Ho Hum...
Well, I did finally manage to get my game to work. Not really sure what happened, but it just up and loaded out of nowhere just about the time I lost all hope. So, shortly after the game loaded I got another Andretti Update put together and went to submit it...and lo and behold, TSR's Story Submission doo-hickey is out of service. So...that's what I'm waiting on now.
I am not ready to move the Andretti's to Sims 3 yet, so the story will remain in Sims 2 even after Sims 3 is out...unlike I previously said. I think I am going to stop opening my mouth about things, because the minute I do...they always backfire.
I can't believe it's only a little over 2 weeks before the US gets Sims 3. After the week of playing it in January at the Creator's Camp, I've been drooling for it ever since. Like Pavlov's dogs...you say Sims 3, and I drool. It's really quite worrysome, I should probably get it checked out.
Counting the Days
As the days countdown to The Sims 3 release, I am becoming more and more anxious. I want it to be out already. I have been checking multiple website for updates and screen shots. I have to give MAJOR props to SnootySims.com for providing so much info and goodies. I love that website. Also Simprograms is amazing as well. Great pics too. I have already starting planning families. Theris going to be a single male Sim. His name has yet to be determined. He is going to be a great kisser, daredevil, vegetarian, flirty, and a computer whiz. I just can't wait. More later.

I have been playing The Sims since The Sims 1 first came out. I had and played all expansion packs of The Sims 1. When I heard that The Sims 2 was coming out I went right to GameStop and put money down. I now have and play all of the EPs as well as all SPs for The Sims 2. I love building houses, creating families, and watching stories develop. I can't wait to buy The Sims 3!

The Sims 3 and a new car.
Hello fellow Simmers!
Not long to go now! I'm starting to get excited! 15 days until we get to load up version 3 of the Sims on our laptops & desktops.
I'm so curious. How will it look compared to the Sims 2? I remember when I first loaded the Sims 2 after playing the Sims 1. Wow! I thought. It was such a difference. It took me a while to get used to everything (and my computer struggled but that won't be happening this time around). It was such an improvement. From then on I would experience a love affair with the Sims that would last forever.
A major part I'm really looking forward to is your sim being able to visit the whole neighbourhood without us having to wait for the loading time. We'll be able to watch them ride their bike (this will be funny) or drive the new sports car down to the shops and get a bite to eat. Or maybe the park to play on the swings and frolick with their fellow neighbours. It's going to be awesome! And the new personalities look like they are going to be very funny and interesting to play.
It will also be fun to dabble in the creating side of things which I've always want to do. I have never recoloured or created anything in the Sims 2. Obviously my own sims and houses but that's about it. Everyone's creations on TSR look amazing. And I'm egar to get my hands dirty. (So to speak).
I'm just letting everyone in on my excitment on a few things in my life at the moment. The Sims 3 and my new car. After saying a sad (but quick) goodbye to my little Lancer and after 2 weeks of hiring a tire-some rent-a-bomb I'll finally get to drive my shiny new black car off the showroom floor! Wish me luck!

i did it!
thats right, i survived 4 years of college and am now officaially a college graduate, an alumnus, a smarty pants. i couldnt have done it without my family to support me and the best friends and teammates a girl could ask for :) the ones who make life worth living. thanks to the professors and classmates who gave me a great education, ive learned so much and not just about intellectual things. i wish the best for all the rest of my class, may we all go on to the bigger and better things that await us and i hope that some of our paths might cross again. to those whove already graduated, im so happy to join you on this side of life. to those who have yet to cross the stage and turn their tassel, enjoy the rest of the ride. to the class of 2009, heck yes, WE DID IT! :) special shout outs to katie, tahnee, dani jo, vanessa, parker, and scott. love you too erin and steph!
Currently building base game compatible homes . . .
I am currently working on a set of base game compatible luxury homes. The Carlton is the first in the set. The next one, The Templeton, will be coming out next week.
These will be the last TS2 lots I build. Only 15 days to TS3!
Finally! A decent nanny!
Today I was playing the Sims 2 (which I have devoloped an unhealthy obsession to :P) and I had to make the mom and dad both go to work. They were so close to a promotion and it was a Friday. I couldn't wait! I was a little hesitant at first because I don't trust the nannies. The nanny I got was perfect! She fed the baby, cleaned its diaper, played and snuggled with the baby and toddler, and didn't make a mess. The most amazing part, she put the baby back in the crib every time! All the others have put her on the floor! This is my favortie nanny. The toddler is already her friend because they played and snuggled half of the time. How sweet!

TS1 for TS2- Sets 2 and 3
Well, today I am going to annouce that the next two sets I will be submitting tonight will be the TS1 for TS2 Set 2- Unleashed Sofa and Recolors adn TS1 for TS2 Set 3- Unleashed Dining Table and Recolors. Originally, I was going to create one set with a variety of objects from the Sims 1, but due to time constraints, I am going to focus on one object at a time and make several recolors of each. I should have more TS1 for TS2 sets soon after these two sets!

