Skintone used in my pictures
For all the curious out there, the skintone is made by me using other artists work, so I can`t upload it or give you a link-there is none.Episode 6! And work!
Sorry about the delay with episode 5. I've had to do quite a bit of planning for my job (I'm a tutor) and it's all piling up on me. Plus, episode 10 was a nightmare to write! I'm gonna try and stick to a target of at least 2 episodes a month. If I can do more, brilliant! But I there WILL be at least 2! And I've decided I'm not buying Sims 3 until the series is finished - that's a distraction I don't need... even thought it would be so good... soooo good... NO, MUST WORK!! So, hope you enjoyed episode 5 and Vadamar <3. He has issues. But then don't they all? Here's a sneaky peeky at what's coming in episode 6! *It's called 'No Noose is Good Noose'. ;P *The last new main character, for a total of 7. *Atra pushes Murk's buttons. *Vadamar meets his match. *Why's Yarilo so sad? *Dania gets to use 'Kerry'. And here's a preview piccy. Reminds me of one of those old silent films, where the heroinne would get tied to a train track by a moustache-twirling cad. Mwah hah hah!
Oops!
Oops! I was just notified that my Vintage Charm Etcetera - Chandelier Gray Recol is the wrong file! The package is now updated and contains the correct file. You can get it here,Chandelier Gray Recol
Happy - I'm so happy!
I know it may sound foolish but I've finally got a new computer with a more powerful video card! Let's pretend Santa gave it to me in advance! I hope to be able to make better previews! It will be in my house next week! *singing in total happiness*Urban Paint Sets
Are finally finished. I will upload them today... here is a sneak preview of some of them. All paints co-ordinate with the Urban Stucco sets and a reasonably priced at $0 for sims with limited finances.
Your turn....
Ok, the holidays are coming up....Halloween/Samhain is first on the list. I was thinking, I do recolors, but what if someone would like something special for the holidays? So, I thought I'd give you all a chance to "control" some of my holiday stuff. Send me a pm, with an idea or suggestion for a room or item to recolor for Halloween/Samhain. Let me know what mesh(es) you want, where it is (TSR or another website) and if you have some specific textures you want me to use. Or you can leave it up to me. Just let me know. Now, I may not be able to do all of them, but I'll try to do as many as I can, ok?:)
***Remember, I don't mesh, just recolor, and only FREE meshes.
There's no place like London...
Hello! If you ever wondered, why there haven't been anything new from me for a longer time, the answer is simple: I'm abroad to study! I finally got accepted to university to study my dreamt-of major, Japanese, and the uni is one of the best worldwide while it comes to teaching oriental languages and cultures!
I feel so lucky! Every year there are many candidates from many different countries, but only one person per 14 gets the admission letter! And one of these lucky people is me!!!
After so many years, years, when I tried to be accepted to any Japanese course-providing Polish university, I was told I wasn't good enough, not motivated enough, not smart enogh. Everyone during the recrutation procedure kept telling me that, and when you hear such things too much, you start to believe in it...
Now, in London, UK, I feel like I'm in the best place in the best time of my life. Now I feel so lucky that I hadn't been given a chance to study Japanese in Poland, because I would have never come to study to such place like London, never had the opportunity to study in one of the best oriental schools in the world, School of Oriental and African Studies, never had the possibility to meet so many different people from almost every part of the world, and never could come to Japan for the entire year as a part of my course... Now I thank God that I was rejected so many times, because I learned how to deal with defeat and can have a real joy from studying...
The only thing I'm worried about at the moment is whether I'll manage financially... Living in London is quite expensive, even without eating- and going out very often... But I believe that if you really want to do something, you will always find some money or a possible source of it. The point is to do what you really want... And I do want to finish these studies, and moreover, I really want to go to master studies as well... Have no idea how I'll manage, but somehow I will!!!
SO forgive the lack of creations right the moment, but I really have so much to learn... And the programme goes like crazy, it's been just 2 weeks but my head feels like burning already...
So happy simming, everyone, and see you probably when Sims 3 are out! I can deffiniately promise that I'll be (or at least I'll b e trying... ^_^) creating for Sims 3 as well. I even know what will be of my main interest: SHOES!!! Isn't it fabulous that in Sims 3 there will be a separate shoes compartment with so many wonderful meshes that simply wait for my recolouring and retexturing!
See you, and have a wonderful day!!!
Take care,
Hannah

