Decorating Houses

So I've noticed, I tend to use the same colors when I'm decorating the inside of houses I create. Bathrooms tend to be some form of green or blue. Bedrooms green blue or mauvey. Kitchens light tan for the most part. I tend to make dens some form of dark colors, brown or blue. Living rooms green or blue again. Then there's the outside decorating. I always want to put a pool, pond, and garden somewhere! Oh yeah, and a back deck or patio. The flowers tend to be blue or purple, I don't like alot of trees, love the small cherry and the small plum I think it is. Ugh. Gonna have to work on my diversity!

Poll Results - Downloading Sims

Hey simmers, below are my the results from my poll about downloading sims. There were two questions:

1. 'What do you look for when downloading a sims?' It seems that alot of people like to download sims with 'custom content' and why not! Your basically getting two prezzies in one! Second was 'age' and equal third was 'Gender' & 'I only play my own sims'.

2. 'What age and gender do you prefer?' Downloading 'Females' and 'Young Adults' is the most popular choice. I didn't think that there would be such a gap between the sexes. Although I pretty much thought that young adults would be way up there. Coming in second was 'Depends on what I feel like playing' and 'Adult' was third.

New Legacy Going Well!

Those are just examples! You can suggest anything ou want! :D Hi guys! just letting you all know, that the Keirye Legacy, Forbidden for short, is going well! This legacy is going to be also a story, so it's going to be very cool! :D

Lately, the Waydeis have been a bit... boring I guess... they're starting to just be too annoying! May have to move on soon...

But, you can help! If you have any ideas on how to spice up the Waydeis in any way, please tell me...

Examples:

• Random deaths...
• Enemies
• Battles
• Forbidden love
• Heir/Heiress gets kicked out.

Those are just suggestions, you can say whatever you feel would make this a more interesting legacy to both read, and play! ;D

Still here & still crashed!

I promise I haven't disappeared, just still suffering from a total catastrophic failure on my computer.  While we are furiously trying to fix the problem, I'm still not able to play and barely able to web...

(I am SO suffering from withdrawls!)

In the next few days, I will (hopefully) be able to upload a new lot to TSR. It's a tiny little cottage and I think it's absolutely ADORABLE. It will make a cosy retreat for example for an elderly couple or just sims with a nostalgic mind! I can't guarantee anything but since I'm already finished building and furnishing, all I have to do is kill off my test sim (I know, I'm horrible...) and take some good pics. That's it for now. I have never been doing challenges but now I tried the Introduction Challenge and I thought it was quite fun. It was more fun, though, to continue Sonny's life after the challenge was completed. Now he's married to a certain Penelope who is pregnant, they've got a bird and are currently redecorating! How exciting is that!

Hi All,

Finally I have an operation date (2nd Nov) and I was able to return home. It's so good to be back with my hubby and doggies :)

I have just got back on to my PC, so I will hopefully be back in the swing of uploading things again for you all again.

Object meshing?

Well, tonight I have tried the object meshing and have come a little on the way. This is a diningtable and it's just half done, or should I say I'm testing it. It's fun but right now the mesh is only done, the rest, all the dds files needed to make it perfect hasn't been done yet. But I had to have a look in game to see it first.

Not so bad I think.

So for the next few days I will concetrate on this, meaning the lot I'm doing (in the gallery) and is wating, has to wait yet another few days.

Today I have reach the 10.000 downloads.

I would thank everyone that downloaded my stuff and thanks for the nice feedback and comments. It boost me to make more and more creations. And my motivation become great.And thanks to all the one that bookmarks me. I really appreciate.

I would tell you that all my creation are made without any program. I use only the create a sim program without modification such as Slider hack,....

I  just use a replacement eye and another bodyskin because I find that the standard one are not so good. And by my celebs I search a good hairstyle on the web. I linked always the websites on my publications so you don't need to search after them.

And for the terminator fans, don't worry I don't forget to make Arnold Swarssenegger but I don't find good sunglasses. When I find them I published him directly.

Hi guys

I've an anouncment I can't submit lots for a few days or any other maybe I can put in part 3 of my story line but I can't be certain. I'm remodeling my room at the moment. There fore I had to disconnect my PC with the Sims 3 on it. So I can't play either for a few days. Please help me to get through these difficult days it already feels like rehab.LOL. I really hate this I finisht 1 lot that I wanted to upload today but I didn't had the time for it. So that lot I'll owe you.....

And my room looks like a tornado hit it.

AS soon as I can re-connect my PC I'll let you know, Thank god I still have my laptop/notebook with wireless internet YEAH So I don't have to miss out anything here on TSR.

