Leyris kitchen
Since some of you asked me to go on with the Leyris, and since I still enjoy the theme as well, I made a Leyris kitchen. Well, at least, I made the counters (with some precious help from Simaddict to get those sinks to work on them), cabinets, table, chair and clutter. I'm not ready to make stoves and fridges and stuff, will need to study a bit first to be able to make those I'm afraid. Anyway, little preview :)
The cost of building a lot.
When I finish of my lots, I'm never really happy with the total cost. I always try and make more interesting lots, that a family starting out with 20K simoleons can purchase without cheats. (I personally cheat all of the time but I recognize that most don't.)So in order to get around the costs I do a little trick that'll bring the cost down by around 5k.
Place a sim on the lot you just created, turn off all decay and aspirations using the codes, and let him live for a year(4 seasons), and kill him off when the value of the lot stops falling.
What's sad is if you move a sim out, that means that the kitchen and bathroom fixtures will be sold off, and the price of the lot will go up. Killing the sim brings the value down about 100 simoleons, and you can delete them in build mode.
But sometimes the deleted dead sims show up on my lots, and that's why you might see an urn.
Away for 1 week
Hey,I'm going on holiday this week. Although I won't be available, I'm going to release two new sets- new eyecolors and some clothing. I really hope that you'll enjoy them because I worked *very* hard on these, especially on the new mesh. I can't even count how many times I've fired up the game to check out that every little piece of the mesh moves correctly. I must confess that BONE ASSIGNMENTS ARE A NIGHTMARE!

New Mini-Site!
Woohoo! I finally have my own mini-site! It'll be under construction for a little bit, and I'll definitely blog again when it's finished!My first animated object!
I went back to learning how to mesh again and this time, with the help of Spaik's tutorial and tips from sim_man123, I was able to make my first animated object!I still can't believe this actually worked and am really excited about it, so I had to share with you guys.
Well, I'm off to do more damage! Any suggestions are appreciated :)

Yes...I admit it...I'm a WoW addict! (lol) Thanks to some of my friends here at TSR, I'm hooked on WoW, can't get enough of it. Don't worry, I'll always love my Sims, but playng WoW online is a whole new experience for me with my gaming and I'm really enjoying it.Do you like to play WoW or are you a WoW fan? Have been passed 6 years since my mum has removed a cancer, and her probability of survive in that time was very low... but she won the cancer and she is here with all of us..Today at the dinner it will be a party with all the family to celebrate their courage and strong to win this disease and be alive!!

Update to Santiago Dining Chair
Update!The Santiago Dining Chair mesh has been updated to make it base game compatiable. It will re-published on the 3rd August, please re-download the mesh, it will overwrite the excisting file.
The Esprit Venetian Blind Medium Mesh has also been updated. Thanks to a fellow TSR Member for pointing out this out. The zip contained the short mesh instead of the medium mesh. It will also be re-published on the 3rd August.

New, New, New!
Hey! It's update time again! So, what have I been up to? Well, quite a lot actually!
I've been doing some more experimenting with different items (some turned out good, others have been binned!), so you're going to be seeing quite a few new additions arriving over the next few weeks! 
(not the 'binned' ones by the way!)
To start with I've created another lot of 'Single Colour Variation Floor Sets' - this time tiles with a rather nice marble effect! - 7 sets in total (like my carpets), which I intend to upload over the weekend!
Then I have to honour a promise of more paintings, which will probably be two different sets with two different frames - just for a change! 
After that, I've not decided yet - could be some curtains, or some rugs, or some sofas/armchairs, or some towels, or some more walls/floors - see, said I'd been busy! 
Anyway, if there's anything in particular you would prefer, just let me know and I'll see what I can do!

Sigh..here I go again..
I get to play the lovely "Uninstall/Reinstall" game again!! Yeah! NOT! >:(I don't know why, but nearly all of my hard drive is filled up! I had WAY more on my computer before (the last uninstall/reinstall game was played) when my hubby fixed it. There is so little room, that I can hardly play my Sims! It's awful! They move all jerky like when on 3 speed, only SLOW! You can just forget about about having a family of more than 3! It freezes my game!!
So, next week (goin' up to my mom's again this weekend) I am going to have my hubby start me from scratch, yet again! Shoot! Where I am at right now, I can't even THINK about installing apartment life! AGGGG!!! I gotta HAVE that one! Have you seen the latest video of it? OMGosh! WAY to cute! Of course you've seen it. You are my friends, you are on TSR, you are about as addicted to it as me! Ok, hiedibear, you are the biggest Simfreak I know! You have us all beat! I mean, come on now! 24/7 is pretty much your sim hours! LOL
Well, I am supposed to be getting ready to go to my moms. I need to get in the shed and pull some stuff out for a yard sale at my aunts house this weekend. I need some extra vacation bucks! As of today, only 22 more days until I can see LaurieR again and torment her (evil laugh). More than likely though, I will be the one tormented the most, but I plan to give her a run for her money!! Maybe I will teach her boys the most annoying songs I know to sing for her ALL THE TIME! Gotta love me!

SA Status - Wow!
This morning I was so thrilled to find that I had been promoted to SA. I found it difficult to concentrate at work today and couldn't wait to get home again.Thank you all for the well wishes! Special thanks to artists such as Illiana and Alyosha who have given me a boost in confidence. I'll try to live up to the high standards of the SA team here, but I must admit that I'm a little intimidatd by all the talent around TSR. Feedback, including constructive criticism, is always appreciated.
Now ... I better get back to building!

