Sneak Preview
I'm currently working on a new nursery mesh set, here's a little sneak preview picture of the crib...
It will probably be finished towards the end of the week, as long as everything goes ok since I'm going to attempt to make meshs for a toybox and highchair which I haven't done before.
On Holiday
Well, it's that time of year again - my annual trip overseas to spend the holidays with my family in Canada. Unfortunately I have not had the time I had hoped to get any more creations made - too busy with trip planning, packing and making arrangements but that is not to say that I don't have a ton of inspiration stored up and will eagerly be getting back to publishing again upon my return. Check back for more around the end of the month and in the meantime, enjoy the current selection with the promise of more to come.Wishing you all a very merry, relaxing and safe holiday season!
Sim Beans Christmas Uniforms
This is a Christmas version of my original Sim Beans coffee house uniforms set. As with the first set, there are uniforms for male and female elders, adults, young adults and teens, with matching baseball caps in the four standard hair colours plus a silver version for elders. The caps replace the Sims' usual hairstyles.
The baseball cap meshes come with the base game. The apron meshes come with Open For Business, but it's still possible to use the uniforms for NPCs if you don't have that expansion pack.
I'm still waiting for my new computer to be set up. Hopefully I won't be out of action for too long while it gets up and running and will be back soon with more festive goodies. Merry Christmas!

The Kendra Sports Collection Part 2

Newbies and freebies!
I know - I've been a bit quiet lately. But what a nice relief for you!
Anyway, I've made some decorative-only Highland Crofter Chimneys that are found gracing tiny rural cottages and crofters (I may have just made that up, so don't go ahead believing me!), and a small set of lots to match. All I need now is someone from Scotland to point a finger and say: "but crofters look NOTHING like that!"
From tomorrow, the Brick Plinths set will be free for a month. Yes, I KNOW they're not actually 'plinths' (we've had THAT particular conversation before)...
And my Invisible Driveway is now permanently free - so you can use this in lots without your lot becoming subscriber-only as a result!

Hey Guys, Here are some things i have been working on and have just uploaded. There is a mixture this time around. I tried my hand at creating Lipstick. I think they turned out resonably well. Small Setback
Well, I finally went and got a new graphics card for my computer, and I must say that the graphics in my game are so much more better. I now can see all sorts of things in my game that I hadn't seen before like the fishies in my fish tanks, the fish in the ponds, and the beautiful reflections on the pools. There's a small problem that I had been having though, but I'm hoping that I have resolved it. My computer was crashing to a black screen and the monitor was going into power save mode, and nothing I did made the screen come back up except for hitting the button on the CPU and rebooting. It was only letting me play for about 5 to 10 minutes, and that's when it would go black. Well, I thought that I would look at any updates to the video card, and I found one and downloaded the update and installed it. I was also playing on max settings, which I don't think helped matters. So, after installing the update, I started the game and lowered the graphics settings and it actually let me play for almost two hours. So, I'm hoping everything is fixed, although, it would be nice to play on full graphics settings. I also kept saving in certain spots so that if it did go, I wouldn't lose the progress that my Sim family was making in occupations, relationships, and skills. Cross your fingers for me that I've, indeed, fixed it!!!Dec. 3rd, Asian Inspired Collection Folder

Cheap Shower Set
I've just finished the cheap shower set to match Shannanigan's retro colors. They should be published soon so keep an eye out for them this next week. Thanks to Lily Whyte for requesting these.
I hope to broaden my creativity and recolor either some clothing or maybe some other objects next.
Hair Requests
Hey Guys,Well it's getting to the point now that i am running out of Hair Tones to recolour. So now i think i'm going to start taking any requests. If there is a particular Hair Tone that you have seen somewhere and would like it to be recoloured just sign my Guestbook or send me a PM telling me where it is - and if possible to give me the link. I won't though recolour any "Pay Hair" or ones that i am not allowed to recolour. I want everyone to be able to download them. I'm also not going to do any Hair Tones that i have already done.
I have a couple more Hair Sets coming out within the next week. There are a couple for Females and a couple for Males. Any requests can be for Female or Males - it doesn't bother me.
While i am also on this topic i must apologise to anyone who is trying to download any of my Peggy Sims Hair Tones. Peggy Sims is doing maintenance to their Free Area - so you won't be able to download from there for a short period. Hopefully though they will be back up and running soon.

Christmas Colors Bedding
Now see ... I can do nice things on occasion, LOL! I did enjoy making these bedspreads and they actually work on twin beds, too, which is always difficult to make happen. Here is a preview picture of a single bed (Do ya think I squeezed enough Christmas items into this picture? Lol!)
My computer drives me mad!!
I have every Sims2 expansion and stuff on my computer, but can't play the game without my computer choking. What happens first is that the screen goes blue whilst the time-glass is spinning. Then the screen comes back. After this has happened a few times, the screen turns permanently blue, then black, and by then the game has crashed.If I'm lucky, I get to play for some time before trouble starts. But sometimes it happens as soon as I enter the game. I'm about to get seriously allergic to the color blue...
ARGHHH!!! I got to get me a new and more powerful computer!!

