessly Seeking Input On My Flip
I downloaded one of fredbrenny's lots and asked her permission to flip it from residential to commercial. The screenshots on my minisite show the first phase of the flip. I started with the main house and turned it into Grandmother Burrisoph's Bakery. (No, Burrisoph is not my name, but Grandmother Burrisoph's storyline, if one develops, really is my grandmother's.)
Mainly as a point of reference for fredbrenny (since this is her lot I'm flipping), I'm going to outline my future plans in a blog entry (or more than one, as needed).
The building to the right of the main house has been emptied of the sculpting station and etc., and turned into a hot beverage hut. I will put in several countertops to place the variety of "hot beverage makers" I've collected and place several pieces of tea- and coffee-appropriate wall art throughout the hut. There will be no interior walls.
Between what is now my bakery/sweet shop and the new beverage hut, I have placed small to medium tables/chairs covered with more clutter to make it look like an outdoor cafe'. I already have a buffet table inside the sweet shop, but there are no tables in there, so I assume if a Sim uses the buffet, they will go outside to eat.
Drifting organically, I hope, from between these two buildings to the back of the lot, I will intersperse the tables and chairs among outdoor seating arrangements and sun shades. I want another buffet table out here, but haven't decided if it should be on the ground, on floor tiles, or up on a new foundation.... I'm leaning against the foundation because I want it all to flow smoothly (I hate using CFE and am afraid to do so with so many buildings so close together). Anyway, I'll probably just use a combination of terrain paints from paving to grass to flowery grass..... (input here please?) I kind-of suck at terrain painting and am never satisfied with what I do compared to other people's work (actually, I suck big time).
The building to the left of the main house is the old barn, converted into a garage. I un-converted it and made it into a Gnubb (sp?) game room. Amazingly, the game fits exactly inside the building. That is all I am doing here. I've dropped two butterfly spawners behind the bakery and put two ordinary fish spawners in the canal. Are the fish appropriate? I'm just looking for the splashy goldfish fx.
I have a set of urban city clutter to make bus-stops, phone booths, newspaper stands, bike rental (is that like mo-ped rentals in the US?) parking meters, and more. I'm adding this clutter and added the lot to my M-DART line as a stop/station. (M-DART stands for Midtown-District Area Rapid Transit, i.e., a bus line. Quirky.)
Using sub-basements, I'm dropping in bistro and theater rabbitholes. I want the bistro for Grandmother Burrisoph's bakery, but the theater is for my mock Children's Theater building. (Details about that are forth-coming.) Any suggestions of a quirky, yet appropriate name for a European Children's Theater/Cinema for that rabbithole? The Punch and Judy Show? No?
The biggest aspect is last to come. Fred, could you tell me if it would be appropriate to expand the green building that runs over the canal at the right side of the lot back across the lot in the other direction? In other words, can I make it run parallel to the main set of buildings you started with on the other side of the canal?
- From left to right, back of lot (behind canal):
- barn,
- house,
- sculpting room,
- building in front of sculpting room,
- green building attached to building in front of sculpting room (end of right side).
- Canal running down center of lot.
- From right to left, front of lot (in front of canal):
- same green building at far right (#5 above), pulled out toward the front of the lot (it is now 40 x 40, not 40 x 30), then made wider toward the left of the lot so that it faces the original set of buildings on the other side of the canal.
- space left between canal and green building, similar to behind canal for a commons (chess tables, easels, etc.)
It's easy to envision, but hard to explain....... Grrrrr..... This is where I want to build my mock Children's Theater using some electronics and clutter I downloaded from TSR.
By the way, I WILL NOT be clicking off as many shots of the remainder of the lot as I did the bakery and sweet shop. That building is the main reason for having the lot, therefore gets the most attention. If I need to, I will be glad to grab shots of the "green building dilemma" to get assistance, though.
I've written too much to digest it all. I'm going back to work and will check back later for responses (I hope!!)
Computer Problems...
I encountered some troubling computer problems a few days ago while working on my 12th chapter of Pieces of me, and had to reinstall my OS completely. Meaning I had to also reinstall The Sims and all expasions and stuff packs, I was upset when I thought I had lost everything and wouldn't be able to continue the story as it was made due to CC reasons, but thank god all my files were saved into a folder and was able to retrieve them. So the story continues on! Wrapping up my 12th Chapter now, have a few more to go!
Also started working on a new story, when the idea popped in my head I had to start on it right away so that it wouldn't pass me by getting it started now, so be on the look out for that to be coming soon!
Happy Simming all!!

Confession of a Junkie
I have a confession to make. Not only am I a building addict and have plenty of build CC to keep me happy for 5 lifetimes, I'm also a... pattern junkie. GASP! Yes, I can't have enough patterns. I love color and changing everything about everything, from the pattern to the texture to the metal to the purpose. LOL It's madness! But I don't really have to stop because it's not a bad thing. I doubt my doctors will ever say, "If you want to live another 10 years, stop downloading patterns!" So phooey on them!
