Back to Creating!

Well, finally got back to playing TS2 semi-regularly a month or two ago, and have resumed creating for same. I've put out a few of sets of things so far - some windows and doors based on the "Smitty Classy's Grand Opening" door from Apartment Life, and a second much bigger set of windows and doors based on the "Double Eloquence Doorway" from same. In making the Eloquence set I figured out how to make working restroom doors (ie, ones that properly exclude people of the wrong sex), so I also made a couple of sets of restroom doors, one set based on the base game doors, and a second set based on EP doors.

I'm now midway through work on a set of windows and doors based on the Old World Doorway, Old World Small Window, and Old World Large Window from Apartment Life.

Note - the blue door and windows in the front row are the original meshes.

Overall I'm very pleased with how the set is progressing, and hope to have it out some time within the next week or two - if the dratted thing will stop growing! Every time I work on it I seem to think of another variation of archway, window, or door panel that I'd like to try.

Dolormite Kitchen: Parts fixed

New Subbie!

Well, I just got a new subscription, and I downloaded ALL of the Newsea hairs! xD So some of you may be confused as to what is going on with my stories, well here it is:

Back to basics

I never thought the day would come. But I missed my sims so much... And my computer is not fixed yet (some problems occured). And I only have my good-for-nothing laptop. So... I actually installed the first Sims. Not for long really. Just created a family, moved them in, and my enthusiasm faded. And I used to love that game so much! But it's interesting to get a glance and compare how it was and how it is now. And it gave me an idea. I won't make any promises as I don't know how much time will I have (most likely little if any), but I want to remake the houses from the first sims games in the Sims 2 or 3 (haven't decided yet, maybe both). Maybe that's nothing new and someone did that already and I don't know, but I'd still like to do it myself and have it in my game. If this idea comes to reality some day, I promise to share the results.

On a happier note. I should have my computer back tomorrow, finally. But it will take time to install everything anew. I have all backups, so nothing's gone, don't worry, but I still have to put it all in there, so it will take some time. But I had a part of Strangetown Chronicles written, I just couldn't upload it. Hopefully all will work now and you will get it this week. If something goes wrong though, I'll let you know!

The Return of Veronika Storm

Real life took over during March and left little time for anything else. Luxury Textured Vinyl Anaglypta For TS2

I have made a set of patterns for TS3 and as I posted here before I would do a set of wallpapers for TS2 as well. It would be help full if peeps could let me know the colours they would like these wallpapers in. I have picked 1 colour already - Espresso...As seen on the snowflake design wallpaper. Charming the Gnome

I've got some NPCs before charming the gnome and I have wondered if this can happen to our sims as well. Tonight I got this confirmed as I was playing my Sasha. She sat and charmed and the first thing that came up was the Gnome.

I create a dress.I named it "Bihter Dress".Bihter is a Turkish name.And it is very popular name.Because It's a name of a series character.

In Turkey,there is a TV Series as "Aşk-ı Memnu".Aşk-ı Memnu means"liaison"in English.In Turkish ıt means"Yasak Aşk".(Aşk-ı Memnu is an Arabic word.)

In this series,Bihter loves Adnan and gets married with him.Then she is in love with Adnan's nephew,Behlül.And also Behlül loves Bihter too.So,liaison starts.Series is currently playing on TV.And It breaks rating records.(This series made from a book.The name of book is Aşk-ı Memnu too.)

I inspired from this series,because Bihter wears very fashionable and feminine clothes in this series.And I create a clothes like Bihter wears.I hope you'll like it and you understood me.

...yep, I'm building another one! I've taken a couple of days away from making paintings...and I've been building all day today, and yesterday..I'm currently making a more modern lot..well, very modern actually...and I've been putting all my favourite store items in, so there are several items from several different sets, but i like it :-) ...and I think I may have overused Murano's Bamboo pattern :-D ..it's on just about everything...as you can see ;-)

I've added a few more windows to the front since i took this screenshot...and added some colour inside..

haven't quite finished it yet, but I've been building for about 7 hours today, and I really need a break...

As you've probably noticed I didn't go out today :-( (need to remedy that situation!) so I think it will be correct in saying that I have been here, in front of the pc, all Easter...which is ok, but I really need to go out and do something..I could have had a really exciting weekend instead of being stuck at home...

