Hello All!
Well hello there fellow simmers! :D As you can see, I have finally been able to save up enough Kudos points to get my own minisite. YAY! I am SO thrilled to be able to share my homes with you...and want to thank all of you who have downloaded my lots. I still can't believe I already have over 15,000 downloads. You are all the best! It's 1:00 a.m. in the morning and I'm still up working on the next lot in the series: Down on Main Street IV. This one is a little different because it's a residential lot with a home business. Now your Sims can live down on Main Street in a spacious 4 bedroom+ flat! Right next door you'll find a cafe and pastry shop that's all yours to run. Let the dough roll in! I'm actually very excited about this lot, and can't wait to test it tomorrow. Fun, fun, fun! I'm not yet decided on the mixed architecture. I would appreciate any feedback. Here's a preview:
Venice Livingroom Endtable
For those of you who have downloaded my Venice Livingroom, would you please download the endtable again as I have replaced the file so that it doesn't overwrite the maxis file and with a lot lower polys.Thank you :)
What's upcomming next?
I worked very hard after uninstalling FT and created a lot of new stuff for adult female, teens and toddlers. Here's a little sneak previeuw... These cowspots outfits for little toddlers are uploaded today. My thanks to Cat3cm for creating the wonderful Radio Flyer Wagon that works like a toy box. My toddlers did have a lot of fun!!
I also created some new swimwear for girls.
I created Nice & collourful T- shirts & tops for Teen girls.

The Pastels Collections
Hello again! The two latest offerings from my 'Pastels Collections' are due to be published soon
. Firstly, wood floors in the usual 12 pastel shades, followed by seamless, half-paint, half-wood walls to match - I must admit, they look pretty good in game (maybe I'm biased! 
).
I've also been working on some more paintings - so keep a look out for those too!

The New Survey
Wow the new survey is a little scary isn't it? I think it would be sad if downloads were limited to only FAs. I've depended on TSR for the majority of my downloads because this is one of the few sites I trust to make sure that stuff is safe with no 'strings' attached. If the site went strictly to FA that would basically finish that. Anyway enough whining we'll just have to wait and see what happens.Thank You!

I have been on quite a few downloading binges (as we all do) since being back and I decided to share some of my favourite artists so far.Atwa, Moonlit Maiden, Aikea Guinea, Sheera, Gelydh, Windkeeper, Evi, Juttaponath, Bunny, and Raveena to name a few. I haven't got around to searching the entire database yet, but think I've made a good start! LOL
My new Items
Hello to all blog readers! I create some new items for our little sim world :D. First I have some new wall hangings sets. Beautiful Art Part 5 and 6. I upload the sets some minutes ago. Tomorrow or at the weekend I try to upload two other fantastic wall hanging sets and when I upload the two new sets, you can see it here in my little blog, of course!! EDIT: Okay today the weather outside is so bad, that I finished one picture with all wall hangings, of one of the other two sets!! It's Lara Croft, in poster size. Boys and girls, it�s time for me to post some brand new info! If you have patiently expected and waited for my new sets, I have to admit you are very...well, patient! I�m trying to make new uploads as often as I can, but it does get a bit hard when you only have a 56K modem to work with and are uploading several 1MB or larger sets. Anyways, I continued the tradition of creating hair sets (go figure), and I�m proud to announce that there is several of them stashed on my hard drive, as well as a couple of clothing sets. I also took a swing at creating a hairstyle for guys! It�s VERY simple, but I do so modestly think it turned out pretty good. And if you had a chance to read Xandhers blog, you could see that she�s going to upload some recolor of hair meshes I made, which makes me very, very proud. Her work has always standed for supreme quality IMO, so I�m quite excited to see her vision of them!That would be it. And now, if you would excuse me, I�m off to enjoy some "Free Time". Later!

Well, in the form of more default replacement eyes. Hey, it's something I can do. Trust me, I can't do much.Thanks to MsBarrows for letting me play with her new eyes - I should have another DR set coming out soonish, as she has another new set. :D
Please note that you can mix and match to some extent, but you may only have ONE default replacement for each Maxis color. If you like all the colors then you can pick them up as custom eyes from MsBarrows. :)
And yes, that's Dathan...he's kind enough to model all kinds of things for me. :) The boy just cannot manage to look bad, no matter what I do to him. He even makes a pretty girl. :D

Well, I just got this thing today, and I just cannot leave this blog with nothing in it. OMG!I'll work to flesh out the rest of it a little later. :)
I have a few creations up on TSR - just some default replacement eyes - but my main thing is my stories. I have two legacies and several short stories, and while I think they could be better (believe me, we can always improve!) I'm overall quite pleased with most of them.

