New Set!
I'm sorry I haven't been around lately. Real life has been totally crazy. I finally managed to get a new set out to you for Sims 3, but now I will be away for a week or two, so nothing else will be coming after this one for a bit.
Hopefully I can get back into a more regular schedule after my return.
I really appreciate all the comments and holiday wishes I've received, though I haven't had the time to answer them. I really appreciate all your comments and good wishes. It means a lot to me. Enjoy! I'll be back before you know it!
Oh my...
Not feeling so well today, haha. Self inflicted though, so there's no use complaining. I had one too many Christmas drinks last night with my family but at least I was with good company. Hopefully I'll be feeling better soon and I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas as well!
A New Year
As we quickly sail into 2010, it's time for a short update. With the release of 'New Day', I will take a tiny short break in order to complete a technology upgrade. Although my macbook pro is only 8 months old, I have been taxing it's graphics processor to the max. It's equipped with two NIVIDIA chips; a 9400 with 256 MB of dedicated memory and the 9600 GT with a 512 chip, but it wasn't built for such robust graphics processing as the Sims3 requires. So a new iMac with an ATi Radeon 4670 is on it's way, and hopefully I will have completed the data transfer by NYE. I'll still hang onto my macbook, as it's great for travelling, but most of my future builds will be on the new iMac.
I hope everyone has a great holiday season and a wonderful new year. And stay tuned for many new builds from Qube Design in 2010.

I've been having some computer issues right now, I'm working on getting fixed as soon as possible! When I do, I will begin uploading my creations. I've got a ton of cool stuff on my computer that I'd like to share, so stay tuned!

Dear All,
I have been extremely busy in the real life. My daughter hasn't been well, and since she's been ill over 2 years, it's starting to show in my health as well. I have been far too tired to do anything but what must have been done to survive every day life. I have no idea if she'll get any better in the near future, but at least I still hope so.
I have missed this community and I also have no idea how my poor simmies are doing (both sims2 and sims3). Haven't seen them for months.
I wish you all a Very Merry Chrsitmas and aal the wonderful things for the becoming New Year 2010!! I also hope to see you more often:)!!

Legacy part 2
Well, Leann, my founder, is doing well. She had a beautiful baby girl named Elise.
Leanns husband did die due to electrocution, so that wasnt too good, but the science labs brought him back. So although he is a ghost, he can still work and everything, including impregnate Leann again, which he did.
Elise is a toddler now. Leann taught her how to walk already, now on to potty training.
I did some rennovations to the house. The babys room is bigger now because apparently cribs dont fit in that small of a room. I need to add another room for Elise to move into to the new baby can be in the same nursery.
Well, Im off to work. Happy Holidays and the like.

Christmas Wishes!
Hey everyone, thank you all so much for the lovely festive wishes you've all been sending. I'm so busy at the moment that trying to get back around all the people I should be writing in their Guestbooks just isn't going to happen.
So I'm writing my blog to wish everyone the best Christmas ever and hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year.
Here's hoping 2010 brings everyone good fortune and all they wish for. We've not been able to put our Christmas tree up this year due to a lack of room but we've got some Christmas decorations up and a lovely Poinsettier in the window.
And I have a new picture of the wee boy to show you all. He's excited for Christmas but isn't quite sure why everyone else is excited and I am looking forward a lot to seeing his face when he spots all the presents this year at my parent's house.
Starting my legacy
I started my legacy a few days ago. I will be uploading screenshots of my founder soon hopefully. She has already reached level 7 of the business career.
Her house is so pathetic. It is getting better though. Last night she had enough money to build a second bathroom, livingroom, and a childs bedroom. They arent furnished yet, but they have wallpaper, doors, and flooring.
I have to go wrap some christmas presents.
Downloads not showing up in game?
He everyone. I haven't had too many reports of content mysteriously going missing from the game so far - but now they are starting to come in more frequently. This issue is because of the latest EA patch, in their attempt to.. do whatever it is they were trying to do. Supposedly there was speculation they were trying to disable any non-store content. Anyways, there is currently no solution to this - at least, no solution that we creators can implement - to make the content show up again.
I do not have this patch installed, and am using a previous version of Workshop, so my game is still functioning and I do intend on continuing to create content, just not quite at the same rate - seeing as apparently half the people who download something won't be able to see it in game. Please be patient, we just need to wait for EA to fix it!
New home submitted today
I just submitted a new house I've built, and I have my fingers crossed that it shows up alright for people with patch problems.
It's a small-ish place designed for a bachelor(ette) who loves to party, strangely I had Don Lothario in mind while I was creating it.

I haz new laptop now?
It turns out my laptop is beyond repair but they can save all the files so they can transfer them to my new laptop. To summarize, I'll have a new improved laptop and my old sims 2 files if all goes well. YAY! But I've just gotten a new laptop and my old files are getting transfered tomorrow. Updates may come back!

