Old Boston Lot 4

So sorry! I forgot to put Lot 4 in my blog! It is ready to go but ... Lots 4 and 5 seem to be stuck in 'Pending' right now. I don't know what the problem is ... but it might be due to Retro Week. H&M Summer Style 3

This is my third set of clothing created using the H&M Fashion Stuff meshes to create an understated, feminine summer wardrobe. This set comprises four dresses, one pair of shorts worn with a camisole and one pair of jeans worn with a halter top. I think the shoes in this set are particularly cute.

This week is World Without Time Retro Week and I think that two of the dresses in this set have a retro feel: one is fifties-inspired, the other I think has a sixties look. I have categorised the fifties dress under everyday and formal wear. All other items are categorised as everyday wear only.



All the items are available for adult and young adult females and require the H&M Fashion Stuff Pack.

Bach Lots

Hi All, I have made a few Beach Lots and some are having a problem placing them, These lots I built were made in Bluewater Village and will also work on Twikki Island. As for other templates in other hoods. The land may be too steep for them so they can't be placed. If you have a custom hood and have FreeTime, use the modifyneighborhoodterrain on to reslope the ground, Make sure you turn it off afterwards. Other than that Bluewater or Twikki Island is where they can be placed. Enjoy those lots anyway you like. Any problems let me know. GB

New Paintings Collection!

Just to let you know that I have just uploaded a new set of paintings - time for a change after all those carpets! (still waiting for the final 2 sets to be cleared - perhaps they're getting fed up with them as well! ) Anyway, thought I'd try something a little different from landscapes and sunsets, etc. this time, so I've gone to the deepest, darkest oceans and come up with...... some dolphins (because they're everybody's favourite - and the one with the baby is so cute ), a couple of sharks for all you 'Jaws' fans (or maybe you just want to scare your Sims' neighbours ), and finally, a whale (might even be 'Willy'!). Tube Top Obsessed & Comments

Hi everyone! I guess it may be obvious that I'm pretty much obsessed with that little tank/tube shape that I've been using lately. But those of you that have followed me know that is how I am; I do a certain style for a while then like the wind, my mood shifts and I'm obsessed with some other shape. I have almost caught up with my comments. there were almost 250, so over the last couple of days, I've set out to respond to everyone that posted a comment. Sheesh I suck at replying to comments. Sorry everyone that I haven't gotten to yet. Only 97 left. But Now I must sleep.

New Isis project

OK, I figure now that I have the blog, I'm going to make full use of it. My new project is the goddess Isis from Ancient Egypt. I've already finished the skin tone and the eyes, so now all I have left is the clothing and her wings. I'll upload pictures as I go along and people can make suggestions! :) The first pic is just a quick throw together, I won't be using those eyes, clothes or wings for the final product.

Hi-Happy Summer!

Or whatever season it is where you are! :D As you can see, I am not a very constant blogger!

I wanted to mention, that for some time now, I've been using a slightly different method for including CC (custom content) with my newer lots, and it�s been working really well. For anyone not familiar with it, I'm including the CC in a separate folder, in the .zip file (along with the lot .sims2pack), rather than including CC in the .sims2pack itself. By downloading the lot as the .zip file, (green arrow), extract the CC to your Downloads folder, before installing the lot, using either the Maxis default installer or Clean Installer. Any lots requiring this method with always have the instructions in the "Installation Instructions".

Those of you who stumble upon my site, thanks for stopping by and please browse around! Thank you to everyone who has DL any of my lots, all of the very kind comments on my lots and screenshots are very much appreciated.

Wow... Select Artist!

I want to thank all of you who have appreciated and downloaded my creations! You have kept me going, making me want to learn to do more and better creations. Now I have been honored with a Select Artist title. I'm going to hang on to it, which means that I have to keep challenging myself! Thanks again, and I hope you will keep coming back for more!

Zip Files Missing!!

Updated 06/30/08 - think finally working with new server - Yay!! Thanks TSR for fixing!! **OOps - Not Working Again - updated 06/21/08** **Currently working Again** Recently, as stated on the front page, there have been server problems at TSR.

This is not A Creator's mistake. It is a Computer Problem at TSR. An ongoing one that they are working on.

Please bear with us while we try to fix it. If you are in dire need of my recolors, please PM with email address and I will send them to you.

The Base Game

I am finally back at home! Right now though, I still can't work on Behind Closed Doors because I am in the process of setting up my new computer - which means reinstalling the sims and transferring all of my neighborhoods. Soon though, I will have that all complete. On a different note, I was a bit thrown off by the base game. I never really had a chance to play Sims 2 as just the base game because I found that I quickly bought University and Nightlife after I got the game. Therefore, I missed getting to see some of the animations that came with first kisses, woohoo, engagement, marriage, and the list goes on. Now, these animations are quite funny to watch and I am enjoying them thoroughly. And for the fun of it, a screenshot of Don Lothario dancing:

Downloading habits I think I'm in a no win situation here - the two equal top responses were that you only download the colours you like from a set, but half of you like lots of choice and half of you don't like too much choice - aaah, help! Those of you who do download whole sets seem to prefer more choice. Well, like I say, a couple of surprises, but it's given me something to work with for future wall projects, so you'll just have to wait and see what I come up with!! Mad Cow!

