Regency Dining Room Screenies
What's New! I am working on a British Regency (1811-1820) "inspired" dining room. This time of year seems the perfect time for a dining room big enough for large family gatherings. I've just about finished the Regency Dining Room collection. I'm also working on Vintage Charm Floral Part II--which I hope to publish soon. I created a new chandelier for my Regency dining room collection--the polygon count is not too high at 2586 faces. I recommend using just 1 chandelier over the 3-tile dining table. I have posted several screenies of the Regency Dining Collection at the bottom of my mini-site. The lovely wallpapers pictured in the screenies are by Jsf Designs. Thanks Judi! Terrible feeling
Well, this is good-bye I suppose. I've had a fun ride with TSR, but with all of the work issues and computer issues, I just can't see staying around. I requested Thomas and Steve to drop me as an FA--and they did without a word. So, thanks guys! Anyway, if I am ever up and running properly, I'm sure I'll create again. Keep your eye out for me. Finished at last!
I finally have my latest house finished. I've been working on it for some time now - between other houses. It has a unique floor plan, large rooms, basement games room, a very large kitchen and 3 spacious bedrooms. I hope you like it. I am also just finishing up a Mediterranean style house and a modern home.

I just uploaded a new set i had been working on. Its nothing fancy .. just a diningroom with recolored Maxi base game furniture. But when I get an idea i have to get it created!! And of course I would of uploaded it days ago! but I had a few other ideas i had to get created as they came to mind!!I haven't created too much this week as we brought home our new lab pup Reuben last Friday! WHEW! its like having a toddler running around ( he's 8 weeks old) and i am just not used to it having older kids and all! I have to watch him like a hawk! And between work and him and hubby and kids .. by the time i sit down at my pc I am too pooped to do much but check my downloads on here and return comments etc!before I hit the hay! LOL

Hi, Submitted today: Beautiful rustic Italian house, inspired by Perelinka's great wall decor. Shakeshaft's lovely garden creations add special charm to the sheltered garden. And my all time favourites Cyclonesue, Spaik and Steffor have helped me to decorate the interior with their great TSRAA creations!

Bright yellow kitchen, lovely place to start the morning with a cup of coffee.
Perelinka's Van Gogh inspired wall papers and beddings add special cham to this first floor bedroom.
There are 3 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, kitchen, diningroom, spacious living area and a tv-room. Garage and a lovely sheltered garden with a pool.

Here...finally!
After a long absence, I have returned to TSR.I had fallen ill, and while recuperating my motherboard blew and I had to get a new PC. Long story short, when I went to upload Sims 2 on my new computer I couldn't find all my disks. I threw my hands in the air and figured at some point I would replace them. Well, it's taken from then until now, but I am now up and running with Sims 2 again. I hope to be uploading some new lots and creations as soon as I can.
I missed you all. It's good to see some familiar friends, and I look forward to making some new ones, too.
Oh, and my screen name has changed from SimsLvrGrl2 to just SimsLvrGrl. As GirlFromMars said as she so awesomely helped me log back into my account, "Makes more sense, there's only one of you, right?" So true, though occasionally I do wish there was more than just one of me...that way I'd have the other one of me do my chores while I made things for the Sims all day! XD Ha!

NS University Project - UPDATE!!
I have always meant to create a University based on my NostreSim Community lot, but as I am scatterbrained it sometimes takes me a while to get going on these big projects. ;) I have finally begun building the University, and to date have completed 2 lots - Both community, although Dorms are up next. LOL! Here's some previews so you can see how they'll go together in-game. (I am creating these in a University sub-hood, and using the Pleasantview template in case you wish to set them up the same way I have them pictured. :) ) NostreSim University...

How to rent an apartment furnished
To rent an apartment furnished, you need to use the cheat:[CTRL-SHIFT-C]

Then choose the apartment door you want to rent, and while you click on it, press the SHIFT key. There will now be an option to rent the apartment furnished!
Remember to then reverse the cheat! if you do not, it can be harmful to your game.

Update on Me II
I wanted to let you all know that we are postponing the exploratory surgery for now. We've decided to see how much can be accomplished through physical therapy, and then if I am not 100%...then, surgery will be scheduled.With that in mind, I am grateful. Two horrible surgery experiences after another, I was not mentally ready to undergo another. Bad luck comes in three's, and I hate to see how Surgery #3 turned out.
I really, really miss creating and my Andretti's, and I hope that soon I can have time for them again. I am off on Thursday, and as of right now...I've no plans. So, hopefully I can get something out by then. If not, I also do not work this weekend, so I will have a few hours to work then, as well.
Sunday, Lovey and I are planning to do some Metal Detecting down at the river. So, depending on how are luck is fairing, I may not be able to work on the Andretti's then, but as of right now, Thursday and 1/2 of Saturday seem to be my only time.
I want to thank all of you for your patience. You really are some great, great people. I appreciate the kindness and understanding that you all possess, and even the special one's who take time to wish me luck and pray for me...you all hold a dear spot in my heart, even though I do not always show or say it. You guys are awesome!

