Ambitions System Requirements
It looks like the same system requirements as World Adventures. I wonder if they will put in some patch to allow the game to actually recognize and use more than 2GB of RAM? I hate that I have to use CFF Explorer to go in and change that manually. I know it is easy for me to do, so how hard can it be for THEM to do? And with all of the expansions they keep adding - and the downloads they keep encouraging - and the downloads they *know* that we will be doing ourselves from fan sites like TSR, you would think that they would see the necessity of it.
Well, I can hope at least, right?

I'm still learning to use the s3pe to merge .package mods - or at least, remembering how to do that. It is surprisingly easy (other than looking for the dang 00000000000 files to delete - once you have a lot of merged files). And then it's just a matter of running Sims3 Dashboard to make sure there are no broken/conflicting mods and all is good. It REALLY speeds up the game (es[ecially load time) and helps with the game's memory usage.
Old Fashioned Community Lots
Hello again! I published a gallery with pictures of the lots I have done so far. What I have in the buildings may change before I'm done, but the appearance of each building won't change much. The colored squares in front of the buildings are the rabbit holes. I put them there so they are fully visible and easily accessible. They have worked fine like that so far, though I did have one sim get stuck when she came out of the spa rabbit hole. I will have to test it some more. I put cash registers in all the shops, but they don't always work. For example, I put a general store register in my lady's shop and even though there is a clerk standing there, when you click on that register to "buy", there are no items on the menu. I have a couple of the lots completely done, but I want to make sure I've included all the things I want before I finalize anything! Some of the lots will have rabbit holes and some will be just community lots like the library and museum. I don't know yet if I'll include the hospital and the police department or not. I thought about making one of the lots into a doctor's office and an apothecary's shop (or drug store)using the hospital rabbit hole. Any thoughts on that? I'm having so much fun with this! Barb is the sweetest, funniest sister in the world, and I am glad and happy she is MY sis! Her husband and her family made me feel at home the very first moment I set foot in there home. Love you Dan!

Why some people should NOT be on Facebook!
Make no mistake: this wasn't intended. I point-and-laugh at Twit, Twitter or whatever, and Facebook even worse because you have to do that thing of having friends, and I missed that bit out and long ago opted for the School of Rudeness instead, so I have no friends - and that is therefore why Facebook is idiotic. I have spoken.
But yes, I am on Facebook.
And so far, I have managed to make a complete and utter MESS of it!
Firstly, MsBarrows kindly pointed out to me that I didn't actually need to post to EVERYONE. Everyone? I thought 'everyone' just meant everyone who was attached as friend or what-not. Apparently not, so I apologise to Presidents, Royalty, Popes and Wil Wright (and anyone else happening to also be on Facebook) for my typo-centric posts about awful and hideous high-flush toilets. What an idiot! Thank goodness my mother isn't on Facebook is all I can say. She's not is she?
Secondly, I can't stop making an ass of myself. I submitted two posts this morning in response to another post I'd made, but now that original post is not there so my two new posts are totally out of context. Hanging there like the conversation-stoppers I manage to throw at people in Real-Life. The post I was replying to appears to be several weeks ago now.
Thirdly, I seem to have a growing number of pages that I'm failing to manage. High-Flush Toilets left me a comment somehow, but in trying to deal with that the FB account known as High Flush Toilets has since disappeared. I therefore even manage to offend my own creations. I really should keep away. I have three more pages including a "Cyclonesue" page glaring at me. I simply look away and move along now.
And finally, typos! I can make all sorts of idiotic typos when tired, but my even my most wakeful physical state is disregarded by Facebook as my keyboard rattles out utter garbage in comments I cannot return to edit several times. So not only do I look like a complete idiot to the masses on Facebook, but an illiterate one! All I need is for my employer to search me out and I'm doomed for sure.

We're leaving tomorrow... sad :( But I had a great time. When we arrived on Friday we slept for a few hours, then we went to this other place and then we had dinner with some old friends. After that my dad and I went to anoter store and then after the store we went back to the hotel. It was great! Anyway, the next morning my dad and I went to Tokyo Tower. After that we went back to the hotel, and then we came back to the hotle. After waiting for a few minutes (and I played on Facebook) we went downstairs and waited for my BFF that I was going to have a sleepover with. When she (finally) came, she had this big bag with her. For a few seconds my dad and I thought that maybe she thought she was sleeping over, but then she said ''Coming?'' and it was all okay. The bag was with her because she had just been sleeping with her dad (her mum and dad divorced). Anyway, I went to her house and we made these really cool pics with a photobooth that was really cool. And after that we went to the TAC (Tokyo American Club) to rent a movie (Bruce Almighty and Ferris' Beuller's Day Off) and then we went shopping and baked a chocolate cake while watching the movie. Then we went to bed and we played on her laptop and talked - and eventually went to bed at 3:00 am. We woke up at abot 10:00 am this morning and then we had breakfast (which we made ourselfs), we went to the photobooth again and made lots of nice pictures. And then, after that, we went to the TAC again and we met up with my dad and we had lunch together. My BFF was going to come with us to Harajuku (where we were going), but she was so tired she went back to her own house. We met up with our friends that we also had dinner with, but I was so tired my dad and I went away quickly. And now we're going to go swim so,

