Part 1
1. Open SimPE.
2. Select a neighborhood.
3. Make a backup of the neighborhood.
4. Did you make a backup?
- a. Yes: Continue.
b. No: Go to step 3.
5. Open the neighborhood, and make sure you're opening the right one!*
6. Are you sure you want to make the planned changes to this house?
- a.
Yes: Continue.
b. No: Stop. Go back into your game and check out the household before you mess it up.**
How to Edit Family Relationships in SimPE
Part 2
Select a sim whose relationships we
will mangle.
If the family you want isn't the one selected when you first open the
Family Ties tool (which is very likely), look in part 5 of this tutorial
(below) for how to find the right family and how to pick people from
other households.
In this case, our victim is Andrea Hogan in Bonnyview Shores. Andrea is
the target because when I opened the Family Ties tool, the Hogan family
happened to be the one selected. I saw that Andrea was living with two
people and related to neither of them so they had the misfortune of
becoming the victims for this exercise.

Part 3
Now let's add Sophie Miguel to Andrea's family.
RIGHT-click on the target sim.
Note that Andrea is still selected and we are still in the Hogan
household. I right-click on
Sophie to select her. The menu pops up and I choose to add Sophie to
Andrea's family.
Make Sophie Miguel a child of Andrea
Hogan.
Click on Sophie in the family area to select her. Then use the
pull-down menu at the bottom of the window to make her Andrea's child.

Now to try something really weird. Let's marry teen Skylar Bear to
adult Andrea Hogan. Right-click on Sklyar, add him to Andrea's family,
and then select "spouse" from the pull-down at the bottom of the window.

You can add sims from all over the neighborhood to your sim's family.
The pull-down in the upper left selects a family.
If you have Andrea selected and choose a family other than "Hogan" she will disappear. However, if you choose "All Households" she'll stick around and you can add anybody to her family.

Part 6
Skylar finally found out who his real parents are. Now he wishes he didn't know.

Even NPC's can be parents. Skylar learned that he was Gary Hiatt's woods colt, out of the furshlugginer Social Worker! No wonder she is the way she is! She couldn't keep her own child so now she runs around kidnapping other people's children!
I faithfully backed up Bonnyview Shores before I made that mess. Then when I started my game I went looking among the gazillions of houses in Bonnyview Shores for the Hogan family.
They're not there! I was editing Lake Dorothy!
But oh, it gets worse! Sophie Miguel's family tree turned out fine...
... b'b'b'but...
And if it's not bad enough that she's going steady with her father, look at how she feels about her mother!
Aaarrrggghh! So much for the sane society of Lake Dorothy!

How to create Cheat Shortcut
I can't remember who first told me how
do to this, but for those who frequently use cheats for building
houses, this tutorial should save you a lot of time when making a house.
First, open up the "My Computer" icon on your desktop and go to:
C:\Program Files\EA Games\The Sims 2\TSData\Res\Config\
Note: if you are using Sims2 university, go to: C:\Program Files\EA Games\The Sims 2 University\TSData\Res\Config\ instead.
In that folder, you will see a file called globalStartup.cheat
Right-click on the file, and select "Open With..." from the menu.
Choose to open the file with Notepad and select OK
The file should open, and will look something like this:

Select this text, and then copy and paste it into Notepad, below the text
that is already there.
Save the file, and exit Notepad.
Now, when you run the game, you will be able to activate
cheats just by typing in a single letter instead of the whole word.
To turn on one of these new cheats, hold down CTRL, SHIFT and C to open up the cheat dialog. Then just type in the letter that corresponds to the cheat of your choice and hit the enter key.
To turn off the cheat, type the same letter that you used to turn it on, except with a "-" after it. For example, to turn off the moveObjects cheat, you would type "m-"

Old Fashioned Community Lots
Hi everyone! I've finished and submitted the last of my community lots. I may create more later and would be happy to take requests if anyone wants something specific. Still dealing with this stupid HD issue!
Have i mentioned how much of a pain in the butt it is to have a HD crash? It just makes me really wish I had backed my stuff up. I went in to create a house, only to realize all my favorite floors and walls were gone. I have had to go on yet another spree to get them back. Thank goodness they were all mostly Studio K. Now to find my stairs, half walls and assorted buld sets again. Two months later and I am still trying to find a lot of my stuff. Once again though, most of it is here, so that is a good thing!
Back up your DL folder people! Save yourself my pain. LOL

Well,I have a question for you all-I'm glad many people like my screenshots,but why I have like 70 comments on screenshots and only 10 on creations?I've got 97 creations you know,and soon will submit 100th creation speacial set....
I just think it would be useless-noone interested in it...I've came to this site to share my creations with you all but seems like noone needs them....