Our House!
I've been promising a few people that I would post some pictures of our new house in the Oman. I thought all the pictures we had were on our PC, which is still sailing it's way here, anyway to cut a long story short...I found some on the laptop, so here they are. Hope you enjoy them. I know it all looks very green, a gardener comes every other day and waters everything all day long so it stays lovely and green, when you drive out of the front gates it's a different story, all baked earth, sand and no grass.
More FoMD
I've just submitted two sets both floor sets for the Flowers of May Day series. One set is carpets and one is wood floors. Nothing fancy this time. I was putting my efforts into the other build items this time. Also most of the walls are so fancy that plain floors are a must. The living room set is done and has more than a dozen pieces. I'm working on the kitchen set slowly. I've got a virus that is going around town which makes you miserable so the recoloring is the easiest thing I can do when I feel like being up. And yes I created the Tropical house on my worst days just because the challenge took my mind off how bad I felt. Most of the Flowers of May Day series is complete in one way or another. The kitchen was the only part where I'd done almost nothing. The bath is the other. Anyway I should have the entire series done in the next two weeks and then I'll start thinking of what to do next. I'm trying to slowly but surely learn more and increase my skill so that my stuff gets better, there are a few pieces in this that I'm not happy with but I don't know what to do to change it. I won't be surprised if this isn't a popular set. I will say though that the kitchen pieces are turning out better this time than the ones from my AH series. I think all the work I put into those kitchen sets really helped with this one. Anyway we'll see how everyone likes the furniture and appliance objects for this series.Desperate Housewives for sims

Greetings!Well thanks to Atwa's help I finally managed to upload some new photo's and my first screenshot, rah! LOL I have realised today how much I missed this place and the wonderful Artists who create such awesome goodies for us, that also give us a helping hand. This is the coolest place and I'm loving being back so far.
Also my thanks go out to MoonlitMaiden for her moral support, we got chatting due to my avatar and have started PMing today, which is awesome.
It's always a little intimidating and daunting to approach Artists at first because you think they are already probably really busy sorting everyone else out as well as running their lives and creating such beautiful items themselves, but if you get stuck and need help please don't hesitate to ask people, thats all part of the service here at TSR, yet another good reason to love the place.
So big thanks to Atwa and Maiden for their brains and support so far.

Weird Things Happening!
Hi All
I actually had a break from creating last night and got back into the game for once. Got my second Genie (half a Genie actually, as shown in my latest screenshot - I thought it was quite funny that he was looking down as if he realised he hadn't got any legs! 
- maybe it's just my warped sense of humour!
A weird thing happened when I sent my teens off to Uni - there were two other students (not mine!) on campus and sometimes they would appear normally, and at other times they were transluscent 
. I've got a couple of screenshots that I will post, but this has never happened before - not in my game anyway - it was one of those 'Woah, what's going on?' moments the first time it happened 
Anyway, I've been back at the creating again tonight, working on some new rugs since my first set seem to be quite popular!

Yes I am! Broke the rules here, it's about the "Relax" hair set.The rules here at TSR state that recoloring pay meshes outside of TSR, is forbidden. Oh well, as much as I liked the texture and everything,I had to remove it. :(

Friday's my Birthday
Just a quick reminder to those of you good enough to visit my page, I will not be "here" this weekend. Friday is my birthday, and since I'm spending this entire week shuttling my kids back and forth to their testing sites, I will be rewarding myself (and them) with a big "nothing" Friday. Consider me dead that day. I'm sleeping in, will not answer the phone, will lounge about in my pj's watching my Angel box set, and eating mass amounts of junk food. Saturday I'll be out at the Home Show with my mom, and Sunday I have the obligatory birthday get together. (I realize that makes me sound ungrateful, but I'm exhausted and need a time out.)I'll be back Monday if anyone needs to get in touch with me for any reason.
I do not make clothes...
Why? Because I'm awful at it. Believe me, I've tried plenty of times to make something for my Sims to wear. I have great ideas when it comes to an outfit, but when the time comes to actually put it together, my skills are not up to the challenge. "Dodge" here, "burn" there... it creates shading and adds realism. Let me tell you what happens when I take a stab a realism, it turns into one big mess. To prove a point, I posted some of my creations here recently.Please, I beg you, don't ask me to make clothes anymore. It pains me to see how sloppy my artistry is in this area. :)
Busy with making meshes!
Hi to all!Well, not so long ago I've tried to make my own meshes and I've found this occupation really interesting and exciting. I'm trying my best to learn how to make my own objects 'cause I've always felt lack of it in my game, lol! I know that there's too many meshes now but making something by yourself is really amazing. I don't want to do smth else now beside making meshes&building houses...But it's really hard to make everything at the same time)) So I think that I'm taking a small break now...

