This week I'll be working on my last bunch of TSO object conversions -- for now anyway. I may convert other items at a later date. This set will contain the office clock and elevators that I didn't get finished from previous weeks, an edible wedding cake, and more.

yeah so week one of my final undergrad semester is almost over. looks like im going to be insanely busy...lots of studying and lots of reading, more so than usual it seems. plus i have to help ta for human anatomy...which im nervous and excited for. basically what im saying is my simming days are pretty much on offical hold for a while. ill be around on lazy sundays if my hmwk is done or if i need a study break. hope you all have fun simming while im off getting smart-a-fied and dont forget to stop by and leave me a message letting me know how much you miss me! haha jk. lots of love from stefi :)

No more Sims 2 items coming :(

Sadly, there will be no more Sims 2 items coming up becuase, well, i have had to uninstall all my Sims 2 games for two reasons:

1. Need space for Sims 3

2. I have got a new computer and there is no point puttin it on for like 20 days and having to uninstall it all over again!

So, with that bad news, i have some good news! I will be making SOOO much on Sims 3 and it wont just be Spice Girls! Even though that will be my items, i will be making lots of sims! Including, Spice Girls, Cartoon Characters, Miley Cyrus, The sprouse twins, Ashley Tisdale, Brenda Song and many, many, many more!

Heidi from Voltera and Jacob Black from the Twilight series

I was off yesterday to finally create a wicked, bloodthursty and extremely beiful Heidi, the vampire hunter from Book 2 of the Twilight series. The stuff is that I didn't quite find the right clothes for her, I mean exactly what was described in the book. Also, I have found gorgeous sim ladies, but unfortunately none of them was MEAN ENOUGH. So I played a bit with the eyes in CAS, to make it look more vampire like. I would also need a real vampire skin, something that is brighter than necessary. I built one finally but I'm not 100% satisfied. I have placed her in the Sims catalogue, but haven't assigned a house. (For that I'd need to build a really dark, medieval and mediterranean castle - undergound.)

However, instead of making a good Heidi I could create a fairly good Alice. That was just a sudden idea, because of the pretty face and the hair that went well with it. But unfortunately Alice looks too human, too. And I don't want to give her red eyes, she is supposed to be a veggy vampire just like Edward. Perhaps I shall turn her into a vamp and then try to change the red eyes in the mirror. Got to try that, yeah. On the other hand, I am more than satisfied with being able to use a yellow Porsche with her! (But I noticed now, that the screenshot I made doesn't show that IT IS a Porsche.) Perhaps the true Twilight fans will realize! :D

I had better luck with Jacob Black, but he looks so innocent that he can't possibly be a warewolf. And I have never tried to create a Sim warefold through the game, so... we'll see. So, currently I decided to show Jake BEFORE he phased first. I will need to do something with his face to show him less cute and more powerful. Bad news for my Sim Jake, I will focus on his body points to gain some cool muscles, hahaha! :D He will have to do push-ups all day! (Me, too. My master is more than disappointed at my performance concerning push-ups.) So I guess it will be something like Jake on the screen, me on the floor until he gets red at hygene, and me in the face. We'll both start with total green lines, ;-)

I'd really like to apologize for being on here more rarely than I used to but exams have taken up a lot of my time and attention for the past month. Luckily I'll be done in about 2 weeks, with only 2 more exams left to go, giving me enough time to get back into creating stuff.

I got back to Homecrafter two days ago and made a few walls sets and floors that I can't wait to post, I just need to work on the preview images for them hehe :)

And some of my older clothes sets, I need to take screenshots of those aswell so I can finally post them here.

Oh yeah and I'm just so excited about the Sims 3, less than a month to go till the release!

U-days 2009

Ok...so get this...Every year in our school we have our university days ayt?We have rides in our school...a lot of booths.And this year was just awesome.TWiMES(the name of my group....us bestfriends.)just had a blast.We also got to watch a lot of programs in our school...there was a singing contest,dance competition...and a lot more.The ride that I really liked was the octopus and round up.Round up was this big round cage.You stand up and spins uber fast and it tilts vertically.It starts of horizontal and you go vertical.Awesome.Even though I got a lot of body pains coz of that....it was so worth it.I also got to spend time with my "kuya"(brother in english...he's just my friend...i like calling him my brother coz he is like one to me)and my other friends were there too....even if there from other schools now.Its prety memorable.Now I just gotta do some homework or else....nevermind^^Bye!

I've chosen my mesh, and am setting about a full on retexture. I've also designed the sim i'm going to put it on - this is hopefully going to be a really romantic look. The set is going to be entitled 'Flower in the Wind' and will hopefully turn out well.

In the sims 2 news, I finally found the perfect sized house. Now I'm all moved in. :3 It's really cute can't wait to start playing.

