Dean Calentie; counting the ladies

Officer Dean Calentie smiled to himself as he exited the police cruiser and headed for the door.  He liked his title and his job.  As an extra bonus, the girls loved him in his blue uniform.  He’d never actually had any kind of career ambition.  He went to college to meet girls.  He bought a small one bedroom house next door to his cousin Steve Fancey after graduating with honors.  He took the first job offered to him. Life was good and women where aplenty.

He looked in his dresser and his smile faded.  He needed new threads.  Word at the station was he was up for promotion again.  He’d be a captain hero and the blue uniform wouldn’t be around much longer.  Plus, he needed something to wear when the ladies stayed the night with him.  All the cloths he had where far from cool and mostly second hand.  He took a quick shower and called the taxi.

Commando Emporium was one of his fave spots.  They carried all his brands.  He found everything he needed for the next few seasons.  Along with everything he’d need for when he had some company on those long cold nights. 

Dean hung out for a while after getting all his new threads.  He met a beautiful witch named Ally Woodrow.  There was some so exotic to him about her deep green skin that just drew him to her.  He spent a good deal of time chatting her up and flirting with her. 

He bumped into some old college buddies.  Brandon Roseland was browsing the racks.  Jimmy Phoenix and Beau Broke where watching the game in the lounge area.  Clyde Kim was enjoying a hot dog someone grilled up. 

A pretty little townie named Calista Fuchs greeted him and he chatted with her for a while.  A not so attractive Maura Davison introduced herself.  Dean was polite to her but not that interested.

When Dean finally made his way home he was exhausted.  He flopped down on his bed and fell right to sleep.

After work the next day he invited Kitty Crazy over.  While he was waiting for her he spotted his cousin Mel Fancey walking by. 

“Hey cuz,” Dean called to Mel, “what’s up!!”

“Just stopped over Steve’s but he wasn’t in.” Mel replied.

“Ah, dude, you can hang here,” Dean smiled, “I gotta honey sliding by, but it’s all good.”

“I guess, why not.”

Dean and Mel chatted until Kitty arrived and Dean shifted his focus to her.  When Dean flirted with her Mel got mad. 

“I had a fling with him once.” Kitty whispered to Dean.

“Hey, Mel,” Dean walked over to his cousin, “I don’t want to seem like a..Well, you know, but hey, she’s a romance lady and I’m a romance kinda guy.  Get my drift.”

Mel nodded and with an angry huff he left.

“So about that date we never got to fully finish at your place.” Dean smiled at Kitty pulling her close for a kiss before guiding her to his room.

He woo – hooed with Kitty.

The next night, he seduced Bell Goth and woo-hooed with her.

The night after that, he impressed himself by getting Saturday Lames to woo-hoo with him.

He got his promotion to captain hero without working up his skills. 

Dean looked through is little phone book, trying to pick out his next conquests. His asperation in life was to woo-hoo with 20 sims, he had 15 left to go.  He picked out a couple of townie girls he had high chemistry with.  He glanced at Dianna Phoenix’s number.  He thought about calling her, but there was something different about her then other girls.  He flipped the page and called a few other babes.  Whatever it was about Dianna could wait. 

Good news!

I got my game back up and running! Unfortunately I had to uninstall CAP (Create-A-Pattern) to do so, so hopefully I'll find a way to reinstall that eventually. I'm working on a new house as we speak... it's something a little different from my usual, so I hope you enjoy! It'll be posted within the next few days :)

Update on projects

Apparently I had this long post on my status update, and I never posted it.  Oh well.  It's outdated now, so I'll just move on to new stuff.

As you can see, I've gotten Sims 3 installed finaly and have been making some stuff.  For the moment, I'm either working on some lots, or I'm redesigning some of my Sims 2 items for Sims 3.  It's a way of learning how to use Workshop and other programs so I can eventualy start creating new items exculsively for Sims 3.

I'm not sure how often I'll be able to upload. I'm hoping for once or twice a month.  With two partime retail jobs, 3 kids, and a hubby a full time student, my time for Sims 3 is limited.

If there's something I've made before in the past that you'd like to see for Sims 3, please feel free to request it. Otherwise, I'll just work on some of my more popular from Sims 2.

So my computer has crashed a lot lately. I have reloaded it several times. I have lost EVERYTHING sim related....So I might not be able to make any new stories for a loooong time.......Just thought it would be nice for you guys to know so you don't think I died!