Llama Field Arena!
Don't know what's gotten into me, but Community Lots keep popping into my head. LOL! I've just finished testing this one, and miracle of miracles there was NO lag, and it played smooth as can be. Yay!!! Just a matter of getting the preview shots for it now...and uploading of course. ;) Facts: Community Lot EPs Needed - Uni/NL/OFB/SEAS/BV Custom Content - None - Maxis Only Lot Size - 6x5 Functions as: Park - Llama Field Arena has tiered seating, bathroom facilities, food stands, a bandstand, electronic gadget sales, arcade games, a photobooth, chess games, and a nice green field to play catch or kickybag on! Short break, then rugs!
I've been taking a short break to take care of some RL stuff. When I get back, more rugs! Be sure to answer my new poll as I take your desires into account when I weave my rugs.I need holidays :)

Here's some pictures of the changes in the landscape in the mountains since the Kareef (monsoon) has arrived. Everything is so green, it was like we were driving through a different country as the rest of the countryside in the valleys is just sand and baked earth. Enjoy.
Last but not least I thought I'd include a picture of the mountains where the kareef hasn't reached, just so you can see the vast difference in the landscape.

Yay!! I was so happy to login this morning and see the big 400,000 downloads - well big for me anyway ;) - I want to thank everyone for their continued support and positive feedback and encouragement. I appreciate it very much. Work is getting a bit more hectic and I am in the process of finding a new place to live so I won't be around as much for a few weeks but I will try and get a couple of little projects I have been working on, finished and uploaded soon. I hope you all have a great day and see you around soon :)

Anniversary
I didn't realize how fast time flies... Gosh, I feel like it was just yesterday when I was submitting my first upload! It is my first anniversary here at TSR and I am hoping that not the last ;). I'd like to thank for giving me an opportunity to share my work with the others, for wonderful comments about my work; I've met here so many wonderful people and learnt so much from them. Thank you guys... Yay, let's celebrate :D!Just a Quickie - For Now ;)
I have a tiny little update coming out tomorrow - nothing fancy, just a pair of walls to match some Maxis siding. I'm not even going to bother posting the preview pic here.BUT! Don't feel discouraged or let down. These small additions are for a house that I have nearly completed to share with all of you hopefully by the end of the week.
I seem to be burning the candle at both ends again (when am I not, you ask?) and while lots can take longer to create, they're easier for me to pick up and put aside when time is often short. Hopefully you'll enjoy it - it's something of the start of what I hope will be a long-awaited series.
August 4th, Vintage Charm Pink
I just uploaded the Vintage Charm Pink collection and the set is scheduled for publication on August 4th. I uploaded a total of 38 files! Whew! This is a really big set! LOL! I really enjoy creating large collections of vintage and Victorian furnishings.I especially love creating small decorative items or "clutter" that we all have laying around our homes. I believe that adding small decorative items to a space is what makes a house a home.

Texture Challenge 100
*** Updated *** July 30th We are now on the 100th Texture Challenge, and we're doing a batch texture collection, one from everyone. The sets should be big, and we're all hoping beautiful. We've started a seperate thread just for the TC 100, to display all the special sets that come from the textures. Please go to the forum and check it out. You should be able to find the link to the special forum from the Texture Challenge Showcase Forum. Please come check it out, and maybe join in on the Texture Challenge fun! Hope to see you there. 1) NO Clothing, These are a object recolor/retexture forum.
2) 2 weeks to create as many sets as you want.

Normal TC Rules Apply as above also, except new texture is released weekly, and there is no time limit/restrictions. You can take as long as you need to make a set per TC, and you can start with any TC you want to. I'm terribly sorry. When I was without a computer for such a long time I became completely backlogged with answering the many wonderful comments. It is taking much longer than anticipated. Hey Folks! I've finally finished my 'Bohemian Black & White Set' - after quite a few alterations - so I intend to upload that in the next couple of days - that's gonna be fun! In the meantime, the 'Bear Necessities' paintings have been submitted and approved and are due out on the 29th & 30th
- I know it was a long time ago when I first mentioned them, but I've finally got there (kept getting distracted by other things!).
Also, to go with the paintings, I have produced a set of rugs! 
. I've only done 12 as I thought another 38 would be a little over the top!!, but they will co-ordinate with any of the paintings, so hopefully you'll like them!
I've been doing a lot of experimenting with re-colouring and following the relative success of my black and white sofas, I've created some more of them - two sets in fact! Personally, I think they've turned out really well - but maybe I'm just a little biased!

I WILL get around to uploading them at some stage, along with some more curtains, floor tiles, and rugs - once I have satisfied a certain person's addiction for paintings (if that's ever going to be possible - which I doubt very much!!!)
Anyway, just thought I'd keep you posted with what's been going on! 
And remember that if you feel like commenting on anything or making any suggestions, I'm more than happy to listen!

Hi Everyone, As you can tell by my banner that we have something big coming up. For those of you who are not aware of it, if you go to the forum there is a thread called Texture Challange. It is a lot of fun and a great place to be. It is a place where you get a lot of help and encouragement from all who take part and it's an AWESOME way to learn, and like I said everyone there is awesome. I would like to encourage any one interested to stop in and check us out. TC100 is going to be GREAT and you don't want to miss it. You don't even really have to recolor we use to have a girl in there that was like our cheerleader. She would give her imput on our stuff, make suggestions, and even a request once in a while. Hey there!I started playing this new hood, with a bunch of rules. Well actually, I took the Royal Neighborhood challenge and modified it to fit the way I like to play.
I decided to keep posted the on-going actions of that hood on FreeWebs, so anybody could take a peek. I only play one day at a time per family, so there's not that much there yet, but it has started (well, I started playing officially yesterday! :P )
You will notice that all my sims are living in the houses I have uploaded recently to TSR. Useless to say that I pick those house to build for that hood, and then decided to share them with you.
