I find this so funny.

And I do mean to offend those who this is being written about.

I used to download for Sims1 all the time, and edit colours on stuff on heads and skins.

I never shared them, simply because they were personal use.

No, just going through and seeing the heads that some people create... Ugh, I'm kinda glad I'm an addict to Sims1 anymore.

It's really sad when I see the most beautiful work, for the sims1, on the last pages.

I mean c'mon copy and pasting pictures to heads, and then editing them to fit the seams?

That's frigging lazy. And annoying.

I don't like my heads showing up with pixel faces, thank you.

And those who say the look better in game? Ugh, Lies much?

It looks worse in game.

Sadly, now-a-days anyone can call themselves an artist.

Thank heaven for people who actually put time into their work.

And kudo's to those that I've downloaded from, numerous times.

Their work is amazing, and you can tell they put the time and effort into it.

If you don't like what I've had say.

You know, I probably never downloaded from you.

Getting Ready to Upload another Pattern

I have had a bunch of stuff I've been trying to learn to do lately, and making patterns is only one small part.  (Ask me about ELFPATH)  I have finally had time to make another pattern from one of my original brushes, and I love how this one has turned out! It is called Butterfly Medallions. The motif is a sort of stylized butterfly, and I think it turned out pretty. I gave it a soft blue and grey color, but of course you can play with making it any color you want! I have to go in game and get some preview pics before I submit it, so it may be a day or 2 before I can actually have it ready for publishing. I have made another original brush I plan on a making a pattern from soon, and it is an electric guitar motif! I have made 2 versions of it, one is just the guitar outline, but on the other one you should be able to see that the guitar actually has a Union Jack flag on it! And that is the one I am going to get ready for upload first, then I'll just do a pattern with the plain outline. :D *bounces*

New hood, and buid style!

Well, after some months without clicking the Sims 2 strat icon, I'm back playing. The most intersting is the game is running much more fast then the last time I runned it! -Thats good, hum?- Now I'm building a new house, very large, with a four car garage and a lot of fireplaces (Is a winter only hood :-) ). Greek inspiration

Hi! I'm back from a holiday in Greece. We spent some time on Tilos and Rhodos, staying in small hotels (with pool and garden). Once home, I was inspired to build a Greek hotel so that my simmies could have a Greek holiday, too!

I loved the open-air restaurants with great food. We had Greek sallad every day. I made one when we were back, but it's not the same at all. Anyhow, the hotel I built has a restaurant on a open terrace so that simmies can feel the cooling breeze from the sea.

Hope I can pass on a bit of my holiday feelings! Enjoy!

I've decided to spend some of my hard earnt Kudos points and add a picture gallery to show off some of my favourite rooms that my simmes currently resided in.

It's also give you abit of an insight to my decorating style and it showcases some of the walls/floors, beddings etc. that I have made - to give you some idea of what they look like in the game.  As you will see I like to keep things simple ... so my little pixel people can roam around freely without bumping into things.

There's not much showing at the mo, but I'll add more as I visit each house that I've play with.

Bad News :(

Hey there,this is my second Blog entry.I've got bad news. My Computer is damaged,so i can't play the sims 2.And i can't make clothes and other things and i can't make screenshots.Now i am very very sad.But we've got 2 computers i can play on the other pc sims 2.On this computer i haven't got downloads i only have maxis clothes ,hair and furniture...:(sorry my english is not the best.

Guess who's SICK? I am, I am! *cough & sniff* so....anyways, I had another writer's block with chapter 11 - yeah I write my stuff in advance then take pictures when I feel like it *achoo!* however, after lying down as usual the ideas came - thing is I can't write them at that time since I didn't feel so good.

Looks like the new chapters would be late for a while, I need some rest ^^ *sniff* sayonara for now - oh and if you have any recomendations for cold, cough and fever - that would be nice.

My first lot

Ok, I'm not so creative for lots anymore... I actually have never uploaded one, but I used to make really nice homes for my sims on S2... now, on S3 it appears that I'm just not able to.. ANYWAY, i decided i wanted to make the Cullen house... the one from the movie.. aka The Hoke house... so I've been working on it... and didn't got it 100% right because of S3 and their physics disadvantage haha, but i think I have a really nice house....I'll soon upload it...

I remember when my sims died from chicken...

I had a really nice couple once ( Sims 2 )

One day..

The wife when to work and left the husbend to enjoy some "him" time...

He first watched some TV..

Took a bubble bath...

and then he decided to go and eat some chicken ( or any other food, i don't exactly know )

Then I decided to save and to take a break.

I saved and i wanted to see what will happen and then compare it to other times...

Anyway...

He chocked and died! :O

His wife exactly got back from work...

I told her to play a game for her husbend's life...

Well...

She lost.

Even though, it happend a long time ago i still remember that...

I think it's because of the extremely weird death... and well...

because i didn't know you can die from chicken...

What other strange ways can my sims die from?

So many things unknown, so many things to discover!

Computer fixed!

Wow, that took long!

But my computer is now fixed, I had to reinstall windows, and have just installed the sims2 with all the expansion packs and programs I need for creating, such as PS, Milkshape and SimPE. Right now I'm waiting for photoshop to finish installing, and when it does I have quite a few ideas for sets I plan to start making right away!

Yesterday I got my copy of the sims 3!! I was so excited, installed it and started up the game only to get an error saying my graphics card is too old... So I went online the same second and ordered a new card. The game better be worth it, I have now spent 1100kr on it instead of 400kr (what the game cost)...

