I could use some prayers for my baby. She has a shunt placement surgery on July 16. They have told me it is a quick procedure but I am still nervous about them messing with her head. For those that don't know, the shunt drains excess fluid off of her brain. She also has a 4 hour hip surgery on July 28. I would take prayers for that too. Oh, and that I sufficiently learn how to change her diapers with a body cast on!! Thank you so much.Chapter 2 has been uploaded!
The Andretti's
...dumdumdum...That was my sorry attempt at a drum roll...heh, oh well. We can't all excell at everything, can we?
Anywho, I've been working like MAD on the Andretti's. I'm in the 'mood'...which is surprising considering it's been almost two weeks since I last uploaded.
I'll give you a hint: ...I'm working on Part 51 as we speak, which means that 49 AND 50 have been uploaded and awaiting approval.

Away for a month.
I am in the process of moving to a new area - selling my house and looking for a new one. Right now I am so busy with that, amongst other stuff...I just don't have the time to create for Sims. So I am taking a month off to deal with all this.I will check my comments and pop into the forums from time to time, and I should be fully back on track here by the end of July or first week in August.
Matt & Jenny
I finally got what I think is somewhat close to what Matt & Jenny looked like. I didn't get the house exactly.....but close. Jenny's hair is a bit different because I couldn't find the exact mesh again......and I'm leery of adding too many meshes. Aside from their clothes I think I got THEM pretty darn close if I do say so myself (took several attempts to get her face looking like "Jenny"). :D (knock on wood) The only computer problem I currently have is that I do NOT have a question mark key; so "(Q)" = "question mark".

I got the house kinda sorta close. There ARE......SOME differences.

Sorry it is taking so long, but some of them are huge requests and I want to honor their request(s).If You feel I have missed your request, please feel free to PM me and I will add you to my list. I would not knowingly excluded you if I said I would do the request, but papers have been know to disappear from my cluttered desk in the night. LOL!!

Fairies & Unicorns!
Quick update! The set of 'Flower Fairy Paintings' I've been working on have been tested successfully in-game, and I think, have turned out really well (but maybe I'm just a little biased!). I will upload them later tonight, so hopefully they'll be published in a few days. I've also been working on the 'Unicorns/Pegasus' set, and this is the result:
Re-sizing issues make the previews look a bit blurry, but they're ok in-game.
Any thoughts or comments?

Clowns are Creepy
Hubby and I took the kids to the circus this past weekend. I'd like to say that all the bright colors and fanciful atmosphere inspired new creations, but all I can really say is "$24 FOR COTTON CANDY!" That, and "clowns are creepy". I've never been a big fan of clowns. It may have something to do with watching Poltergeist at the drive-in at age 5, or maybe reading Stephen King's "It" while I was in elementary school, I dunno. Anyway, I'm now broken when it comes to clowns. I don't see them as happy, goofy, bringers of joy. I see them as creepy, evil-doers who must wear make-up because they're hiding something. The kids thought they were great, which I'm glad for, but one of the clowns touched me, and I thought I was gonna barf. That, or punch him. Yuck!The best part of the circus, according to the kids, was the elephants. Because they did such neat tricks? No. Beacuse while they did such neat tricks, they pooped all over each other. There's nothing like a little, ok, a lot, of dung to really get the crowd going. It's been 3 days and the kids still say stuff like, "Remember when the elephants were standing on their heads, and that one big one had diarrhea?" Ah, good times. I spent $100 to look at poop. :)
New Low Cost Living Room Set
Just finished a new living room set featuring my absolute favorite nasturtium flower and vine wallpaper. It's a big bold pattern, so it was a little tricky not letting the whole room get overwhelming. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out...especially the sofa that looks oh-so-comfy. The set comes with three carpets and four walls so you can mix and match to get the right balance of pattern and color for your Sims. Should be out in a few days.