Computer going bad :(
Yup, that's true, my computer is going cuckoo! Therefore, I am currently unable to even start my sims game - and it is only the last of many problems. I've been putting off re-installing everything for a long time because it will be very time-consuming, especially putting back on all the sims EP and Stuff *faints*I will probably do it this week, so hopefully I should be able to upload my new sets soon (I have a couple who were just waiting for me to take the screenshots! That makes me sad!) Worst case scenario, I might not upload anything for a couple of weeks; next week I need to start my studying and essays for uni's end of term, so I won't have much time for the Sims.

My Name Change

I'm posting updates a little earlier than planned but I'm not expecting to have too many other opportunties over the next week to do it. I'm also completely bored out of my mind right now. So here we go... First, I want everyone to know that every Wednesday and Sunday I will have something up for download. I selected those days because they seem to have the least amount of uploads from other artist and so it might help me get a chance at one of the coveted featured slots on the front page. I've been very lucky to have had two sets featured so far; SS Child Sundress and Unisex SS Sweater sets. I know last month I said I wouldn't be using the regular patterns anymore but I had a little change of heart and decided to do one more set. I promise this will be the last one.
Now for the new patterns. Ten only this time. This first set was a request from JLOtero (Jenna). I'm not much for request but I will take suggestions and this outfit I had planned to recolor anyway. So it all worked out in the end.
This next set I decided to do because, like most of you have already noticed, there aren't many options for elders out there. That and I really couldn't pass up this very cute outfit from the Apartment Life EP.
Then last but never least another jewelry set. Like all previous sets, one only requires the base game and the other requires Bon Voyage. This set is named for my niece Mary Rose. She's 21, on first impression very shy and quiet but after some time she'll talk your ears off. She is also the mother to a very cute and mischievous 21 month old little boy named Selden.
On a side note of things to come...
I've been working on building some lots but I won't upload any until probably December. I really want to play them to test them and I haven't had the chance yet.
I don't want you guys to think I'm abandoning clothes though. I have a decent little list with about ten more outfits I have planned to recolor for all ages. Also more jewelry to come, maybe even some for the guys.

Submission Troubles
I hope to get the cashcraft VintageCharm set uploaded this morning. I have tried entering all the descriptions and files only to be timed out after hitting the update button, not once, but four times! This set will publish (hopefully) on the 15th of November to coincide with cashcraft's next release of items for this set.I've created a new moulding I am calling "OakOrnate". Please let me know if you like it and please feel free to offer suggestions for the center panel colors.
Spreading the good news
I've been away from here for a long time. Honestly, I needed to be away from any and all drama. I've learned to mesh clothing, and I did try once to submit a set of recolors of one of my meshes, only to have it turned down, because I change the name of my stuff. Whoever turned it down claimed that without the number string that Body Shop puts at the beginning of an item, it won't work. That simply isn't true. Lots of people have successfully used my clothing, with the name changes. Since I've pretty much been doing only clothing for months, I haven't had anything to submit here that they would accept.And then my friend Frogger started to mesh objects. She does beautiful work, and I want to share it with you. I'm currently working on a recolor of one of her mesh sets to submit here. Possibly two. I know you'll like her work, too.
You probably won't see too much of me here, though, because clothing is still my favorite thing to create, especially now that I can do basic meshing. I'm still a newbie at it, but having tons of fun!
I don't know if anyone reads these things, but I thought I'd let you know, just the same. lol

I`m having a whole theme going on here. I made a shopping center for my down town lots, very stylish. It�s coming out today (the 9.) so enjoy. I�m of to celebrate my nephew/god sons 2 years birthday today, that should be fun. He want�s a tractor and a cow so that�s what he�s getting.
The next week I will finish up some lots I have lying, because I`m going to Los Angeles the week after (doing a little happy dance). Besides for the 11 hour flight and the fact that I can�t sim for a week, it�s going to be fun.