You'll definitely be seing me around :)

My first story!

I just re-installed the Sims 1. It feels good relive all of the older exciting games.

TSRAA is up and running for Sims 3!!!

A big, BIG thanks, TSR (and to Per especially who has 3 million tasks on his plate, but still managed to squeeze this one in).  TSRAA (TSR Artists Alliance - a scheme where creators can allow their custom content to be uploaded in lots at TSR) is live for Sims 3.  There is a check-box for patterns, and downloads now show whether they're TSRAA. 

I've edited my patterns so you have it in screenprint - but you knew mine were going to be TSRAA anyway!

SUMMER TIME

Summer has reach also The Netherlands. The weather is good for this country maybe a bit too good (very hot)

In some country's summer arrived maybe 1 or 2 weeks ago. Today around 14:00 July 2 I'll find out if I'm graduated. Fingers crossed. And then it's Summer time. To get in the Spirit I'll upload some nice Summer lots. 

With summer comes holidays. this means a lot of artists will go on Holiday. Fredbrenny is going aswell I heard yesterday. I'm going on holiday to. I'll be going to the Canaric Islands in southern Spain for the coast of Morocco, I'm not going that long just 8 days but after 4 years not going on holidays it seems an iternaty. I'm going on saturday July 18th. 8 days later I'll be back.

I'll let you know agian before I leave. Even when I'm gone you can write in my GB or leave comments. because I always reply on the comments that you all been given to me. Will this be later then ussaly.

EVERYONE HAVE A HAPPY SUMMER. MAKE SOME NICE SUMMER MEMORIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Sims 3 website

Since so many people hadn't heard that Pinstar had posted his "legacy challenge" for Sims 3.  I decided to put it on my website, for the occasional browser.  Anyone needing to see the rules can get them at my website, http://sims3favorites.blogspot.com .

Everybody stopped downloading?

It is a glitch in my system only, but I'm looking at the lot submissions published July 1 and they all have 0 downloads. Plus my lots haven't budged off the same number in more that a day, which has NOT been the recent trend.

Is there a moderator or somebody who knows what's up? Just curious...again ;)

Are you American?

If you are, I'd like your opinion particularly, but others are free to comment. I've made a couple of flag patterns for 4th of July, but I'm not quite sure whether I'd like to submit them or not. Mainly because they can be easily changed to other colors and used in ways that are not at all patriotic. What do you think? Here are some examples. Some people think wearing the American flag is unpatriotic. Do you? Would you like me to submit these or not? What do you think? Thanks in advance for any opinions. Please remember TSR's policies when responding. Thanks!

Items Unable to be Featured.

I have a new floppy cushion set in Sims 2 and a new Sim and pattern in Sims 3. None of these show up in my Featured pod even though I have tried to feature them several times. So I guess for the time being you'll just have to go to my Sims 3 or Sims 2 downloads page to find them. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Could Be Back At Sims 2...

Its only been a month since I last played it but im already missing The Sims 2 :(. So much that i might create for it again.

Migraines slowing progress

I really enjoy making residential lots, but it's been so hot and humid here this week that my migraines have been activing up. With more days of 30 degrees weather on the forecasts I doubt this week will get any better. I am living off my migraine medication, but I can only take so many a week. I like the summer, but anything about 25 degrees in unbearable to me.

So I apologise to people who have been waiting for more new lots, I was hoping to do two-three a day, but at the moment the best I can do is one :(

Also, an oddity I noticed is that for me, when I save my houses to the bin (the newer ones) and place them back into the neighborhood, they lower the lot level and the ground lowers by one "click". I truly hope I am the only one that has this, but if you've downloaded one of my latest homes and have noticed the same thing happening please inform me, I will then look into it further. Also, if you use my homes and don't have this issue, please let me know too, so I won't need to worry that my lots look weird, thanks! :)

Okay so i havn't dont this before but I got a little time and i figures maybe now would be a good time to offer you all a little window into my mind...So proceed with caution...(Also spelling and me are NOT best friends)! Let see I love horror movies. Not in the mwahahaha destroy everything way no more in the who the heck writes this stuff way. One of my main favorites is the grudge, maybe because it was one of the first scary movies I've seen...After that it would be saw thats only because the traps facinate me...Umm lets see yesterday was my first time behind the wheel of a car...I dont like driving it terrifies me...Well i think thats about it for now. Uploading Hiatus

I've been taking a bit of time out to assure my Sims that they're truly not neglected.  But after driving past some wonderful architecture today, I've got the creation bug once again.  I'll be uploading my creations once finished, of course.

California here I come!

Well...It's been awhile...In the 80 's and 90's when I was still an airline hostess  I frequented the US on a an almost weekly basis. Back in the seventies and early eighties I even lived in California. I lived in the East bay Area, close to San Francisco and in Anaheim, next to Disneyland. End of August my husband has a big congres he is going to attend, I am coming along. The congres will be 4 days and after that we will take the car and head up north! Have friends (or maybe I should say: my former "host family sisters" who live in Sonoma and just south of SF. Have to plan the whole trip still. My husband has never been to California! Stop in Yosemite, Hearst Castle...Carmel...Highway one...Ofcourse San Francisco, Sausalito, Eureka...and any other place if you have a good tip!

Needless to say I will miss you all for those three weeks, but it's just July, so I will be here for at least 2 more months!
