Summer was a busy one!

Hi all who read my blog and visit my site regularly! The summer has been a busy one for me and I haven't gotten to create like I want to, but fall and dreaded winter are around the corner so I'm sure that I will have some new lots on a more regular basis. I do, however have a lot finished and uploaded and getting ready to be published the 1st of Septemeber called Cape Cod Lane, which you can already see a preview of on the upcoming lots download page. I also have one that I finished last night called Lazy River Rd which is another rustic type house: Again, I'm hoping to start creating more as the fall and winter approach with some other new and exciting lots and even some wallpapers and floors. Hope everyone's summer was a great as mine was! Happy Simming!

Update, Vintage Charm Endtable

The Vintage Charm End Table is updated and can now be recolored. The VC end table (cash_vincharm_endtable_mesh.package) is a required update if you want to use future recolors of the mesh. The updated end table's catalog description includes information of the update.

A custom campus

My fellow Mod Deagh, writer of the absolutely incredible De la Sangre legacy, was bemoaning her lack of building skills and her need for a small urban style university for her Legacy challenge. So, I went off and made a set for her which has now been uploaded so everyone else can use it if they wish. There is a gym, library, small park, parade of shops, a four room dorm and even a cemetery for when those Sims get really annoying.

School just started up again this Monday and I also am in the process of moving into my new apartment (there are no words in the English language to describe how truly horrendous moving by yourself is).

Be gone, my pretties!

This is a pointless post with one purpose in mind: those arches at the bottom of this blog page...

I figured that, if I made this pointless post, they will be shunted onto the previous page and out of direct view (if not, more pointless posts will follow). I find nice, pretty things quite offensive in this little dark corner of TSR; it is embarrassing enough that I made them, but I don't need to be continually reminded that I did so!

I have also progressed with my clean-up act on my featured items page. It looks much better now. All that sappy pretty stuff has been shovelled to the very bottom, whilst the upper slots are adorned by beautiful rust and decay. I'm particularly proud of the toilet cubicle doors that now occupy the space where the window-box of purple pansies sat (shudder). Muchly improved!

Anyway, as said, this is a pointless post. You don't have to stay with me whilst I fuss about pretty things glued to the bottom of the page if you don't want to; there are far more interesting things to do on the internet. I can be neurotic all alone - that's fine. I can do it. Really.

EDIT: the stupid arches are still on the page!!! I think I'll dig out some mammoth-sized screenshots to post.

On holiday

I will be on holiday for two weeks. I'm going to Greece and so I won't be able to answer any questions. I hope you have some nice days, too. :)

I've been pretty lax about answering to all of the very sweet and kind comments left on my creations. Real life can get in the way sometimes. So, this is a BIG GROUP HUG to all of you that left comments recently. Thanks for downloading my Studio K creations and for loving them so much.

The Fifth Doctor

I never thought I'd do another Doctor Who skin, but by request I have just submitted the costume for the fifth Doctor, as played by Peter Davison. The coat is too short, alas, but I couldn't use the pirate coat (the boots were completely wrong) and I don't like downloading custom material. On the bright side, this does mean anyone can use it, even if they have no expansion packs or are as frightened as I am of custom content. ;)

Three Years of Soup

Today is the third year since I started my Soup Legacy, a 26-generation long alphabetized story about a family of sims. I'd hoped to wrap it up by today with the birth of the Z-gen heir, but real life and some distractions from TS2 things has said otherwise!

Still, it's a pretty special day for me - when I first started the Soups, I didn't think I'd stick with writing the story more then a few weeks at most, and here it is three years later and I'm still at it. I like to think my writing has improved at least a little in all the time spent writing some 2 million or so words worth of text about the Soups :)

Would You Like A Recolor

If anyone would like an object recolored to their specifications or a set let me know I will do my best. That is if it is allowed to be recolored. If there is a certain theme (example like peacocks,fish,birds ect..)in a room you are looking for let me know I will try to make it. I have thousands of pictures and textures..if I don't have it I will try to find it. I love do recolors!