Happy Mothers Day!
I would just like to take this opportunity on this special day to wish all the wonderful mothers out there a very happy mothers day! To me, and many others out there, the role of a mother is the most important role a woman can undertake. It is suceeded by no other job in society and we should all appreciate the patience and devotion these women have. They sacrifice many aspects of themselves and endure many hardships to provide for their children the best way they can. The complete and undying love a mother emits to her child lasts a lifetime and for that, no words are enough to thank them.
So, to all the mothers out there, have a wonderful and beautiful day. Let your loved ones spoil you and know that we are all thinking of you. The footprints a mother leaves on a childs heart is everlasting...
New Sims 3 Paintings!
I'm finally back to creating after mega issues with my computer ....... again!
My latest set of Sims 3 paintings, "Tropical Delight", were published earlier this week, so just in case anyone missed them, here's a preview:

I will gradually be converting as many of my Sims 2 paintings for Sims 3 as possible, as well as adding some new sets. If anyone has any particular requests, please leave me a message and I will see what I can do.

Taking a Break
Due to some unavoidable onslaughts in daily life, I have to take a break from my beloved TSR for an undetermined time. Hopefully life will straighten itself out and I'll be able to come back and create more soon. We will have to see what happens. I apologize to those who have left comments that I haven't responded to. I do read and appreciate them. I just haven't had the time to answer individually.
I will still be poking my head in from time to time to see what is going on, but I won't be so actively involved. In the meantime, there are other wonderful artists here who can fulfill all your game needs.

Oh my goodness! So much has been going on!
First, my computer gets a virus on it =O It was a pretty nasty little thing too. Though after much effort to try to get rid of it, we were unable to destroy the little beast and ended up having to buy a new hard drive. And what happens when you do that? YOU LOSE EVERYTHING. I'm not talking about just a few little sims, or stories, or maybe one or two new downloads. I'm talking EVERYTHING. Houses, POOF. Sims, BYE BYE. Clothes, SEE YA. Stories, VANISHED. I was a little depressed, I must admit. In my previous blog i spoke of having too much downloaded content to where I couldn't even open up the game. Yes, I wanted to get a program that allowed me to see my content so I could clean up a bit, but now I have nothing. All that hard work and energy that I put in. GONE.
It brings a little tear to my eye =(
But, there is good news. Because of this, I can get on the game and slowly begin to redownload the stuff that I actually will use that will not collect dust in my game.
And I have even MORE good news.
I have enough content to start a new story =D No I do not have all the content to continue Hushed, but I'm working on that as we speak. Getting all that content is much more difficult seeing as how so much went into that story, and getting all the content I need for modern times will take a while.
Give me time and you will not be disappointed =)

Upcoming items
I uploaded two lots yesterday that will be available for downloading tomorrow. Unfortunatly I didn't realize that I was using some FA objects so both lots will be subscriber only. Sorry! If I have the energy to do it I will maybe do a version without the FA objects so the lots will be available to everyone.
I have also made a third lot but haven't uploaded it yet because I forgot to export it but probably later today I will do that.

Now I'm having some busy time, so I'll be unable to create anything till, say, 25th May. Life... or something like it! :D
Hey! Well, I've been out of the loop for a while, had to put my creating and learning to mesh on hold... seems real life interfers with Sims life... but, the remodeling is going well! I finally have my hardwood floors!! In the livingroom at least! The kitchen will be worked on this weekend!! WOOT! Still have the two bedrooms to do... but, I've got all the walls and trim painted in the livingroom and hall... I've got the kitchen papered - THAT was a chore.. I had to strip off 3 layers of old wallpaper - ungodly stuff it was too! - I've got the cabinets all sanded and re-painted... I just have the two bedrooms to take care of before we can put the flooring in them... BUT... well, seems I might have to have surgery on my elbow... I had a slight run-in with a heavy cabinet door, and they think I might have torn the tendons in my elbow, and damaged the "tunnel" that the nerve runs thru... lol When I do it, I do it big! :D I'm having some tests next week - EMG and NCV ,, don't ask, I haven't a clue! Then they'll decide what to do... should know in a couple weeks what's going to be happening... till then, I'll have a bit of time to "play", and hopefully work on meshing...
I got my "disk authentication failure" problem fixed... seems my DVD drive was trying to die on me! A new drive seems to have fixed that! {fingers crossed}... so hopefully, I'll be creating something in the next couple weeks! Hopefully something someone likes and can use!!

