shamesless self promotion anyone?
Well...I've been around here for a long time, but never really done anything, usually I just download. From here at least. But I'm in the process of launching a new site, dedicated to things for our sims, of a sci-fi nature. And I figured TSR would be a great place to let people know about it.
I've also just submitted a new item, Leia's dress from a new hope, as seen in the new screen shot I uploaded, so I figured I'd post a blog to help fill out my page. My page which I just spent 6,000Kudos spiffying up. Hope its worth it ;)
So, if you're a creator looking to work with others with similar interests, or just someone who likes for their sims to have a sci-fi flair, come on by!

I am trying to create a new FUN little Britney Spears "Album Cover" called the Secret Garden. I will be adding additional screenshots until I choose the perfect images for the album art. It has taken me so long to enter my daughters TSR site that I almost gave up hope of ever speaking to all the lovely people who have left messages of condolences on her guestbook.
My family are well aware of all the sad messages you have been leaving and from the bottom of my heart thank you for being kind enough to think of her even though you havent met her, I have yet to look at her creations and see for myself the design she did of her Oman house where she was living right up to the time of the accident that took her life.
I see that she described herself as disabled and I would like to point out that her partial disabilty was due to another terrible road accident she had some eight years ago ,that she barely lived through , I never in a million years thought that she would face another one. Seeing how many people have downloaded her designs have made me very proud of my daughter..Sallys dad Mick
Real Cowboys part 2
I'd like to thank you all for your patience. I finally finished the long cowboy duster outfits. They took longer than anticipated because each was created with between 30 to 50 layers. I'm putting the final pictures together now. There are 4 dusters, a leather, suede, and two fabrics. All but one are black and have different boots and clothes. I hope you like them. I have many more in the cowboy collection coming for females and children. I'm also finishing up another lingerie set as well as working on some requested open shirts.
Oops! Unfortunately I'm unable to get a sample picture to display in this blog. I have put one in the gallery just to show what they look like. This will not be the picture used with my submission.

North Bruner Terrace
I have just completed my last house for my Sims 2 'Signature Collection'
This house has been a long time in the making and I finally have it just right. The estate includes a spacious open-concept plan, formal dining room, living room, study, large kitchen open to the great room and grand hall. There is a separate stair access from the great room to a upstairs games room & terrace. The bedrooms are extra big for your Sims to move around, reading loft, the master bedroom has a small terrace and a large luxury bathroom. There is also a staircase leading from the games room to a 3rd story loft featuring a small exercise area and sitting area. The luxury grounds has plenty of patios, great pool, cabana house, hot tub and much more...
I have included a front and back pic of the house. I hope you enjoy it. It will be available for download on Fri May 8.

The Finally my new Uploads... Eeeeeeh... (Scretch with excitment)
I have two sets of three... Unfortunately one (Ballerina Set) had to be uploaded seperatly! yes I know a Pain, but if you just either search: Ballerina Collection Item Set-1 (2,3) or come to my Page at twin2162 you should easily be able to find the downloads all together! Any help on how to upload sets would be GREATLY appreciated. I keep getting an error message saying I need to included in the name of the File "Collection" I did it with everything I could rename. After ALOT of fiddling it Work with two sets, but my Ballerina Sets! So I apologies.

I think that I am going to make a new story...I haven't submitted any stories to TSR yet soo idk..
But if I do make it, it will be about two sisters living together after they are both widowed, and left to take care of their children. Trying to make ends meet and trying to move on.
Idk what do you think?

