Alice Cooper Vest Top (TS2)
I also worked out (somehow) without looking at a tutorial, but just by going on what I had read when I was making my lipstick earlier this morning, how to make my own custom t-shirts/vest tops, so I have submitted my first ever piece of CC clothing; an Alice Cooper vest top. Still not sure whether I have quite got the gist of how to submit TS2 CC, but I'll have to see whether it's approved or not first! LOL!
If it all goes well, I'll continue to make more custom tshirts and vest tops for a little while until I get really confident with that, then I may try moving onto making TS3 tshirts/vest tops. I have read that it is a lot more complicated to make CC for TS3 than TS2, which makes me a little nervous, but I've managed to get this far! LOL!
Our cats new freind
Well, our cat is full of surprises! Last week, he came home with a young kitten that has no home. The little one is about 6 to 9 weeks, and is scared of people big time. It was hungry, and wouldn't go anywhere without my cat. We have been leaving our door open and food close to the door in order to encourage the kitten to come in, eat, and get used to people, it's a darling little thing, and we have named it Shadow, because it is so black it isn't funny, when it is dark out, you can't see him, he is that black! We were really surprised to see our cat bring around a freind, especially since he is male, and doesn't get along with any other cats around here, but he looks after the little one, and they even sleep together outside! Hopefully soon, Shadow will trust us, and will stay in the house, as it's getting really chilly out at night, and I worry about him(or her?) being out there at such a young age!

Why I've Been So Quiet
(Short answer: computer issues, back in a week or so I hope!)
First and foremost I want to thank everyone who's ever downloaded anything I've made here at TSR, it's a huge boost to see my download numbers go above 1 million!
Secondly, I want to apologise for being so quiet (it's unusual, I know!) and not:
a) uploading any new parts to my story; or
b) uploading any new creations.
Unfortunately I've been having rotten computer trouble. I can launch my Sims 3 game for long enough to see if something I've made is working correctly, but not long enough to get any decent screenshots. My little laptop can't handle it and it just overheats. Obviously playing for long enough to get screenshots for my story is just out of the question, even though I've got about 3 parts ahead of where I am now actually written.
Add to this that objects in the Workshop are in beta, and my laundry room set is being held back by a little bug right now. I have, however, created the meshes and textures for several items in the set, and I'm continuing to work on them. As soon as I have a computer that will play TS3 without overheating so I can test adequately and take screenshots I hope I'll be able to release something.
And that computer is, in theory on its way. It's very theoretical right now because according to my order status it's not been built yet, and the parts haven't even been picked. But hopefully in about a week or so I will receive a new high end gaming computer. I'll keep you posted :)
Just submitted my first Sims 2 CC!
Don't know whether it'll get approved or not, but we'll see...it's a basic pink shiny lipstick for TS2 and I was actually really surprised about how easy it was to make it!
I did use a base that heleane made so I had a guideline as to where to put the lips and so I had an alpha all ready to start off with. I''m still not entirely sure about how to make an alpha yet...am more clued up than I was this time yesterday, but think I would still major fudge it up if I tried to make one at the moment. Blush.
Hopefully, my lipstick will be approved tonight - fingers crossed!!!

Going to be working with the Sims 3 AND Sims 2...
Just been installing Sims 2 back onto my computer for most of the day (my disk drive is completely wrecked and doesn't really work like it should, but making do until I get a new laptop at Christmas) and have decided that I am going to start off trying to make custom content for the Sims 2 for a little bit, just so I get used to how to do things.
I'm still going to continue making Sims for Sims 3-really love doing that-but as a little side project, I'm going to start trying to learn to mod for the Sims 2 as well!

My Sims 3 Stories Chapter 3
Hi everyone and welcome back to my blog. I am so excited that I am getting the game on November 11th. Actually, since I am buying the game online, it will take 14 days . So, I might get it on November 25th, one day before Thanksgiving. Let's begin with the story.
SORRY EVERYONE!! I DON'T FEEL LIKE WRITING CHAPTER 3 BECAUSE I KEEP ON FORGETTING TO SAVE IT. SORRY BUT IT TAKES ME A LONG TIME TO FINISH!!