Polls and pitfalls
Creating a poll is tricky - and editing them isn't easy - can't shuffle the questions around it seems - pleh! Now how do I close the first one and show the second? Maybe I should have read the manual before jumping in headfirst :P To be continued...
Shuffle, shuffle, shuffle
Do you know that little puzzle game where you have a square of sliding tiles with one missing and you have to slide them around till you have the proper picture? When I was small, I always used to break out the tiles in the end and stuff them back the proper way, just like I 'broke' my Rubic cube by pulling off the coloured squares and sticking them back on :D
Anyway, that's what I have been doing with my minisite too. I discovered there are heaps more pods available, so I have been adding, removing and re-adding some, shuffling them around until I thought I had a bit of a presentable 'shop window'. I hope you guys find your way around it too :)
All this was to accommodate some more of my screenshots. Mutske has made some fabulous window sills and I wanted to show them off in my game. Now I also realise I accummulated in the last few months such an immense amount of CC, I really should start a database before I can't properly credit all those artistic creators any more. If you have any ideas how to do that properly - or just give tips how you keep track of your CC - feel free to comment!
Somewhat Lacking
Hey people. Maybe you've noticed that I haven't been doing much lately. I've been ridiculously busy. Real life has finally caught up to me, I think. I got a part time job, so that's been taking up any extra time. Then, I'm finishing up my senior year, so I've had so many different things every day. Today was my last day of high school! With that said, I'll definitely have more time to create and make up for my lack of recent creations....
I hope you're as excited about this summer as I am!

TS2 and TS3 News
Well glory be! I have finally gotten all caught up on my comments from you absolutely WONDERFUL people! :D Didn't I tell you I wouldn't erase any and would answer all of them personally? Hmmm? Well there you go then! All kidding aside sim lovers, thank you very much for so many fantastic comments! They sure do make a simmer want to make even more things just to hear from you all. (((Hugs!)))
TS3 News -
Speaking of simming, I have a new mesh set coming out this Thursday. Why this Thursday? Well that is supposed to be the day my divorce is final, so I should have most of the day to answer comments and questions. You know, things like, "What in the heck-over possessed you to make something from Ancient Greece? Is there even an Ancient Greece destination?" Things of that nature. (In answer to the above question, I adore Greece and its amazing history! Not to mention that I've had a few people asking about ancient items that just aren't available anywhere else. So there you go...now don't ask! :P ) The first of the sets is the Living Room. It includes 8 meshes...3 seater sofa, chair, 2 tile coffee table, end table, a large and a small vase, as well as a harp that is actually a radio. (Ok...stereo, but you get the point!). Yes, the harp works, but unfortunately when it is on you still get the air movement caused by the original stereo. It's actually really cool looking. LOL! Hope you re-creators out there enjoy it. ;)
As for lots...I have plans on creating a large mansion/chateau type lot as well as a smaller family type lot. So be on the lookout for those when they are complete.
TS2 News -
So, you thought I'd all but given up on TS2? Bah! I guess you didn't realize how big a building addict I actually am, did you? LOL! I have plans on creating a "Garden Set". These will be lots centered around a garden/landscape scheme, and hopefully will make you all want to go out and garden...er, with your simmies that is. ;) Don't panic. The plants I want to include are "maintenance free" and will not require gardener care. I also intend to use Uni/NL/OFB/SEAS/BV. Just a heads up before they come out. Keep your eyes peeled and hopefully they won't disappoint.
Well, that's all for now, and thank you ALL for being so patient while I got this divorce and relocation with my 5 year old settled a little. It's still going to be a month or so before I can be back to (mostly) normal, but at least you know what's coming up! Thanks again for your patience, and for letting me play with meshes for a bit! I do LOVE meshing, but my first love will always be building and decorating simmie homes. Ta for now!

Cornucopia World
I've downloaded a world from the official Exchange site. It's the most recommended world since the CAW tool came out. It is a complete world called Cornucopia and was made by Shalua. She will make more worlds during the summer vacation. It's a great world. In the 3rd part of my story The Hunter Twins Travelling you will see screenshot of it. But today it gave me another big surprise. I started that world from zero in order to try something out. I put someone in a cheap unfurnished house and when I started, a message came up asking if I wanted to accept a challenge with the house. I accepted but my test Sim didn't like that at all because there was so much dirt and even rats running out of the dirt. Perhaps the world offers more challenges. It i really worthy to download it. I do strongly recommend it.