Struggeling with Appartment Life
Instead of creating I'm in a fight with my new Appartment life installation.After installing a pack, I'm used to take some efforts to get custom content showing up.
But I seem to have one or more custom files in my game that are not compatible with the new pack. Now I'm on the long way isolating the bad files.
Sorry, the next sets have to wait some days.
Well, the problem is solved but I'm not happy about my discovery. There was no bad file. With AL the number of custom files in the game seems to be restricted. Everything works fine since I took 3 GB off my DL folder.
I'm a bit sad because I was used to play with 16GB custom content - now I have to come along with 14GB - clothes and Sims included. That means I have to decide wich 6 GB of my downloads stay off my game - that's a hard decision.

Honestly this poll seemed to me really interesting, and the results are quite surprising. As for me, I don't anwer all comments, only those which have something to say. For example I don't reply to "thank you"s.
H&M Autumn Collection
After I released my H&M Summer Style Superset, I was asked if I could make an Autumn Collection. So here is Part 1. I had a lot of fun creating this set, taking meshes which weren't suitable for the summer set and trying out different ideas until I was happy with the result. The H&M meshes are pretty restrictive; it isn't possible to alter the basic shape of the clothing that much as the different parts are usually meshed on. And there are no bump maps, which I do miss, although this makes re-colouring simpler. In general, my re-colours are subtler than the Maxis originals, more practical and wearable - in my opinion! As with most of the H&M meshes the footwear is very cute and there are lots of lovely accessories. I have tried to make the clothing more feminine and more suitable for Autumn weather e.g. raising the waistband of the low slung jeans to eliminate that chilly gap between trousers and sweater and adding tights where before there were bare legs. This set includes my first ever outerwear creation. I considered only one of the outfits suitable to be classified as outerwear - I live in Scotland so an outfit has to be pretty cosy before I'll consider it outerwear! - but you might consider re-classifying some of the other outfits in the set as outerwear if your Sims don't mind the cold as much as I do! 
Obviously, you will need to have the H&M Fashion Stuff Pack installed before these outfits will show up in your game. All outfits are available for adults and young adults.

Wow! I was looking at the main site to see what new was out today and what do I see at the bottom of the page among the other featured creations? My newest set "Leather Jacket"! I'm so proud! I also wanted to say I'm pretty satisfied with this set, it's my first time doing jeans, I've tried a couple times before but it's been pretty difficult. But this time I think I did pretty good :) I've also released a set called "Fancy Updo" (I'm so bad at making up creative names), I got the inspiration from viewing pictures of a hair show, and I thought I'd show you a picture of the original :)
I'm also having some of my hair meshes updated with animations, the Bangs up and Bangs up Bob mesh will be updated in next few days, so please re-download when that time comes :)
Nobody at home
I'm taking a Sims 'sabbatical'. This is likely to continue and I won't be around very much to give immediate assistance to anyone who requires it. I'm really sorry about that.I will be dropping by from time to time (and I might even get to submitting something once in a while if you're really unfortunate), but please remember that it might take me several days or more before I get back to you in response to any questions or pleas for help you have. I'm not really a rude, arrogant and ignorant bat who never replies - I'm just an absent one!
Have I gone for good? No, not at all (sorry to disappoint - you won't get rid of me THAT easily!) but I'm just very busy elsewhere in life and not Simming right now. And it's not even exciting! Dang! I wanted to make up some drama about my absence but there really isn't any.
Thank you for being able to grit your teeth and suffer visiting my mini-site. I know you only do it to be kind (or laugh rather a lot) but it still makes me grin!

Typical - I write a message saying things aren't working, and what happens, they fix it and make me look like an idiot! Well, at least it seems to be working again, so I've made the most of it and uploaded two new sets! The first is a set of paintings depicting beautiful winter scenes (inspired by the freezing cold weather we're having lately here - though no snow!). The second set is a collection of 36 shaggy carpets! I'm really pleased with the way these have turned out - I'd even go as far as to say that they're the best I've made so far! They really do look pretty amazing and realistic in-game - I use them all the time now! Anyway, all being well, I'll go for my hat-trick tomorrow, and upload something else - haven't decided what yet though, so you'll just have to wait and see!!! "The Show Must Go On"!! Mad Cow
Updates
Hey guys!Sorry for the lack of updates this past few weeks and for not being able to respond to your messages! First, I had a nasty virus that wiped my drive and now I'm very sick (the sugar levels in my blood are low and I have some hard time coping with the "lovely" crisis' that come with it - my heart beats very very fast, I think it's called tachycardia, I am very dizzy, not to mention hungry and thirsty).
I did manage to start a new series called "An Autumn Day". So far I have decided to make three parts, but I might expand, I don't know yet. The first part will be published on the 7th. The second, called The Crop and the third, The Picnic, will follow. I'm also working on some paintings and have my mind set on some clothing.
