I registered a few days ago, because I found a house on youtube which was linked to this website. And I thought: "Hey, there are a lot of beutiful houses, why not join TSR?" So I just did it and uploaded my first house (Before I forget) and it has by now 31 Downloads. That makes me really happy. It was my frist house I built by my own (with support of youtube tutorials *fG* [Half walls and stuff like that]) and I'm very thankful. Thank you all. ;D

The title says it all, I laughed so hard when I saw it. Ha ha, now we can add my least favorite room of the house to our Sim homes. EA actually did something realistic. LOL  :D

June 12th, Regency Extras Collection

Regency Extras Collection is scheduled for release on June 12th. It's a collection of Sims 3 English Regency and Vanity Fair furnishings and decorative objects for the home. LOL, the set is a little bit of everything! It features a fashion doll music box, Victorian fashion doll in a glass case, a 1-tile china display case, and much more! Most of the furnishings are re-colorable with the in-game tool!

Ok, so it is very crude and rough but it exists! Plus it works in the game too, so I did something right.

Going Green

Keilorr Creations has just gone Green!....I am chuffed to bits about earning enough Kudos points to be able to choose a profile colour. When I got my banner, my points were obliterated and the long road to 2500 points lay ahead.surprisingly though, 2500 points soon built up and here we are, quicker than I could ever imagine.....i'll probably be blue tomorrow

Bransburg Castle - TS3 Lot!

Well, I am quite sure you have forgotten I promised a castle or something to that effect, so here is the latest edition to my collection of estate/castle homes. :D It has just come out of testing, and only needs to have the previews, etc., done. Hope you like it!

Here's the stats on it:

Beds - 5 + A nursery
Baths - 4 Full and 2 half baths.
Lot Size - 60x60.
Floors - 3 Playable + the Wine Cellar. The rest are merely faux floors.
Main Floor - Large kitchen w/entry to lower wine cellar, formal dining, family room, living room, den, display area, grand staircase, access to multiple decks.
1st floor - Master bed/bath, Nursery, Art room, 2 boys rooms, 1 girls room, 2 baths, access to multiple decks and upstairs.
2nd floor - Teenage girls room w/own bath, exercise room, central study and game area.
Custom Content - None. Zip. Zero. Nada.
Patch info - I always update with the latest patches, so unless your game is completely patched it may not work. (Plus the latest patch gave me some UBER cool new patterns!)

Wow, I suck!! (Past Creations)

All in around a year, Its not that I have BAD creations, its just I displayed them so badly, Thank goodness I improved, I am quickly trying to upload creations so I dont have to look back at those ugly mistakes. People must honestly Cringe when they look at the stuff I've done, where as now I am being featured!!

I am sooooooooooo ashamed... Oh, and I just had to download my own creation cuz believe it or not, I couldnt find it on my computer database... I was looking into recolouring it, and could I find the original - NO!! So THANK GOODNESS that I submit to TSR and can download my own work... This was done back in the days where I would just "delete" and think nothing of it, as long as it was out of my game (clogs it up) now I have a external hardrive where I save the screenshot pictures as well as the file, so if ever, i can just pop it into the download file and edit away!! Of course to bring you only the best!!

UPDATE; Just uploaded my first house...Nervously biting my nails wondering what people think!! Picture was taken in Autumn so everything looks golden... but its actually a light blue and a greyish roof

Hmmmm.... what else is coming up. I attempted my first house, so I will need your opinion on that, its cool looking, but I had to deal with the colours, which I'm not happy about it, but of course you can change that!! lol I used a cheat for a sloped carport/driveway, so Highly suggest you dont remove it, dont worry, I will have the warning in the description, and instructions to fix it!!

50 000 Dowloads (What ????)

This is incredible! I have reached 50 000 downloads in 1 month and a week. I just can't believe it!!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you. I never thought of having this big number in such a short time :D. This really makes me soo happy and I will submit new creations very soon. Unfortunately, I'm having alot of problems with my sims 3 game since 2 weeks now and I'm still figuring out why..But I will do my best and create different and new stuffs. I have had my creating head on recently which will be the reason why i have not really been on TSR lately.

All my pallets in paint are ready to go for my walls and floors.

At my last count, i had 50 sub folders in Homecrafter waiting to be opened and for walls and floors to appear in them.