Btw I just don't have so many words in my vocabulary...
But, well, I'm always happy to recieve a feedback from everyone of you, really!!! And I want to bring my excuses for all who was left with no answer on his comment on my item! I'm a person too and I just can't sit and all the time answer, answer and answer, so I'm telling you here that I'm always reading comments and be sure I appreciate it with no writing back to you.

Latest updates
I haven't been building as many lots lately as I usually do because we had problems with a massive power outage that wrecked my computer. It's fixed now but I am going to be having surgery on my shoulder on October 15 so I imagine that will keep me out of the game for a bit as well. Hopefully I will be back up to speed soon and again cranking out lots for everyone to move their Sim families into.True Blood faces and outfit
I have become addicted to the new HBO show True Blood, based on the Southern Vampire novels by Charlaine Harris. As with my other tv addictions, I felt the need to have some of the cast in my Sims game. I have just uploaded faces for Bill and Sookie, plus a skin of Sookie's waitress uniform from Merlotte's Bar & Grill. If there are other True Blood characters you would like to see made into Sims, please feel free to comment here or send me a PM.Bill Compton

Merlotte's Uniform
Hmm...
Change of plans maybe? I'm thinking, with the new shelving, I might try making full Room Sets as I have never done that before? I've already made a matching desk for the first shelving units and am tinkering with some CD clutter to put on them.
So for a study I will need to make a chair, bookcase, wall art, and lighting for sure. Then if this goes well maybe I'll do the same for the other two shelving units I had planned, only for dining and living rooms.
A new build contest!
I absloultley love the building contests and challenges on the TSR build forum and enter every one of them. Well I decided to create my own and its called Traveling Sally. Basically, you have to pick a country from a map I provided and build the house accordingly. We all would love some new faces to come and join. There is no time limit for this challenge and you could upload your lot afterwards if you wanted. You can check it out here:http://forums.thesimsresource.com/showthread.php?p=3757085&posted=1#post3757085.
My TC 108 has been released and I am currently working on TC109. The textures are very winter like so I am going for a cosy corner, so stay tuned for that one...
Doctor Who #3
Yet another Doctor Who skin on the way, straight after the Brigadier. This time it's a costume from the Jon Pertwee era of the original series, screen-capped from "Carnival of Monsters" (1973). I have made a few other accessories for my 3rd Doctor Sim, including grey adult hair, grey adult sideburns, and adult wrinkles (as make-up), but I wasn't particularly happy with them, so I haven't submitted them. If you would like me to do so, I would be happy to, or to "grey" any other hairstyle that you prefer. My notebook has now problem.
I've bulit some new lots for my Lot Series 3. But my old notebook doesn't works and it can not be repaired. I will buy a new one. Now, I make a pause with TSR. Greet!Naughty 'Puter!
My computer has been acting up lately and I had to put it into a time out. Not to worry, I have a bunch of nice build objects with matching siding and floors that go with the Victorian Mansion I've built for our Sims. If you download the lot you will get them all.Preview to a new lot