Catching up...
It has been just over a year since I moved and I finally redid my computer a few months ago too. I've started playing the TSR Challenges again to get back into the swing of things.
I'm disappointed that to play Sims 3 I would need to buy *another* new computer... I had to do that to get to play Sims 2. So for the current time being there is not Sims 3 in my future.
I have no clue where the disc for the graphics editing program I was using to make objects ended up. At this point I would have to almost completely start learning all over again. I'm undecided on that until the disc comes to light.
QUADRO BATHROOM UPDATE
I have updated sinks and the cabinet from the Quadro Bathroom. I fixed all the existing slots (no more floating objects) and also added some new ones. Hope you will enjoy it.

Dear All
In two hours time I'll be on my way to Heathrow Airport with my dad. Why? We're going to Japan! Why? Because I'm going to visit my BFF EVER there!!! It's going to be so much fun! :) We'll land at 09:00 on Friday morning (Japanese time), for me 01:00 in the morning!!! But that doesn't really matter, as my dad and I are going to do lots of stuff (for example look at my old house where we lived in for 3 years). Then of Saturday I'm going to go to my friends house, and we're going to have a sleepover. After that, on Sunday, my dad and I are going to the last bit of sight-seeing, and then on Monday we're travelling back to England. It's going to be SOOOO much fun!!!!!
Very Busy
I will be getting the next chapter of "The Fae of Dolphin Cove" ready tomorrow for upload. I need a few more screenies. I meant to have it done by now but I've been very busy working on a house I just uploaded to TSR. "The Old Olson Farm" is on a 60 x 60 lot and I used a lot of custom content. I have spent the past 2 days researching item numbers preparing for the upload. I'm sure glad that one is done! I love to build and share, but looking up item numbers can be frustrating.

Graduating = no updates
Hi, I'm graduating from high school this month, so logically there won't be any updates from me any time soon. I'll be back maybe at the end of the month.

Subscribers items
Well, i had 2 houses ready for uploading, with subscribers items. But would it go up.. Noooooo -.- It had some problem figuring out what to do with some of the items, someone else has the same problem as i have? Its a lot of work i have laid down on thoose two, one Sunnybrook and one Victorian. But, i think i just delete them again, and after this, i will try not to use subscribers items. If it is, people can change furnisher by them self if they like the house. Or I could submit unfurnished houses, but i dont know if the bath and kitchen are furnished then, cuse they are in the game if you buy a house without furnisher. Its a bit dissepointing cuse i have downloaded a lot of items i cant use now. Well i can change a house after i have uploded it xD Well, as people may have noticed, i like to build small houses, that fit into the town. I dont like when the houses are bigger then the rabbit holes (community houses ) It looks a little bit wierd when you have the townwiew on :/ I continue my building, cuse i cant stop with it LOL, And to all that have downloaded my houses, hope you enjoy them ^^

I know one thing I love TheSimsResource and have since 2003. I love coming to this site. It has so many things to offer.
Can someone tell me where I can go to get a look at sims3 and do I have to go online to have it or play it?
I am just a housewife and just play the sims2, ALOT, I am trying to find out more about the sims3 before I buy it.
You know pig in a poke and all that stuff. I really want to see it in action first and I hope I can play it without going on line.
I found I just can't get into the Sims3, It moves to slow for me, I have the original and 2 of the expansion packs and the hint book.

TS3 Something Missing?
Is that favourite painting from TS2 (any expansion pack not stuff pack) missing from your TS3 game? Or do have a favourite picture/painting that you would love to have in your game and you can not find it anywhere? Would you like a picture of YOU in your TS3 game.
If you answered YES to any of the questions then maybe I can help. I am now taking requests for such pictures/paintings. Let me know what TS2 picture you like (please bear in mind that I DO NOT make custom meshes and any pictures/paintings would be on a Maxis mesh, so the size of the picture would probably be different in TS3).
Or if you have found an image/picture or set of images/pictures on the net that you would love in your game and you havent found them elsewhere, then please let me know here in my blog leaving a link to the image/picture.
If you would like a picture of YOU your children, family, pet or even your wedding day. You would need to post the picture in YOUR blog so I could have access to the picture to make you a TS3 picture for your game (please note other people would be able to download your picture of YOU or YOUR CHILDREN or YOUR FAMILY or YOUR PET but I would not put the name of the person in the title of the picture, unless you wanted me to of course)