A warm Hello to everyone, and a continued Thank You to all who download my stuff, visit my mini-site, and say a thanks for an item I have made. I wouldn't be here if it weren't for you.

I have made 4 dresses for Granny, with many more to come. As it says in the description I made these dresses to honor my Grandmother whom always wore an apron. She passed away when I was 12 from cancer. She was a wonderful woman, she was kind to everyone she met. I miss her dearly and these dresses help bring a little bit of her back to me. I hope that you like them and enjoy them.

Wood Panel Fences & Gates

Well i finally got around to uploading the remaining recolours of Wood Panel Fences and the Gates I did to go with them. Watch out for them being published, hopefully in the next few days.
The Absley Dining set is still being worked on. It now has an additional sideboard and mirror. Tweaking chairs at the moment, wasn't completely happy with them. I hope to have the Absley Dining Set uploaded towards the end of next week.
I have about 3 or 4 projects on the go at the moment, one of them being the Esprit Bedroom Set, i am trying to get them all completed and uploaded soon. However i have a bio-chem assignment due on the 8th July, so that needs to get done and out the way, before i start on anymore creations.

Teh Chunky Floor Edger

I've been back at the drawing board with the floor edge skins, working it out to make them 3d and also able to turn corners nicely. The first one, which is Victorian inspired, I think turned out nicely. I've also finished meshing and making one texture for a basic rectangular one. Just need to make more textures, probably wood and metal looking ones. After cloning a variety of objects, I have found that using curtains as the base to clone from works much better than a sculpture like I did before. One because Sims can already walk through them (so I don't have to mess with the BHAV) and two because when you place one curtain, a second automatically comes up for placement (so you don't have to go back and click the icon again and again). Oh and you can see the object in the preview icon, which I think is a major bonus. ;-) I also have several gothic doors half finished that fit in with the wallpapers I made. Yes, I am very matchy-matchy. And I haven't scaped the Gargoyle project, it has just turned out to be a rather massive puzzle project to get it right for UV mapping. J

Yes, here be another one! I think this might be the last one for this series, although I do have a part of another house built. I'll see how it goes.

July Updates!

With all that has been going on personally I considered not updating for some time, if at all. Actually, I was on the verge of retiring my select artist position. After my niece passed away last Saturday, I started trying to put things into perspective and a game just wasn't topping the list. But as the days have been passing I made a decision to stick it out for the time being. I decided instead of retiring to just take a little break. I didn't want to leave you guys empty handed so I finished up some old projects and will release them for July. You guys probably won't even notice me gone, except for me not answering back to comments or emails for some time. I'll try checking in every so often though. I'm sure after a few weeks I'll be ready to start working on some more stuff. Here are the updates for July, hope everyone likes!! This is from the base game so no expansion is needed. If you notice, I changed the dress underneath, I didn't think the original was that cute so put one that was. These are the last walls I have plan to do for some time. I'm not really digging the wall and floor recolors. If I do anymore I will upload them though but I haven't fully decided.

Tips on Building a Trailer

1 Select the deck foundation, drag out the size required, either 6 or 4 tiles wide and however long you want. 2,3,4 To get rid of the columns use the swimming pool tool and the CTRL on your keyboard, drag across the offending column and release to delete it, do this with them all. 5,6 Open the cheat box and type Moveobjects on, now place the wheels under the foundation. 7,8 Place your walls and then a floor. 9,10 Select the End Roof section 01, then the centre sections along the roof, when you reach the opposite end use the End Roof section 02. 11,12, Finish with Windows and Doors.

Taking a Break

Just a quick note to say that I'm taking a break from TS2 and building. I plan to be start submitting some more lots in mid-July. I'm having a very busy, but wonderful summer. Hope all of you are having a great summer, too!

Robes, plaid and comfy

Just uploaded recolors of the bathrobe included in the Kitchen & Bath stuff pack. I particularly like the brown plaid men's robe as it reminds me of my father's robe from the early 1960s.

I also just built a mobile home...a replica of the one that we live in. Just have to get some images and then will upload it. I'd like to get some bales of straw made to put around the base of the trailer like we do to help insulate in the winter (I know, we are hillbillies!)

Also have a few ideas for athletic wear and sundresses which I may tackle this weekend.