Dr. Who and Freya undies, of all things ...

Coming soon (or possibly already out): I finally complete the line-up of classic series "Doctor Who" outfits with the costume worn by Patrick Troughton - the actor to play the Doctor's second incarnation in seasons 4-6 (1966-69).

Also, I am releasing two sets of Freya "Arabella" style lingerie for adult female sims, one with suspender belt / stockings and one without. They are in the in-season "cassis" colour (deep grape) and have sheer and lace fabric effects worked into the alpha files, so that they will show up effectively on any skin tone.

Happy Day!

Since I joined TSR Ive seen some amazing creations, talked to a few awesome artists, won a lottery :-D, and added some fantastic things to my game.  Yet I cant seem to find the time to figure out this whole creation thing.  I work 2 jobs and Im a mother of 2 small children and Ive been using the hour or two I have free everyday downloading stuff for my game.  Ill be cutting back to one job soon and I'll be taking time off for school in the spring so I promise to start contributing as soon as I have time to sit through 1001 tutorials.  ;-)  Ive been coming up with fun stuff in my head so hopefully itll translate well to the game.

Steve Fancey; the start of a rock start

The phone rang.

Steve turned the faucet on and washed the plate he’d left out the night before.

The phone rang again.

With a heavy sigh he pushed his hair out of his eyes.

The phone kept ringing.

He didn’t want to answer the phone.  He knew it was one of his two youngest siblings.  Either Sam wanting to brag about what he’s been doing or Stacie wanting to ask him a million questions.

The phone was relentless with its ringing.

He walked slowly over to answer it.

“Why is Sam so clueless?” Stacie demand at the sound of Steve’s voice.

“What happened?”  Steve sighed, and prepared himself for the 2 hour rant by his youngest sister.

Steve was the second eldest of the five Fancey kids.  Mel was the oldest, then Steve, Lizzy, Sam and Stacie.  Mel and Lizzy where both fortune sims.  Steve and Sam where both romance sims.  Stacie was a knowledge sim and she was curious about everything.  When ever she wanted to know about love or romance or like today, understand Sam, she called Steve. 

Steve and Sam had a lot in common.  They both liked to clean, they both wanted to be rock gods, and they both liked beautiful women.  There where also differences between the two as well.  Sam was more into himself and a little on the reckless side. 

Steve was more focused.  He wasn’t as compulsive as his brother.  Steve had a very mellow laid back way. 

When Steve finally got off the phone with his little sister he had to get to work.  he worked from 2 to 8 pm.  He’d been having parties after work, but the cops broke them up before they really got started.  His work schedule was putting a cramp in his social life. 

Steve wasn’t too worried; he had a few female friends who he could call by for a little sleepover party of their own. 

Kitty Crazy was more then willing to stop by and hang out with Steve.  Unlike his cousin, Dean, Steve didn’t have a goal for the number of ladies he wanted to keep company.

“I’m all about quality,” Steve had once told his cousin.

Steve fixed a light dinner for him and Kitty.  They talked, flirted and played before relaxing in his room.  In the morning, Steve fixed cereal for them then back to the bedroom. 

Kitty hung out until after Steve went to work.  Steve came home with a promotion from battle of the bands judge to roady. Steve was excited to be moving up in the music field so fast.  He changed his hairstyle.  Pushing his hair out of his face.  Wearing long layers to his sholdiers.   He also got himself the battle axe guitar.  He went right to practicing in hopes of moving up faster.

A song stuck in my head - What now?

I have started my next set of David and Goliath tee's. I tried to make the Famous Stars and Straps but gave up after they were not cutting properly. I will probably go back to them at some point but I really wanted to get my next D&G set out.

After this set is done I really want to work on my re-texturing so I will be releasing no more tee's for a while. Which isn't so bad. How many different tee's do you have in your wardrobe? :-)

I hope the set I am working out now will be finished by Sunday.

