Twilight faces and Gossip Girl requests
This week I am working on a couple of things...1) finishing up some requested faces for Leighton Meester, Taylor Momsen, and Chace Crawford of Gossip Girl and 2) faces for the cast of the movie Twilight. I am currently planning on Edward and Bella(of course), the rest of the Cullen family (Alice, Jasper, Rosalie, Emmett, Carlisle, and Esme) and Jacob Black. Since the Cullens are vampires, their faces will be in the pale skin tone. This is the first time I've tried making pale faces, so this should be interesting.
My funny little secret revealed
Just for the heck of it i have decided to divulge a little secret i have to all of you. I do not own any photo editing programs ( though i am going to go purchase a better one) and so up until today I have been using MS Paint. LMAO- yes you read it right, the basic paint program that comes with the computer. A lady in the forums told me 2 years ago when i was looking into recoloring that i would never be able to recolor ANYTHING using MS Paint. LOL- hmmm.. I have created over 1250 items using it so far! I do have the GIMP on my pc but i dont use it becaus ei dont really know how- i suppose i could read some tutorials they offer on their website.. but i thought i would share this cuz i think its a little comical. I do plan on investing in a better photo editing program shortly as now i have graduated to recoloring Custom meshes and well i want my creatiosn to look clearer and sharper!

Building
People have asked where I get my inspiration for my homes...everywhere. I was playing a card game with my family, the deck of cards series of homes. My youngest is a pastry chef so Sweetheart Chocolates was a must do. The once upon a time series of homes came from a children's magazine I was looking at in the doctor's office and all the cool stuff in AL. The alphabet houses...well that's just my quirky nature. Most of all it's imagination and creativity in overdrive. :)
Keep watching for more specialty homes by Grandmajam. My current project is a Camelot series. As always enjoy.

About time I update here. ^_^ I've been preoccupied with work too much. I said to myself its the end of the Sims 2 but am happy to see that the release of Sims 3 is moved to June this year. I hardly have time to play now really and I missed the old days. What else is new? I was interviewed by Pier in Koinup and an article about how I do my Sims 2 screenshots can be read from this link.
Since there is still 4 months to enoy this game, yes, I am going to finish another music video. The concept and storyline is actually by my husband. I just am gonna translate it to Sims 2. XD Hope to finish it before Sims 3 is released. I'm so happy to find more stuff that is helpful on making realistic animations for the game and since my game suffered a meltdown last month from a corrupted NPC memory file, I'm glad to say I have tweaked my game back to that old cinematic settings I have before the meltdown.
I also found a very cool, talented, webdesigner who can finally fix/help me manage my Sims 2 story/movie site. I payed a hefty 200USdollars for it but I can't for the life of me tweak it. I'm so happy this webdesigner, and a special friend joined my team! It will be a surprise! She's well known Sims 2 figure on storytelling, photoediting ~ frankensteining, webdesign and make the awesomest CC's and hair recolors! (She did one for my simmie Kyle. ^_^) I'm really excited to work with her.
Okay, I won't bore you much! Just keeping everyone updated! Thanks always for adding me to your bookmarks, the screenshot comments and the visit! I always appreciate them. Belated Happy V-day.
Getting my legs back under me...
I've been trying to focus on enjoying life as much as possible, and as chance would have it I have started making a few things for the game as I play. I will post some of these here at TSR, I'm sort of retired, so I will post things from time to time with no schedule and no promises. Some of the things I am making simply aren't suitable for the general audiances of TSR, but what is suitable, I will post here.
While I'm here, a happy belated Valentine's day wish to all of you at TSR.

For some reason this new version made the whole community look mute and deserted to me. I used to read other members' blogs, visit their sites, leave them comments. Now it feels like everyone has disappeared.
Well, maybe I should spend more time here?!
Actually I have played and built a lot recently but just for myself. I have builf apartments, dorms, hotels... I am trying to build them so good I could eventyally submmit something again after a long pause.