Hi, I would like to thank each and everyone of you who had participated in the poll that I had on my minisite. I appreciated it very much and also thank you for your time when participating during the poll. So, the results are very close to each other and the highest is : Lipgloss...So, probably I'll make more lip-glosses and lipsticks for sims and also, a little bit of others so as to be fair to all. On holiday!
If anyone wonders why I've gone quiet over the next couple of weeks, it because my partner and I are off on a well deserved holiday.We're staying over at Manchester airport tonight, then fly out to New York tomorrow morning, for almost two weeks!
I'm so excited! New York is somewhere I've always wanted to visit, and there's so much I want to do there that I'll be lucky to fit even half of it in. Oh and shopping!

More sportswear
I set my foot in the gym for the first time ever, 6 months ago. It didn't take long for me to get hooked! I don't have any real sportswear as yet, but am planning to buy some this fall. I guess that's why I'm so eager to dress up my simmies! I believe I will feel even better about training once I get myself something proper to wear. And so will my simmies. So I've made tracksuits for elder females and sportswear for teen boys, these will be coming up soon!My Surgery Day
...we got to the hospital at about 5:45am. We followed the little map I was given by the nurse three weeks prior, and we ended up at a dead end of the hospital. I was really starting to get mad and even more stressed because this particular nurse has been a flippin' nightmare since the beginning.We noticed a small sign on the wall that said that we needed to report to this other place, so that's where we went. I headed for the desk to check in and they didn't know who I was and didn't even have my chart. So I just started crying...really loud. I was so upset, I knew this was going to happen as everyone in the entire hospital had an entirely different surgery date than I did. Nothing about this entire surgery experience has gone right for me, and I mean nothing.
Anyway, my mom went up to see what the problem was...and they directed us to a different part of the hospital. They took me back to my bed, and I started crying again...of course, I was scared and nothing was going right. They put in my catheter and then my mom went to switch out with my dad. Because I was an adult, they would only allow one person to visit with me at a time.
My dad came in and gave me a hug, and we talked for a little bit...and then a Chaplain came in and started praying for me...which got me crying again. He then asked how old I was, and he just about had a heart attack when I told him 21. He said I didn't look that at all, and then started talking about how he used to lie about his age when he was younger so he could get a cheaper price on things. I thought that was funny. Then, my step-dad went to switch out with Charles. When Charles got there, the nurses were gathering my things and about to take me to the OR. I was the first sugery of the day. So, they told Charles to go get my step-dad and my mom, and then wheeled me away.
I didn't get to spend any time with Charles at all before sugery. Once we got to the OR waiting room, there were two nurses who just started yelling at each other. One of them got pissed off when I told her that my mom wanted to talk to the doctor before surgery. So, Charles went out to get my mom...as they'd only allow one person at a time there, too. He went to get her, and then the nurse told him to wait for the doctor...it pissed me right off. She was such a jerk. She was ticked off because the other nurse should have taken me directly to the OR instead of stopping in between. Way to go, girls...let's just stress out the surgery patients a lot more while we're at it.
Eventually, they wheeled me away to the OR, and I just started crying again...I was so scared. I went to sleep, and then it seemed like within seconds I woke up. There were about 5 or 6 people standing over me. I was shaking like crazy...I wasn't cold, but I was nearly shaking right off the bed. They gave me some drugs, and I stopped shaking. I kept hearing them talking about how low my blood pressure was, and then at one point he said it was 50 over something, and then the other lady said it's higher than it was. I kept asking when I could see my mom, but they said she wasn't allowed to see me yet.
Eventually, they moved me into the original room I was in where they put in my IV that morning. My mom, step-dad, and Charles appeared. The lady said that I needed to get out of the bed and into the recliner on the far wall. I asked her if I could stay in the bed and she told me no. She then helped me into the recliner, looked at my incisions and told me that I was bleeding alittle bit.
She also said that as soon as I could pee, I could go home. I finally made it to the bathroom...and holy hell, I just about died. It hurt soooooo bad. It was like peeing razor blades.
My mom also told me that the doctor told her he'd removed a nearly quarter-sized something or another off my uterus and is sending it off to a lab for testing. We should have results in one week, he then also told her that he wanted to see me in two weeks to remove sutures and whatnot.