UNIT Gear
More "Doctor Who" themed clothes and hair on the way: the original uniform for Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart (seen mainly in season 7 of the original series) and a matching cap / beret. If anyone likes the uniform and would appreciate versions for other ranks, please let me know. It just means switching insignia, which I can do in five minutes.Again, I have used a "bump map" to try and add depth and detail to this skin, but I'm not sure if it doesn't just obscure detail and give it a very peculiar texture. I'd be grateful for feedback, as I'm wondering whether or not to keep using these (My previous clothes may have been flat and texture-less, but I thought the detail was at least clearer on them).
Whats your favorite Holiday? Tell me.....c'mon!!!
Hi people, hope your all well. I was just wondering, WHATS YOUR FAVORITE HOLIDAY? I would love to know, if your all as obsessed with Halloween as I am!! My favorite holiday is, yes.....All Hallows' Eve. Christmas of course is second. So let me know, would love to hear from ya!!! Shell
Simlington Avenue Collection
Hi! I can't stay out of TSR and I can't leave my sims alone for a long time. I am a horrible addict... Anyway, I have some new houses under construction. This is the first one of the Simlington Avenue Collection, called "Mon Plaisir": A lovely house for a family of two children. Price just under 100000.

New project - Perelingerie
I'm working on a new project - Perelingerie - my begining with clothing. I hope you will like it (see screenshots).

university...
Today i got my place on a university. But this uni is far away from my current home (Berlin) and I've only two weeks left before it'll start. That means i won't be around that much for the next two- three weeks, I'm sorry. But I'm sure I'll have enough time to create new stuff on my long trips in the trains... <3 kisses, tschibBack Again! LOL
Greetings everyone!I'm sort of back after a long break during the summer. Between school holidays, family holidays and illness it's been a long time coming ;)
I have now got almost all of the TS2 EP's (just realised I forgot to get Free Time, doh!!) I haven't had time yet to install Appartment Life, so I guess thats my day for tomorrow. LOL
When will I be creating again? I really don't know. Hubby has finally gotten himself a Laptop so I get my PC back all to myself again, wooohooo!!!!
And two weeks ago I found out I am going to be a Mommy in May 09! LOL Things are so up in the air at the moment, but I really want to get creating for TS2 again (especially now I have new EP items to play with too, hehehehe)
As always, stay tuned to my Blog for further updates :)
Job Training
Guess I didn't tell anyone that I got a new position at work that requires much more responsibility, headaches, and hours. Oh, but not more pay. *sigh* Anyway, it's why I haven't had a chance to make more walls or floors lately. I'm still in training, and hope to get to making more walls and floors soon.Duplex Apartment on the way
I just finished testing a large duplex apartment destined for the suburbs. It can house two families, each with 6-8 Sims. It should be available in a couple of days.Though I do love apartments, building them is a monumental task!--especially since I like to fully furnish and decorate them as though the neighbors were already living there. :-) Because autumn is always a super busy time for me, I plan to turn my attention back to some traditional houses--that is to say, less time-consuming projects. But I do want to build more terrace houses. Just need to find the time.
Happy Simming, everyone!

