MORE EP problems
Well I dont know what the problem is but we bought ourselves another defective Sims stuff pack. Problems opening objects on the game. Guess we are headed back to the store today to refund! GRRRR. Mia has decided to just trade for a game for her DS Lite. good idea! No more EPS for Sims 2. I have SIMS 3 on pre-order anyway.. waiting for Feb 17th. I certainly hope that it is not a disappointment.. as I have been very disappointed over the years with MOST of Sims 2 expansions.. the only ones I have really liked are University,Seasons and NightLife. The rest I have been unimpressed.. but maybe thats because i like Custom content better. i also download Careers @ Mod the Sims and other CC at Mod the Sims and other various sites. The new careers make for more interesting gameplay. Not that i play the game anymore... perhaps i will get back into enjoying playing with Sims 3. i know I will at first as it is new.. eventaully the novelty will wear off. So prepare for a lapse in creating maybe for a short time when Sims 3 comes out. i will try to not stop creating as best as my time affords! :)Another shot at posting pics

Well previously I blogged on how my youngest had bought "FreeTime" EP with some of her christmas money . And she and I didnt like the fact that we couldnt really play all the Custom content i have on my PC ( which i have a very powerful pc so i cannot understand why??)As it turned out there was a glitch in the Ep anyway as it wouldnt load the families that came with the EP sooo we took it back to Staples and were able to trade it for "Mansion and Garden" Stuff . So now I have that instead along with the Base Game.( Most of you may wonder why i have JUST the Base Game? i prefer it as I can download thousands of CC stuff with just that .. and I prefer the CC to maxis stuff!)But now i will be building with Mansion and Garden stuff so I hope that doesnt deter people from downloading my LOTS. As well I will attempt to recolor the Stuff packs stuff as most of the Maxis colors are HORRID as usual. ( i think they do it on purpose!)Also last night I was up WAY late creating beddings.. i dunno i was just in the mood to do that. As well in the evening i had taught my youngest PRINCESS MOOMOO (on here) how to do beddings also and she made some really nice ones so please PLEASE take a look at her page and check out her new beddings coming out and her new lots ( she has 4 i think) and she is getting quite good! Pretty amazing since she is only 10! ( she will be 11 in March) Mia has always be an avid video game player and was busy on the pc when she was just 4 years old! Smart as a whip she is!

Well it is now 2009! Yay! And I have lots of plans for the Sims 2 recolors and maybe a story or two. I really am interested in you opinions! After my long break, I have even more stuff coming soon! I hope you are all enjoying my just released Modern Roof Set :). I have finally gotten around to submitting the three Extreme Homemakeover Stories I mentioned months ago! I hope you will enjoy them as much as I enjoyed writing them! :D And finally, I should have a new set submitted soon (like within the next week). It is another Maxis Match set, but that is all I will say for now :-PWell, that's it for now!

Hey!Just thought I'd give you all a quick update since I've been rather on the absent side lately!
Anyone who read my previous entries will know that I've had no end of hassle and problems with my old computer recently, so I've been unable to do any creating. I'm happy to say that I now have a brand spanking new computer, and once I've got everything downloaded and installed that I need, I WILL BE BACK with lots of goodies for you!
Anyway, just thought I'd keep you all updated, and to let you know that NO, you haven't got rid of me that easily!!

Hello,As many of you know, I have been absent from the Sims community, on many sites, for quite some time.
I feel it is time to move on from The Sims, and pursue other dreams that I have. This includes college. In August, I will be moving away from home and will be going to a 2-year graphic design school in Des Moines, Iowa. After graduation from college, I hope to do some internships and summer moves to New York City, and hopefully one day move there.