Apology re: German Uniforms
I have been requested once or twice to make SS uniforms, and am getting slightly uncomfortable... I appreciate the needs of historical re-enactors, but at the same time I would ask you to consider why a person would naturally shun a reputation for designing such things. I don't mind doing regular military (even German WW2, if that's what's in demand) but SS is a step too far. Sorry, and all that, but that's one request I will automatically have to decline.Woodcroft - free for one week :-)

Next thing to be published is Dusty rose wall/floor set. I love that pattern and that is the reason why I've made it in so many colours. There are only 2 of the colours left: dusty blue and indigo, and these are going to be my next projects.I have also been working on a lot project. It will be a vacation beach home. I didn't go on vacation this year so I'm trying to create a perfect beach home for our Sims to enjoy.
Pinegrove Outdoor Arena
I know I've been scarce lately - this time of year is always horribly busy for me with preparing for our overseas holiday with my family, then throw in some horrid winter illness and I've not touched the computer much for play or creation. However, I am trying to get a few creations prepped for release while I'm away so hopefully things will pick up soon.
First up, this is a simple community lot I built for my own play neighbourhood ages ago but thought it was more fitting to wait until the winter to share it with others. It contains a large outdoor skating rink out front, surrounded with a mixture of pine trees and benches. The log cabin chalet has a small rustic coffee shop with a fireplace lounge, darts and a karaoke machine. Great little place to take a date for some fun. :) Furthermore, I've made a point to use minimal and all free content so this lot will be available for everyone and all machines. Download will be available this Moday, Dec. 3'07.
Yummy Christmas!
I'm one of those annoying people who can't shut up about Christmas, even in summer. I also love chocolate but unfortunately in real life I have developed an allergic reaction to it over the years. To compensate my loss and since Christmas is approaching, I thought I might as well take advantage of the opportunity and flood the TSR archives with chocolate lots specially made for the Holidays! At the moment real life has caught up on me a little and some exciting things are happening to me at the moment, so i've not been able to create as much as I would like to have in the last couple of weeks, but I will continue.

OMG - 5 Million?
You've got to be kidding me. If you told me when I started submitting things that 5 million of my things would be downloaded, I would have said you were just nuts. I still cannot believe it. Thanks so much to all of you who download, especially those who keep coming back for more every time I think something up. Thanks for commenting and encouraging and keeping me sane in a crazy world. I can only promise to try to do more and do it better as time goes on. Things may slow down a small bit as it takes more time to create meshes from scratch than to recolor those others have made, but I will try to do what I can of both. I really feel privileged to be here and feel that it is a total honor for you to have my creations in your game. Thank you so much. Now I'm going to go dance around the room a bit! Tomorrow may be the day...I've been downloading TONS since we got the Internet back on Monday. So, I'm hoping tomorrow to be able to dive right in and start a story. I've a feeling it will end up being a Forum Story, but I don't know...wherever the creativity takes me tomorrow. I'm not even sure what the story will be about, but I'm so ready to start writing again. I've one story-line in mind, but I'm not sure if I want to stick with that or not.So, keep your eyes peeled for it for sure!

I've been pretty over the last couple of week, and I will probably be busy for another couple of weeks, but I should have some new stuff very soon! I will be finishing up the Simplistic End Table Set, and I will be making a white recolor set of the Modernish Kitchen Set.That's it for now!

Christmas is coming...

Anyway, just wanted to let you all know that I went out of my norm the last couple of days. Mind you, the upcoming Christmas creations are still walls and floors, but I did not use the Studio K Signature colors for these. It just wouldn't have been right.
So, MERRY CHRISTMAS to all! Enjoy the upcoming wallpapers, paint, shag carpet and linoleum.
NEW stuff coming and latest poll results
Thanks to everyone who participated in my last poll regarding large sets of items. Here are the results: I like complete room sets, no matter how many items are in the set 53.89% (104 votes) I prefer smaller sets, big complete room sets are too overwhelming 12.95% (25 votes) I like large sets with lots of items, but I never download the entire set, I just pick and choose the items I like 32.12% (62 votes) I don't download sets 1.04% (2 votes) From now on I won't worry about how many items I put into my sets! And the latest and greatest is that I'm starting a new series! This series is based on the "Bed in a Bag" idea, which you see in many US department stores. These sets will contain textiles for decorating in your bedroom: Bedding, pillows, bedskirt, rug, and curtains. I'm also doing a recolor of the Maxis Medieval bed. There will be LOTS of these sets coming out in the next several months, I'm having a lot of fun making them. Here's a preview:

It is not difficult to see the fact - we had downloaded too much CC:)
I'd love to strongly suggest that we control our downlaod folder less than 5Gb, thus we can have a more smoothly running game. It may be done by the following way:
1. Arrange all CC regularly.
2. Replace the "unneeded" content with the "needed" one termly.
3. Control the amount of high polygon contents.

I never thought I would reach this number of downloads for my humble, few creations. Many thanks to all who did download and comment on my limited talent! My floor and male Sim creations seem popular, so I will try and make more of them in future...My trip is winding down, and I will be back at my own computer the week of December 9th. Will try to have Part 7 of Van Helsing uploaded later that week!