Just that. I've decided to upload an unfurnished version. If someone really wants to play a story something like the Twilight, it really doesn't matter what kind of furniture Jake has, isn't it? I would try to pay more attention to the Cullen's house' furbishing anyway! (Or else, Esme would be upset, wouldn't she?)
Goth Family Damage
Bella and Cass are mad at Don- Cass nearly broke it off with him before I stopped her- Alex apparently cheated with Dina as did Mortimer-- (Bella doesn't know) I have not been in the Terrano household to see if Stella knows her man cheated. I really should resurrect Bella's Brother and see if I can engineer an unfortunate death by sattelite or fire for the Caliente sisters. Maybe I will marry Dina off to Malcolm Landgraab. Mortimer and Bella became elders- Cherie grew up as did all the other kids in the central family and now I have 8 controllable sims on vacation. Fun.

Hello, everyone!
I hope I haven't left too many of you hanging, since I was uploading lots nonstop for a while then suddenly seemed to disappear. Nope, no disappearing here - I really did have to take my time with the lots I've just submitted to TSR, considering two of them are academic buildings completely stocked up with much of what your students are probably looking for, including use of several career objects. Here's the skinny:
1) School of Creativity: This lot has three very different performance halls, one for actors/comedians/poets, one for jazz/country/rock music, and one for classical music, each with its own dressing room/green room backstage. In addition to that, there is a writing lab with a corner for a poetry jam, as well as a music technology lab, costume shop, dance studio, art studio, and art gallery. This lot, by far, took the most time, since I was being picky about the layout for the performance halls. I'm happy with it, though, and hope you will be, too!
2) School of Knowledge: This lot's focus is for more right-brained Sims and has a heavy focus on the logic skill, although there are some things that improve other skills as well. Since the logic-based items in the game seem to take less space than creativity-based ones, and since both schools have the same floor plan, I used the extra space to house the campus store, computer lab, and library. In addition to these rooms, there is a medical lab, science lab, astronomy lab, lecture hall, and drafting room.
3) Arboretum: Whenever I do landscaping, I try to use very few plants that actually die or cause weeds, hence my focus on trees in this park. However, I have also included the fruit trees and garden plots from Seasons, not only for color, but also so your Sims can improve their gardening skill. I took the time to actually play through the lot so I could save it with all of the plants being in bloom at the same time at a "thriving" level - hopefully, they will indeed appear this way when other people download it (more on how I did this later). Also, the juicing stations I built into the park should also appear pre-stocked and ready to make about eight different juices, since I doubt many of you will keep your Sims around long enough to witness the entire lifecycle of a garden in order to get produce. HOPEFULLY, my plan worked. Hopefully. Also in the arboretum are grills, a few tents, campfires, a huge lake for fishing, an overlook with a telescope and easels, hammocks, etc. Plenty to do!

Expect only two more lots after these three to go with Linden College. I've got the gym and the technical school underway (the technical school having a focus on mechanical/cooking/cleaning/other remaining skill points and badges), and after that, Linden College is SO done!

Building a curch
I just started to build at Curch for my sims with a BIG graveyard. All my sim who die will come there eventuelly. Maybe I will share it when I´m ready with it.
But right now I just need things for the curch. And I am looking at some places to find it=)

Story Updates and Such
Okay, a few things to go over with for stories. Nothing major I guess but a few things everyone should know.
1. I need to know if there is anyone who wants to be alerted when there is an update on any of my stories. In this case we're talking about 'Forgotten Redemption'. So for anyone who wants an update on a new chapter or part of the story please comment in this blog saying you want to have updates.
2. I might not be able to update as much as I usually do. See, school has started and I'm in year 9 (Translation: I'm in year 9 and the work is so much harder then it use to be!) Lots of asignments I need to do, they're all due in at different times. Some early others late. Either way, I really need to start on them and focus on them. This also means I may not be on TSR all the time :(
Sorry if there is any inconveniance (spelling?) with the following problems. I just thought I'd let you guys know about that stuff. So thanks everyone, you're all fantastic and you all ROCK!

WOOO HOOO! Finally I can recolor custom meshes!

