New Graphics *updated*
Hello...Well its just a random little word from me..which I will probably delete. I just wanted to say I got a new graphics card...a Geforce9600. and another gig of ram....I swear I just had a sims playing session and I have never ever EVER had the game run so smoothly. Its insane. Even when it rains it doesnt slow it down...and when I am on lots I can see the neighbouring lots. I know alot of you probably going whatever...thats old news..well NOT FOR ME!!!! I finally can experience sims 2 the way it was meant to be. Im so excited. NOt to mention the graphics are like wow...Something about it adds depth to the screen and ilove it:!!!!I also forget to mention that I feel terrible. Now that my graphics is right up I think it automatically enables bumpmapping..I maybe wrong.. But thats what I thikn it is, more details and In some of my items the Bump part is horrid. like I didnt make it right for each individual item. So I am naughty and this will be fixed in my new items:)
My Halloween theme is free for one week

Renovation
I've been looking back at the 1st apartment lot I created, namely Chantilly Row and realised it's not quite perfect. As I was still fumbling my way around Apartment Life as I was building I guess I still had much to learn. Perhaps I should have looked for an apartment building tutorial...anyone know where I can find one?!Now being a little older and wiser, I have put right the wrongs of the past so look out for a new and improved version of Chantilly Row coming soon.
Episode 7!
It might be time to reduce my five-episode head start to four, considering how much work I've had lately. Summer is definitely over! So maybe the next episode will be out sooner? We'll see... Episode 7 is a Big One. This is where it all really starts to get going. Remember in the first series where they met the Sisters for the first time? We're there. After 6 long gruelling episodes, we're there!! So now you can really get to know the characters, and watch as they go through... [can I have a 'dun dun DUUH'?] ...Trials! So here's what to look out for in Episode 7: *It's called 'Bushwhacked'. *Several familiar faces will return. *Atra makes a big decision. *Poetry. Oh yeah. And here's my preview picture for the week. Looks like Murk didn't come off too well...

October 28th, Vintage Charm Floral
Vintage Charm Floral Part I is scheduled for publication on October 28th. Part I features new meshes, 3 bed meshes, a 3-tile wall unit, 2 globe table lamp and wall sconce. The Vintage Charm collection features sunny floral print and oak wood furniture.The new bed frame meshes are linked to in game Maxis and custom bedding. VC Floral wall unit is 3-tiles and has 7 coffee table slots for decorative objects. The 2 globe table lamp is a master file and linked to the 2-globe wall sconce, the wall sconce will use all of the table lamp's recolors.

For anyone who's ever wanted to replay any of the Maxis sims, without reloading the whole hood... or just wants to mix a few of them up in the same hood... TSR now bring you cleaned up packages of the Maxis families. No extra character files tagging along, just the files needed for that family.I haven't packaged up the bin families, as the regenerate for each new hood, unless you have a clean template installed.
The only other ones missing are the Apartment Life families, as you can't package them in the apartments!
They can be found here, and are free to download.

Boys from the Dwarf
I made some "Red Dwarf" outfits ages ago, but since I've got a lot better in recent times (I can but hope) I've re-done a couple of them (Kryten and Rimmer), as well as a Starbug lot for them to live in - designed to be affordable for 4 sims as long as you make them individually and combine their funds (or just use the Motherlode cheat, of course ;) ). I may also make new outfits for Lister and Cat, if I can find decent pictures to base them on.Busy, busy...

Poured Floor Driveway Set
I have created a new set of driveways to match my Poured Floor set. I really liked the textures in that set and wanted to use them again. I hope you like them too :)New Poll
As you have probably already seen, I've set up a new poll that will run during November. It's addressed specifically to non-subscribers and it's meant as a Christmas gift for you: I'd like you to choose the sets that will be free during December. The choice that gets most votes will be set free the next month. I've already made a selection of the most popular stuff I've released, but if you'd like to have something different free, you only need to write it here. 'Hotels' do you know?
If you have Bon Voyage do you know that you can place a Hotel on any neighbourhood, not just a holiday neighbourhood? You can even drive them there and book in and stay as long as you like, and book out when you want to take your sims home, but you will not get the extra wants panel that is the only difference I can see.Vegetarian non replacement set

Getting Groovy (again!)
Good morning everyone :o) I must be spoiling you this week becasue there is another decorating set due out on Sunday, yay!!!!!! I decided to do another fun, groovy retro inspired set. This set also seems to have a bit of a Tikki feel to it.