Wow. What more can I say?
I went to see the new movie, Avatar, last night and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. The effects were incredible, the idea was original and, although it went for around three hours, it was completely entertaining. Now, I'm not a big sci-fi fan at all but you don't have to be to see this. It's got a wonderful storyline with a bit of romance and it definitely gets your imagination working, but the effects just make it that something else. It's also got our own Aussie as the starring role, Sam Worthington, and he did a wonderful job. James Cameron was the director of Avatar so we shouldn't have expected anything less than extraordinary. His last film was the highest grossing film of all time, Titanic (need I say more?).
I recommed everyone go and see it, even if it's just to see what all the buzz is about! :-D
TUTORIALS! TUTORIALS! TUTORIALS!
Hey guys - most of the messages I get are from people wondering how to make an attached garage. I have three tutorials on Youtube under my screen name KBradley03 (just search and you'll find me). One is a video of the old method I used, and two are detailed slideshows. One shows you how to make simple attached garages (a SUPER easy method, the one I use now) and the other shows you how to make attached garages that are on the side of a house, instead of in the front (a little more advanced). In addition to those, I also have a few other tutorials for other building techniques that are easy to follow (attics, dormer windows, sloped driveways, etc).
Just send me a private message if you want the links, or search for them yourself. Also, if you have any questions just shoot me a message and I'll get back to you ASAP!

Out with Old, In with the New! - Terrain Paint updates
Just a quick post to let you know that my Great Outdoors Terrain Paint set has been updated. The terrains now work with both the round and square brushes and the file sizes have been reduced.

I've received quite a few requests for my "Hole In The Wall" windows from Sims 2 - and some factory windows. They're on my list for sure - consider them done (except they're not, so I'm just monopolising the idea as usual...). I need to finish off a new Alpine spin-off first (Marina Roofline 30-degree windows), but I do plan on bringing back (or more accurately, making from scratch because I was a lazy Sims 2 mapper - and that doesn't do for Sims s) those hole-in-the-wall windows, and I do look forward to a new series of factory-style windows too. What they will be, I don't know yet, but I have lots of ideas!
The toilet set isn't coming yet. I need a repair made to Workshop first, but when it is, I'm good to go with it - I even have a fab and grim cubicle door made ready!
The Jade Princess
I'm sorry all, there is going to be a little delay before I get the next chapter of The Jade Princess out and will most likely not have time to submit it until after Boxing Day (the 26th). I am waist deep in tenders and overtime at work with little time to do anything at home but answer a few messages and sleep. Then of course there are the inevitable family obligations at this time of year :D which I'm not complaining about because I will take any opportunity I can get to kisscuddles from my nieces and nephews.
The good news is that the office closes for almost 2 weeks over the end of year break and I will catch up then (and hopefully get ahead), I promise!

Story Time again
I decided to finally make a story about one of my favourite Sim Families. The Fields.
Lobster Thermidor & Autumn Salad.
Unfortunately, thanks to me patching the game a couple of weeks ago, I am now not longer able to play this household... I do regret that very much, but hopefully I will be able in the future. I didn't patch the game with the latest patch yet, I read so many horror stories about that one! So...this time...not a horror story but I think a good story (I hope) about food...??? No...about life, and the ingredients that are used to make a good life.

Uploading My Lots to the Exchange As Your Own
I uploaded my first two lots to TSR, and on the first day someone uploaded my Stonecreek Chateau to the Exchange as their own. I was going to post some of my other lots here, but now I'm having second thoughts. I have been posting on the Exchange since Sims 3 came out and I have not had this problem until now.

What better window than this?!
A window that lets in bugs, and creepy-crawlies and, best of all, freezing draughts! Yes, the insufferable ventilation brick that building surveyors drone on about: "You should have at least four of those in your front wall otherwise you'll have damp!" Yeah, right - do I LOOK stupid and in need of an excess of spiders?!
This will be a two-window set: one that places low and one that places high on the wall. I don't want to make any uber-big sets whilst we're waiting on an end to this miserable patch situation we have, but this is something small to be less than impressed with in the meantime...
Patch broke my gaaaame!
Ok, something very strange is happening at my house this Christmas. My Sims 3 game worked fine with all CC apart from hair after the latest patch, and it even let me install new stuff.
But since yesterday evening, I'm suddenly unable to install anything at all. The launcher says successfully installed, but then the items don't show up as being installed, and don't show in game.
Obviously this makes things seriously different when it comes to making new CC. I'm creating and creating but I'm unable to test or take screenshots of anything, or do any fine tweaking, because I can't see what it looks like in the game!
Therefore I apologise in advance because I am about to attempt lot building again, to vent my creative frustrations, and we all know how that turned out last time.