1/2 way everything

Seems lately I've been VERY good at getting things 1/2 way done.  Had a couple of lots that ended up needing some remodeling done to them......they're still waiting to be remodeled.  Have another home 100% built & ready for Sims to move in.......but before I took the pix to make a nice presentable package......all my getty-up got up & went!  Made several pets.....and same thing.....they're sitting in my Sim bin awaiting homes for which to use for grabbing cute pix to use.  Have wall sets out the wazoo in various states of completion........same thing.  A few apartments where they're not fully finished........yup you guessed it......they're just sitting there waiting to be completed.  I went ahead & GOT the items I'd need to bring my story Sims Matt & Jenny back (I enjoyed writing their story even though it was a LOT of work)......but um......yeah.....if I can't manage to force myself to finish little projects BIG ones like writing a story are so far back seat.....they're back of the bus back seat!  I'm sure if I felt better that'd HELP......but at the moment I just feel like I'm ALWAYS.......either too loopy, too owie, too tired, or too all of the above; to do what.......HIEDI WANTS TO DO!  And what I'd LIKE TO DO is to make things for people to enjoy. It almost always brightens my day to see NEW CC to spoil my Sims with AND how disappointing it is to only see a few items here & there. :(   I know there are only a few hand-fulls of us still playing TS2 but I'm sure none of us stopped liking to have new things for our Sims, I know I sure haven't!  As much as I'd like to......I wouldn't feel "right" FORCING myself to put stuff out; #1 it would probably end up being lousy work if I was too loopy at the time I made it, #2 I'd be embarassed/horrified if I'd made a major mistake that caused anyone's game/Sims any problems.  So I'll just hope I get some days where I can be sitting up with-OUT a bunch of meds AND finish what I've started!!! <3

Sparklewood has started

The first few parts of my Sparklewood story are released now. I am happy about the many comments I received. Writing is fun, but more so because of getting feedback from readers. By chance I observed that one release started with two persons giving it a rating of "3", before it climbed up to an average rating of "4.6". It's a pity the two "3"-givers didn't leave a comment for me. It's quite normal that a story is not to everyone's liking, but I am still curious why they gave a rating that's low in comparism to the achieved average of the story. I hope the next time they will rate a story low they find the time to explain it with a comment. I don't want to argue with them, but I'd like to know the reasons. You can only improve if you know what went wrong. Getting congratulations from someone who liked your story makes you happier, while meeting with criticism of less impressed readers makes you a better writer. At least that's what I hope.

September 19th, In the Details!

In The Details is a collection of antique and vintage table lamps for Sims 3, it includes “Victoriana,” a favorite lamp from Sims 2, “Charmed,” a 2-post table lamp, “Guinevere,” perfect for a child's nursery, and “Princess,” with a delicate floral motif. When decorating your home—it’s all in the details! The collection is scheduled for publication on September 19, 2010.

Mellow and Dan Crazy; one more time around

Mellow (Lames) Crazy = Adult

Mellow put the finishing touches on her painting of Dan serving food and hung it in their bedroom.  Life was falling into a simple rhythm for them since Kitten had left for college. They had tried to have another baby while Kitten was growing up.  It had just never happened.  When Kitten left for college they decided not worry about it anymore.  The money they had saved up for a bigger house they spend on nicer furniture. They where both making good money getting close to the top of their professions.  Dan worked for the paper and she was working at one of the hot architecture firms. 

Just as they were settling into their new life of just the two of them, Mellow became pregnant.  Dan was instantly overjoyed.  He’d missed so much when Kitten had been born. 

Dan had been in college when he’d met Mellow.  She was new to Pleasantview.  Her and her brother, Dude Lames, where the first sims to actually live in the Downtown district.  They shared an apartment in one of the newly built apartment buildings.  Mellow stayed with her brother all thru her pregnancy with Kitten and even after she was born.

It was a small two bedroom apartment.  Mellow had the baby’s crib in her room with her and the changing table in the living area.  There where days the apartment felt crowded.  Dude wanted to raise 20 pets, and he had a cat, McCool. 

When Kitten became a toddler walking through the apartment was somewhat of a challenge navigating around baby’s and cat’s toys.  As soon as Kitten grew into a child, Mellow decided to buy a small house.  A few days later Dan finished college and moved in with them.  They had a small wedding in their back yard. 

Money had been tight while Kitten was growing up.  Dan and Mellow saved every spare simolean with the hopes of having another baby and buying a bigger house.  Now Kitten was in college and the couple was making good money.  Mellow decided instead of a new house she’d just design a second floor; after all she worked at a prestigious architect firm.

They built a second floor with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a balcony off the master bedroom.  They left the downstairs room intact.  They turned the old master bedroom into a living room.  They kept the downstairs bathroom as a bathroom.  Mellow put her drafting table in Kitten’s old bedroom.

