Didja miss me? lol...

Oh, wow. What a nightmare, lol. Moved from California, to Arizona, left most of my sims and design stuff in storage...just now got settled, and found my stuff again. So, after about 6 months, I finally am able to start submitting again. I just now waiting on two uploads to be approved, a cautious attempt to undo the rust on my graphics chops, lol, called "Spring Leather Living", and a Texture Challenge nursery based on some nice textures by mightyfaithgirl. Both are waiting for Girl-from-Mars to get back from her vacation for uploading. 

Now that I've gotten some kinks out, I'm working on a more elaborate bedroom in black and white, that I'll probably be able to upload in a day or two. And a few other ideas are mulling around. Sigh. Feels great to be back in the saddle again, hehe.

I have a problem, When i started downloading cc i didnt no about other sites. So i went to exchange. Some of the stuff i downloaded works, Some dont work in game, And some i really like!!! But everythings like 56468419719a7198d78917_781979fsdg7897289?!!?! And i wanna deleate the stuff i dont want!!! But not through the game. So i removed all the things with alot of numbers, and im missing stuff, and some stuff i made dont work. Is there anyway to preview this stuff before deleating?? Please help. Im deperate!

Frustrated

I can't figure out why I'm being called oldmember_MizLuv, I signed up as MizLuv, I was away for a while and just started coming here again, TSR added oldmember to my name, I hate it! I have wrote to some of the people that run this website, Only to be ignored so far, I don't know what else I can do, I don't want to stop coming here, I love TSR :(  Any suggestions?

Results & Update.

So..according to my poll..out of 32 people 45% of you like the fantasy book genre..nobody liked western haha..Well my favorite is romance. I'm a huge fan of Nicholas Sparks..and perhaps I love them because they are tragic in the end (most of the time)...

On another note, I am uploading something tonight that I have yet to see on TSR..I can't say it has not been done before..just that I haven't seen it..I'll explain what it is and why I'm making it later! :) Well, everyone have a nice day!!!!!!!!

Upcoming cosmetics - UM Hypnose Eyeshadow

And I'm back in the game with a brand new eye shadow ... ;) My life is getting very busy so I won't be able to create much stuff... but sure I'll try to find the time and create some ...

I made this about two days ago and finally here it is: UM Hypnose Eye shadow. (7 shades)

Hope you'll like it! I tried it with different mascaras and i found out that it matches perfectly with the UM SkyHigh mascara... it gives the eye shadow a deeper look. Try it and let me know what do you think about it.

Spring Break was great and I'm all rested and ready for the real world again. I've some great plans and ideas for things to make.

Waiting for acceptance

In my last post I told you that I submitted two more houses and taht they would be downloadable soon. Well they are still pending, so they will not be available in the next days. I do hope they get accepted because one of the houses cost me 3 hours. Last saturday I submitted two more houses. One large itallian styled villa and a small modern house.

The villa has a nice coverd pation, a pool and a balkony that goes all around the second floor.

My inspiration is kind of gone so I most likely I will not be submitting anything the next days. But you never know, so look out for my new creations.

Creating Sims

I've been trying to create Sam Winchester from Supernatural. This is what I've come up with. What do you think?

I couldn't find hair that really matched. This was the best I could do. Looking forward to any comments. Not sure if I could upload or not as I'm not sure whether all the custom content is allowed or how that works. Maybe one of you could let me know?

Tops

Working on some clothing.  To be more specify I am working on NFL Tops for Males at the moment. I submitted on Top and waiting for it to be approved but in the meantime I am working the others... One they are all done I will make a set of them togerher. They are for Adults and Young Adult. I will be working the rest later after a while. But I was wondering, Doe anyone now how long it takes for  the submitting is approved? This would be every helpful for me since it my first time submitting something.

since I last posted here. I've just been busy this last year with some nice and some not so nice things, but that's life!

IR Office Table Lamp Recolors

I'm very sorry that the IR Office Table Lamp wasn't recolorable until today. Fortunately there is DOT! Yay! She helped me to make the lamp recolorable. Thank you DOT. :) I've made a couple of recolors to be published today. Important:

You need to reload the IR Office Table Lamp mesh in order to use the recolors.

Beach 09 coming up!