Hi! and well, sorry...

Hi, I'm back.  No, I haven't died or disapeared off the face of the earth.  Sorry to those who are following my story.  I totally forgot about it.  I haven't played my sims game at all recently.  I'm going to try to get on soon, so I can add some chapters to my story, but I can't make any promises.  But, do expect me to update more often over the summer. 

The sims 3 expansion pack came out recently and I plan to get it later this summer.  If anyone has gotten it, I would appreciate reviews on the expansion pack.

A Story of a Puppet - Credits

I forgot to include the credit about the story. I'm grateful to everybody who read and commented on it. Everything is from the original games and episodes, besides the doll skin color.

The skin tone is called Steampunk Robot and it's by sherahbim. She has great works.

Ubuntu

Well, I installed Ubuntu with Windows 7 a few nights ago. When I went to remove Ubuntu I deleted Windows aswell. I had to reinstall my Windows 7, thereby losing all of my saved data, including my legacy in the Sims 3.

So all of my hard work getting to the 6th generation of my legacy is gone.

All of my CC is gone.

FML.

The House is on a normal 30x20 lot, No Custom Content (I checked it in Custard) NO Evil Doll :D

I've modified this lot. It is Un-Furnished and Un-decorated internally. There are no internal walls or doors and no windows. I thought it would be interesting to see what people could make of it!

DO NOT: Change the shape of the building or add floors or basements

DO (if you want to): Place internal walls, decorate, change the garden, furnish it, put windows in, move a family in.

Ceiling Beams - Update!

Hi everyone!

I've decided to go ahead and make my ceiling beams in multiple preset sizes to avoid the lighting problems that are present in-game. I'm going to keep the 1x1 (someone may have a use for it, a small hallway or something) but I've also made 1x3 and 1x4 sizes. Based on my building habits, I've picked out six sizes that I would find most useful. I plan on having total:

• 1x1
  
• 1x3
  
• 1x4
  
• 1x5
  
• 1x7
  
• 1x10

However, I would love to know what you all think would be good sizes too. I don't want to make a beam in every size because I feel like that might be overkill.

There is some versatility, though, if you place a celing light right where two beams meet - they can be placed in succession and they will not have any shading issues.

Please, again, feel free to leave any comments you have about what sizes I should make them - after all, I am making them for you all as well, not just me!

Where was I ?...oh yes.. just a line to say that my next project is to give you some more pieces of art from the very talented 'Ashley David'...The more astute and tasteful of you out there who have already perused my site in the past (author now gives a 'devil may care toss of his locks..well he would have, if he had any to toss) will have noticed that this will be the second offering from this particular artist. This is because of the wonderful response and plentiful downloads accrued from the first set that I made.

I was myself surprised at the response but then thinking about it more carefuly, realise that you lot are a sophisticated lot and simply adore good taste..dont you?? Sneak Peak Time Again and 'Ambitions'!

Thought I'd better get a few paintings sets ready before I got 'Ambitions' and got addicted to trying out all the new stuff that involves!  Loving it so far - played a firefighter and an inventor last night/this morning (didn't get to bed til 5am - ooops!!).

My firefighter reached the top of the career and got his very own 'Woo Woo 4000' (that's a fire engine btw!!), and my inventor had just created her first 'Monster' (that's a SimBot!) when I finally had to give in and go to bed!  Not sure if it's just me, but there seems to be more humour in this expansion pack, which I like. Some are just little things like new pie-menu options, while others are more visual - for example, my firefighter explored one of the tunnels made by the mining machine and came back as a caveman - new outfit, new hairdo, but still wearing his trainers!  Anyway, I won't spoil it for everyone (unless you want me to of course!!).

So, on to the new paintings.  I've managed to get quite a few sets done and ready for upload - they just need testing in-game, but I don't foresee any problems. So my first offering is a set of two really cute ballerina bears:

Updating

Ciao, just wanna tell you that I will update my meshes in the Illusion and Dialog set! They will have new uv maps so the texture won´t be blurred or streched anymore! Horray! I also update the Filip Wallpanel which had a incorrect multiplier..

