Cyber Helmet
I'm wondering if anyone knows of a way (without hacking) to access the Thinking Cap in Body Shop for recolouring as a custom hairstyle. That would do quite well as a finishing touch for my Cybermen, could I but see my way clear to doing it. All advice most welcome.New Poll, New Stuff
I have posted a new poll, my first one in a long time. I am also very busy working on a couple of new sets. The first will be a Loft Living Room Set. I am probably about half way done with that set. After, I will be finishing up part one to the Video Gamer's Room Set.That's it for now!
Happy simming!

PS: you may have noticed I have been updating my mini site to feature my more recent works and a new color scheme!
Broken Tree Arches
For any of you who have been cursing an unidentified download that seems to have spoilt one of the Maxis arches, well, um, er (polite cough) it might have been connected with me - possibly, maybe...Or most likely!!!
Remember that Treehouse set from oh-so-very-long-ago? Well, it transpires that the straight and diagonal archways have been overwriting the wallmask (cutout hole in the wall) for one of the Maxis arches all this time. Only now, thanks to MsBarrows, has it come to light.

Treehouse Set
I have set the items free (this will activate tomorrow) for four weeks so that if you no longer have a TSR subscription, you can still download the fixed archways.
I shall create a special in-box for the usual embittered attacks and violent replies.
Fixed archways:
Straight Treehouse Archway
Diagonal Treehouse Archway
Just a quick update
Well, turns out the tutorial will take a bit longer to get published. I had already sent it, but this Monday I got an email from Maaike (the member of the staff in charge of the article submission) who was also working on a tutorial on the same subject. So, in order to have one great tutorial instead of two good ones, we decided to incorporate some of her ideas that were missing in my tutorial. I will try my best to make these changes, but this means this project will take a bit longer to be concluded. I'm sorry for the delay everyone. Wish me luck! :)
What's With The Slacking?

Alright, alright, you probably feel as though I've been slacking since my last creation, published Jan, 1st. When I usually have a creation published every 2 days! (hehe)Well, what's the hold up you ask?
I have a few goodies up my sleeve that I'm working on and will be publishing just in time for Valentine's Day, so be patient... these designs will be worth the wait. >XD
Muuuuwaaahhhhaaaaaa!
500,000 Downloads!
Today I have reached over 500,00 downloads which is just amazing! Thankyou to everyone who has downloaded and enjoyed my work and hugs to everyone who has left me kind comments :-)Lakeside Dwelling Set
I thought you might like to see a few more details of the Lakeside Dwelling lots which are out tomorrow.
Many thanks to my little sis who spotted a problem with the stairs in these lots while testing them for me (Sims could go upstairs but not come down again); it's now been fixed and while testing the revised versions, I took a few snapshots of the Traveller family who bought the dark wood version as their new vacation home.
Here's Trent watching the waves:

And eventually braving them:

Trisha settling down for a nice sunbathing session on some pine needles in the shade, having built a MASTERPIECE of a sandcastle (I was testing on a computer with only BV installed so no snow in Three Lakes!):

And here's the walkout basement. I'm afraid there's no natural daylight coming into the basement - because of how I built these lots - so get your Sims to leave the lights on when they're down there if environment scores drop.

The ground floor:

And finally the top floor balcony bedroom:

Please don't remove the floor tiles above this level if you have Seasons - the snow and rain might come in as the roof overhangs the walls at some points. You can remove them if you don't have Seasons.
Oh - and I've set this lot as having two bedrooms, because there's plenty of room to add another should you wish.
Hope you'll like it! I wish I could buy it myself...

Sandy Shores Neighborhood
Here's another smaller hood that I had created prior to the beach lot hood. This was basically a test for me in creating a hood for beach lots. Hope you all like but it doesn't have as much usable space as the other hood I submitted a while back.
Little Nottingham Manor
Small, comfortable house for that Sims family who want to live outside of the city. Lovely exterior walls are by mayskaya, and are absolutely wonderful and so realistic. Home has nice, good-sized rooms where your own special decor can be added for that custom look. Mostly Maxis items are used with the exception of spiral staircase by Spaik (very cool) and windows by Chrissy6930. Preview pix of interior.... Entry Way

SAU Update
Hey Guys,Well i had a look over at The Sims Artists Union today and it seems that they are up and running again. But there layout is now a little different so it seems that now i am going to have to update all my links again.
So i'm just asking for you guys to be a little patient with me. If i get the chance i will fix them tomorrow.
Thanks though to those of you who have been patient. I appreciate it.
Hugs,
Louise
Thank You
Just a quick but sincere THANK YOU to everyone who has left a comment, posted in my guest book, and/or clicked that nifty little 'Thank the Artist' link next to my downloads. I wish I had the time to give each of you a personalized thank you, but I do read every single comment and treasure them all!