t minus 2 weeks....
...until graduation. less than 2 weeks actually since the ceremony is on sunday. i get to move out and go back home in 2 weeks. its crazy that 4 years of college went by sooooo fast. its all down to the last week of class and then a week of finals. its crunch time, end of the semester but for once i have seemily little going on in the education department. i gave my presentation today, i turned in my 11 page paper a week early already, i have a silly little lab quiz tomorrow, but thats it. instead i get to clean our townhouse, plan/get ready for our big swim party this weekend, take in our zipups to get embroidery done, start studying for finals, and ta in the anatomy lab aka do nothing. i guess i shouldnt complain, i did bust my butt alot this semester so its well deserved and it gives me time to hangout with the friends i might never see again and the ones im going to miss like crazy after just one day apart.
ok gotta run, off to my last class of my last monday as an undergrad.
Kittens taking over!!!!
I knew that London would probably move the kittens out the box that we took time to make all comfy for her and the kittens, but I didnt know that she would pick my bed to move the kittens to. Around 2 am I got a big suprise when I watched London one by one take the kittens out the box and drop them off in my bed under the cover. I was really surprised when she jumped back into the box by herself to get some well need away time from the kittens. I moved over and made sure all the kitten were snug under the covers right next to me. I woke up this morning this find London had made her way back into the bed aswell and was sung under the covers with all 5 kittens sleeping peacefully between the two of us. I guess she feels my bed is the safest place for them. I am also surprised that she is not hissing or trying to fight me over the kittens. I feel a great bond growing between me, london and the kittens.

Caledonia Cottage
It's always good to try something new so I decided to have a go at creating a lot. I must say I was amazed how much there is to it and how much work is involved! I have gained a new found respect for lot builders. It took me days. I found cyclonesue's Prepare and submit clean lots tutorial invaluable and would heartily recommend this to anyone contemplating starting to create and submit lots.
My first lot started out as a simple traditional Scottish country cottage and got rather out of hand, metamorphosing into something of a luxury mansion - it's hard to resist installing a sauna, games room, music room, large romantic en suite bathroom, etc, etc when you find you have the space! So I now view this lot as a luxury holiday let more than an everyday residence. Wish I lived there!
The cottage costs §118,496. The garden is compact and easily maintained (the way I like them!). The ground floor comprises entrance porch, hallway, open plan kitchen/utility room/dining room, principal bathroom with sauna and separate shower room, and sitting room with adjacent games room accessible via an archway. Upstairs you will find a sizeable master bedroom with romantic en suite bathroom and balcony, a nursery/child's bedroom, a guest bedroom and a study/library/music room.
Most of the furnishings I've used are standard Maxis pieces from the base game and expansion packs. I've made heavy use of the gorgeous country furniture from Seasons. I have also used items from three stuff packs. The kitchen and bathrooms use items from the wonderful Kitchen & Bath Interior Design Stuff Pack. The nursery uses some of the fantastic pink castle items from Family Fun Stuff and there are a few candles and flowers from Celebration! Stuff included to add to the romantic ambience.
As far as custom content goes, I used Windkeeper's Coloratura wall which matches the tiling in the Maxis shower, my own Caledonia recolours of Shtinky's fabulous Arizona sofas, Spaik's grey Country Modular Stairs recolour of Chrissy6930's recolourable modular stairs and matching round corners (brilliant idea!).
N.B. The Country 2 Stairs Mesh required some editing of the script file when I installed this item, but I'm hoping the stairs may work when installed as part of a lot without any editing being required. Just in case they don't work, I have included a link to the stairs mesh to allow this to be downloaded and installed separately if required (be sure to read the installation instructions!). Your feedback regarding this issue would be very useful.
The lot has been fully tested and cleaned using Sims2Pack Clean Installer.