Seems I'm not over it yet ;) I'm working at the moment at a third Leyris set, it will be a bedroom this time. A few previews...
The Sling Is Off, but Don't Expect A Lot Of New Content
I was able to take off my sling and wrist brace. YAY! Seems I'm all healed up... until next time, anyway. While I had a broken wrist, I was full of ideas for new wallpaper sets, etc., but now that I am fully able to start creating again, I don't seem to have that same enthusiasm. Especially since I've somehow managed to run into some not-so-pleasant people here on TSR. I know I shouldn't be bothered by other people's bad attitudes, but after putting in hours of hard work on a project that I share freely with other people, it stings when people tell you that you're "not good enough" or to "give it up". WTF?I'm currently uninspired at the moment, but if any of you have any suggestions as to what sorts of items you'd like to see from me, feel free to let me know. Hopefully I'll get myself out of this funk. I really do like sharing, but I'm wondering if it's worth it anymore.

I apologise it has been some time since I last logged into my account - I know a lot of your have left wonderful messages on my guestbook and in my messages.
Unfortunately my account looked like it was hacked by someone which isn't nice - makes me feel kind of bummed out - so hopefully no one got nasty messages from 'me' (trust me it wasn't me!).
Just a quick note to say that I am probably not going to create anything until the next Sims XPac comes out - but don't be disappointed guys I fully intend to get back into the swing of things with the new game launch.

New Floor Tiles Collection!
Yep, we're back to floors!! Got a bit fed up with carpets, so I decided to do some tiles for a change, so here you have (or will be getting!) a set of 25 plain and simple floor tiles in pale pastel shades to match any of my walls from my 'Pale Pastels Collections'

As usual they are amazing value for all you bargain hunters out there (you know who you are!! 
- I wouldn't want your poor Sims to suffer!). 
Quick progress update - The final two sets of my single colour variation carpets have finally been published today, and my latest set of paintings is due for release tomorrow (4th July)

I know I keep promising a new set with meshes I made myself, but I keep running into unforseeable snags that keep setting me back. Just as soon as get over this recent hurdle, I will unveil my *masterpieces* . I want to be able to make a mesh, start to finish, without running into any problems, or if I do, I want to know how to fix it. I want them to be totally perfect before I share them with you! And I am getting there, I am just pretty much teaching this to myself, though I do have a few "gurus" who have patiently answered my questions.Retro Rules!
I'm sure enjoying Retro week here on TSR. Of course it's all Retro all the time, here on my mini-site :) Coming soon are two beds with antique quilts and matching sheets, pillow shams, and recolored head boards. Also a classic fifites formica table set in sunny yellow. Too fun!I just caught a Hawaiian bug too...no not a rare flu, but a need to create things in the Hawaiian style! Just built a home with a big lanai, integrated pool, and open, breezy style. As I work on it, I'll be creating matching decor, so watch for some tropical themes (with a retro flair), here soon!
I'll be absent for a while
For most of July, and some of August, I will be absent. That means 90% sure that I will not be able to upload anything new. While I won't be uploading anything, I already have things that need to be uploaded, but can't be at this time.While work and family matters will occupy me for a lengthy period of time, fear not that I have forgotten about this place. This leave is temporary, but needed.

Can't upload sets
I don't know what has happenned but I am not able to upload any of my sets to TSR.I just get the message saying that the set must have at least 2 items even for sets with 6 items. Just letting you all know that I will be gone for the next week. We are taking a family vacation for the 4th of July holiday weekend. From there, we are going to spend the following week in Minnesota for our annual family get-together with my parents and sisters and their families. I should be back around the 12th or 13th. During the next week, I will be checking in occasionally when I have time and can get access to a computer. When I get back I'll start working on some new skins, but I'll post a new entry for that.Happy Independence Day to all!