Dandelion Square & Lilac Lodge

I've submitted today the Lilac Lodge, a fully furnished and equipped dream starter with a bargain price of � 19960,00 ... It's mainly decorated/built with basic game contents but there is an Maxoid Monkey item in the garden (beware of that!!) and also Tabbylou's great recolors in the bedroom and the livingroom. I also submitted a community lot Dandelion Square which offer lots of activities for your sims. There's a daily foodstore to fill the fridge. Reading, chess & computers in the library. Restrooms upstars. A beautiful Rose Chapel for small weddings. Lovely restaurant with 2 terraces, restrooms and a special room for the bride. Clothing boutique to buy new clothes. Surroundings are very pleasant. There's a pond so that your sims can fish if they feel like. I hope the lot will be approved so that you can enjoy it! Basic game content + Maxoid Monkey's garden decorations. Happy simming, Tiina PS. I bought the IKEA stuff pack!!!!

Beatrix Potter

I am working a range of Beatrix Potter bedding, using her drawings. Here is the first one, Benjamin Rabbit. I will also be doing a complementry wallpaper and carpet to go with each bedding that I make. Comments most welcome.

I'm back

Well, after 4 days without power, I am back again! It was a pretty intense storm, but unlike several people around town, I didn't have any trees fall on my house.

Now I get to track another one headed the general Florida direction.

Hello everyone!

Hello!
I finally got my own minisite.I simply couldn't make up my mind, 20000 kudos are a lot but. they are worth the effort :)

I'm back!

As some of you may have noticed, I took a bit of time away from submitting creations. I needed to go down to London for a research trip, spending my time in the British Library and National Archives (jealous, I know, haha) and it left me little to no downtime to design :( I am, however, back with a vengeance! Well, not quite, but I do have some new wallpapers that will be posted tomorrow. It's a start. I have a number of cool, funky wallpapers useful for different rooms of the house. I am aware that my floors, particularly my carpets, are quite popular, so there will be a number of those thrown into the mix as well. The carpets take a bit longer to design, so be a little more patient for those. While we're discussing future plans, I must warn there will be another approximately month-long hiatus in late Sept.-early Oct. I'll be returning home (Chicago) for a short time then coming back here to prepare for my second review (eek!).

Pending submissions ended!

Hurray! TSR staff gave my creations the second chance and now they are approved and to be released on Aug 26. Yay! Now my will to create is back, because it was missing because of disappointment when I opened a page and each time I saw that no creations are being approved! Now I can create more and more!

The map of my Lots Series

Hello! Sims fan! Here is the spezial map of my Lots Series. According to the map would my lots be fine arranged. You see, I've choosed the first neighborhood of the games (So, each one have this nice neighborhood, too ;)). Then I've deleted the former lots in this hood. Because I want to build a whole new city, what you've seen, I've published some of them already. I've only EP Pets now. Have You Seen An Elephant Fly?!!

A very quick update as it's gone 4am - yet again! Thought I'd give you a quick preview of one of my latest projects - maybe the title gave it away a little!! I decided that not only would I create a set of paintings, but also a set of matching rugs - ideal for all those kiddy rooms don't you think?! :D Night-night!

Therapy

I hate doors. Stupid, lame, annoying, all-awkward-to-align meshes with horrible diagonal versions and double doors that really don't want to be joined in the middle.

I just hate doors, okay?

There, I've talked about it - just as the Anger Management Course advised I should.

Adoorable!

Oh, ho-ho-HO - the titles get even better in the lame-stakes! Today I'm going to grace you with beautiful doors...

You see: I thought I'd capture the essence of a pretty countryside scene for a change, with wild English rose gardens, babbling brooks and little thatched cottages for my next series of build items...


HA!


Come on! Did you REALLY think I'd start getting all pretty?! No way! Far too many nice lots being uploaded of late and so I'm going to encourage an end to this farcical situation with some PROPER build items!



There are five meshes in the set (plain door, a fire escape, two windowed doors and a double door) and they all share a single set of six beautifully delicate textures as shown above. Soft rust, mellow corrosion, that sort of thing... See? I know what you REALLY like!

How can you tell??