Happy New Year
I just wanted to wish you all a happy New Year, so...Happy New Year. I finaly got some time and energy to make some lots hope you like them.Bad News
My computer has been infected by a vicious set of trojans/viruses/who knows. I don't know when I will be up and running again, so everything will grind to a halt while I try to fight this thing. I wish that people who do this kind of thing would get a clue. Personal responsibility is the name of the game. If you don't have that, then you aren't really human. I do have backups so hopefully I can wipe the hard drive and restore from the backups or something. But there is a chance the backups are infected, too, so I don't know yet. I have other computers in my house, so I will keep you posted as I am able. **sigh**The Drawing Board...
I so loved building the Stoneyville Gated Community, that I have a couple more projects in the works along the same line. I'm starting work on a Retirement Village & a Trailer Park today, so stay tuned!Love & Hugs to all

Attention all Punkers!
Attention all punkers! ( or former punkers!) Stuck inside due to extreme bitter cold I decided to make a Punk Rock Poster Collection which consists of 10 old school classic punk bands. Why? Because believe it or not when I was 17 ( Wayyyyy back in the day circa 1987) i had a big black mohawk , wore goth make up and doc marten boots and listened to these very same bands! yes my kids get a real kick out of the fact mom had a mohawk! LOL So enjoy! And here is a sneak preview
Cubist Dining
I have a couple of modifications to make to the NK Cubist Dining mesh set. The end table is a bit strange looking due to a file problem. I've corrected that and will post the updated copy as soon as I can get help from the TSR staff. I'll let you know when it is posted.I'm also going to try to correct certain issues with a couple of the other files. They may not be big or important issues, but they are things that bother me, so I'll be correcting those too as I get time and explaining them when they are done.
I also have a recolor of this set coming up, but I sort of want to wait until I get these issues corrected. Hope to have them for you soon. Hope everyone is enjoying 2009.

So there are quite a few Amercians that download my stuff i am sure .. and so i made a bunch of patriotic American stuff in appreciation of my American downloaders! 4 new wallpapers and 3 new beddings that should go with the wallpapers if you decided to mix and match! So here is a sneak preview of my PURPLAID Bedroom Set that i made last night when i was up til 2 am..lol. It consists of 6 items and will go with dressers and bookshelves i have previously made. For some strange reason Wizard of SimPE wouldnt allow me to recolor the moneywell computer last night or i would of included a purple computer. Look for Add-ons to this set shortly.. like a purple desk and computer etc. Hope everyone likes this one anyway. I thought it was cute!i am uploading it today so it should be out by the end of the week!

Happy new year 2009
Happy New Year everyone! I certainly hope 2009 is a good year. My 2008 wasnt bad.. not at all. I didnt like the way somethings turned out near the end but Que Cera cera i guess...2009 hold s lots of promise of course .. in my life anway and of course i have some vague resolutions as well. ( i didnt write them down or anything ..but I guess i will be on here:)
This year :
1. Quit smoking ( this has been an unsuccessful resolution for far too many years but alas i will try again!!)
2. Lose 20 pounds ( another unuccessful one- continually thwarted by my intense love for ice cream!!)Sigh
3. Take some classes.. get more hobbies. I like digital photography, web design, plants( horticulture)indoors AND outdoors
Thats about it! How bout you? Any resolutions?
2009 should be an "interesting" year on the global scene.. with more war, famine and disease. A big war is on the horizon and more weird wacky weather due to planet X coming our way. Sorry to sound like a "doomsayer" but quite frankly I beleive we are heading towards the Apocolyse written in Revelation. May God have mercy on us all!
In the meantime however I still will keep creating stuff to enjoy on Sims2. Its hobby of mine that makes me happy.. and although video games really are a waste of time.. sometimes we have to tune out for abit and have fun. years back i was obsessed with Sims1 and then sims 2 that I did nothing else except hours and hours of gaming. That is unbalanced and wrong. Although I am totally addicted to creating i balance it out.. between work and family and other hobbies.
Have a great restful new years day and hope none of you are too hungover! I stayed home with the family last night.. and actually was up til 2 am creating beddings..lol. i hadnt been spending too much time on here lately so i was making up for lost time I guess! LOL. And of course I knew I could sleep in this morning ( otherwise I would never of stayed up so late!)Which I did... i slept in til 10 - wow! i never sleep in past 9 am...