Finally i figured out how to recolor Custom content meshes on SimPE. I had been missing a tiny little step.. i was renaming a file when i shouldnt of. How stupid!!All this time and it was one stupid little thing i was missing! ( or rather I was screwing up!) So i have recolored and uploaded my first one tonight .. Holy Simoly's Arizona sofa set. It should be out in a few days. I cannot tell you all how absolutely thrilled and relieved I am that i have conquered that danged mountain! I felt so ridiculously stupid for the longest time cuz i just couldnt understand why it wouldnt work for me! A huge SHOUT OUT OF THANKS to tlaska and her tutorial Create Like a Pro from the Get Go - part 2. It was very straighforward and simple. As well I sincerely thank the recolorers in the forums who offered tonight to walk me thru on messenger if I still didnt get it to work. Your offers touched my heart. Thanks so much for your care! But thankfully now you dont need to!
Now this opens the doors for my creativity in a seriously massive way. Say good bye to Maxis stuff folks ! ha HA! No I shouldnt say that as I do like recoloring some maxis stuff and I am sure I will still do it but not so much now! I have some amazing ideas floating around for various stuff!
Next steps: get my website up and running!, making clothing and then eventually - maybe by summer?? on to understanding and mastering 3D meshing and making my own meshes. That is MUCH more difficult but the fact that others have done it and are doing it means that i TOO can learn.

Of all the Bad Luck
I have been playing all the pre-made Pleasantview families in an effort to keep their aging up to the Goths. So the first thing that happens is that I go into the Caliente sisters house - Dina hm-hms Mortimer who is waiting outside than they get called to go on an outing and the outing is with Alexander, Don Lothario-Goth- Cassandra, and Bella. So Don reverts to his old ways which sends Cassie, Bella, Dina and Nina Ballistic at him and each other. Fight galore so now I am going in to see the damage to the Goths.

Hi everyone, I haven't made ANY creations since I can't even remember when! It's insane....I've been so busy with school and life that I couldn't bring myself to create any. Also, I know this will disappoint some but I've started playing Sims 2 now because I have a super computer haha that can actually play it. So unfortunately that means I probably won't be making any more Sims 1 creations. Sorry!
Also I will start to upload some new profile pictures and banners since TSR's format changed ;)
I've recently just uploaded a set of eyeshadows called MACpigments for Sims 2. So I'm excited to see those up and hopefully you guys will like them! :)

Texture Challenge 127
Well after so many years here at TSR I have FINALLY got around to participating in the Texture Challenges. I normally dont put sets in a Zip file .. I use batch upload instead but in order to upload the room set i did for this weeks TC i had to put in a zip. Really.. it is continuous learning with sims2 ..LOL.. as I am always learning something new! So I did a room theme... i had a scad of different things i could of done with the available textures .. but only did one. Hope somebody out there likes what i came up with. And of course i used maxis objects.. i mean geesh! I really gottas figure of CC meshes and SimPE. I did another attempt last week and after two trys with two different meshes it STILL didnt turn out. I have NO IDEA what i am doing wrong .. and I even followed a tutorial step by step. LOOL.. there has got to be a resaon WHY it is not working .. higher forces working against me? LOL As there is absolutely no other explaination.. unless of course its because i am just dumb ( ha HA).. but i dont think that is why !
Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.. this is the first time I have been able to sit down today.. and its 5 pm! ( almost time to start cooking supper for petes sake!) Before I know it it will be back to work again! Sigh. The weekends are just too short.
So off I go to upload ( it seems that I spend an awful lot of time uploading ..lol) I have tonnes of stuff to upload besides the TC 127 stuff. Caio for now!
Plans for the Goth Family
I think I am going to stop playing the Goths when Mortimer and Bella die. It is after all their story that Cassandra is telling so it would be wrong to continue it beyond their deaths. I will go back to my legacy family after that.