Andretti Part 64

I wanted to let you all know that I have tried uploading it about 5 times for the past week. The images simply are not attatching. I've sent in a support ticket to the TSR Staff, so hopefully this problem will be fixed soon and you guys can get your update. Sorry!

Oh Lord...she's a teenager now!

Jan 28/09 what a day! My youngest daughter, my baby has turned 13 as of today...and I really wasn't ready for that. Although she's a much sweeter & loving version of her older sisters, all I can think is, "Omg...can I - WILL I survive another teen-age girl?". All you mums out there with teen girls probably get what I'm talking about here.

Plus I'm starting to get that good 'ol empty nest thing going on. Only two minor children left here at home, all the others have flown the coop. I must look on the good side of this...hopefully now I'll actually be able to justify spending time with my Sims2, and maybe even get the three houses I've been working on uploaded to here at TSR!

The Luxury Apartments is suddenly out

So I uploadedmy first Apartment creation, and there was no warning, they just published it, for which I am thankful, but it was a suprise. Normally there is an approval and a set publish date, but this time it was skipped. Strange. Anyway, I am just not happy again with the preview pictures, they are so blurred like this.

I guess I am just going back now to plyaing a little, and then the next project will definitely be the continuation of my painters series. Another Kandinsky, then a Klimt, and then I guess a Miro... (And so many others in the line.)

My real wish would be a hangable picture, but for some reason my Sims2 Body Shop keeps sending stupid messages, I just can't use it. It takes something like 20 minutes to start the program, and then it crashes, so I'm fed up. (Actually, sometimes the game crashes, too, sending a message "This Application crashed and will be terminated now" or something like that. All of a sudden, for nothing. I hate it that I have to save it every minute. Once I lost 5 tasks in an almost completed challenge (the garden one with Ivana Garten). And then the whole thing disappeared, together with all my custom sims in that neighborhood. Now, that is not fun.

I am really looking forward to Sims3 but I truly hope these technical problems will be sorted out by now and EA starts really focusing on quality issues, too.

Building frenzy

Happy Wednesday everyone- ugh! Here in SW ontario its dreary, snowing and damp @ 8:59 am today. I am in my robe and slippers drinking my morning coffee- yelling at the kids to either GET UP ( You 're LATE!) or Get GOING! Nobody wants to get up today LOL... either did I .. i am usually up by now!  ( Got two houses today - ugh again) I can hear my teens getting coffees together ( they are off as it is exam week and they are finished) Another day of messenger and hangin around ..oh the life!lol

Last night I was up til 1 am ( my bad) building lots. All week thats what i have been doing.. lots. Cant tell you why.. just got a hankerin for building lots. So I guess you could say I am on a building frenzy LOL ( hence the title of this blog) I hope everyone ends  up liking the new houses. I built some regular contempory ones... and some "modern-looking " ones. I am trying to figure out how some of these builders make their lots the way they do. One of my favourites is kissme87. I suppose it has something to do with the fact that i dont have ANY expansions. And I have been contemplating getting some more again.. just for the build stuff. But I have noticed in the past that when I had Nightlife & Celebration Stuff ( aka Double Deluxe) i didnt get near as many downloads as when I build with Base Game. So that is the main reason i have stuck with Base game only and just relied on Custom Content to add to the lots. ( And also the fact that with expansions I cannot use all the custom content) What do u all think? Should Iget expansions? Let me know please- i am hear for the downloaders.. for YOU.

I also really like Newtlco's houses.. and last week i downloaded two of his as i really wanted the CC he had used in them. They crashed my game!!!! I was soo mad. That happened before with his houses and I sent him a message cuz i am not the only one who has had that happen. And it shouldnt happen as i had a Dual Core QUAD processor with 6 GB DDR2 memory ( RAM memory) and 750 GB hard drive memroy - yes its a titanic!And fast as lightning!! I had to go and strip down my entire downloads folder and re-install everything. Pissed me right off and took an entire night! Never again will i download his stuff even though he has some incredibly nice lots. He really needs to fix that problem.. its just not fair to downloaders.. As a builder myself my goal is that people can ENJOY and PLAY my lots.

So anyway there are at least 4 lots coming out today and 2 more pending approval. i still have two more floor plans I drew up sitting here beside me in my creations notebook i have - where i keep track of my creations. I try to create my onw floorplans from my imaginatin. Sometimes i take a looksy at Coolfloorplans.com to get new ideas .. but I never try to duplicate exactly .. as i know i wouldnt be able to! LOL ( I am limited in somethings i can do within the game) And also i think people appreciate the fact that my lots are MY creations from my imagination not a carbon copy of someone elses idea.

