Eaglewood Run
I've just completed a new small lot for Sims3, Eaglewood Run. This beautiful home is sophisticatedly styled with many traditional details, yet is still fresh and modern. This 3 bedroom, 4.5 bath pool home is on a small 30 x 30 lot, and is constructed and decorated to the high standards of Qube Design.
While looking stately and elegant from the curb, this home features an innovative plan with a fully developed basement with garage, home theater, gym and laundry room. Essentially two wings separated from a large foyer and hall space by two glass 'light bridges', this home is perfect for a young, growing SIM family that will still offer the busy parents a quiet, peaceful retreat. For the design thesis, I thought about how this young family might live and chose classic, timeless pieces, and utilized a compound colour scheme to compliment the abundant use of natural oak through out. Large, graphic patterns in muted colours make a bold, modern statement yet provide a high level of quiet elegance and serenity. In dealing with a smaller space I've also utilized many mirrored walls, ideal for visually expanding the space and reflecting light around the rooms. Upon entering, you are greeted with a large oak-panelled foyer, opening to a large hallway with oak staircases and a 3 storey wall of glass overlooking the pool and garden (definitely NOT what you were expecting from the large stone front porch). To the right, across one of the light bridges, is a large family kitchen, breakfast nook, powder room and formal dining room. The kitchen features a funky, fresh approach to the usual boring kitchen cupboards, and there are wonderful French doors out to the terrace which overlooks the pool. To the left of the foyer is a beautifully styled living room and a warm, cozy den. Why not curl up that chair and read a good book? Downstairs to the basement, you will notice that the rear of the house features a full walk-out basement that opens to the sparkling pool. The long corridor has been stripped of decor colour in order to serve as a spectacular art gallery. At one end lies a large, sound-proof media room with marble fireplace and spectacular gold-leaf painting (thanks to Xerenity at simnational.com), and at the other end is a home gym with ensuite, which could be converted to another bedroom or study. There is also a full laundry room with washer and dryer (thanks to Melcaramel at www.toolregame.com), and an enclosed garage. Upstairs, this home has been smartly designed with a 'children's wing', featuring two bedrooms with attached ensuites, and a separate (and quiet!) 'parent's retreat wing', featuring an elegant bedroom with marble fireplace, and a sumptuous marble bath designed to spoil you. Why go the spa? Sit in your large tub and enjoy your beautiful garden. Another innovative design feature on the upper floor is the twin study alcoves in the upstairs hallway - ideal for completing homework while under the watchful eyes of the parents. Special thanks to www.simsartgallery.net for their amazing picture mods, and www.stylistsims.net and mangosims2.free.fr for their new beautiful furniture collections. Also, great thanks to the inspiring game mods available at www.modthesims.com, especially Lemoncandy for the plant recolourings and Srikandi for the mods available in build-mode, and the FreshPrince for the beautiful new Lexus IS F (I love this car!!!! but don't worry, there's still room in the garage for a Prius). More thanks to 'SimsLulamai' for the custom bath fittings and new curtain meshes. Finally, thanks to all the brilliant content artists here at TSR. Specifically Shino&KCR and Angelamveliza for their beautiful bath fixtures, Mutske for his plants, Pilar for his spectacular mirror and classic dining chair (my favourite design pieces). All the artists here at TSR are amazing! Please enjoy this beautiful home from Qube Design. Available Oct 30th.

Submitted my first item of clothing for TS3!
It's just a simple t-shirt, but I followed the tutorial I used word for word and was very careful, so I was able to program in channels, so it's fully recolourable! I think my brain's going to turn to mush after all of that concentration. I seriously, SERIOUSLY admire you guys who are making clothes all of the time - I guess it's probably second nature to you when you've been making clothes for a while, but when you're first starting out like me, your brain is screaming for help! LOL!
I made a few mistakes, which led to some weird, strange results to begin with, but thankfully, I was able to retrace my steps, keep calm and try again. I was even able to use what I had learned in the tutorial thus far, and complete the t-shirt in a slightly different way. Kind of add my own little twist to the whole thing.
Waiting for it to be approved now...I don't see that I've fluffed it up in any way, so hopefully, it'll be approved without any problems...keep watching my Upcoming Items box for the preview. Any feedback, as always, is appreciated!
Going to give my poor brain a rest and make some easy Sims to upload to here now. LOL!
Room divider
Completed the room divider just now and here is a preview