Mellow’s pregnatecy flew by.  It was a smooth and easy pregnancy.  Dan was home when the time came for the baby’s birth.  Everything went well and she gave birth to a baby girl. 

“Daisy?” Mellow suggested looking from her new infant to her husband.

“Daisy.”  Dan smiled.  “I like it.”

Mellow stayed home with Daisy, only going to work when Dan was home.  Dan spent every chance he could with his youngest daughter. 

“So, I was thinking,” Mellow started over dinner one night, “Maybe when Daisy is a child we could buy a vacation home.”

“We could finally have a honeymoon.” Dan smiled.

“or a family get a ways.”  Mellow grinned.

“Maybe a place to someday take grandchildren.”  Dan suggested enthusiastically.

“On the beach or at least near the ocean?”

“I could build a sandcastle that you design.”

They both laughed.

Kaitlyn

I usually blog about my lots so I guess I'll write a ditty about my latest lot, Kaitlyn. It's due out tomorrow. There isn't much to say about Kaitlyn since it's a small lot and fairly simple. What caught my eye when looking for floorplans was the entry bordered by two two-story pillars. It seemed a stylish touch for such a simple plan. I decided to go for girly girl decor. The living room and kitchen aren't too girly. A nice dark blue dominates those areas. The rest of the house though favors pinks and pastels. Not exactly my thing, but I like to challenge myself. You'll need Fast Lane for this one. I had fun in the garage, a tad. And the couch in the living room is from that pack. Not really much more to say. Small lot, great for a single mom or sisters moving out for the first time, or a very small family just starting out. Add a basement and you might fix any space problems your sims have as their family grows.

As for my next lot, I plan for that to be on the small size as well. I might try girly again. I dunno. Depends on my mood and how much I want to itch while decorating. I just don't do pink well. Or lace. Or ruffles. Or... girl things. Yep, I'm a girl, but I prefer brights and darks, or even sterile black and white, over pastels. I look good in pink but it is absent from my wardrobe. Maybe it's my older sister. She's all Mrs. Victorian. The more ruffles, lace, antiques, and embellishments, the better. Ugh. I can't stand it. Her home is beautiful though, I won't say it ain't. That's her thing though. I will allow bright pinks into my life, but they are still scrutinized and limited excessively. LOL I'm wearing a bright pink t-shirt now but it has Eeyore on it so he cancels it out. I love Eeyore.

Ahem, anyway, not too much else to say. I still want to try my hand at patterns. If I could mesh I'd add bangs to every flippin' hairstyle out there. I have bangs and I don't know what EA has against bangs. They're cute and make you look younger. I can never find a style for my selfsim. I can find lots of styles without bangs that resemble my hair, but alas, no bangs.

Oh, the random bit for the day. I found a pair of earrings in a catalog I was really tempted to order. They were... cookies! M&M cookies! There was a necklace too but I don't do necklaces. I've only had my ears pierced for less than 2 years. It was sort of a... spontaneous thing I did during a meltdown. I don't regret it though. I love dangley earrings best. Dunno why. If these were dangley cookie earrings they'd be on my ears right now. Since they were studs I could resist. And if nobody out there cares about this, that's fine. DOT will care.

And this post has gone down the stupid path so I guess I'm done.

Wow, I´ve fell in love with kitchen! right now I wanna do FOUR kitchen! A black, glass, wood and red kitchen! No, wait! Five kitchens!! Maybe I should do a set of kitchen.. Then I mean the basic items, counters and such... 

OK, enough of smileys.. By now I can tell you that a new set will come, it´s just some small fixes left!

That might not be much for some creators but it is for me. Thanks to all the people that supported and downloaded from me. Enjoy the pic =)

Decisions, decisions...

Some file organisation is needed today I think....

That's twice now I've almost uploaded the wrong thing. Nobody wants to end up with an ugly hag type witch sim instead of one of my models!

I get so confused. I think I'll leave the lots for now, get my sims out of the way then I can concentrate on the houses properly :)

There may even be time for a dress or two, and I've got some shoes on the go that need finishing.

THEN maybe I'll make an alien sim, just for fun.

I wouldn't be surprised if there already is one in my list of sims to upload. It's a mile long and there's literally everything you could ever imagine in there - goths, geeks, jocks, models, witches, fairies, zombies, celebrities ... I could go on!