Keeping Downloads in Place?
Hello....I am new to this whole situation. I am a Grandma who loves Sims 2. Making families and building/decorating houses are my favorite things to do. I am, however, new to downloading. I try to find solutions to problems on my own, but there are two things....well, maybe three things I can't figure out. First of all is there a book in print like "Sims A to Z for Dummies"? I sure could use it.
1. I have downloaded a couple of collections and used them once. But, when I go back another day to use them again...the folders are empty. Must be something I am missing.
2. I have some pillows and a blanket to place on the bed...but, can't get them on the bet.
3. While browsing for items to download, I have noticed some people are able to place items on an angle. Like a chair doesn't have to be square, but on an angle in a corner. How is that done?
Think I will have to do some internet browsing for that book....I feel so stupid. The fact that I live in a rural area where high-speed internet service is not available...doesn't make downloading very easy. In fact it is downright slow. I don't know if anyone reads these blogs, but, I sure could use some help.
Sims 3
I am sure people have noticed I haven't released any new items in awhile. I had decided to hold off till after Sims 3 is released. Once I figure out how to build and export stuff in Sims 3 I will be redoing my lots I did for Sims 2 and then going on from there. Some lots will likely not get ported to Sims 3 right away. So my Federal Fortress Remodels will likely not be redone as some of them can not be added, one of my remodels has a store and restaurant. I expect that stores and restaurants will not be included till an EP down the road. So those lots will likely not be redone in Sims 3.
I can't believe I have one Million downloads! Thank you everyone.
TSR News letter
Hi guys,
I've got a question do you recieve the TSR newsletter?
I had one about 2 months ago for the first time in years. I put in my profile that I want to recieve it but, I don't recieve one! I also didn't aquire the kudos for the last time I recieved the news letter. The last time I recieved kudos for it was in 2006. I know it was 3 years ago.
Am I the onley one with this problem or does more people have this problem???????????????????????

Unusual Street Names

Recently, After i have either begun or finished a property. I can never come up with a name that i am happy with.
I decided to google street names and found a list of unusual street names. Some are funny and i am going to use them for my properties.

ANTM - What a disaster!
Oh my God!
I just watched ANTM today, and I'm like totally frickin' pissed! I always hated most of the last episodes of this show 'cause they nearly always pick the wrong girl, but come on! Choosing Teyona over Allison was just plain ridiculous! Alison was so much better even on the runway which was her weakest point, and so many people rooted for her... Anyways the final two should have been Aminat and Allison, but Teyona?? Duh, silly show. Looks like I need to get a new guilty pleasure soon, 'cause I had enough of Tyra and ANTM.

New Story in the Works
I am working a new story.... I am still working on the Adventures of Bowman. I just want to start a new story. The story is going to be based on a family. I will update you on more once I write it and upload it here.

I have a question or two?
I spent some kudo's on Profile themes/colours the other day. I selected the colour 'purple' and 'saved changes' but my profile is still the usual blue. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm starting to wish I hadn't spent my kudo's. :(
Also I'd like to upload a beach lot I created but I'm not sure how to go about it. Is it like uploading screenshots but obviously with more info? And do I need to mention all the artists of the creations I used? Afterall their creations have helped to make the lot what is is today.

13th Treasure Chest Finally Found!
I finally found the last treasure chest. I'm so excited. It was getting down to the wire since the competiton ends tomorrow or today depending on when you read this. I gave it one more shot tonight before I went to bed and I'm glad I did. When I clicked on the chest, I thought it was going to tell me I had already claimed it and much to my surprise, it was the final 13th chest! I can't believe that the chest was right under my nose. I thought I had looked every where and I found the last chest in a ridiculously easy place. I must have looked there so many time or at least I thought I did.
I want to wish everyone good luck in finding all 13 chests before the completiton closes and those who are already entered. This made my day!
Gone for a bit...
I have had something come up here at home, and will have to be gone for a bit. I am hoping it won't be too long as I have big plans for Sims 3. ;) Sometimes real life gets in the way of my favorite hobby. LOL! Hope to see you all soon! (((Hugs!)))

HELP SIMS CRASHING
help my sims 2 is crashing i have updated all drivers re-installed windows got the latest verson of directx re-installed the game sevral times.
it runs it fine but then it will randomley freeze and there is a clicking noise even ctrl alt delete doesnt work.
i have looked all over the net on how to fix it and no one has seemed to have this problem!!

Hey everybody! I'm officially on vacation in the central U.S., out in the country with my family. My internet access is limited so it's been hard to get online & update. I am planning on writing a few stories while I'm here. I'll be finishing up "Of Love & Lust" and then I'll probably get to working on a new one. I hope to publish them when I get back to Texas. Anyways, I really appreciate everyone signing my gbook, I've been able to at least read them, but it's hard for me to reply with such crappy internet. Please keep leaving me messages, know that I'm reading them. Lastly, I hope everyone enjoyed Episode 4. Please refer it to people if theyre looking for a good read. More Story Progress
I have submitted the third chapter of Remember. Since the site has been having problems, it may not be published until they get things figured out. I'll continue to work on chapter four. I have most the pictures ready for it. I am trying to have it finished by the weekend. But you never know what can happen from one day to the next so we'll just have to wait and see. I will be busy next week so I may not get to work on it very much.
I want The story to be finished before sims 3 comes out. I know once I get that I will be busy playing for a while trying to figure out all the new game play. Anyway just posted this for those who are curious about the story.
AHHH... Having Trouble uploading
Can anyone help me, I am new to all this and cant work out why this is happening, the totorials dont help!!
1. I try to upload a set, it comes back saying the file name must contain the word collection... I name EVERYTHING collection!!
2. I tried to upload some eye recolours, that just gets rejected saying I need a in game image!! So where do I put Swatch.bmp image, in the zip folder... Cuz I tell you know, I cant put them in the same folder for 4 differnt images named the same...
Do I put it in preview image... I dont think sooo, Cuz that should only be a preview of the item!!
or what about the animated GIF image area?? I have given that a go! see if that works