I've just logged at TSR and thought: "Something is going on, my gb is full of messages..." I read first entry and understand why - I am an SA! Gosh, I can't belive it! I am speechless, but I want to say a HUGE thank you to all my friends here at TSR, for your kind words and support, you guys rock:D!, Especially my dear Sarah (you always belive in me!), Marina (you are the one who told me to belive in myself) and BBKZ (zwlaszcza za te nasze 'rozmowy'). Thanks to all people who ever downloaded my stuff, even if it was only one file. Because I've got limited time at the moment to build houses, I decided to ask the few of you who visit here regularly what sort of thing you download the most.I usually try and build starter to family sized homes but I'm wondering if I should have a go at turning my hand to some larger mansion sized houses with four or more bedrooms and loads of entertaining space.

Huzzah! My screenshot was featured on the first page! I know some of you are like, "Yeah, so what?" Well, it's a big deal for me. I called my whole family to the computer to show them, seriously, I did. Anyways though, in other news: I just hit 300,000 downloads! Heck yes! I couldn't have done it without you!So, in real life, I've been pretty busy. This week all my teachers have released all their pent-up homework on us poor unsuspecting students. Right now, I'm avoiding my lovely pre-calulus homework! Then in band (yes I'm in band!), we're winding down our marching season. Our last competition is this weekend, so maybe after that I'll have more free time for Sims. I'll most likely start taking requests again for band shirts. Coming up right now are some Fall Out Boy shirts and more Jonas Brothers.
Wait, let me brag about band for a sec. We won our class at our biggest competition and received a banner! Okay, I just had to say that. Now I'm done.

More about me... future creations
I have recently upgraded my page to a minisite so my page looks more organized and clean. I personally prefer it better and have been saving kudos for quite some time for it =) I recently started my senior year in Uni and it's not easy to balance school, freelanced art and other graphics projects but I'm trying my best to find the time for new creations. I have a major problem with my keyboard not taking screenshots, the printscreen button just won't work so I have to borrow my mom's once a week in weekends for screenshots on all the items created throughout the week. Now I'm very curious what people would like to see me create more. Hmm... I should make a poll. And for curious eyes... The image used in my banner in full size:

I've been watching the poll results so far and am surprised that rooms are at the top of the list. I'm working on a new bathroom recolor for you, but it is slow going. Will have it done in a bit. In the meantime, I decided to do something a bit different and have recolored some cars. I haven't done that before, so I thought I'd see if anyone likes them. In the meantime, I'm still trying to learn enough to get you some decent meshes and still trying to put together other rooms. And I have 3 or 4 more 20-color sets already completed. So for a couple of weeks anyway, your needs should be met. I'll keep on trying. Things in RL just keep cropping up. I'm having fun in spite of the set-backs though. Keep on playing!Getting Gothic

Greetings all Today I have uploaded a new Halloween themed decorating set, comprising of four walls and four matching floors.

The other news I have is that I'm currently unable to recolour any objects at the moment due to a SimPE RAM related problem. I have been intouch with Inge and she's trying to find a way around this for me, but until then I will only be able to produce new decorating sets :o(

First of all I must say that I'm very sorry that I haven't been able to answer back to all of your guestbook entries and PM's. But I wan't to thank you all for all the lovely comments I've received, I really appreciate it although I can't always write back :)But I decided to make a Frequently Asked Questions post here so that you can try to find answers to your questions here.
Do you take requests?
- I'm sorry but I can't take requests, I just don't have the time since I'd like to keep making sims that I feel like making.
What is your creator policy like?
- My policy has been so that it is ok to do what ever you want with my content for personal use and it's fine to include content made by me with your sims if credit is given. But for example you can not use my "Angelina Jolie-skintone" for your own version of Angelina. But I have preferred if people didn't redistribute edited versions of my skintones or didn't use my work as a base anyway. You can also use my work in your screenshots, stories, etc.
What programmes do you use to make sims?
- I use the Body Shop and Photoshop to edit custom content.
Can you make a tutorial on how to make realistic sims?
- I personally believe that best work is made when you come up with your own style of making things. I don't have a certain list of things I do when making sims, every sim is built in a different way. Just have fun, experiment and do your own thing :)

I'm so excited to be an SA on TSR. I have loved this site since I first started Simming and now I am one of the crew! Unfortunately I had surgery on my shoulder last week and it will be a bit of time before I can get back to my usual routine so no lots for a week or so but then it will be gung-ho as I have several weeks off work to do nothing but relax and play!Good Bye

Time to take this poll down, has been up for a few months, EA better start worrying a little, over 65% said NO to the Sims 3 or they haven't decided...only 36% said they would be there first day, not exactly a ringing endorsement.You can officially play taps over the Sims 1, over 81% said the discs are collecting dust on their shelves.
It was a pretty even split over how big your downloads folder is, with 34% approx going to each, 1-3GB, 3-7GB and Over 7.
How long does it take your game to load? If you are like me, I pluck my eyebrows and file my nails while it loads, 68% said 1-15 minutes,
18% said 15-30 minutes, and some poor dears, 13%-wait over 30 minutes. Gracious, you could bake some cookies in that time!