But which ones do I upload next?? At the minute I choose by scrolling randomly up and down the list, and whatever I stop on gets uploaded. Hardly an informed decision...

This isn't really a blog post is it? It's come out more like a to do list for me!!

September updates

Hey guys, I know I haven't posted anything in a while, and I apologize. I've been really busy with classes starting and all my activities around campus. The fact that my laptop charger broke didn't help either. I just tried to update my game to 4.3.4 and it said invalid file found, and now the game won't start up at all, so I'm trying to fix that in my spare time. 

I still plan on releasing new pattern sets in the near future, but because of time constraints, new houses are likely to be more in the future. I apologize for the delays (although I highly doubt anyone minds).

The jealous female sim

Ok, I've been checking the recent poll and I'm still considering creating for the female sim. The thing is that there are already some cool designs out there and it will take me more time to juggle both female and male clothing. I'm not saying a definite no on this topic, but is still for consideration. So if I decide to start doing female clothes it will be simple designs. Keep posted!

Update on the Hathaway Mansion - Tomb version

For all who have downloaded the Hathaway Mansion - Tomb Version, I highly recommend you update your file (just download it again at my minisite) as the older version presented some problems which may have prevented some of you of finishing the tomb.

Heart Noggin tee's and other oddities.

So my first set of David and Goliath t shirts for teens were accepted (yay!), I hope you like them because there are 10 more coming your way! ^_^

The next set are not going to be in the heart noggin series, they are just to be whatever takes my fancy on the site. It's a hard job because they are all so cute so if there is any particular one you want just let me know which and I'll do my best to include it in the set.

I am also at this moment working on a Famous stars and strap t-shirt set for men.

After these two sets are done I want to go into re-texturing meshes. I've tried it once and failed, but that was mostly due to a lack of resource picture for this particular item and then someone uploaded what I was making yesterday (or perhaps the day before) so I gave up.

Disaster

Oh my gosh! what a disaster these past 3 days were.

I somehow lost ALL my downloads from the sims2, my game crashed and it somehow managed to delete everything that was saved, lots, sims, neighborhoods, downloads EVERYTHING. I tried to fix it somehow but I couldn't. I now had to reinstall all of my sims games and then find all the items I downloaded the past years! -big sigh- 

Well that turned out to be harder than I expected but somehow I managed to find (most) of the items back.
I saved all my finished lots in a seperated folder and also the most important items/meshes of those houses (including some that are not included in the download)
Sadly this means that I lost all the lots I was working on so I will have to start from stratch! And I lost a lot of items.

I am sorry to say I probely won't be uploading anything for the coming 2 weeks. I hope you guys can understand this.
If you have any interesting downloads I should look at please let me know ^^
And to be sure I now have a back-up from all the downloads, if this happens in the future I'll be prepared!

Pieces of Me Chapter 11 is finished.

I spent a while tonight wrapping up the 11th chapter of Pieces of Me, there were so many great ideas i incorporated a little bit of a few of the ones i recieved as well as an idea of my own i got over vacation. I hope you all enjoy it when it gets approved, its a long one so be prepared to read, read, read!!!

*searching* The PERFECT home

I am finding it harder and harder to find my Sims the PERFECT home. You know, that beauitful house whose landscaping is amazing. The layout is easy and flows perfectly. Nicely decorated and has the right amount of bedrooms, bathrooms, and 3+ car garage, without being overly HUGE. I'm not a great designer, but maybe I should try. I can't seem to find the one house that I want my Sims to live and die in. That house that gets passed down from generation to generation. The ONE house that if I choose to add onto, it won't mess up the beauty of it.

I'm searching.

Not to say that I haven't found nice houses, but they haven't done what I needed them to do. I need a house that doesn't have to have items from the EA store, or a bunch of downloads in it to be great. Something breath taking, but simple. A house that fits ANYWHERE.