I Googled

I decided to Google "Sims 3 sims are ugly" & I came up with page after page of other people who have the same opinion.  I think maybe there are people who play Sims 3 but do NOT like the way their Sims look as well as a few people who are sticking with TS2 mainly because they do NOT like how TS3 Sims look.  My room-mate plays TS3 & some of my friends now play TS3 & nolonger play TS2.  I wanted to see if I'm the only "crazy" person or if I wasn't as crazy as my TS3 friends think I am......I'M NOT!  So I guess I'll just sit here being jealous of the TS3 players cuz they're getting new stuff to do with their Sims & cuz most of the creations are for TS3.  But I really can't see spending money on games for UGLY Sims, nor can I see having the same "aww" when they have babies.........OK so they'll be just as ugly as Mom & Dad.....poor things, & I'd also loose out on one of my biggest loves.......BUILDING (my TS3 friends have LESS Sims & only tend to focus on a few families......unlike with TS2 where we routinely have dozens of Sim families we play with).  SO......if I sit here by myself or with a throng of other people who feel the same as I do........I'm not going to "make myself" like something........I'll just keep playing what I TRULY LOVE in the 1st place.

without my game. I left the disc at my boyfriend's house, and I'm pissed.

I guess I'll write an update for my legacy since I have nothing better to do.

I'm in my 6th generation. Maureen passed on from old age and left her young adult daughter as the current last surviving member of the legacy.

I've been trying to get her to hook up with a male sim, but since the most recent patch the "romantic" social option has gone away and is unavailable. I really don't want to have to reinstall. I also have excessive amounts of CC, and I don't know how to reinstall without losing all of it. I guess I could move it to the desktop.

I can't wait for my birthday. Hopefully, I will get Ambitions. I'll be turning 19 years old on July 20th.

My boyfriend bought and downloaded the sims 3 from EA, and it loads so much faster than it does from a disc. It's not just that his computer is faster than mine, because it isn't. Loading the selected game and family takes up to five min. for me, his takes about two. I'm wondering it I downloaded Ambitions from EA if I wouldn't have to use a disc anymore, and then if it would load faster. If you know, I would appreciate a comment or something.

I may go to a party tonight. It's my friend's 25thn birthday. I want to go, but I work at noon tomorrow, so I cant stay late, and I can't have too much fun. haha. I only go to partys if my boyfriend will go with me, so I'm gonna try to convince him.

I'm getting off topic, and starting to ramble. I think I'll go wander the forums aimlessly.

Ambitions

Finally it's here and of course I installed it at once after upgrading with the patch. I have played a little today and also looked at the new features. The best one I think is that we finally can add more empty lots so we can expand the towns as we want. In edit town this is possible and there are several sizes from 10x10 to 64x64.

I placed a new lot for the Junkyard, it was a bit tricky at first to get the best location as the lot is flat but after looking around in Riverview where I'm playing at the moment, I found a place for it. I sent the Sim Bot there to dig for some junk to eat!

I've also played the career Stylist for a little while as you can see on one of my screens. A disaster it was when he tried to do a makeover but he'll get better I know.

Seven months in the name of Sims - Almost

Wow! It´s almost seven months ago since I uploaded my first creations here on TSR. I can´t believe the time has gone so fast! For along time I always wanted to have a new name.. And now it´s here, my new name, Orangetea! I will have this name on my creations and such stuff! So I´ll have my old name left.

Pull together

It seems to me that certain people, and they know who they are, are trying to rock the happy boat of TSR by reporting members for submitting certain works and complaining that they are having work refused when others are not. Maybe this is one of the reasons why submissions sometimes remain pending for a long time.

If you have a work refused, or on the pending list for a long time, then just ask why and live with it..you win some, you lose some..c'est la vie. TSR are more than fair generaly in allowing members' submitted material, as I have seen stuff from Disney and the likes in the downloads..and we all know how corporations like Disney view copyright matters.

In my opinion the best way is to use work that is in the public domain or whenever possible to get permission to use material before you spend hours putting your submission together, however, you must be prepared to accept TSR's final decision if you do not follow this way of working.

If this 'snitching' culture continues, then the seeds of destruction will surely be sewn for TSR, as copyright and having to get permission from artist will become a BIG issue and the rules will be tightened so tight it will be unworkable.  So come on members pull together, enjoy TSR and stop snitching on each other!