The Game
You lost.
Anyways, the sims 3 hates me. It's not letting me finish building houses. I'll spend an hour in build mode making it perfect, then when I go to decorate it freezes. Pulling up the task manager reveals that it's "not responding". Unacceptable. I'm leaving it up to see if it unfreezes.
This week I have installed The Sims 3 three seperate times. Once when I had to reinstall Windows 7, once when I tried to get it to work on an external hard drive and again when I realised that I couldn't put it on the external. I really don't want to have to do it again.
When I was redownloading my CC I went a little crazy. I'm just under 300 package files. This time I backed everything up on my external, so if something happens I'll at the very least have that.
I just checked my task manager again. It's still not responding.
I just want to make a nice little post-apocalyptic house. That's all I ask.
New Plantation Styled Homes
Hello everyone!!! Just want to let you know about my new series of Plantation styled homes coming up. If you are into the inviting warmth of the Southern way of living, then you will love these homes, as they promote family and Southern charm. I plan to have about ten to eleven homes. They will range from small estates to large estates. I also have plans to do a Southern Plantation lot of the "Gone with the Wind home" of Scarlet and Rhett Butler. Wish me luck on that. LOL
Here is a brief description of the architecture of the Southern Planations.
With their stately pillars and grand verandas, elegant Plantation home plans evoke the gentility of the Antebellum south. Firmly rooted in Federal and Greek Revival architectural styles, single and two story Plantation designs feature a medium pitched hipped or gabled roof, elaborate friezes, and breezy balconies that sometimes run across all four sides of the home.. Although imposing, facades tend to be simple and symmetrical with evenly spaced double hung floor to ceiling windows that provide maximum natural light and ventilation to the gracious well-proportion rooms inside. Estate sized home floor plans often feature grand central entryways with double staircases leading up to the second floor while more modest examples welcome visitors into an elegant hall that runs the length of the home. Southern in style but timeless in appeal, Plantation house designs are well-suited to families who appreciate their unique combination of classical formality and relaxed country charm.
These homes will be decorated in the traditional furniture and assessories of that era. I will sneak in some moderns amenties as well as a pool, so our Sims don't get too bored with that relaxed country living.

Female warrior outfit comming up
Hi there al fantasy simmers.
Comming up a female warrior outfit made in leather and metal.
This will be the first in the line of warrior.
You will be able to get for now a dress (top) it can be worn over pants aswell cause it is a top.However i made some shorts to go with it so make sure you get those aswell .A headpiece and some boots.All are in 3 colours ,you will be able to recolour it's also in three colours accept for the headpiece.I am still working on the bikini and pj's for this line and they will come out soon after this.
So i'll hope you will enjoy it.

My Pictures, should I bother uploading?
I had been fiddling around a few months ago with doing my first painting... Ah, but I failed to create a new picture rather then just recolouring it using Simpe... so I gave up... But I can still give it a go by just recolouring...
These drawing I did myself... dont believe me? I have the originals, so thats enough proof... i uploaded them to my facebook on request cuz at the moment they are just sitting on the cold floor under my computer desk - not a good place for storage, though my Fiance promised me he'd buy me an art desk that can hold my drawings in slots so they dont crease.