Building

I had started a house I really was enjoying building and couldn't wait to get on TSR. I was also using CC that wasn't subsriber only so everyone could download it. Well, I started building another house for a contest I was in and I liked that house so much better, I decided I wanted to finish that and submit it first! LOL  So, with a little tweaking here and there (the contest had a money limit) I should be submitting the new house sometime later this week. I will have screenshots in my gallery for you to peruse, too. So, until then, have fun playing :)

The Skype Effect

Since becoming an FA I've gotten hooked up with our Skype groups and have been invited to offer my graphics perspectives in the site re-design group. So if my submissions seem to suddenly be getting a bit skimpy, that would be the reason. In the last two weeks I've scantly been seen around my build screen. I have a couple lots still hanging around that are yet to be submitted. I'll try to get those in the pipeline sometime soon. I've also got a unique holloween castle already done so be looking for that sometime later next month. I don't know how much longer I'll be in the mix other than to say the new site is slated to role out around Christmas. I can't imagine being needed right up until then but I can't say for sure. We will see. Thanks again for all your support everybody, you make it all worth while!  Do share your thoughts.

No! NO! Stay in the Nest!

So . . . about the Little Bird's Home . . . yeah. Well, I decided I wasn't going to upload that. It tryuly is a magnificent house, but I would prefer for that reason and that reason only that I not allow anyone to upload it. It is almost a replica of the two houses next to it because of its spot, so I wanted it to look like its neighboring houses, but then I thought I should spice it up a little so I had a little garden planted in the front of the yard, with flame fruit and life fruit and death flowers, and an omni plant. Then sitting along the little garage and the old broken down truck(but is still drivible) were three little apple trees.

Well, I made the mistake of moving a sim family into it before uploading it and well, all the plants died. And because I am way too lazy to replant them(and since they moved out and sold the furniture, completely redecorate the house!) I decided that it would be best if I just totally forgot about uploading it. I am so sorry, but, don't worry because I am going to make a small madern home for you guys to enjoy instead.

I have no idea what it will be called but I promise you it will be just a wonderful as Little Blue Bird's Home! It will probably be up in a few hours or a day or two, since I have so much homework tonight. So, check back in a while for it!

Fast Lane

I usually don't buy stuff packs but I made an exception this time as there where going to be a few lovely cars.

My sim got a Cabriolet, it looks great I think.

I've only tested this one and the cheap Vespa. But after installing I have noticed a few 'issues'. 

One is when playing my new sim Sylvia, I sent her to France and the tomb had already been 'used' although this was the first sim in this family. The treasures where there but the hidden doors and other stuff where already opened. 

The other thing that happened (I think as I haven't noticed this before) is that I suddenly have furniture on 2 hills in Riverview like this!

Has anyone else seen this before?

Overall I'm a little bit disappointed as I had hoped there would be some more clothing, but now it's not that long before the next EP is here.

Back from vacation...

While it was good to enjoy some time away, a little longer than i had expected as well, its good to be back from vacation!! Back to work finishing up the next couple of chapters for Pieces of Me!!

Sam Fancey : caught up in his own world.

Sam bought a small two story house around the corner from Claire Kim in downtown Pleasantview.  He wanted to be close to his child.  He set about remodling the house.  There where two bedrooms upstairs but the bathroom was down stairs.  That needed to be changed.  It took a lot of planning and replanning to get two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs.  The second bedroom was a bit small but he figured his child wouldn’t stay the night very often and wouldn’t need much.

He’d hardly settled in when Claire gave him the news.  A baby girl named Samantha.  When he fed his little girl a bottle he looked around Claire’s house.  She’d done a good job remodling and making room for their child.  He noticed she had yet to get a high chair.  He knew he had one in storage and figured he’d never have a reason to use it.  When he returned home he got the high chair and did some more shopping.  He decorated the spare bedroom in reds and pinks for Samantha and put some play ground equipment out back for her.  Just a slide and some monkey bars in white.  Then he bought an entire play ground set in lavender to give to Claire.

He called his parents to tell them about the birth of his little girl and mom offered to be the one to tell Mel.  Sam called his brother Steve and told him as well as ask if there was any openings where he worked.  Steve worked in the music carreer and shared the same life aspiration to become a rock god.

“I was lucky to find my job,” Steve said, “Just keep looking on the computer, something’s bound to break, but if I hear anything I’ll call you.”

“cool, thanks,” Sam said to his older brother.

“I gotta get to work, congrads again on the little girl.” Steve said before hanging up.

No sooner had Sam hung up with his brother, and the phone rang. 

“I’m getting some friends together to celebrate my new neice,” Snow Kim’s voice came through the receiver. “wanna go celebrate your baby girl?”