Yay!! I finally got my minisite! I'd like to thank all of my friends here on TSR who helped me get it... Cinderellimouse and Cutedazy for their fun conversations, I look forward to them all the time! :) Midland_04 for his help in finding new polls and Twinkletoe for her advice on bookmarking! I'm so excited I finally got it, now I can finally show off all my creations! I'd especially like to thank all of you who have downloaded and taken the time to comment on my creations, especially SimCredible. It's these kind words of praise and encouragement that keep me motivated to make new and better things! :D

Rules for my creations

Well, I figured as part of my new blog I would set the rules for my creations. I only have one rule... please don't claim my stuff as your own. Other than that I don't care. If you think any of my stuff should be uploaded onto another site, please let me know and I will do it with credit to you for showing me the site. You may use any of my stuff in your lots or screenshots. I would LOVE to see pictures of my creations being used so if you wouldn't mind, feel free to send me a message in my guestbook so I can see it. :D I hope everyone enjoys my creations as much as I have enjoyed making them. If you have any requests for CC, let me know! I would love to know what people think or if they have any suggestions. My specialties so far are swimsuits, wall murals and paintings. Hopefully I'll get a bit better at some other stuff and once I feel they are good enough I will upload them here. My lots are always small, starter lots since my computer isn't fast enough to run smoothly when I use big lots. So if you have any requests for those too, again, I would love to hear it! New Project - Adobe?!

Yes that's right. I thought I would give an Adobe home a try...not some itty bitty one either. LOL! No, I had to go ALL out...er, or at least as far as Maxis Only would let me. They don't really make much in the way of Spanish/Meditteranean decor. So here's a few "known stats". (Keep in mind that this home still needs lighting and testing so it may be a day or so before it is ready to be uploaded.) 1 - It is Maxis Only - No Custom Content (CC) used in it at all. 2 - It will, as per my usual, be only available to the UBER-cheaters, or mega rich. LOL! (Somewhere in the neighborhood of 300,000 - 400,000) 3 - It is a 4 bedroom, 3 and 1/2 bath home - 2 Stories 4 - It does have a study, formal dining, full kitchen, gorgeous living room, huge first floor master with large ensuite bath and walk-in dressing area...also a private deck, large bedrooms, living room is open to the 2nd floor, 2 fireplaces, an attached garage with minivan, fully landscaped, indoor and outdoor fountains, all skills, alarms, and phones supplied. 5 - An attempt has been made to try to capture the Spanish/Meditteranean feel that I wanted, but with Maxis only that is very hard to do. I am quite certain that those who enjoy this type of architecture/home will have the CC, or be able to get the CC, necessary to make this house be all that it can be! Enough babble - Here's some sneak previews - (Without lights, and no testing yet so some things MAY change...but I'm pretty careful so they may not. Hehehe!)

My First Blog

Well, I finally did it. I save enough Kudos points to be able to get myself a minisite. I really appreciated everyone that has downloaded my creations which has allow me to achieve this.
I also want to take this opportunity to thank a few people that have helped me out, Spaik for her patience and great tutorials, MsBarrows, Rose-maman for her texturing tutorial & assistance. Plus many other FA's that have been extremely helpful.
It will probably take me a few days to figure out all the things that a minisite has, so bare with me.
As you will probably have noticed most of my creations are not listed on my minisite, it may take a day or so before the techies at TSR get around to updating the code.

First mesh set!

Hey ya, people! :))
Well, I guess you've already seen my set and maybe some of you already have seen it in the game)) I haven't enough time to write this message before, but better now, than never! :)
I do hope you all like White Eternity, your feedback means a lot to me, really, I've been thinking that if nobody will download this I'll stop my tryings in meshing.. But now I think that I should make something interesting for you! :D

Kids on track!

Don't you just hate the lack of decent tracksuits for our simmie kids? It's easier to get them off the couch if you dress them for sports! Luckily, I found a teen tracksuit converted for girls in the TSR Archives. It took me some time to figure out how to make it work for boys, too, but I finally got it! And, of course, gave it a designer touch.(It's not that Adidas is my favorite brand, but their 3 stripes are easily recognized everywhere, and look good on clothing.)

Now a FA! :-) (an other news)

As you all know, my status changed to FA this week, and it was a really, really great surprise! I want to thank everyone again who sent me so many nice messages in the "news" frontpage and in my GB! Each word of yours made me smile :) I am very grateful for this opportunity and I hope you'll enjoy my creations to come.

Now, this is the time where I do a little of "me" talk; if you look at my files, you'll see that I uploaded my first creations in 2004... I had no idea at the time it would lead me to this! Becoming a SA last summer was a big surprise for me, something I hadn't even dreamed of... so imagine my surprise now! Wow! I met many wonderful people here on TSR and I love to share wath I do with everyone.

So as I said before, I am now away from home for a couple of days, visiting friends and family; I uploaded a few sets before going; they were made before I knew about becoming a FA, which means that when I come back home, next week, the new stuff I make will be my very first FA creations! Yay!

Chapter 27

I know it seems like forever since my last update and I'm sorry. I am going to try to get this story done, I promise. I'll finish it. I'm currently have big problems in RL. My husband and I are separating and it's eating my time and creativity. And it very well may affect the ending of the story.