not posted a blog here so i might as well get started.
right now i am on a mini-holiday. yes, five days. that means three extra days off for me. *yey*. so i am pretty much doing what i usually do. going on my computer, listening to music, writing, singing, reading, playing sims 2..
speaking of sims 2 - i just got sims 2 mansion and garden stuff pack. woo! it's pretty good actually. it's funny when your sim kneals down at the flowers and sniffs them.
so i made my sim a mansion, not pretty stylish. I just made the garden and the home but i only made two of the rooms( the nursery and pet room) because i couldn't be bothered doing the rest. and my dog, Jolly Wings, is pregnant to my other dog, Muggle Wings. it takes them forever to give birth. i just want the puppies! she's still pregnant and won't hurry up and give birth. Muggle and Jolly keep fighting for some reason, Muggle keeps attacking, growling and chasing her. thank god for cheats and hacks so I can control them. i don't want their 100/100 relationship ruined. it took them forever to get to that level.
i also bought mr. magoriums wonder emporium - which i bought with the money to get sims 3 but it is delayed until june *cry*

Birthday Wishes
Hello all, I just wanted to thank everyone for taking the time to pop along and wish me a Happy Birthday, it's much appreciated. Today I'm not doing anything much, but tomorrow my dearly beloved is taking me to Maxi's, which is my favourite Chinese restaurant, for lunch and dim sum!
I got an odd assortment of presents, some books, a lovely scarf, and a bath caddy thing which means I can read my book in the bath without it getting wet!

Hi Everyone
I am currently in the process of putting together 2 New Developments/Projects... whatever you want to call them, to show off here at TSR.
My idea, is to take some of the Maxis Properties, already created in the Base Game and update them. All external features will remain the same on each of the developments, however, internally, things will be different on each of the Properties. The layouts may all be the same, however, the items used and colours won't be. I hope that makes sense?
Watch this space or the TSR Showrooms for progress.

I want to submit some new clothing for sims, but if I upload the file and picture... it says that I didn't submitted a file nor a picture... so if you want some new Ed Hardy Swimsuit for Adults you have to visit my site and download them there.. Well I've got the latest stucco up - a lovely plum colour. A coffee stucco will hopefully soon follow and I'm aiming for a light cream/off white to finish the project. If anyone would like a certain colour just leave a comment!

Well made up the choice on the defaults. I am usign Rensims Hi-Res Peau Defaults. They are gorgeous not as shiny as Enaylas skins but not as Maxisy as Selzi's.
I have submitted Chapter 4 of Reunion- Babies and more babies.
Chapter 5 is on the way and it will be long and essentially nothing but birthdays- Gunther becomes a toddler than a child, Neptune Goth Terrano is born, Cherie has her toddler birthday than her child birthday, the twins and Katelyn become teens, Morts and Bella reach elder and retire- Chapter 6 I am sending everyone on vacation. I need to remember to use a large hotel because between the Goths and Goth Terranos there will be about 12 people on vacation.

Skintones
I have been unable to makup my mind on default skintones lately. I was using Enaylas Pixie Defaults by Sausage but found them to shiny and my sims look plastic. I am in the middle of trying the 2nd Anniversery Skintones by Selzi (I liked her face template replacements and decided to try her skintones) but they are both to Maxisy and Yellowy. So I am either going to move onto HP's Idolatry of the Flesh defaults or Rensims Peau Defaults I am going to try both in game and see how they work out. Normally I love Enayla's skintones but, I have been getting bored with them lately. So anyone who reads my stories will be noticing some skintone changes on my sims over the next few days. I will actually be changing right in the middle of Chapter 4 of my Goth family story just a forwarning.
My Lots, walls etc.
Hi everyone, I seem to have got in the swing of starting to submit some stuff for you all. I haven't quite got my head around what requirements I have to recommend for you to be able to use my stuff.
I have every Expansion and add on for The Sims 2, so I am not sure if I am supposed to recommend that you need everything like me, to be able to use my stuff. I think all my wallpapers should be ok with just the base Game? Can some of you let me know when you download something of mine, how you have got on?
I am working my way reading through Tutorials, so i can be a more confident submitter. Hopefully I will know what i'm doing soon. ha ha...
I love to build crazy and unusual stuff, so expect more crazyness to come! (My hubby doesn't share my love of The Sims and can't understand why I get so excited about stuff I submit). Well It takes a fan to know a fan, I think that makes sense!