I suppose i will get back to creating re-colors today or tommorrow- i have been busy and so the past two days i hadnt done anything ( and then last night I built two new houses)I have some ideas for new beddings and walls.. and i still have to finish that Bathroom Wall and Floor set i was working on before Christmas! LOL. I havent doen anything with that in 3 weeks - guess i should finsih that before i move on to any more new projects! Yes thats what i wll do- i wont start anything else until i finish the floors ( i think there are still 11 left to do ?) Get the previews pics done and upload it all and THEN i will move one to other stuff. I HATE - absolutely HATE - leaving projects half done - and really that is the only one I have done that with. Oh and I had started a set of recolors of MAXIS Contempto chair - i have one so far but then I left it and moved on- i will go back and finsih that one too.

Well ta ta folks for now- must get another coffee and have a shower. Got to go to work whether i want to or not. Paul and I have been researching into making mony at home online... Paul is a little green and naive ( or rather he was until I educated him) and so I have found a couple of LEGIT things we can do ( that involve work- doesnt everything??) If anyone knows of any - PM me or whatever. To bad I didnt make money from this - Sims- I love it and it takes up alot of my time. And although it is a hobby it would still be great to make a coupla bucks from it.

confusion/multiple accounts

yesterday i made a new account because i just wanted to start off the new year fresh. today, TSR switched my new account back over to this one because apparently, making new accounts is not allowed. i apologize to all TSR staff for making that mistake!
i didn't purposely mean to make "multiple" accounts, i was planning on abandoning this one since there appeared to be no option to shut it down and starting off new.

i submitted two new houses yesterday and tagged them with my new username. if you're thinking, "WTF",
yes, that's me, "sillyworld".

The Very First (and most probably last...) Blog Post!

For those of you that know me a bit already you'll know I can't keep a project going, my brain is like a grasshopper in that it hops here, there, everywhere. (I will not however, make a mess of your lawn)

I'm creating again a little bit now, so look out for some new stuff soon, a brand new lipstick (which I'm really proud of) will be released this coming friday!

First lot accepted

Well I have finally had my first lot accepted for TSR. It is a 3 bedroom family home in a late Colonial Style. It is a split level with attached garage. The lot I am working on now is a wedding park for lack of a better word. The screenies will also be submitted for Yard and Garden if done in time but, this is a Valentines theme lot and I want it to be perfect. It is close right now but, it really needs more flowers and I want to try and fiture out how to do some sort of roofing or something over the wedding area. i love creating gardens more than anything and really don't like the fancy or formal stuff so this lot will be kind of wild and overgrown. I intend to see how my first lot goes over first, and then I will try to get the wedding lot up and running. i was actually going to do an indoor chapel but the Maxis conical roofs are just stupid and the Conical Roof from Vitasims will not sit right so that one is out for now until i figure out a way to do things better. I think that I will also probably do some wallpapers and terrain paints as well. I had some ready to go but couldn't work out the bugs.

New Kitchen Set!

Due to my previous poll, I attempted a kitchen set and it will be uploaded on Thursday. I hope people like it.  I know I haven't recolored much lately but I think I'm over my slump so expect to see more soon!

Might be a bad news to avid Sims fans.

I'm not sure if TSR has heard about it, but I heard that Maxis may delay the release of Sims 3. [I heard about it from Insimenator first, then it had the link to the website which has the full details.]

i'm back with a new username and account! i made the switch because i thought it'd be nice to start the new year off fresh with bigger, better houses.
my first submission was sent last night and it has already been accepted! i submitted "elegance" a few hours ago, hopefully it will be accepted soon.

something to believe in

i've been wanting a cat for a really long time now. my parents won't let me get another one though, because when my only cat died of cancer, everyone in my family was depressed and they don't want to go through it again. today i found an animal shelter in my town with the most adorable cat in the WORLD.

she's so cute. she's only two years old and i want to adopt her more than anything. i showed both my parents, and with two tear-filled arguments, i think i might have finally gotten to them. my dad said he'd talk to my mom about it. i really really really hope i can adopt her. wish me luck!

Taking part in the Yard&Garden competition-The Sims 3 DELAY

I just uploaded my entries for the competition, you can view the screens at the theme uploads page.This competition caused me to stop my projects for a couple of weeks, but now I will get back at working on one of my apartment Lots.The competition has as a first prize the sims 3(a preorder) but the rest of the gifts are amazing too!Thank you TSR for organizing,if that would be the right word,the competition and gave us the oportunity to see spectacular gardens, so GOOD LUCK to everyone!

Though I am exited about the competition and can't wait until the sims 3 comes out, but unfortunately I have heard a rumor (and only a rumor for the moment) that the sims 3 release date will be postponed and the waiting fever will have to burn twice as hot as it is now.I really hope that this is just a rumor I mean I was devastated,lost touch with the world I was just looking at the screen trying to figure out if what I just read was true or a BAD joke.Well the 20th of february is getting closer every day and only time (and EA of course!) will tell whether or not the sims 3 will be shiped in time.Saying goodbye for now ,after I told you something that has been on the web for a couple of days and you may already know.Have an amazing day both a normal day and a simday!