Who created the yearly beach hysteria?! Women around the globe start hyperventilating several months before the season. Well, your simmies don't have to worry. I made some new bikinis for the summer season. Wish I could fit into those myself, but alas...

I like creating clothes that Maxis didn't supply that much of, such as undies, pj's, sportswear and swimwear. However, I made some sporty everyday outfits for females. a sports jacket, jeans and trainers - that's a style I like myself on my freetime.

Cherry Hetfield Properties and Bateman Projects Update

Hi Everyone

I haven't posted for a while so here goes.... I now have a week off work (hurray) and i hope to complete and show you my creations. I am still working on my 2 Developments mentioned above. They are taking such a long time as i keep undoing and redoing certain areas of my properties which can sometimes have knock on effect of other areas of the property and so they are then changed !! I am so fussy though. I hope to show you more creations within the next few days.

New Living Room Recolor Set To be Published Soon

Just as soon as I can finish all the preview pictures, I will upload my newest recolor, a set of dark neutral living room furniture. The mesh is Shakeshaft's "Isabel" set, which was hand-picked as my next project by my good friend, tdyannd. She hasn't seen the final result at this writing, but when I show it to her, I hope it will meet her approval! I probably won't have everything ready to upload till tomorrow (Sunday the 22nd) and of course it will probably not be published before Wednesday or Thursday of next week. There is a small screenshot down in the left hand corner of my page if you would like a sneak preview!

I spoke too soon...

I spent Friday in the Emergency Room. Two ultrasounds, pain killers, and lots of unanswered questions. I am told I have another cyst; it's not the same one as last month. This new one is 'complex' apparently; that means it has one central cyst and many little cyst nodules off to the sides. They found some fluid in my abdomen which means they are rupturing. I'm headed back to the specialist tomorrow. I wanted to keep you all updated, as I most likely won't be around as much for a few days...

Chapter 2 complete!

New Lot

I am working on a new lot. It is a three bedroom 1930 Montgomery Ward Amerian Four Square Design that is slightly modified with a back porch area . It is based off of the house that I live in and will be on the largest medium lot. It will be slightly Art Deco in feel as it was built in 1930 at the end of the Art Deco era.

Naughty or Nice Simming

I have a confession to make: I love killing off my Sims in horrible ways. I like making them lose their tiny minds. Oh, sure, there are Sim families that I treat well and nurture, but I have a habit of taking out my aggressions and frustrations with the world on my innocent Sims.

So I'm curious: do you play naughty or nice with your Simmies? Do you raise happy families or torture them with degradation and despair? Do you do a bit of each? I just wonder.

Sooo sorryy!!! Stories Hiccup!!

My stupid retarded computer was having issues!! It kept crashing, I know why it was crashing but I kept ignoring it. But then the other day, I thought 'I should fix my stupid computer now' and so I did and I fixed my crashing problem. But I also lost some of my custom content in the process so I'm like fine that's alright I'll just download the content again. But then my game was all blurry!!! I know how to fix it, but when I tried the program, it wouldn't work!!! So now I have to fix my program, so I can fix the blurriness, so I can fix my game, so I can download the content again, and then continue my stories. But if I can't fix the program, I'll have to un-install and re-install all my expansion packs.

So I don't know how long that will take, so the main point is that my stories will be delayed for however long it takes me to fix them. Which could be up to a week or two, because I'm swamped with homework.

So i'm sorry, if there's anyone who's waiting for the next parts. But I'm doing everything I can.

Adventures of Bowman Series

The time has come to read Chapter 1.3 and then vote of  your favorite one to be heir/ness?  I will count each vote and once  I close the voting you I will announce it in Chapter 2.0. Please take CAREFUL note!

Hi all

I have noticed something straaaange. 

With my first recolour upload more people have downloaded the curtain rail rather than the curtain itself!  Now maybe people just like the pink rail more ..... I don't know but I did ensure that the preview pic had an outline around the rail.  So if your wondering why you have a lovely pink rail (If I do say so myself) and no stunning curtain to match well now you know!  So please take care to note the preview pic.  Also by hovering your cursor over the name read the WHOLE description so you know exactly what you are getting.   No one has complained to me about this, it is just something I have noticed, and as stated previously maybe the rail WAS the intended download! Im sure pink rails are very popular.  I have nothing against rails.