New Poll, again ;P
I have a new poll on my page concerning what types of houses simmers like to download, this one has been up for a few days and I find it interesting that no one has picked community lots as of yet. I dislike making community lots because when I actually played the game I never used community lots because I found them lagging and tedious to get through. I think in the 4 years I have been creating for this game I have only made 4 or 5 community lots and I know I have made over 100 residential homes. It seems that vast majority of people like to have their houses partly furnished. For the most part I like to furnish my homes, but I do at times leave one for the downloader to furnish. Maybe I will start creating an unfurnished or partly furnished version of my homes for those of you who like to furnish your own home, but I don't think I will give up furnishings my homes for those you who like to have a place that your Sim can just move into.Happy Simming,

New Lots
For Christmas I bought myself the new stuff pack "Mansions and Gardens". I was excited that Maxis had finally put out a stuff pack that is geared towards the aspect of the game that I enjoy - building and landscaping. I am enjoying the new objects and have built a few new lots with them. Although I wish there were more plants in the stuff pack, I suppose I would never think there were enough plants since I love to landscape!One of the new lots is 10 Bard Boulevard which I built in Veronaville. It's my first effort with the new stuff pack items but I really love the way it came out. I have been playing around a lot lately with the ground lowering tools and the "boolprop constrainfloorelevation" cheat so I scooped out a walk-out basement and also created a paintable staircase with huge cement ramps on the sides for a dramatic entry with sculpures at the base. It's got five stories all in all and plenty of yard space too. Could be made to look really spooky with some more careworn sidings. Enjoy!

New Minisite
Hi everyone, welcome to my new minisite. I feature beautiful homes for your Sims. I try to make my homes as realistic as posible with real life looking structures and landscapes. I love a beautiful garden, so my lots are well landscaped. Adding as many unique features as possible to each lot always gets my creative juices flowing to come up with new ideas and to learn new skills. However, my main goal is to make each lot playable, and one you and your Sims will love. Game enjoyment is a must. Yes, boredom. So, I decided I'll blog...about something. Did everyone have a good Christmas, *cough* I mean holiday? Oh! I actually sort of, maybe, kind of have some interesting news. I made a story! I didn't come up with the plot line (I definitely CANNOT write to save my life.), I actually just set it to an All Time Low song. The song is Remembering Sunday and that is also the title to the story. I'm so excited that I made a story! I'm branching out, you see. Maybe later I'll make a clothes set of men's underwear or something. Or maybe I shouldn't stretch myself THAT much. I did make some color sets however. Purple, blue, and black/white(inspired by White House Black Market). Then I made some Mayday Parade shirts and added some more bands onto the request list. Hey, i know what. I'll put the request list on here so if anyone ever...like...wanted to know...or if...they cared *trails off*the Ataris

Back home safely despite the storms, minus 3 degrees to 63 degrees in 24 hours, power outage here, and a partially flooded basement. We should probably move, but we love all the seasons. I've had a request from Sheila for a cashcraft VintageCharm remake of my Dark mouldings. Open ended walls and left and right pillared versions to be able to make any sized panels or none at all. Such a smart idea! Here they are. Due to be published January 3, 2009!

Hello guys! I have no content to offer you here except my screenshots and now I've thought about it...I've been asked a lot on how I edit my pictures or screencaptures here or on my other Sims 2 communities. Not until dear KateK (and two other Simmer friends) asked me that I've finally thought about making a tutorial on how I edit my works or the softwares that I use... I've always thought my editing is plain simple but am happy some of you guys like my in-game works. So, thank you much. :)
I'm planning to upload an editing tutorial (Enhancing your Sims 2 Pictures with Photoimpact) hopefully within the week. Might be out here in my TSR minisite or in my Flickr ( http://www.flickr.com/photos/tictic ). I technically use three softwares for editing: Adobe Photoshop CS2, Photomatix Pro and Photoimpact - but its my works in Photoimpact that I get asked a lot so that's where I'm going to focus. I'm done with all the tutorial screencaptures... Just editing and re-editing the texts that will go along. Stay tuned.