World Adventures Preview Update...
Preview is tomorrow!!! Have had an update from EA to say that I will get about 5 hours to play. France won't be avaliable and China might not be either. Some people have posted questions for me to answer on Sim Operations so there should be some answers up there tomorrow.
If anyone has any questions they would like answered let me know and I'll do my best!!!
Pattern rescued from the bin
Sometimes I make patterns that I don't like, and I bin them. There, I said it. I am a binner.
Today I was sorting through my TSR file storage, and I found a pattern that I no longer had the files for on my PC. It is a binned pattern. I downloaded it and played with it, trying to work out what was wrong with it. It wrapped perfectly, looked great on cushions, and the palettes were reversible meaning you can get a whole range of different colour effects on it. I admit it, it is beyond me why I ever binned this pattern.
So I have rescued this pattern from the deep, dark, murky depths of the bin, cleaned it off a bit, and now I present it to you. Hope you like it!
Download here from Sunday 1st November

Alright! I'm starting to find my way around this interesting site!
Just can't believe I didn't know about it before and me being such a Sims freak! Not being able to start collecting expansion packs for the Sims3 - and finding the official Store rather pricey - I was moaning to a friend and she pointed me this way. A new world opens before me - not to forget new toys to play with - I'm wrestling myself through all the tutorials for the TSR workshop and hanger-on programs - one day I hope to be able to upload my own stuff too :D
*off to do some more exploring*
Just submitted first CC for TS3!!! Griiiiin!!
Yes, I worked it out! FINALLY! Didn't really help that the majority of my day yesterday was taken up by trying to fix TS3 in the first place...still got a load of CC to put back where it was before, but I have more than enough installed to make decent enough Sims to upload for the time being...anyway, here is a preview of my makeup that I have just submitted for review:

It may not look like much compared to other CC that is on the site these days, but for a first attempt, I'm pretty proud of what I achieved!
Please let me know what you think!
Poll Results - Profile Banner
Thank you to everyone who took part in my poll about Profile Banners and how you make them....or if you make them! It was interesting to see what programs people used and whether someone else created their banners for them. I feel a bit left out as it seems I'm the only one using MC Powerpoint. You see I have used this program before for work so I already know how everything works. (Almost everything). Maybe oneday when I have the patience I will give photoshop a try.
Happy Simming and not long now until World Adventures! Yey!

Hello all Don't you just hate it when your PC needs work
I just had to download all my Sims again. Because I had to fix my PC. I just need to buy anoter PC so I don't have my kids on mine to mess it up any more. Ther is a good and an sad side to starting the game over. If you had to to this befor you know what I mean. Any ways I have some playing to do. Have a great day!
Progress
I managed to get the patterns I wanted on the tablelamp after nearly 20 times, and the workshop crashing several times. There is something not working right with the pattern selecter. Anyway, I finished the lamp so I have 3 objects now and I have started on a roomdivider. But I'm also making some more 'recolors' of paintings in between each object as you might notice in my upcoming pod.

A closeup of the tablelamp with the variations I have in the package.

Expect more painitings too and also new frames in the future.
Night now from

Pod Thanks
Found the prompt to add pods...call it one of my *duh* moments! Thank you to all who helped!
Fixed it...after six hours...
Fixed TS3...thank god...I can't believe I've been trying to fix it for the past six hours or so. Now, I have to install all of the sims3pack files back to where they were...without Merlin...which is going to take an age, but hey, at least this way, I know my CC is going to work when I boot TS3 up afterwards.
Will try and put back as much of the custom stuff as I can and if I'm not sick and tired of seeing the Launcher screen by then, I may make a Sim or two.
Today has been a very trying day. LOL!
The Pumpkin family, my new Sims 3 creations
Hi all,
Today, my new downloads are The Pumpkin family. Peter and Peggy are the mother and father. Pippa is the eldest daughter. Then the two young toddler twins, Patty and Phillip.
They have been created with Halloween/Harvest in mind and are not evil like my witch, wizard and clown creations.
Well we have got to have something nice haven't we!
I have described them as a magical family, who are very family orientated and vegetarian.
They are all dressed in my custom patterns I have created for Halloween.
I hope you will enjoy using them.
Happy Simmin all.x

Stories Pod
Ok, now that I've had one story accepted and another pending, I'd like to put a Stories Pod on my page. Problem is, I can't find it. I've looked under "My TSR" and "Edit Profile Page," but it's not there. For those of you who have one on your sites, how'd ya get it? Is it part of the mini-site features? Curiousity's got this cat by the whiskers...! (Ow, hurts too.)
ABOUT MYSELF AND THE SITE
I'M TRYING TO CREATE MY OWN THINGS FOR PEOPLE TO DOWNLOAD BUT I AM A COMPLETE NOVICE AT THIS!TO BE HONEST I'M NOT REALLY SURE HOW TO DO IT,I'VE READ MANY ARTICLES AND SEEN SO MANY DOWNLOADABLE PROGRAMS THAT I'M NOT SURE WHICH ONES TO USE LOL.YOU COULD SAY I'M A DULL SO IN SO!I'M 32 YEARS OLD AND NOT VERY WELL ADVANCE WITH THE COMPUTER.BUT WILL KEEP YOU ALL UPDATED ON MY PROGRESS THATS IF THIS IS ANY INTREST TO ANYONE THAT READS MY BLOG!!!!!!
Window of Opportunity Add-ons
Right now I'm working on a new add-on set for our builders. Planning to make a lot of windows, open and closed as you can see in the preview. Offcourse some doors and arches will be there too! Have fun building!