I just uploaded some office furniture. I knew for sure that the chair was from Free Time, but the desk? It did look like the desk from Free Time, but it was also identical to IKEA design (I know this for sure, as my son has that exact desk!). Where to check for this? No pictures whatsoever in the Free Time leaflet. The EA Sims 2 site does have pictures from the IKEA stuff, and the desk was not among them. But then it says "here are SOME items from the game..." I tried to check out the page here on TSR, but it did not download completely, and besides, it only has objects from the expansion packs, not from the stuff packs. ARGGG!! I looked at desks in the downloads section and thought I found the desk I used, and it said "Free Time". OK, I settled for this. Free Time it is. Or so I thought...
After uploading, I played the game for a while. And realized that the desk MUST be from IKEA, after all...!! So I checked the IKEA leaflet, and there it was... Why, oh why didn't I start by looking there?!
A quick revision of my previews and the file names. But the idea behind the set backfired, as the chair and the desk were supposed to be from the same expansion. Now they are not. And hey! why can you not choose the IKEA stuff when reporting for expansions pack required?!

Wow!

It's so very exciting to become a Select Artist here at TSR! The messages of congratulations have been wonderful! So thank you so much! It's great to be part of a friendly bunch of creators & downloaders who allow a huge amount of room for creative expression & colourful simmies downloads!

Finally submitted 4 Native American outfits

It took me much longer than I anticipated. There are 2 elders and 2 teens. I am still working on the other six. They are the 2 adults, 2 children, and 2 toddlers outfits. I will submit them as soon as possible. :) Here is a picture of the Elder Chief ensemble.

Policy & there's only one BBKZ/ Regulamin & info o klonach

What is the worst feeling for me as a creator? When I see somebody claims my items as his own and uploads them at other sites. That kind of people think that they can do everything they want. But that's not truth!

I had situations that I found my items published as somebody's work. It happened few times at MTS2 and once at TSR! Few people presented my sim fashion as their own at Polish site too. They have been banned. Stolen creations have been deleted.

There have been two worse situations during last month. Somebody created accounts on Polish sites as "BBKZ". She/he stole my work and my personality. She/he tried to interfere in my private life and use my name to his/her illegal purposes! That's unforgiveable!

It's impossible to find all stolen creations. But there's one thing you should know: I publish my items only at TSR. There's no legal way to see my creations at other sites. If you notice some of my files, please let me know - write me PM, give links etc. I'd very glad for any help.

You HAVE my permission to:
- use my creations in your game, screenshots, stories, videos;
- if you want to upload a sim, you can show my creations on your models (with giving credit) but only on preview pictures (you can't include my creations with your uploaded sims).

You DON'T HAVE my permission to:
- show and claim my work as yours;
- upload my creations at any free or pay site;
- copy any part of my textures and paste on other meshes;
- recolor my textures;
- add my creations to your uploaded sims or other uploaded files.

I don't make any exceptions.

Be sure - there's easy way to check, if somebody's work is stolen work.

I hope everything is clear for everybody. These words are only for having no doubts what you may or may not do. If you are fair with me, you don't have to be afraid ;-)

Jakie jest najgorsze uczucie dla mnie jako kreatorki? Zobaczyc przypisanie sobie mojej pracy i opublikowanie jej na innych stronach. Tacy ludzie zawsze mysla, ze wolno im wszystko. Ale tak nie jest!

Znalazlam sie w kilku sytuacjach, gdy zobaczylam, jak ktos opublikowal moje prace jako swoje wlasne. Kilkakrotnie zdarzylo sie to na MTS2, raz tutaj na TSR. Kilka osob zaprezentowalo moje ciuszki jako swoje na polskiej stronie. Osoby te zostaly zbanowane. Skradzione prace skasowano.

Ponadto w ciągu ostatniego miesiąca dwa razy ktoś założył na polskich forach konto "BBKZ" i nie tylko ukradła moje prace, ale też podszywała się pode mnie, opowiadała bzdury innym user'om oraz pr�bowała wnikać w moje prywatne życie. Zgodnie z polskim prawem od razu ta osoba powinna być usunięta!