Tropical Home
A while back a commercial stirred my creative imagination but I wasn't able to doing anything about it because I was busy elsewhere. Then Sesame put out a set that spurred me on even more. I didn't use any of the objects in that set because she made the Ma Kai Lanai set using the same furniture style that was just as gorgeous and in even livelier tropical colors. I still plan to use one of the recolors from the rustic set and create the house with the conservatory that she and I talked about. I think of it as my "Cabot Cove" Cliffside home. In my life I've had two homes in my head that I always wanted to own in real life. One was a Japanese style home, but furnished in a style that was sort of hodgepodge of Japanese and Chinese style decor. Mostly Japanese but with the little touches from China. Black lacor with red dragons and gold leaf sadly that is what I still have in my head. One of these days my sims will definitely have that. The other home was cliffside home. I have the clearest vision of it and I intend to use Sesame's Rustic set to decorate the main room that looks off over the ocean. It's a bit dark, dark woods and colors but the room itself is very cool (temp wise) and peaceful. If I can actually create that in the sim home I will feel like I've really accomplished something perfect.Sorry for the largest delay known on TSR
sorry for the big delay but some reason I am having problems with the homecrafter on my computer, I am trying to figure it all out.The Paintings are Coming!
Finally I have preview pictures for my new paintings set that does it justice, and I have just uploaded them 
, so fingers crossed they'll be accepted (this is the first time I've attempted paintings!).
I'm really pleased with the way they have turned out and am thinking of creating some more - possibly snow scenes (we had over six inches of snow on the south coast of England on Sunday - come on, it's April not December!!)

What's New
For the past few weeks I've been working hard on something other than recoloring. It's about time to take a short break from it to recolor something, though, because I'm kinda itching to. :D Anyway, I am working on learning a program called Blender, which is so complicated it's insane! You have to take it slowly, a bit at a time, first learning what its tools will do, then learning what you can do with them! I think it will take me years....:DGood news & Bad news.
Because of the bad patch I did have problems with my game. I uninstalled FT because of it and thats also the reason for the less uploads of my creations past week. I uninstalled my expansion not only beause of the bad patch, but also because this game never did get started up fine, or running on my pc like it schould be. I've noticed I am not the only one with the irritating start-up problems. There are a lot of people who are complaining about this issue to. This bad up starting was a irritating problem to me, because when I wanted to play this game, I have to put the disc 20 times, or even more than that in the discdrive!! For that reason it costed me lots and lots of time to create a previeuw for my creations. It took me about a half hour, or even more, before I was able to play the game. Past week I lost a lot of recollours I did create for FT. I have no fun annymore to play or create with this expansion. For that reason I decided to uninstal FreeeTime, and I am waiting for the day when EA gives us a good & decend and a wel tested patch. Well.. enough of that! After the bad news I have some Good news to! I'm back playing with the BonVoyage expansion and buissy with a whole bunch of new recollours for toddlers, teens and children. I also have a little previeuw of 3 FT dresses for girls wich I kept apart before I installed the bad patch. (Yes, I backed up my files).
Beside that, I've also played one of the new downloadable challenges from TSR, Alien Breeding, created by cwykes.
It was the first challenge I've downloaded ever.
I had a whole lot of fun playing it, and completed it yesterday!

Compensation!
Since I've had to put my paintings on hold for now - hopefully I'll be able to upload them tomorrow - I've decided to submit a set of six neutral wall sidings as compensation - these match my 'Neutral Brick Walls' (as shown in my featured creations). Unfortunately the preview images did not turn out that well because I had to resize them, so they look rather stripey. They DO NOT look like this in game - they look so much better - so please don't be put off just because the previews appear a bit dodgy! Mad Cow