I have got drawings of family members, but who here wants to see them! OMG - had to show you the Veronica one, I did that YEARS ago, when I wasn't that great!
Yeah i did get a Tad bit better over the years. Up there is my first Colour picture, I hate Colouring my sketches, it ruins them! So wondering If I should take my pictures and make them Sims 2 Compatable??? Ha, would be funny to see my own drawings in the sims 2.
What are your thoughts, if anyone does read these, I seem to be the only one who reads peoples blogs and comments on them! Guess thats why I'm in the middle of a cufuffal. hahaha!! Oh well...
I'm back baby!!!
First of all i just want to say I'M SO SORRY!! I know I promised the Jonathan Rhyn Meyers sim ages ago but i really couldn't work on it because of my college work, I'm a freshman, or was lol. But as you can see on my screenshots/gallery the sim is almost done, you don't know but there are still some details. And my 3rd version of Angelina Jolie is also very close to being released. I know i've done her two times but this one I really think it will be the last and i'm really excited to let you guys download it and play with it.
I don't know when they will be coming out but since I'm now oficially on vacation it wont be long I promise.
So stay tunned because there are some new sims coming! Thank you so much the feedback on every single one of my creations has been great!! Love you guys :)

Help needed!
Hey guys, I have some nice sreenshots for you but I just can't upload them! Everytime I try there's a blank site with a "Not valid" text :/ I've been trying for a couple of days and have no idea what to do :( Could anyone know the reason? Please, help!

I have tried out some more tutorials and I have now learnt how to create fences. Wooh! I am so pleased! They are currently pending on TSR and will be availlable to download soon :D
I have Moroccan/Islamic themed patterns out today, so go ahead and check them out. These were a request, as there does not seem to be much of that theme out there.
There is 3 Slipknot patterns up for grabs tommorow. 1 of them has been dedicted to the late Paul Gray. Slipknot is my fave band, so I felt I had to create something. I hope if there is any fellow Maggots on here, you will like them :D
After the Slipknot patterns, there is a few random ones coming. Hearts, Skulls, bats and ghost patterns.
I have about 9 more Medieval patterns waiting. This theme was so popular, I decided to create some more.
Splash Mania water park is currently pending too. This is a great lot with 2 functioning waterslides :D

Sims 3
I have some problems with TS3Workshop - I can't install it. So I have to re-install my computer and I hope everything will be ok and I will start creating things for Sims 3. I hope I will do it this week and next week I will start learning how to use TS3Workshop.

Glitch?
I have a problem on sims 3, and i was wondering if i was the only one. Recently my sims leave a pile of clothes on the floor when they change, just like they're supposed to on ambitions, right? But the only problem is, I don't have ambitions so the clothes just keep piling up in my butlers inventory! I hope to get ambitions soon, but do any of you have a solution?? ♥♥ ~~Alexia~~ ♥♥

New Wall Sets
I am very excited about the new wall coverings I made in the TSR Workshop, I will be releasing them this Friday (DV) . The walls will be fully recolor-able.
My Personal Policy
Further to a comment that I received about my Vincent Van Gogh set that I have recently published, I wish to state My personal Policy
- My work is not to be re-uploaded to any other site. I spend time making the dds and simpack files to enable custom content to be added to the game. Although images by Vincent Van Gogh are in the public domain, my package including the preview pictures are not, they are mine. if anyone wants to take a V.V.Gogh image from my page, then they are welcome to it, it does not belong to me so I have no rights to complain if someone uses it. However, the dds files and the simpack files were made by me and I do have a right as to what happens to them. If someone wants to make a set of V.V.Gogh pictures to post either here or elsewhere, then make your own, dont steal mine and claim them as your own.
Some people seem to think that all Artists do is copy a picture to a dds file and take the praise of having created them. The artistry of making custom content falls into two catorgories, one being, people who actually make meshes and create 3 dimensional objects for the game. The other catorgory is the people who take pictures, bother to learn the process of making in game pictures, and make them available to be used as paintings etc in the game. The skill in the latter catorgory is knowing what people are going to download, to know what is desired and also to make a good job of the paintings and present them in an attractive eye catching way. The Best of these people are usually chosen to be Featured and Select artists.
I Dont want you to think that I am on a high horse, but I will not tolerate people dictating their policies and beliefs to me. I abide by the rules of TSR and as long as I do, then the only people I will answer to are TSR themselves.

I am back and the door set is slowly coming together
Last week was not fun with all the packing and then the moving day between two cities, roughly 300 km one way, to round it off. It was exhausting work and it has taken me several days to recover.
I have now also decided which doors that I will take all the way into the game which is a huge step forward for me, lol. The actual work will have to wait until the weekend though. I am going to spend a few days attending a course on agile project management and I'm looking forward to it. It will be interesting and fun.