Modest Endtable
Well, I remapped the endtable and cloned another endtable and it was right this time. Here is a pic of the 3 different variations for both endtable and bed. Also a pic of the bed 'in action'.

On to the next object
CD
I worked out what I did wrong with uploading my Sims 2 CC, but...
I'm having to re-install TS3. Groan.
I downloaded Merlin the other day, installed it today and well, it screwed all my CC up. Not a very happy bunny.
My disc drive is on its last legs as it is and I'm currently having to force it to struggle and install TS3 for me again because of that silly program. I'd much rather put up with the slow installation than have to go through all of this rubbish again.
Anyway, I've uploaded my vest top and lipstick to be reviewed again-and yes, I worked out I was completely uploading the wrong files before. It's such a simple mistake to make now I realise what I did wrong.
Will be making more Sims after re-installing TS3...may take the next month or two. LOL! My disc drive is seriously broken!
Small update
As you have noticed I have made some paintings yesterday and today. More released in the next 2 days so I haven't worked on the Modest Bedroom until tonight. I've made the endtable but I'm not completely satisfied with the mapping on some parts so I'll have another look tomorrow. Here is a preview of it though.

Hopefully I'll get to finish it tomorrow so I can go on. Now it's time for bed.

New Story
Well, being kinda out of commission had its benefits. I've gotten a new story written and submitted. It's called Busted. It's a short, dark tale of crime. I confess I'm a CourtTV addict as well as an avid Simmer... Hopefully it'll be approved and up soon...
One of those days....
Well, first i ought to apologise for being a prolific blogger(even though its only my second today lol)...today has not been the best day ever..I've been busy all afternoon, and I've come back for some R&R only to find that I have broken my profile page..booo hooo...don't know what I've done but I've definately done something! Its telling me there is too many connections...Zend_Db_Adapter_Exception SQLSTATE[00000] [1040] Too many connections...so i'm flummoxed!!
Just sent 4 Sims for review...
...hopefully, they will get approved, and I'm relieved that my UpComing Items Pod on my minisite isn't going to be empty for much longer! LOL! Watch that space!
The clocks - where did they go?!

I posted up a set of tower clocks - all ready for publishing today, but at the last minute I pulled them.
Why? Well, because I'm like that. Totally mean! "Bet you want these, don't you?!" Then YOINK - gone! Chortle! In fact, I could spend DAYS doing that!
Of course, I jest! I was really pleased with the clocks: they're animated, they keep the correct game-time etc. Lovely! Oh, but one stupid problem stood in the way: they were too high up and there was nothing I could do about it (any attempt to place them lower has a disastrous effect on the clock hand positions and oribits - even when setting the joint itelf to a lower position).
So the clocks have to stay where they are. Can't be set at a lower height. But they looked stupid being hidden under a roof. The 2-tile clock could at least sit under a gable, but this wasn't much good for the 1-tile clock.
So, nice as I am, I figured I'd make a couple of decorative tower roofs instead. The large (2-tile) version (pictured here) is tall enough to sit behind and rise above the giant clock.
My apologies to those of you who were hoping for these clocks today. They'll be out later this week!
Sunday Feelings...
Well, its Sunday...doesn't the weekend seem to go quick..(even when you're doing nothing)...(except playing Sims, of course)..Its coming up to 9am..(I think)(it looks like the clocks have moved back, so there is digital clocks saying one thing and other clocks telling a different time, tooooooooo confusing at this time of the morning!!!)..anyway, I'm playing with 'Rectory' at the moment, and also fiddling with a new house I built...I'm using Ms First to decorate again, and its made me wonder if it would be possible to play all the homes in Sunset Valley with just one Sim..do you think it would confuse the game if there was, say, 30 exact copies of the same sim running around!...no other sims..or is that too weird! I'm seriously thinking about this, at least every Sim would have someone who has lots in common with them!! LOL.....Anyway...I'm feeling pretty pooh today, I've got something (!?!), probably just a cold, been a bit stretched out recently so its no surprise really...and its back to work tomorrow (so I hope I feel marginally better tomorrow, or I'm gonna be a grump!)..Yay!