For the unfurnished version, I simply removed all items that would be removed in real life when moving house and left all fixtures and fittings in situ e.g. kitchen units, bathroom suites, etc.
As I said, this is my first lot, so any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Is there ever really a subject??
Wow my him & her story really crashed and burned on that one didn't it? I don't know whether this is just me, but it's just really annoying me at the moment. Like really irratatingly annoying. So to get rid of my irritatingly annoying story, I'll make up an quick ending for it, then there'll be no more!! Hazaah!!
My other story's on the other hand, I haven't seemed to get bored of them yet which is quite lol good. So hopefully I can get them, and by them I just mean Escape from Paradise and Theft and Prosperity. Yes so hopefully I can get the next parts of them out. I'm halfway through another Theft and Prosperity part, but since I lost some of my custom content......well that's not true I deleted it to fix my computer, that'd be technically speaking but either way I have some missing content, that I thought I downloaded all again. But every now and then I'll be looking for an item, and I'll look for it everywhere. And it's like no, you deleted that, so I have to search all over the internet to find it!
I have had 2!! new ideas for sims 2 stories, okay well it's actually just one idea, the other idea i'm actually going to turn into a novel, and I haven't thought of whether I want to make it into a sims story as well. I'll give you the first couple of lines of it later to see what you think. But anyway my real idea for the sims 2 story, I'm going to call it Kendra's Blog, and have it about her life and everything. You know just a nice bit of fluff, not have some major drama happen, which I find happens in most of my stories. I'd just like a change you know? But I don't know when I'll start writing that Kendra's Blog story, because I think I want to finish the two I have going on at the moment.
Anyway the 'novel' it's so weird to say that, but I'm writing one, and I'm hoping to maybe get it published into a real book. Now you're probably thinking I'm not that good of a writer to write a whole novel, but my real writing is totally different from my sims writing. I don't know what it is, but it's like writing a story in the game you have all these limits. Like you're limited to thinking inside the box, and you just can't seem to get your head out of it....it's stuck in there. Inside the sims 2 box. I've only just started peeling back the lid of that box to see the full picture of the sims 2. But I still find that I'm limited by the box, I don't know whether that's just me and my crazy brain. Stupid brain getting stuck in imaginary boxes. Anyway so I'll post a small paragraph from my novel story into my blog soon. I can't do it now because I'm not on the right computer, I never am it seems. I shall do it soon, but for now I have to go because my cat is causing the cutlery on the counter to commit suicide. There it goes *bang* *clutter* *clash* and now my cat's running out of the kitchen with his tail in between his legs. He acts like such a dog sometimes, you'll never beleive that I caught him drinking out of the toilet the other day. Some weird cat.
I have to be going now because Jason Bourne is calling......gotta love the sim world. Poor Jason Bourne, he's old now....with grandkids. Wait I don't think he has any yet but his kids are old enough to have them. Oh if I'm confusing you, Jason Bourne is my sim! Not the real Jason Bourne, because Matt Damon isn't old and doesn't have grandkids. I watched that movie last night! what a weird co-ink-ee-dink!! Ahh that Jason Bourne, he's so good looking. The real one this time, not my sim. But there isn't really a 'real' one but the character. But the actual character isn't good looking because, he is just a character until Matt Damon comes along and plays the character. Now I could keep going with that ALL night. Firstly because I'm in a crazy wacked out mood, and secondly because I think I'm tired. So not only am I crazy but I'm also delirious, great combination!! I can hear the loony bin ambulance coming now......

I joined this site years ago, and it's changed a lot, I don't think there were blogs and full pages then, if there were I might have been a bit blinded by all the lovely creations to download to notice them lol
Recently I've got back into downloading CC after a long break (my laptop thanked me for it :P)
I don't really create anything other than stories, which are being uploaded as I type, now I'm positive that wasn't one of the features when I first joined.
So that's mainly what I've been doing for the many years since I joined as far as the sims is concerned, I've been working on my legacy.
Well I'm a student at University, I was at High School when I first joined here I believe - how long ago is 1223 days? Hold on some quick maths - over 3 years ago, well I was at sixth form then, not high school. Anyways I study Business Management - sounds so exciting doesn't it, joking lol - but it is quite fun. Who knows what I'll do after Uni though, and I'm nearing the end of my second year now - arrgh!
I'm loving this upload thing, wow its quick, the in game story uploaded - is soooo slow, but the TSR Wizard Manager is ploughing through the twelve chapters of my legacy.
One thing my legacy is not scored, it's just for fun, in fact I love playing my legacy - apart from the Uni chapters, those drag sooo much lol.
I do have challenges on my page, and I only ever tried the one - embarassing I know, but in fairness now the lot refuses to load - the Sonny Day one, well it did last time I tried it, I'll have to load it up and check it.
Well that's all I can think to say, I'll remember to come here more often now I know how community focused it has become :D