Shop Set AddOn
Working on a few more pieces to go with the High Fashion Shop Set before I move on to other things. I think this will be a small set: another clothes rack, shelving for rack, and new clutter object. I wanted to try my hand again at making a better mesh for the clothing on the rack and am fairly happy with what I've come up with. It needs to be sized bigger and the texture needs work still.
I might even try to make those dresses for Sims to wear, but not making any promises ;-)
Maxis Reloaded...
Hi My Fellow Simmers!
I sometimes wonder if computers really add some extra special bonus value to our lives! We don't have problems with electricity very often but the other night I was writing an e-mail when all went black, my computer made an interesting sound and I was afraid of the worst! And I was not wrong!!
In three years this is now the third time I'm reloading Sims2 to my computer because of such major problems! I am not happy about that!
This means that my newest lot (in the picture) is gone before I could submit it. Great.
This means that all my sims are gone, generations of educated interesting charachters. Great.
This means that I have to reload about 7000 custom items that I had in my files. Great.
This means that to be able to just play I've already spent 10 hours during Christmas reloading and searching for my favourite items and I haven't finished yet. Great.
The good thing is that I already know by heart my favourite artists!!! I know where to look for! And this time I will only download TSRAA building and furnishing items to be absolutely sure I will not submit anything that I'm not allowed to! So, there may be a longer break before I submit anything. On the other hand, while the construction work in Simlington (former Pleasentview) continues I may be able to submit some new lots because I will not have my sims live in the Maxis houses:))!! I have huge amount of construction work ahead!!
Yes, what else is there in life than rebuilding the Simland????

Willington Wold Castle
I hope you all had an amazing Christmas and that 2009 will bring you happiness and joy!!
Its been a while since I have had the time to update my blog as my life at home has been rather hectic the past 6 months or so but this does not mean that I have not been around. I try to pop into the site for a few minutes every day to read all the lovely comments you leave on my lots and I appreciate every single one of them.
Although my building time has been somewhat limited lately I had a few quiet days just before and after Christmas and I have been using this time to work on 2 versions of a new lot named Willington Wold Castle.
The first version is Willington Wold Ruins and shows the Castle in a state of disrepair and ruin – this version is furnished for a single sim and is still completely weather proof as all the ‘holes’ in the walls are actually Cylonesue’s amazing windows. Your sim can lead a quiet life among the ruins or work to repair the Castle to its former glory.
The second version is the restored Willington Wold Castle – the new owners have rebuild the outside of the Castle and have managed to furnish the inside to be a comfortable home for a small family complete with a teen suite located in the old gatehouse.
I hope you will have as much fun with this lot in your game as I had in building it.
A huge big special thank you to Cyclonesue for the amazing windows and vines, Dot for the stunning stair-lights (in the restored castle) an Solfal for the bathroom set (in the ruins of the old castle) without your creations this lot would not be possible.

yeesh! I was so busy posting pics of my puppy I never thought to give a sneak preview of my new set. Its nothing fancy.. but i hope somebody likes it out there!
Oh by the way.. this shot was taken in the diningroom of a new lot by my 10 year old Mia . Her username on here is Princess MooMoo and she is a really great aspiring builder! i loved the room so much i used it as my "studio" for the preview! Ok ay so i am back to creating full force .. sort of ( i mean with work this week crammmed into 3 days again) Also i had an estimate for a new cleaning customer whcih made me very happy as I definately need more work! Money is tight around here right now with my hubby off work injured. Anyhoo.. I started some new beddings , got a bunch of walls to upload, and I uploaded a bluewood diningroom recolor set ( for my good friend Squeakers .. who loves blue! Hope you like it.. I will make more Denise :)). Have yet to put together the bathroom wall and floors sets - its large and I keep getting distracted with other ideas! LOL I will in the next few days as I have a couple days off due to New Years. Also iwanted to share some photos with you all of me , my kids and my pets.. and especially my beloved Puppy Reuben who is growing like a wild weed .. he is only 3 and half months old but he is gonna be HUGE! he is such a smart puppy too!