House and Story

Hi All

Well the first thing I am going to say is about the story Curatio Secundum Incendia Part Two. I have the pictrues, just have to write the next bit. I usually post the pictures up and then write it. But when I said to update half the pictures vanished, that was yesterday, so I will be trying again later today.

Another thing is the houses I love doing. I've finished another one, and have plans for about ten more. The one I've finished, I'm just going through finaly testing to make sure it all works. I am planning to do another large mansion as well, just wondering the layout at the moment and type of rooms and whether to have a basement, lol.

Hi all! I've started to make a new house, based on the dreamhouse-poll result. The furnishing kinda causes problems if u want it fully furnished, but I'll try to clean it from recolors the best I can. ; ) It's gonna be a great house and you're gonna love it! : D (please note that I seldom play the game nowadays...)

Sims Hair

Does anyone know how to get the hair from the other websites to this trs site? because people like me cant download them from other website so kinda stuck with the ugly hair that has been made? anybody have any ideas or can help put them up? that would be awesome :) thanks

Current Situation

Well, one of the reasons I haven't been around much is that I was working on the Wiki, so I hope you are finding it enjoyable and helpful. A lot of artists put considerable time and effort into it.

So I'm back, but with limited time as I'm also back in physical therapy again. I am also learning how to make Sims 3 objects. I have made an end table, but I'm waiting to have more to go with it for you to enjoy. It is so cool to realize I don't need to make 22 colors. You can make your own colors! I really like the Sims 3 a lot. Anyway I'll have a set out for you as soon as I'm able. Depends on how steep my learning curve is.

For Sims 2, I'll try to get something out this weekend. I know you've been very patient with me. I haven't forgotten you!

60,000... and slowly creeping up

Hi my loving fans... the few out there I actually have =)

Sorry that I haven't got back to your comments and uploaded more items!! I've been haveing soooooo many problems. But I can promise you there is some eye shadows, swimwear and hair recolours already done, all I need to do it do some photos and collate them all together in groups to upload.

I'm still having horrible issues with not being able to upload sets. So please bare with it, I believe its better anyway, so people have a choice to ONLY pick one or two of there favourites in the set!

its been a whole year since I offically signed up Using THIS user name. I've been on here Longer using my sisters as a conjoining one for many years, just spending my time downloading sim1 items. I never had sims 2 for many years, we eventually got it, but our computer was sooooo slow! so, it wasnt till early this year that i finally said to myself, why dont I show off my creations.

it started with a few (Not so good uploads) that were only to bennifit me! then I moved on to things I know that I and probably many others lacked in. winter wear =]

I love creating, but I just recently got my wisdom teeth out, that knocked me out for two weeks. I have constant nausia and couldnt even get out of bed - its was horrible. so I had a lot of time off work (that i could have been doing sims2) but couldnt do that either. I missed my chance while my partner was out of town to sit on the computer all day - so yes dissappointed...

Anyway, wish me luck as I will probably go home a schedule some computer time. which is looking about two weeks away, dont ask why... lol I hope to upload more soon, Thanks for your patience

Not rained today!...

or yesterday....what is going on! It is getting cooler now though, winter is on its way..brrrr...bought my new winter coat the other day..it has a lovely furry hood, so i suspect i'm going to be seen stroking it alot...hmmm furry hood. Almost the same as having a cat but without the litter tray..

I'm on yet another gardening sim(when will i get bored of that!) probably the 11th or 12th now..but i have a game plan and i stick to it...i wait a few days and collect loads of rocks and butterflies(then sell them) then run around for a few days collecting the good seeds, they have to be better than great, but i've yet to find a better than Very Nice quality lettuce, then when i plant them i can get to perfect pretty quickly with the tom, grape, apple and lettuce seed. I'm pleased that CC objects are now out especially paintings, I think thats one of the disappointing aspects of decorating, can't change the paintings other than the frames and that when you paint a painting the frame is a crappy black shiny thing that doesn't go with anything!!

Anyway its 12:11am Wednesday morning here and I'm going to have to think about going to bed since I have to go to work tomorrow...only thinking about it though because I've just had a strong black coffee and I'm listening to Very loud dance/electronica music which certainly keeps your brain ticking(or at least the earwax jumping)(I've got headphones on to max)..I'm listening to 'Going Crazy' by 'Hard Body Babes' at the mo..

New Jersey Meshes

Hey all, just wanted to keep you informed on my new creations. I have been working with building new meshes, Jerseys for the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL. I know I have done these already, but these will be the actual jerseys, all home and in color of course. I should have the first set finished by this weekend, so look for them to come out soon!