Coming Soon!
Well I have finished my set for TC108! I recoloured a set of Detimgi's and its called the Fia Dining set. I love this set, everything from the curved cabinets to the glass vases. You will need Glamour life for the painting recolour but everything else is base game compatible. I have just uploaded it so it should definatley be available for download by early next week...
New Story for October
I've got a spooky story, called Delusional over at The Sim Shack if any of you are interested in checking it out! Here's a link to the story!Be sure to register and play some games, participate in polls and challenges, too!
I'd love to see you all there. :D
Out of Soup!
Today I posted the final entry in my Soup Legacy. After three-plus years of playing them and writing about them, it's time to (finally) move on. Though I'll be easing myself into it - I'll be writing a few short stories to tie up some loose ends of the non-heir sim storylines. And I'll be starting work on building my new play 'hood. I'm getting ambitious with it - I want to build a complete (though small!) city and associated ruralized areas for my sims to live in, and then use it as a setting for a Legacy as well as several challenges and site stories. We'll see how far I get before I decide I've bit off more then I can chew!
This also means I'll finally get back into heavy-duty creating after my more-or-less hiatus of the last few months, since for some of the things I have planned to build, I'll need to build some build-mode and furnishing sets first.
After months of trying today I have finally managed to get here.I downloaded mozilla firefox and am using it right now. I hope it lasts and I can use TSR normally like I used to. If it works I will start uploading my new creations if not I'm afraid it's the end of me on TSR
The Poll)
Hey hey!Well, current poll is closed - I've decided (right now xD) that it's the time to do it. So this is what we have:
Did you ever downloaded my houses?
Yes! 53.93% (103)
No... 43.46% (83)
Do you usually read required EPs?..
Yes! 75.92% (145)
No... 22.51% (43)
...and Installation Instructions?
Yes! 51.31% (98)
No... 47.12% (90)
Did you ever had problems with my houses when you followed ALL the INSTRUCTIONS and have ALL required EPs?
Yes...(please PM me - I'd like to help you!!!) 5.24% (10)
No! 70.16% (134)
I didn't ever read what you wrote... 14.14% (27)
To be sincere, I'm pleased with the result that almost nobody, except 10 persons, had problems with my houses. That's sooo sooo great. Love you all. Thanks so much for taking time to take part in the poll! I'd love to make more houses for you as soon as possible.
I'm starting new poll... It's all about houses again! I'm looking for fresh ideas while waiting for new PC...
Wish you all spending good time with your family, friends, etc)
Hugs,
~Marina
The Obsession Continues
I seem to have a thing for shelving at the moment. My current project is another set of shelves for AP that is meant to be combined with the addition of a column/pole.
I want to make three styles, so because I put extra effort into my wood textures this will probably be out some time next week.
Urban Colours
I am working on some wall and floor sets in a bunch of urban theme colours. They will include stucco, paints, siding, bricks and some floor sets. I will have the remaining Urban Stucco sets uploaded tomorrow. There are 9 sets of 5 co-ordinating colours all up and priced reasonably at $0 for those sims on a tight budget.Men are from Mars... Women are from Venus... Computers are from the deepest bowels of Hell!
Early Sunday evening... After spending all day yesterday burning files to safety on a bunch of DVD-R discs and transferring others to my tiny little 40 gig hard drive, I was ready to defrag and CHKDSK my precious external drive. It has just finished. All night long and half the morning to defrag, and from about 11:00 AM until about 5:30 (yes!) to complete CHKDSK. Whole lot of bad sectors. Something was really futzed up and I think it all started with a nasty power outage that must have zapped the drive in mid-read or something. And yes, kids, I do have my electronics plugged into a surge protector (not just a suppressor, mind, a protector). But although the hardware came through okay, apparently some of the files got corrupted. Just enough to really mess up my life over the past week.Plus, my expensive office chair from Staples has flipped its hydraulic lid. It won't stay elevated! I sit down and gradually sink to the lowest setting, as if I were in a bog of quicksand.
Now that things have been cleaned up I can reinstall my Sims and get back to business. But not tonight. I have had all I can take of computers this weekend, and this stupid chair that won't stay at the proper height!
Time to fetch a mug of coffee with a shot of Irish and start rereading Harry Potter.
Preparing for my COMEBACK!
It's been a LONG TIME!This week signals my final week of the first semester! And after that, I will be coming back to TSR once more! What's in store for all of you? I will be building MORE BLOCK LOTS as planned before! And not to mention that I am LOOKING FORWARD to getting my meshing skills LEVELS HIGHER! I have so much meshes in mind to do for all of you! So, you all better be ready!
Happy and Inspired,
Alyosha
Minisite!
I now officially have a minisite as of today! Thank you so much to everyone out there who took the time to download and comment my creations, there's still more to come :)-Limefwooper
Kid Bed
I am working on a kid bed kloned from an adult bed but only usable by kids to go with my retro toddler set.
I have also featured my halloween items.
Sorry...
I must apologize for my absence in creating and around the community. These past few weeks have been very busy with illnesses, schoolwork and operations, it's all go! I'll be getting some mini-projects out soon as I lost half of the Secret Garden files due to hard-drive failure.Sorry for the inconvenience I hope y'all understand!