The whole entire family went to the park and then Micheal fell asleep on the ground. I thought Jemer was going from interesting to boring type which got me mad.Then, everyone went home and then Jemer made dinner then finished her novel. I got impressed that it only took her 2 days to finish her novel on her free time which sometime she doesn't. Well, since Natalie is a bookworm, when she becomes a young adult, on her free time, I will make her right an amazing children's novel. I hope she does.

Fianlly uploaded a Set
Finally It worked, If you have noticed, I havent uploaded anything new recently, because the stupid thing wouldnt let me upload sets!!
And now I have gotten through the boundry after a few months of giving up I decided to give it a go... and YES Yes!! it worked... I have 4 New Eye shadows Just approved... I actually through a tantrum and deleted most of my pending work. Ooopsy!! But its ok, I'm starting a new and beginning again!
You should soon expect a Twin Set! If it works? anyway its basically everything that comes in twos, except as me and my sister went through life, pink and blue.... Yay!! hopefully everything works out well... I will also try and recolour Base game Items, to make it easier for all you who Dont have the extention packs... like I was all those years ago!!
I do hope that Sims3 hasnt completely over shadowed the sims2, yesterday I felt like installing the sims1 so its not like I wont stop downloading for them!!

Finally back to playing
After 9 weeks of Simlessness, it was such a joy to be back. I immediately created lots of new lots! :D And also started to create finally a story. The first part is almost ready... The new neighborhood is desert type, so most of the places are Middle-East etc kind of things. Like this one, the Sheherezad park.

Yo, everyone, I'm back. For those of you who didn't know I was away, yes, I was away. School started, and, well...things got a little wild. Anyways, things have sort of calmed down now, and I'm back online. Sorry about the story delay; part one should be out sometimes before Halloween. That is, if things work out. Cross your fingers that they will ;p! Anyways, still no news on my fan-fic. I'm trying to work on that (and my Sims story), but please understand that there are a lot of more important things that demand my attention as well. So things might be a little slow. But hey, whatever, it's great to be back! Little Cloud ;p

and so it begins...
Well I took some time out of Sims 3 for a few months but I once again have been bitten by the bug and started playing.
I am currently working on a new group of families that have split off of my starter.
There is the parents, then 1 young adult son and 1 young adult daughter (both of them have infant sons of thier own and are either married or engaged) and then we have a second daughter that is still in elementary school.
I am not sure how far I am going to push this family but for the time being I am having fun and I am waiting on the new expansion. I dont think the original parents will be around by the time the expansion hits so it will be left to thier children or even thier children's children to explore the new areas.
The San Fransisco Lot/House

My latest creation the San Fransisco is unfortley a subscriber lot.
In the lot there's a FA item I'm looking for this item to take it out. I'm not a SA or FA until I'm I want my creations to be free. or at least most of them will be free. I apoligize for the San Fransisco if you reconize the item please let me know so I can take it out and upload it again but then for free
I try to keep these items out put patterns are hard to reconize as FA in the game.

Have just got myself a full copy of Milkshape to try out my hair/clothing creation skills.
If anyone can point me in the direction of video tutorials on how to use it I would be very greatful!! Managed to find a few on YouTube but can't find any Sims 3 specific ones.
I'm looking forward to being able to submit creations made using Milkshape :)

Hi Everyone,
I spent some time yesterday by downloading items to my Sims3 world. Millions of thanks to Cyclonesue, DOT, Mutske, Katelys, RICCI, Simal, Shakesaft and many others!! It's so amazing to be able to get all those lovely creations to the game, it's so much more interesting to play when there's a variety of hair, furniture, décor, building itsem etc.

Roofline Windows - how to use
I incuded an extra secreenshot in the Alpine Windows set to show how they can be placed under the roofline but many of you won't have seen that if you didn't "view details" of the download. So I've added it here too. MUCH easier to place these windows in Sims 3 than it ever was in Sims 2!