Not much of a Writer
I don't write much but I thought I'd write something just to let you know I'm alive :P I'm watching my Corn Snale get ready to shed. It would be cool if sims could have pet snakes too.
Oh! something that crossed my mind today...it would be cool if we could buy like 5..10...15 downloads with kudos what do you think?
Puppies and Kittens
Today our cat London had 5 kittens, on April 20th our lovely dog Princess had 4 puppies but unfortunately one of them passed away the day after. Its been a pretty crazy day in our house, we now have a total of 2 cats and 5 kittens, 2 dogs and 3 puppies, talk about having our hands full. The puppies are getting so big and they are starting to wonder away from their little safe haven we have set aside for them in my sisters room. We found one of the puppies well on his way down the hallway earlier tonight. I believe Princess is confused and belives the kittens are hers, she refuses to let anyone come close to the box the kittens are in and dont even think about getting close to the box the puppies (won't) stay in. Kisses is our anti-social cat she lives in my nephews room and only makes appearences when she's coming downstairs to eat and make use of the litter boxes. Diego our male dog is my baby I think he is more excited about the kittens and the puppies then anyone else in the house.

*PHEW* Man, I have been so busy with finals, I'm nearly ripping my hair out! But, fortunately, it's all coming to an end & Summer is almost here! aren't yall excited?
Okay so for an update, I have submitted Episode 4 (FINALLY!) & I am so excited for everyone to read it. Please, leave comments on it when it's released;)
Funny story, during the making of episode 4, I was trying to get Emmett to give a hug to a friend of Brittany's & I accidentally clicked "leap into arms" and Brittany was standing right there. Hence, Emmett got slapped around (stars flying in circles above his head) by Brittany after the little incident. oops:)
Alright, alright. So I am unable to get in touch with Dragon Slave in order to ask her permission to post my basic horse recolours so I'm not sure what I'm going to do. They look awesome in my game! I'd love to share them with the community.
So I'm leaving for the summer & I have to end my prescription to TSR for the next few months, does anyone know if this will effect my minisite? Will I lose everything if I stop paying? I really truly hope not.
Okay well, hopefully I'll get some more paintings out there soon. I've made several to upload, but I hear they've had a bit of a hold up in the uploading section of the submissions page:( so we'll see what happens.
I hope episode 4 is approved soon. I'll be in touch with everybody shortly.

PC rip off
OMG I am so fuming mad!!! I got a really nice desktop computer for Christmas of 2005, since I am not always able to stay sitting up for hours on end I used the laptop I had as it was way more convenient & I could set it up on a TV try & lay down & Sim. When my laptop died I had to take back my desktop or have nothing. While my Mom had it (no I am NOT mad at my Mother) she had a guy put some things on it so she could use it (my mother is almost blind & uses a guide dog), she has some programs & such & laptop that is specifically for blind people......doesn't even have a screen, that she needed to be able to link so she could e-mail her reports in to her boss. Well this desktop originally had 2Gigs of RAM, & it was a fairly fast computer in 2005. Now this guy "worked" on my/Mom's computer & he "had to take it to his house" to work on it. OK mind you Mike & I have not really done anything with that PC after telling Mom she could use it as she liked. So the computer goes with this guy & then he brings it back. It did what Mom needed it to do......which as far as computers are concerened was beyong easy.......sending word documents is nothing for computers. So my Mom didn't actually need gobs of memory or a nice video-card........but this guy charged $ & what really happened; he took this nice pC to his house took out our nice parts put crummy parts back in it + charged for doing the work + he also bought/billed for UPGRADING it! BS! (sorry sensors) But major BULL _____! I am including some pix of what my Sims look like when in shower & that will give you a clue. I don't get to see fish in the tanks or ponds! AND I CAN'T HAVE ANY CUSTOM CONTENT! We have to go out & buy decent parts for the computer that was built with decent parts just because some guy thought it would "be OK to rip off the blind lady". He did not know it was MY computer but that it was my Mother's. But this guy is long gone & Mom does not even know his info anymore cuz it was like 2yrs ago he did the work. And of course Mom never noticed anything because the only graphics she ever "uses" is pogo to play "Pop-It". So of course my Mom never noticed anything. No wonder the guy asked her "does anyone else use this computer?", we thought it was just so he would know wheather to make it usable for a sighted person as well or just her who hardly usess icons & graphics. But NOW we know the REAL reason why he asked. Had she said "Oh my daughter uses it to Sim" he probably would not have thought he could get away with it. But what's done is done.
OK now I can't remember how to upload an image so I'll just try putting screenshots up of my messed up Sims.
I'm back
Well I'm back I had family visiting for a couple of weeks, so I couldn't upload anything, but to my surprise I guess TSR is still having problems with their site. I've been trying now for 3 days to upload more walls and floors but I just can't do it. I keep getting errors when I try to upload anything so I'll just have to wait till all of these problems are solved so I can share more of my creations with all of you. Happy Simming. mskitty.