The cab dropped the group of at Crypto’s Night Club.  Snow had invited along a bunch of her friends; Beau Broke, Bell Goth, Dan Crazy, Sydney Roseland and of course the new mom, Claire Kim.  The group ran into Angela Pheonix who had stopped in for a bite to eat.  A little while later Dude Lames also showed up.  Sam tried his hand at working as a DJ and noticed Bell slap Sydney.  He wondered who or what that was all about.  He also couldn’t keep his eyes off Claire.  As she danced with her sister Snow he noticed Claire was looking good for someone who had just had a baby.  With a sly smile he let the house DJ take back over. 

“come with me.” He whispered to Claire and led her to the photo booth.  It didn’t take long til they had the thing rocking so hard sparks where flying from it like fire works. When they emerged from the photo booth without photos they were greeted with mixed responses.  Most people were cheering but Bell gave him a hard slap.  Dan also had a slap for Claire.

“I’ve been getting slapped a lot recently,” Claire sighed looking at Sam.

“Maybe this will cheer you up.”  Sam said handing her a gift.  “just a few things for Samantha.”

Claire smiled and tucked it away.

Sam played the night back in his head on the cab ride home.  He smiled about his moment of bliss with Claire.  He also pondered the cause of the rift between Bell and Sydney that had them slapping each other all night until eventully a fight broke out between them bringing the outing to an end.

The next day Sam hung out at home.  He had a lot of cleaning to do.  When he took the trash out he noticed Angela Phoenix walking by.  He struck up a conversation with her.  They talked for close to two hours out front his house.

“wanna have a date?” He asked her with a wink.

Angela jumped back and waved her hands at him, “Oh, no, I’m a married woman!”

“how about just having lunch?” he laughed.

“that I can do.”  She said and followed him into the house.

“Wow! Who’s your maid?” Angela asked looking around.

Sam Paused by the fridge. “Why, something worng?”

“ah, why no,” Angela giggled, “I didn’t think a single guy would have such a clean house.  I’m forever picking up after Jimmy and the girls.”

Angela hung out with Sam the rest of the day talking about different cleaning tips.

After she left he went through the house checking to see if anything had gotten dirty then called the taxi.

He went to Cold Issue Clothing and picked up some new cloths.  He ran into Alexander Goth and struck up a conversation.  Alexander didn’t seem to have much to say other then Gina and the twins were fine.  Thanks for your condolence for Cassandra, and a quick congradulations on the baby girl.

As Alexander walked away heading for the door, Sam thought he heard him mumble something about “womanizer” and “cad”.

Spotting a group of people by the changing room Sam wandered over to see what was going on.  He found Claire and his brother, Steve playing kicky bag with some townies.  Sam hung back and cheered them on for a bit.  He wanted to watch longer but he was getting hungry and tired.  Plus he didn’t know if Claire and Steve were on a date or not.  Steve was also a romance sim.  Sam didn’t want to interfere on their night, just incase, so he headed home.

Climbing from the cab Sam saw something that sent chills through him.  Alexander Goth was kicking over his trash.  Garbage lay every where.   Sam was stunned.  How could anyone want to delebratly make such a mess.    Sam decided to prevent anyone from doing that again. he would just compost his trash in the yard.  He bought a composter and cleaned the garbage up leaving the empty can laying on the ground.  He grabbed a plate of leftovers before going to bed. 

After work the next day he realized he hadn’t seen his sisters much and decided to have them and some of their friends over for a small house party.  He invited Dan and Mellow Crazy, Dude Lames, Heart and Bobbie Happiness and Justin Kim.  Both his sisters, Lizzy and Stacie came.  Apparently he needed to spend more time getting to know them.  Justin Kim jumped into Lizzy’s arms causeing a big ruckase.  Heart slapped Justin.  Bobbie slapped Lizzy but Lizzy wasn’t going to stand for that and she slapped him back.  Sam quickly served a meal and the food seemed to distract everyone except for Dude, who spent the entire party in Sam’s room on the computer.

After everyone left, Sam cleaned up.  As he was scrubbing the counter the phone rang. 

“Next time, ask us who our friends are,” Stacie scolded over the phone.  “Don’t you ever pay attention to what’s happening in your own family?”

“Well..I..I don’t understand…” Sam mumbled into the phone.

“You’re so clueless,” Stacy sighed.  She explained what had happened as a result of Lizzy dating Bobbie.  Sam found himself repeating a lot of, “Oh, wow” and “I didn’t realize” along with a few, “I’m sorry”.