Hope everyone has a great Sunday...
Dead Trees Update
Quick update on my current set, Dead Trees. I have 4 meshes done, and (for now, at least) plan on stopping the set here. I have other ideas I want to work on! Anyways, I'm not really sure how to describe the trees... they are all dead and...twig-ish? Anyways, here is the image I currently plan on using for the set preview.

Thank You

As a person that had previously never submitted anything to TSR I did not realize the importance of the 'thank artist' and 'comment' feature on the site. I have downloaded for a long long time (I remember when the entire site was FREE) I rarely if ever said thank you or commented. I always figured that the most important thing was that someone took the time to download the object (clothes, pattern, etc,) that was saying thanks enough. Now that a few people have thanked me for creating my houses I realize the error of my ways. I want to say thank you as much as possible. I love to leave comments for people because I know the joy it brings to me to have someone take the time to comment or sign my guest book. So if I have downloaded something of yours and not said Thank you, well then THANK YOU!!!!!
Happy Simming

Late responses
Unfortunately, my arthritis has set in because of the weather we've been experiencing where I live. I'm also running late on returning all your lovely comments and continuing my lively conversations. (Typing is not my friend today.) Once the meds kick in, I hope to be joyfully tapping away on the keyboard again. Please bear with me, I'll respond to all as soon as possible.
Still Working
I'm still in the process of rebuilding my town, so the story's still delayed. I'm slowly working my way back to where I was... *sigh*
About LDTWIWT...
ITS CLOSED SERIOUSLY PEOPLE DON'T COMMENT I MAY OR MAY NOT RE OPEN I! PLZ COMMENT ON THE BENCH. SRRY WONT GET ANY NEW CHPS OUT TILL MON AT THE LEAST. AT FRIENDS HOUSE, BUT SHES SADLY SIMLESS
Hello1
Hello I am new to the creating world, well at least sharing my work, so you should see some stuff from me soon.
I have been defeated
Well if you have seen any of my posts on the forums. I have recently transferred my Sims 2 stuff to my Laptop.
Unfortunately the thousands and thousands of downloads that i had wont be transferring over as it wont let me. Write Protected no matter what i try and do to remove the protection.
So i am having to start again from scratch which is going to take time and is very frustrating.
Never mind. I had some really good stuff so i am hoping i will find it all again with no trouble at all.
:(
Modest Bedroom
Yes, as beds are working I decided to start a bedroom and it's going to be a Modest bedroom, following the other modests sets. I've done the meshing and it has 4 recolorable parts. It needs some finetuning in the DDS files still, and the animation didn't work when I tried it ingame. I had to ask a question in the forum about the assignment of the joints and the animation.
Here is the preview at least.

Will make a dresser and a new endtable plus some more objects I hope before it's finished. Will also work on the bathroom at the same time if I can.

Krummy the Clown, my new Sim created for Halloween
Hi all.
I am really enjoying playing on The Sims 3 so much, that I have creations lined up, that will soon be coming through thick and furious. :)
My next upload is Krummy the clown. He does not like children, has no sense of humour and is insane! Not a clown that you would employ to entertain your children. Lol!
I have been playing around with creating patterns and some of my custom patterns are included with the download. It is pending in Submissions, so here is a sneak peak.
More to come in a day or two. Happy Simmin all!
Reason there are no Upcoming Items.
Been rather slow on the upkeep of my UpComing Items these past couple of days, I know. The reason is because the other night, my beloved hamster, Munch, who is the only hamster I have bonded with immediatley from seeing her in the shop, had a stroke. She deteriorated really quickly in the blink of an eye and yesterday, I had to take her to the vets to be put to sleep. All my energy has been spent on preparing myself for taking her to be put to sleep (I've been keeping hammies for 15 years and even after all of that time, it's still no easier to say goodbye) and afterwards, I've been really down and upset with not much enthusiasm for anything.
After a good enough sleep, I feel a little better and I'll make some Sims tonight to upload to TSR tomorrow. Maybe it'll help distracting me from what's happened these past couple of days.
TSR Workshop
Hi all, is to have a tutorial there on how to create objects with the new workshop, there? Please help!
Finally!
Finally I have something for you. A dining set for Sims 3. I hope you enjoy it. I had fun making it.
Also going to put up a new poll shortly.
Hope your weekend goes great!
The Lost City
After much sputtering and coughing, my town died. As I loaded Sims 3 to play, I was informed that the town suffered critical errors. Yep. All gone. Bye-bye. *sob* So now I'm back-tracking and trying to re-establish the community I had worked so hard to create. In doing so, I think I may have noticed a problem with two of my lots. Flaming Falls Diner and the Buccaneer Cove Education Center don't seem to want to load. I wasn't experiencing this problem while testing those lots. I was wondering if others were experiencing problems as well. Let me know, ok?
(Looks like any new downloads or stories may have to wait a little while...sorry!)
