Merry Christmas everyone, and a Happy New Year.May I actually get off my butt (or onto it) and finish testing and making preview images for my witches hats, hehe.
Now I can see...!
HAPPY HOLIDAYS! And thanks for making this year a very special one for me!Bought myself a new flat monitor plus eye glasses. Wow! I can see both at close range and at distance! Haven't been able to do that for years... BUT I'm also starting to see FLAWS in my creations, what a horrible sight! Can't understand how I could miss them before. For some clothes the templates are tricky because you need to check the Bodyshop image to see what the piece really looks like. And those damned images are so SMALL! So it's really first in the game that you can check out your stuff. I've always done so and didn't see anything alarming, but now I'm blushing all over when I realize how much I've missed... I will have to do updates for those creations that now look less-than-perfect. That will keep me busy for some while...
I'm not sure whether I'm in the mood for building or for designing clothes? Well, I have a 3-week holiday so I'll probably have time for both! (When you can't choose, just take it all.)

I get the sneaking suspicion that The Powers That Be have pooh-poohed my request for a name change....Oh, well, I am still The Kattzyze, and everyone knows this, that knows me, that is...But from know on all my creations (and there will be some new ones soon; I am about to be unemployed and will have plenty of time on my hands...) will be under the name of Kattzyze - DiamondSim no longer exists as of now, MY DECREE.The Tetrode Family
I am delighted that we now have the ability to upload families to TSR. Here's my first upload, the Tetrode family: siblings, Tarka and Tai and their rather amorous robot companion, i-Bot.
The family had to move to a new city after an incident involving i-Bot. The details are shady but it might be worth keeping an eye on anyone who gets close to to Tai...
When you first enter this lot, you'll find it's first thing in the morning; they've just moved in and have blown most of their cash on a few luxury items. They need to start a home business, make some money, furnish the house and find friends and perhaps love.
As you can see, they have skills, talent badges and a stocked home business that just needs to be started by phone. They require NL and OFB only and come with their home (my Cube Robotics lot.)
You'll find there are two servos on the lot that are all ready to be activated or sold. Be aware that if you sell them, none of the Sims yet has the skills to make another. Oh, and you might want to check some of the robots in the shop... they might need some attention before they can be sold (or trashed....)
Please only install this family ONCE in any or each of your neighbourhoods to avoid problems with duplicate Sims!
I hope you'll give this family a go; they will be published next Tuesday, the 30th December. Have fun with them.

Whichever holiday you may be celebrating this Christmas, I wish you health, happiness and joy along with my best wishes for 2009.Thank you to those who have contacted me, commented or downloaded my lots this year. It's very much appreciated. I'm sorry I don't always have time to thank people for their comments individually - RL doesn't allow me much time for the Sims, so what time I do have tends to go on building and uploading.
McQueen Mania!
I've always loved McQueen's designs but I've never done any clothing for the Sims 2 from him - now, it's time to change this! I've made a make-up set from the F/W 07-08 fashion show and it will be published tomorrow. Then I will release three dresses from that show :D And now I'm thinking of a huge upload from his S/S 08 fashion show as well :DOf course, I'm working on many other sets right now as well - I didn't forget about the Kate Moss styled Top Shop outfits either! ;)
Special events...
I was just thinking about my starting of creating lately. It was *shocked* only a year ago that I've posted my first creation to the public! It was exactly on 16th December - I will totally celebrate that date!But the really shocking is that I was "hiding" in the community for so many years! It was in April in 2006 that I registered here! And I just don't know why was I so stupid that I didn't posted my creations here from the start... Well, I suppose I'm not too late anyways.
I hope you like my Minisite, and watch out, my Adidas stuff is coming tomorrow, and I'm working on two new sets right now (surprise!).

Hi guys! Sorry for the Prolonged absence! Lots of stuff happened over the past few months that I wasn't able to update new stuff, not to mention the fact that when my laptop broke down, I had LOTS already made to publish but did not make it! Anyway, I am trying to reinstall the Sims 2 in my laptop, which has been fully repaired again for the 3rd time in just three months! I hope to be submitting again sometime this week! Wow, I reached 100,000 downloads! I know for some people it's probably not much, but it still means a lot to me. Trying out skin tones
I am attempting to make different skin tones with tattoos. The skin tones I am finding out are much more difficult than I thought they would be. But I have a dark skin tone and pale fantasy type working its way out for download. I have tried them in game I think they are looking pretty good. The tattoos are able to be seen which was my main concern, Oh and have an even skin tone as well. This is an accomplishment so I am now onto my newest which will include a male skin tone as well. with tattoos. Yay! so be looking for this within the next week!Bye bye... For now
Major computer woes -- a bad motherboard, I think. For the time being and the foreseeable future, I'm reduced to using my old iMac. And as all my Sims software is for the PC, and wouldn't run on this 400MHz machine anyway (God, to think this was once upon a time the state of the art!), it's going to be some time before I can even play The Sims again, let alone create more custom content for you all.Maybe Santa will come through with a bright shiny new PC, who knows? In the meantime, Happy Holidays to you all and I'll see you -- sometime -- in 2009.