Niemozliwym jest znalezienie wszystkich skradzionych prac. Jedno musicie wiedziec: publikuje swoje pliki tylko i wylacznie na TSR! Nie ma legalnej szansy na sciagniecie moich prac z innych stron. Jesli jednak dojdzie do takiej sytuacji i ktos z Was sciagnal ktoras z moich prac z innej strony - prosze, dajcie mi znac poprzez PW. Podajcie takze linki, itp. Bede niezmiernie wdzieczna za pomoc.

UDZIELAM pozwolenia na:
- uzywanie moich plikow w grze, na fotkach z gry, simowych historyjkach, czy filmach;
- jesli chcecie opublikowac swojego sima, mozecie pokazac go/ja w moim ubranku (podajcie mnie jako autora ciuszkow), ale tylko i wylacznie na prezentacyjnej fotce. Nie zgadzam sie na zalaczanie zadnego mojego ciuszka do publikowanych simow!

NIE UDZIELAM pozwolenia na:
- pokazywanie i przypisywanie sobie moich prac jako Wasze wlasne;
- publikowanie moich plikow na innych darmowych czy platnych stronach;
- kopiowanie jakichkolwiek czesci moich tekstur (ubranka) i wklejanie na inne meshe;
- rekolorowanie moich tekstur (zmiany tonacji kolorow);
- dolaczania moich kreacji do Waszych publikowanych simow lub innych publikowanych plikow.

Nie robie zadnych wyjatkow.

Badzcie pewni - istnieje bardzo prosty sposob na sprawdzenie, czy czyjas praca nie jest praca kradziona.

UWAGA: W zwiazku z pojawieniem sie osoby podszywajacej się pode mnie na stronie "esims.pl" oraz "thesims.com.pl" zareczam, ze pojawiam się wylacznie na TSR i pojawialam na stronie Centrum Simow (www.simy.pl). NIE MA MOZLIWOSCI obejrzenia mnie i moich prac na innych forach. Nie ma i nie bedzie. Jesli ktos o moim nicku pokazuje moje prace w innych miejscach - to "podszywacz". W takich przypadkach proszę o powiadomienie tamtejszych administrator�w i nakazanie ukarania zlodzieja "prac i osobowości" (czyli zbanowania i usunięcia z listy użytkownik�w).

Mam nadzieje, ze wszystko jest jasne dla wszystkich. Wszystkie te slowa sa jedynie dla pewnosci, co mozecie, a czego nie mozecie robic w moimi plikami. Jesli jestescie uczciwi wobec mnie, nie macie sie czego bac ;-)

W przypadku jakichkolwiek pytan, piszcie je smialo tutaj w "Komentarzach" - odpowiedzi udziele tutaj, a takze w Waszych ksiegach gosci.

My next wall attempt. 1/2 way decent?

These are a ROUGH draft of a wall idea I have. When I get homecrafter to load I'll fix up the coloring of the walls. I just want to show off the color scheme and pattern for the mo. ;) (I saw the the pink on the dark blue walls.......it's one of the color fixes I will be doing) What do you think, 1/2 way decent? If I get homecrafter to load I'll make them as a paint and have them for $0 for those cash-strapped Sims. ;)

YAY! I finally figured out how to set a free schedule. I will be posting the dates of certain lots I shall set free for one week at a time. :D It's just my way of saying "Thank you!" to all of you who were downloading my things WAY before I was an FA. Thanks guys/gals!

One Dilly of a Month!

This month has seen a lot of amazing things happen in my life, I have learned how to make hotels...and I LOVE them...I have been granted a promotion I was certainly not expecting...~newTLCo~ sent me the most AMAZING PM...my youngest son read ME a nighttime story instead...but none compares to what I face tomorrow. My eldest is leaving for college...I am SO proud of him! So if I have been a little late with thanks on comments or guestbook, PLEASE forgive me! I will be caught up soon...I just really need to spend a little time with my eldest before he leaves home to finish becoming the successful and fine young man I know he really is.

Just wanted to give you all a heads up. Will be back in fine...if misty-eyed form...after the weekend. :D Thanks all!