Anyway...hope you like it, when I eventually finish it, which may be later or tomorrow(yeah, guess what I'll be doing tomorrow!)...(c,mon girl, get off your backside and DO something about it)...

about me

I love Sims3, it's always sims3. Every morning I wake up and jump onto the internet and see what's happening with the sims3. I'm now challenging myself with creating unique homes, but unable to upload to TheSimsResource, don't know why! But I love the create-a style tool, I can just spend hours just playing around with theis tool, and not actually playing the story progression, just the style tool, intetrests me the most, though I'm very much looking forward to the new EP-Ambitions!. I've always wanted to be a fire-fighter in the sims3 game.

Well enough of me for now, I'll continue on creating sims.

Create a World

A big THANK YOU to all of you who have been posting comments on my creations in my absence! 

I know, I know....I made all these promises about making at least one item a month at some point last year, but, well, I couldn't predict that the Create a World tool was going to be made at the time and, naturally, it has consumed me since I decided to actually dive into it around the beginning of this year. So, yeah, that's where I've been. 

How many of you out there are also experimenting with this tool? I'm enjoying it, learning a lot, and CERTAINLY can't wait for my world to be complete, but my GOD, I wish I knew about some things the first time through. I just discovered, after months of hard work on the world I wanted, that my world was too small to allow for the camera and Sim routing to work the way I wanted it to (meaning where the camera can/can't go and where Sims can/can't walk). This resulted in a completely new start on a new world this week. Yeah, it's sad after all the work I already did, but I can't say some good hasn't come out of this. I actually think I like the terrain of World #2 a LOT better, and I made sure to do the majority of both my camera- and Sim-routing early on in the process before even starting to lay down my roads. Now I know exactly what my Sims are going to see, where they'll be able to go, and better yet, where my roads will actually be able to fit within routing boundaries. There will no doubt be a little tweaking once the roads are laid down, since I will probably have to adjust some terrain to make sure my roads are smooth, but the tweaking will be minimal.

As I said, I've been learning a lot. :) 

So out of curiosity.....

1) What kinds of things would you want to see in a new world? Certain lot sizes? Different terrain paint? Etc., etc.

2) If you are also using this tool, what have your challenges been?

I've been building lately - and they're all huge lots and never small enough to upload, it looks like I'm just too keen on embellishments :P - and am also trying to build a new world.  Now that's not easy.  I've been on the point of chucking in the towel a few times, but slowly, slowly we're trying.  It will take me much more than 7 days though ;)

Birthday Weekend.

My Birthday passed, it was April 2nd and I turned 19. :D I had an amazing day and I went out to dinner with my family and my best friend. We went to this restauraunt called "Outback Steakhouse" The food was sooooo good! LOL Then afterwards we went to go see Tyler Perry's new movie "Why Did I Get Married Too" it was the best movie I've ever seen, it teaches you a lot of life lessons about love and appreciating your spouse for who they are. I loved it, I reccommend it to anyone if you love movies with drama, romance, and has you leaning on the edge of your seat. I haven't felt this happy since my 16th birthday. LOL I had a really amazing, wonderful, spectacular 19th birthday and I've been blessed with such a wonderful family and great friends. I enjoyed my day and look forward to many more birthdays and holidays with my family.

P.S. I thought my outfit was so cute(well that's what I thought). hehe :)

Starting to Create!

Hey!! Since I've been having some difficulties with all of the other programs (other than TSR Workshop) that you need to make custom content, I've been thinking. I might start making Sims and putting them on here and the exchange. I will be excepting requests for celebritiy Sims, also. Or, if you just want me to make you a Sim, or a Sim look-a-like. Just let me know! I will try to let you know where I got the hair, make-up, etc. If I don't, and you know who made it, please leave a comment on it!

April 5th, Regency Collection II

Regency Collection II is scheduled for publication on April 5th and it features English Regency inspired furnishings and decorative objects from the private collection of L.E. Ashcroft IV. The set includes a fainting chaise, 3 styles of candelabra, chandelier, tea service, china cabinet, and decorative only placesettings.

That's right, you read it right guys :3 I'm continuing Lorelei. Only with a tinsie change - well maybe a BIG change. Since my laptop died and I lost all my game files, I have to remake all the characters from scracth @_@ and I thought blegh! I'm gonna try new stuff and make them OLD lol