Erm... it looks like Iona passed inspection. That's my next lot of course, not a person. LOL This one... I dunno. I didn't get to decorate it all in one sitting and my moods changed. It will be obvious when you look at the rooms. Not that it's bad, just... varied. And there is a lot of coral/salmon/whatever. It's not pink, not orange, not red. It's... some sort of unnatural splatter of color. Quite girly, but maybe too much. The kitchen is good. I like the bedroom in plaid and floral. I don't usually do that and am not sure if it really works or not, but I thought I'd give it a try. I like the colors at least. And I went all itchy scratchy girly in the master bedroom with the fabrics and bed and furniture style. That fancy crap. I could not sleep in that room. But I'm not the one living there so it doesn't matter. As for the structure of the house, I like it. Very symmetrical. The carport is too cute and I love the ivy covered posts. Anyway, I hope somebody likes it. I have a sim in it and she's not planning on moving. Although she is living next to the Bunch household. They're better neighbors than I have.
I have been considering doing a lot with TSRAA stuff. I've always wanted to include stuff in my lots, but... I'm afraid I'll tick someone off or use something I shouldn't. A girl can only make so many notes about her CC before it's an absolute mess and lost cause. Guess I'll think on it some more. I mean I'm an outcast for "doing the right thing", having "high moral ground", an "overdeveloped sense of responsibility", and "standards". Huh. Can ya tell I've been analyzed a few thousand times? What would happen if I accidentally did something... shifty? Why, the next thing you know we'll all be living on an ice cube, naked, with squirrels for scarves. It could be total chaos. Fire, brimstone, and thundersnow!
Laugh. You know you want to. And one last tidbit of randomness...
"I want cake. Where is this cake? I was told there would be cake. The cake is a lie."
THANK YOU!!!
7 000 downloads WOW :) Thank you my dear friends and I hope you like my work. :) And of courseenjoy and happy Simming
New stuff
Hey guys, I just wanted to let you know that I uploaded my new lot today that I've been working on all weekend. I literally could not stop playing, I was so involved in this lot, haha. It's very different from my usual style, but I actually had a lot of fun making it. As you all probably can tell, I'm into colonial and Victorian architecture more than anything else, but this new lot is something totally new for me. It's a modern-style house called "Verdantis." It has an eco-chic and Asian zen theme to it. The main color palette is neutrals and greens. It's so beautiful, and I really hope you guys enjoy it, because I worked really hard on it! :)
In the beginning.....
I started flipping one of fredbrenny's houses today from a residential to commercial lot. I love the Dutch flavor, with the canal running through the center. While I was planning the design (a "fake" sweet shop adjoined to a kid's "fake" cinema featuring Disney classics), some ideas began to germinate about stories I can write describing my current world. I think I'll introduce the Browning family: personalities, aspirations, background on conflicts that may develop into story lines of their own.... From there I could lead into the Browning family contributions to Sunset Valley, i.e., a tour of my Midtown District venues. This will have to tie in to another story line concerning the Burrisophs and Johnsonophs, from which inspiration for several of the existing venues sprang. My over-caffienated brain is spinning. I need to stop for a while; take a breather and really focus on what my goals are where the Sims world is concerned. I may be spending too much time in it. To be continued.
EDIT: I have written a story using Gracie Browning, singular, as a main character. The story series above described about my Brownings will just need to be renamed. Maybe Carlson....
A new story.
This evening I have submitted a new story which is called "Under The Same Moon". In this story you will find all the character back that I used in my previous stories. I really hope that you'll enjoy it.
More Questions!
Me agaaiinn! I have yet another question to ask you guys! It is, unfortunately, kinda dumb. But I wanna know: what does it mean if your featured? Or if your story is featured? People have been congradulating me on it and I'm all like, "Thanks a lot, I'm so happy!" but I'm thinkin', "What." Eh..heh. So basically what does it mean? Is it good? I'd guess so, since people are congradulating me on it...lol, I bet the answer's gonna be super-simple. Please answer, thank yoouu!! I love you! And I will give you a candy bar if you answer this! (But I'll probably eat it.)
Decitions!
I have decided to only put a new item up every month because I am so busy. There for I will hope to bring more creative stuff to you x
100 entries in my guestbook
Thanks to flody888 for the 100st entry in my guestbook :) and to all the others who wrote before.

More fences and lights coming your way!
Hi all,
Just a super quick update. I have created quite a few more fences. The fences I have made have been very popular, so of course I will carry on making more :)
Coming in a few days will be a high version of the High tech fence and a matching flower border version.
There is also a Tall country light and a small Candle sconce coming in a few days too!
My much awaited Fairy Beach house is finally ready and is also currently in pending on TSR. This has loads of unlocked items, like gems, fish, butterflies and unlocked objects. Your Sims will really enjoy living there!
I will then be taking a few days break, just whilst I travel to England. Once I am settled I will be back creating again.
Until then....
Hugs