If a mesh I decide to recolour has 2 subsets (eg cushions and couch that you can mix and match) I will create a seperate package for each so please please please be aware of what you are downloading, ensure you have the meshes and most of all ENJOY!

Thanks for taking the time to read this.  I will try and make sure the names of my recolours are clearer in the future also (I like to give credit to the mesh creators but I think the naming process may have to be re-thought out)

Adventures of Bowman Series

Today Adventures of Bowman series have been added so far. The Introduction though Chapter 1.2 of Adventures of Bowman has been approved and published. Today I have submitted Chapter 1.3 of Adventures of Bowman. I so hope to be able to get a poll up for this Generation Heir/ness poll. Working on something new....

Well I am sorry for my less updates but school needs really much time now...but not much time anymore and i can restart meshing with a lot of ideas...

Story Release!

Back up and running

My computer is back thank goodnesss. I have just finished re-installing everything and have begun an apartment lot. I just finished decorating it and tomorrow I will be packaging and lot testing it. Then after a clean install I will be submitting it here. I may do a beta run with it on Wella Creations first just to see how it goes. I am so glad my computer is up and running again. i missed my game so much.

Kitchen and Bath Recolors

The first in a set of recolors of the Kitchen and Bath appliances will be out tomorrow. I hope you enjoy them. I've added Pink to the usual set of 21 colors so I wouldn't end up making a separate Pink set afterwards.

The Floppy Cushion Living Rooms will still continue and I've started work on another bedroom recolor that you might find interesting.

I have some other ideas that I'm wanting to try, but it'll depend on the time available. As usual if you have an idea, let me know. Can't guarantee I'll do it (or be able to), but I'll at least consider it.

Thinking about trying some more clothing and other things too.

Creating a story

I started to create a story. This will be my first. This will be connected to one of the TSR challenges I am currently playing. I introduced a character - a young man - whose looks and partial behaviour was inspired by my ex-boyfriends (well, from long ago in my teenagehood), so it's personally funny. I still have a problem finding good male hairs for my sim boys, though.

Work that body!

Recently, I was asked to make some eighties-style aerobics outfits. I've come up with four variations with a definite eighties vibe.



All the oufits comprise a leotard worn over leggings. Three outfits have an additional top worn over the leotard and two outfits have the classic eighties legwarmers.

All outfits are available for adults and young adults, use a standard Maxis mesh and are base game compatible.

Breezeway Curtains

Once I decided on a pattern for the fabric, these have come along quite quickly. The set includes single, full width, open, corner and diagonal pieces that hang from a track in the ceiling.

I also have the captures done for the Middle/Bottom Rows set of Panorama windows. So I just have to make them into previews and those will be ready to upload.

NOTE: The rug, easy chair and clutter objects in this preview are all from Lirunchik's Invitation set, which I am totally loving right now!

New lots

Heey, In my lost post I told you about my limitless inspiration. Well it resulted in two houses. I submitted them the 18th, but they are still pending. My first lot will be published march 20th so check it out. My inspiration has not dried up jet so you can expect those this month. I also have some nice ideas about some wallpaper, but first I need to find out how to make those. I'll let you know when I submitted them. The rest of my day I will be studying, working in the hospital and relaxing. I hope I have some spare time left his evening so I can play for master architect(lol). Renske

All over the place!

Yes, literally!

Hello everyone! It`s been a while since I`ve uploaded some new stuff, and that`s for 2 reasons -

1. My Milkshape decided to refuse any further cooperation with me - when ever I try to make a hair/body mesh, it crashes! I`ve done everything I could (the problem is with Unimesh plugin and the "bone weight" tool), and for the time being I`m stuck with making textures. NOT that I`m regreting it ;)

2. As of last week, I too am a proud Deviant! I decided to publish my sketches to get some feedback from the people who know a bit more about the whole CG and Photoshop world, and I`ve been keeping myself busy with reading tutorials, books and such...I still have a long way to go, but if you got some free time, check out http://markothesketchguy.deviantart.com/ and comment either here or there...as you like ;)

New formals set on the way. I promise! As for new hair meshes...not so soon, I`m afraid. Win some, loose some, I guess.