I finally scrimped and saved my way to a mini-site!! Thank you to everyone who has downloaded my stuff for keeping me inspired! Thank you also to everyone who has taken the time to leave comments, I really appreciate the feedback! A special thank you to all my TC friends who have mentored me and kept me creating with their inspiration!! Hugs to all....Girl Next Door
This set was again created in response to a request which went as follows: "a mix-match set with camisoles in black and white (plain or with lace), with mismatched panties and thongs in pastels, bright colours, lace, or prints. It should be simple and comfortable, but still very feminine."I've done my best to meet the brief (pun intended!) so I hope it's what you had in mind, catpaw87. :-)

There are ten underwear sets and, hard as this was for me, nothing matches! There are five different pairs of panties and each comes with both a black and either a cream or white camisole. All are available for adult and young adult females and use a standard Maxis mesh i.e. they are base game compatible.
Why so many colors?
I get a lot of questions about why I make so many "painted" walls and why I feel the need to make so many variations of the same wall. The answer is really quite simple. I'm a wall-aholic. I get bored very easily and like to change the designs of my houses often. Making as many walls as I do provides me with not having to use the same walls in any one house even if I've re-designed more than once. Why upload them here? I like to share. I went through a period of not uploading every single wall I'd made for myself because there were so many, but then got requests from people to upload them based on what they'd seen in my houses.
I've recently been asked to not share so many of my creations because a certain person grew tired of scrolling through all the walls. To this particular person I'd like to say this:
I will continue to upload every creation I see fit to share. If I can provide at least one person, other than myself, something to add a little more enjoyment to their game, then I feel I've done a good job. If scrolling through my items irritates you, I'm sorry. You're not required to do so. As soon as you see my work, skip to the next page and there you will find new content, but I will not stop sharing with those who do like what I provide on the complaint of "you make too many".
Fellow weather-haters look no further!
With one half of the world freezing cold, and the other boiling hot, I thought it a good time to offer Climate Solutions set for January's free set!
Climate Solutions
A happy new year to everyone!
I'm back
I'm back with a new hair set:) I hope you all enjoy it in your games.Luv the ethnic!
Just uploaded an African dorm. As you might have noticed, I luv Indian and African stuff. You can refurnish it with some items from Bon Voyage, if you have that expansion. I'm working my way up through all expansions, keeping to the content of each. Now that's a challenge! My next project is a Nightlife lot. Check back here within a week!Modernisd Kitchen Bookcase Updated
I have finally been able to fix the Modernish Kitchen Bookcase. It should no longer crash games with OFB only, if it was doing so. Please redownload it if you have downloaded it. Sorry for any inconviences it may have caused. That's it for now!
Happy simming!

Well, the tutorial I talked about some time ago is finally finished. There were times when I almost gave up on it, but now I'm pretty satisfied with the results. I do hope you guys enjoy reading it, so stay tuned to see it published at TSR in the near future :)

...I know many of you have been waiting for the next Andretti Legacy Part. We have a Major Computer problem, and are still trying to fix the problem, and I'm still trying to find all my Sims2 Stuff. I promise I've not given up on the Legacy at all, but am having MAJOR computer problems. Thanks for your concerns and paitience, and have faith and know that I'm trying to get the next part up.
Yee-Hah! On A Western Kick..
You are not going to believe this but I have three western stories (Sim Photo) on the go! As you can tell from my screenshots, I am going crazy! But I am also having a lot of fun! Some of the fun is hunting for appropriate downloads to fit the story, I have found some great ones!
One of my stories takes place at a Fort, which I have built and uploaded here. I did not include the CC, but instruct as to where to download it.
I have always enjoyed the western genre, in print and in movies, and I am so gratified that Hollywood still manages to make a good one every so often. 3:10 to Yuma with Russell Crowe and Christian Bale comes to mind, better than the original.
Also saw a very good oater on Turner Classic Movies Westward the Women 1951 with Robert Taylor about him bringing 100 mail order brides back to California for some lonely ranchers, surprisingly gritty for 1951!! (sounds like a good Sim story!! LOL!)
Also thanks to the great comments for the conclusion of Van Helsing I will answer them all!
Cheers~~Have a good week!
Cashmere
A belated Happy New Year to everyone! My first set of 2008 was made after I received a request to create some re-colours of Liana's gorgeous Mesh 079. I had somehow managed to overlook this mesh so thank you Zelda368 for bringing it to my attention.