David & Goliath Collection

Some of you may have noticed that I have started a collection of Sims 2 clothing inspired by David & Goliath Tees. (See www.davidandgoliathtees.com) One everyday outfit is published, 2 more have been approved and another 2 are pending. I hope by tommorow a few of them will be published, and that the ones pending will be approved. TS3 Upcoming Clothes - UM Vince Inspired Blazer

After a month and something I'm finally back! I had some problems with my computer and lately with my private life, too and I didn't have time to make something new. Well, things changed few days ago when I finally got promoted in my office (thank you boss), and I thought it was really the time to create something, otherwise they'll kick my ass out of TSR :) My promotion inspired me and I decided to create some classy, office friendly stuff, for the ambitious sims. The blazer comes in 5 variations: three without and two with the top - available from young adult to elder. Soon I'll create a bottom (skirt or pants) that matches the style of the blazer (promise!).

I will upload 'em as soon as the TSR submission center starts working again.  Hope you'll like 'em!

Lower download count & missing downloads?

Some of you may be wondering what happened to some of the downloads I used to have up or why my download count has decreased. Well, it is because I have asked the administration to remove some of the downloads I don't feel fit the new "Madison 2449" theme that is going on. Or items that I plan to re-release with an improved versions. :]

yeey so today for the first time i submitted couple of houses that i created. although i still cant figure out how the submitions work cuz i submited mine though the sims resourse wisard thing you get when you are doing the chalanges. so far its all good (i hope) *crossing fingers* hope all turns out well

Corners - TS3 Mesh Set - What would you like to see?

I have added a floorlamp, kassette boxes from IKEA, the result;

I am now going to make an endtable for the seat, and some clutter, what would you like to see, books, clocks, sth else?Please answer asap, I want to publish this set asap ;)

Update! Windows might be this weekend!

I have completed a full set of windows!  Therefore, my original release date of 2nd October is the usual hogwash I come out with, and I hope to release the full set this weekend.

A Workshop fault means that one of the windows is not visible when carried on the mouse-pointer; however, once this is fixed, the set is good to go!

MADISON 2449

What exactly is "Madison 2449"?

A few days ago I was rather bored waiting for a class of mine to start. To pass time I played The Sims 3 and created a new character named Madison. She turned out to be a rather quirky and ridiculously crazy character. It wasn't long that I realized that I didn't hae enough clothing options to fit her fashion sense. I began shopping around and creating new clothing pieces to fit her. And that inspired my new project "Madison 2449" which has a very specific aesthetic. Originally I was going to create my own site separate from TSR; however, I decided to just keep it here instead. I hope you guys enjoy what's all to come!!

Recommendation's request

For now I do not play sims 2. I think all actions between sims are so predictable after 4 years playing. So I am bored a little with it.

And Sims 3 is a new game with a lot of chances to fulfil myself.

Playing Sims 2 I use a lot of downloaded content ~ 12Gb. My God, It was so hard to wait while the game loading. Now I try to use the things from the Store and some patterns - that is all. But at heart I want more.  

So please could you reccomend me some artist you like.

May be I find something new or something better I have.

Have you ever had one of those...

Month's???? September has found me under the weather, in school AGAIN!, and just beat down to the bone and it's only the 13th! I guess I'm just hung over from last month...it was nonstop. I did make my goal of lots I wanted to submit...YEAAAH! ME!

This month's goal is a bit more modest. I'm going to focus on Craftsman style homes. They will be built in both base game and the whole tamale packages...thinking 3 or 4 lots total, if my homework, yes this old grandma is doing homework, allows. I have already uploaded my screenies for the TSR Birthday competition.

The nonstop rain storms of late August left me with a mess. Yes, you guessed it. The rain water, sometimes as much as 6" a day for 6 days straight, flooded my foundation and it also ripped off part of my roof. At one point I was standing calf deep in water IN MY LIVING ROOM! The exterior walls are brick so no worries there, but my all my interior rooms have to have their drywalls replaced, carpets and flooring ripped up and replaced...all of it is a royal pain. Reconstruction of the damaged rooms has me moving from room to room with my computer. Needless to say, my building and uploads are slow going as I try to stay out of the way of the builders...real ones. Chronic fatigue has set in and all I want to do is sleep  There is very little time when there is not something banging or someone walking through in my home. The contractor has promised me only two more weeks of this. I'm hoping and praying.

My husband is in Hospice while all this is going on and I miss him terribly. Meanwhile, a cold has caught me. My father always said no one in their right mind would ever want to catch a cold. :) So I'm pretty miserable at this point which drains my creativity.

If you have any requests for lots, please keep in mind...it will be sometime in late Spetember or Octoberer before I can uplaod them.

Each month i will be deleting entries from the previous month so i can keep an eye on it. Issue has still not been resolved but i think Thomas has advised it is on there list to do.