Hi everybody. After a really busy November and a even worse December I finally reach the day of my vacation. 2 weeks with my family relaxing, eating, enjoying, eating and simming. I'm going to release two new sets this weekend. They're both called Victorian. I took a lot of inspiration from the BBC's Tess of The D'Urbervilles series. I tried to make a Tess sim, but I don't think she resembles herself very much:) The biggest challenge was to create her outfit, I wanted it to be tattered and dirty, simply something you would never wear:) I'll leave it to you if I was successful enough.. Here some random shots I couldn't use for the preview. Starring: Cassandra Goth, mr Dreamer(can't remember his first name) and a Tess sim:) Wouldn't she make a perfect Jane Eyre?!

This is a tragic makeover of that Dreamer guy who loves her. I made the face mask which includes that scar and all the little ugly things you see on his face..I still don't know if I upload it.
The final picture is my poor version of Tess:)I didn't make the make-up or the skintone, I just created the sim, to say it all correctly.

Con artist
If anyone was to build a lot that had big, gaping holes throughout, incomplete walls, no ground-level floor tiles at all, no nice decor, had open-to-weather areas, no proper roof where there should be a roof, no windows, a mostly-missing upstairs level and complete tat instead of proper furniture inside it - and THEN had the utter nerve to upload it(!), you would be forgiven for assuming that:- the builder is incompetent - they'll soon be barredTin Can Alley is now released. Some people can obviously get away with anything!
- the builder is a con artist - they'll soon be reported
- the builder is insane - they need help
- the builder is Cyclonesue...
And in case you think I'm trying to steal all the, erm, credit here, I just want to do some blatant fan-girling! This lot would NOT have been possible had it not been for the work of some of my favourite creators here:

SallyHails in memoriam
Sad sad news:I heard from qvisn today that my TSR-friend SallyHails had died in a car crash today. Her husband is at the hospital, uncounscious of all that has happened. I am devastaded to hear the news and all this makes me so very sad!
I only knew Sally from the TSR, but I really liked her, her sense of humour and the joy of life! We had such nice chats and she was always very helpful and caring and her messages made me happy. And she was also such a talented artist! I'm all in tears, trying to work, but I am finding it hard to concentrate...
God bless Sally, I'm sure we will all remember her as someone very special!!! My thoughts are with her husband and her family and all those who knew her in real life.

I am aggravated today. Last night I built an adorable PINK house with pink everything and lots of custom content by me. I decorated the yard and it was so sweet. Anyways i cant upload it. it just doesnt load! So I went in and trimmed it to get the package file smaller. i did that 3 TIMES! grrr... til nothing left of the lot except the house itself.! ARGH! But still this morning it wont upload! I will have to figure out how to fix it..as I spent all night on it and i wouldnt be able to exactly duplicate it! Geesh!UPDATE: By using Sim2CleanInstaller I fixed the problem and was able to upload! YAYAY!

Update: SA status and TS3
I haven't been around for awhile and just wanted to update everyone. Real life keeps me very busy these days. The fall and winter months are always hectic for me because of my job. Since my schedule and ability to create new lots are so erratic, I have resigned as Select Artist. There are far more deserving folks out there who can contribute more regularly. But I will continue to build and submit lots, just as soon as my life gets back to normal.That said, I am getting excited about the release of TS3 in February! I doubt I will play and build for TS2 once I get TS3. So you might not see too many TS2 lot submissions from me in the future.
I expect to have a week off the first week in March so I can play TS3 until my eyes bleed and my head melts. :P

Reeeetirement!
Huh?? I'm only in my (nearly) mid thirties and already I'm retiring?? Yep. Hey, I know you're not going to miss me! lol. Real life has just become way too hectic! I have retired from making stuff on here. That's it, nothing more, the shop is shuttified. It is a sad day...well for me anyhow! lol. But I've just got too many other wonderful things going on in my life right now, so the Sims are going to have to take a step back for a long time! And I will miss them. But right now, there are too many amazing adventures in real life to be had! So many dreams of mine are starting to come true. New man, new job, new home!!Here's wishing everybody a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!!

Problems
I've been trying for about a week now to upload some new creations, but it keeps messing up. I've decided that my computer goes through these rebellious stages where I can upload anything, whether it be pictures, videos, or, say, sims creations. So, I suppose I'll keep trying. Anyway though, I've been working hard on some vintage stuff: high waists, plaid, lace, and the like. I'm extrememly excited about those couple of sets. Hopefully they will be uploaded and published soon. I just published some additional male clothes. And they've done kinda of mediocre. For some reason, male clothes don't go over as well as female clothes.So I thought that I should say some more about yours truly. As in, non-sims stuff. Because you already know how amazingly talented I am in that area, right?