Taking it easy for a couple of days.
Just wanted to let you all know that I'm taking a small brake. My husband just lost his uncle who was more off a big brother to him. He was only 52 years old. So see you back in a couple of day's.
Sometimes reality has a way of sneaking up and biting us in the ass.
The title said it all. Unfortunetly, I realized that my grades in the end of the year won't turn out to be as good as I wanted them to be. It's not the end of the world, at least not for me, but I've expected more from myself. However there's still 5 weeks (I guess) 'till the end, so I have a chance to raise some grades.
I had a prettly little idea that I could create some objects, clothes or hairs for The Sims 2, but when I realized that it's not gonna be that easy as I expected it to, I postoponed it. I'll start when school finishes. For now I'll just stick to photo editing and blog designing. Which reminds me, I have few promised layouts pending.
Did I say few? Sorry, four designs, some new avatars (that means at least 20) and I have to make a avatar-signature set for my sister for an forum. Not much. Except I have NO idea what avatars I could make, and not to mention my deviantART account. I haven't updated my Journal since before Christmas AND haven't submitteed of thanked for faving in a while. I guess I always let things to pile up and then I realize that I got lotta things to do. But when that happens, it's too late. So. Reality bit me. Great.
Seeing your Sims in my houses
Maybe it sounds strange, but I would just love seeing your sims in a house of mine. I'd love to see what you have done to the place, how you redecorated it and furnished it. Build some additions to it etc. You may call me curious...wonder if anyone would do a screenshot for me... That would be so cool!
I just checked my poll. It seems I have to really see how my College grads are doing and do an update on them! I'll be busy with both the 5 of them and the Coopers! But, HEY...I love doing this stuff!
Starting Fresh
My pc was recently infected by a virus. Although Norton quarantined it, my task manager was corrupted and I had errors during Windows startup. In the end, I reformatted my hard drive and reinstalled XP. With The Sims 3 right around the corner, I may not reinstall all the TS2 EPs. At least now I have a super clean computer all ready for TS3. :-)

I just need to say this. If you something mean to say or need to put down others people work and you have nonthing to offer then please do not post cooments. Most people do this fun. I do it to help with stress. Most simmers are so nice and have alot of good things to say. Then you get the few that think they can say what ever they want. To all the great artist out there keep up the good work. I think everyone has somthing to give that makes things for the sims. So to all the means jerks out there get bent.
New Projects
Hi everyone!
I know it has been awhile since I have last submitted anything, however, I have begun work on a new project. I plan on finishing my last project, but I have also began a new project, which I think you will all like it! :-) I won't tell at this moment what it is, but I am working on something, and I hope to have it done soon. I will not be a very big set though.

weird colours
i keep getting weird colours on the walls of houses (red) and grass on the nabourhoods (purple) ever since i added 2 more sim games!!!
It caught a cold....
Though it is a diary so unrelated to the game.
It has caught a cold yesterday.
Neither the cough nor a runny nose stop though heat is a slight fever.
New influenza becomes popular in the world.