There are ten sweaters in this set: two with Argyle pattern, two with a Tibetan feel and six plain. For adults and young adults.
Lakeside Cabins
I'm blown away by how great the lakeside lots in Three Lakes neighbourhood look. Even before you begin to build on them, the reflections of the landscape in the lake are just lovely. I've really enjoyed building the Lakeside Cabin Generations set (the first on of which is on the front page of my minisite). There will be at least four lots in the series - maybe five. Here's the Lakeside Cabin - which I released a few weeks ago:

Here's the Lakeside Log Hut (which is larger than it sounds and also has a useable walkout basement):

And the Lakeside Lodge:

I will also be doing Pebbley versions of both just as I did with the first one in the set. I'll post more pics soon, too.

No More Creations!
I'm having big problems with the submission system at the moment. Basically I can't upload any sets, when I do I get a message saying the set isn't mine & then the system removes every item from that set. It is also happening when I try to edit sets that I have already uploaded. I have sent a support issue on it & am now waiting to hear back, how long that will be....well your guess is as good as mine.So my submitting of creations has come to an end a lot earlier than I thought it would. Hopefully it'll be sorted before my computer gets packed away for the Oman, if not then you won't see any submissions from me until the end of March.
So for the one person that's eagerly awaiting the release of all my Pyjama & Hat sets I'm afraid you're gonna be in for a long wait. I managed to upload the first set & that is released on the 12th Jan, I don't know when I will be able to put the rest up, which really disappoints me as I've spent a long time on them all & can't share them with you.
All I can say is watch this space.
Sally
Thank you for your comments
Hi everyone, I know I have been not around much but my kids are on summer holidays here is South Africa and they are keeping me rather busy.I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has left a comment on one of my creations, I appreciate each and everyone of them and will get around to thanking you all individually as soon as the kiddies are back at school and I have some time for myself again :-)
Till then let me just say thank you and I hope you have had a great start to the new year.
!!!!POLL TIME!!!!
I'm having a bout of insomnia, so I thought I'd make a poll. Please vote on how you'd like me to complete the MH Collection sets.
Currently, all that needs to be done of the remaining sets is for them to be converted for the game (sounds easier than it is).
Alternatively, I have a list of sets I want to complete, including a window companion set to the Pedimentary Doors collection and a Pottery Barn-esque coffee themed kitchen set (trust me, it looks better in my head than it sounds on paper!)
I could go either way really, I'd just like for others to weigh in. =]
Console madness!
Ok so you might notice in my "upcoming" bit down the left there's a NES. But there's more to come! Here's a teaser of my next release... a slightly more recent console from Nintendo!
As you can see it's still early days, and I'm still using a temporary texture for it. Also, the controllers are all I've made so far! They sit next to the Maxis console, so I still have the GameCube itself to make. Nonetheless, watch this space!
On Holiday
I'm on holiday in England and so am not able to upload new creations and I'm going to Africa for a month all February so it won't be possible for me to come up with new stuff till March but then I will be coming up with lots of new stuff as I have a lot of ideas.Learn something new and meet someone different.
Well OK a lot of people have figured it out (what with the avatar and my personal pix) yup I use a wheelchair. I had an accident eons ago and let's just say it left me with a few souvenirs. Here are 2 links that may be interesting to some. Traumatic Brain Injury http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Traumatic_brain_injury I got hit in the head which is what caused everything else. Spines do NOT take a licking and keep on kicking.......Timex they're not. Spinal Cord Injury also known as SCI http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spinal_cord_injury So in a nutshell.......I may not be able to walk or remember what I had for breakfast........but I'm still lovable and it shows cuz I've still got people who love me. :DNew Computer
Well, you haven't seen me in a while. But I have a new pc and I am almost ready with a new set for you. Just wanted to let you know that I'm still working.Slowing down (temporarily!)
I hope everyone had a great holiday season, mine was very busy and fun! Real life is taking over for me right now, so my submissions might slow down for several weeks while I try to catch my breath. I have taken on additional responsibilities at my job which will require extra hours and my son's basketball season has started, which takes up time as well. But I've got several projects in the works and a new one that I've just started. There will be several more installments in the "Bed in a Bag" series and I haven't forgotten about the "Just Color" series, next up is the dining room and kitchen for Just Color Three. And my new project is called "Bel Muro Art Gallery". I do not feel that any room is properly decorated until there's stuff on the wall, so I'm recoloring lots of paintings and will begin publishing those in the coming months. Below is a preview.
January. New York. 68 degrees F, 20C.
I've experienced January thaws before here in beautiful upstate New York, but this is phenomenal. For the second straight day, the thermometer has registered nearly 70 degrees. For all you Celsius fans out there, that's around 20.All the snow has melted away except for a few stubborn little icy chunks here and there in shady spots. It feels like an early April day here and Spring fever is bubbling. So what am I doing sitting inside typing this blog entry???
