Pyjama Party Part 3
After I submitted my first Pyjama Party set, someone commented that they would like to see a version with full length pants. I thought that was a great idea, so here it is!
Although this set has some elements in common with the previous two Pyjama Party sets, most of the items are entirely new. There are four styles of full length baggy pyjama bottoms, each with a choice of two different co-ordinating tops.
All items are available for adult and young adult females. You will need a mesh created by Kate at Parsimonious. Go to their meshes page and download mesh_k8parsfapbaggypj031205, which is the far right mesh in the second row.
Select Artist Retro Theme Week
The TSR Select Artists have all been hard at work to create lots, clothing and object for the Retro Theme Week.From my side there is a Retro night club (Club Neutron) and 7 pieces of clothing for girls, teens and adult sims.

Update
I am trying so hard to open my computer repair business lately. I have not had time for Sims 2 or anything else in my life. lol That is not to say I haven't been creating but it very sparingly and only when I have a moment or two. So projects are going very slowly. Hopefully soon I'll have the business open and I can get the projects finished. Some are near completion but need to be tweaked here and there. I can assure you there will be loads of stuff as soon as I get a little spare time. Thanks for waiting!!!!

Back Again

Work in progress - modern wheelchair
This actually was requested by several people, so here you go, I'm working on a new wheelchair :). The chair will not move but simply act as an armchair. Also I had to lower the footrest to fit the sim pose. But other than that I think the wheelchair looks close to the real thing.

Last 4 chapters
Yes, it will end. I have the last four chapters all planned out in my head. (And fingers crossed) hope to have them all done within the next four weeks, maybe a chapter a week. I'm really excited about my ideas and how I plan to surprise you. Yes, there are still some tricks up my sleeves.Heres how they go:

Upcoming Set....
Firstly I just want to apologise for the lack of updates in the last week, I've been really busy this week. I might not have as many updates for about the next two weeks as I'm going to collect a new 65 Gallon Aquarium I bought off eBay tomorrow, only �50 too so I'm really pleased with my bargain! So I will be busy cleaning and setting that up. :D Can't wait to start setting that up and add fish!! :) Anyway back to Sims... my next and first set as a new Select Artist will be available to download from the 10th November. It's a pink and white recolour of my Heart Bedroom. A little preview is below, hope you all like it! :)
Nov. 11th, Prepare To Be Charmed
LOL! The Vintage Charm Bedroom collection is scheduled for publication on November 11th. The set is a mixture of vintage and traditional furniture. The set features multiple prints and textures in shades of blue and white. It is a clean, fresh and charming set a Sim will love, hopefully. The Vintage Charm Bedroom set started out as a small set blending a few new meshes, with recolors of some old favorites and a lost treasure. Occasionally, I will create an object for a set and later realize the object is not quite ready for primetime. The Vintage Charm dresser was originally created for my Victorian Inspired Nursery set. After creating the dresser I promptly forgot it and it sat for months hidden under gigabytes of other junk...er...treasures. So, I dusted off the mesh, created a new texture and added it to the Vintage Charm collection of furniture and furnishings. Yes, a hidden treasure is now revealed. ;-) The dresser requires the Open For Business EP. Hi again everyone...Hope y'all are doin all right today. It's November, nearly my birthday, and it's cold outside!My College classes are keeping me busy, as if the kids didn't give me enough to do. It is with heavy heart that I announce that I will probably not be uploading to TSR for some time. But WAIT! There's more! I *will* however, be uploading to Simaholicsrus.com. Because of my busy schedule, I don't have an hour to upload my recolors to TSR. SRU's format is a little different. You get the whole set, no matter what! none of this picking and choosing stuff, so i don't have to have a pic for every little thing I create. Saves lots of time. As a bonus, the site is FREE. No subscriptions, no registration, no nothing. you show up, you download, you sign the guestbook, you play Sims. Piece O' Cake!

Recoloring

Red Dress
After I submitted my L.B.D. set, someone commented that they would like to see something similar in red. Well, here it is!
This is a set of six glamorous cocktail dresses, similar to the L.B.D. set and using some of the same meshes. All the meshes are Maxis meshes, except for my old favourite ShortBallGown mesh by Chriko at 2-f0r-u.de (page 8 in the female adult fashion meshes section). One mesh requires Nightlife, one requires University, one requires Glamour Life Stuff (I've been dying to recolour this one for ages) and two are base game compatible. There is a range of styles, so something for everyone, I hope!
All the dresses are available for adult and young adult females and are categorised under formal wear.

Log-in as root. Start OnyX and tell it to display hidden files. Finder will restart, wait until Finder has restarted and completely displays before proceeding.

Go into Macintosh HD and find the folder etc and open the file rc.local in text, create this file if it does not already exist.
Add these lines or edit them if you have something similar.
sysctl -w kern.maxfiles=102000
sysctl -w kern.maxfilesperproc=100000
You must set kern.maxfiles 2000 higher than kern.maxfilesperproc.
If you need to have more files open, use a higher number, example:
sysctl -w kern.maxfiles=202000
sysctl -w kern.maxfilesperproc=200000
Save the file to your desktop (uncheck if no extension is provided, use ".txt") then move it into the etc folder.
Return to OnyX and restore the settings to not show hidden files. Restart the computer.

Something new
Here's something new from me for a change. A simple trailer home for your sims. two bedrooms and a bath plus living room and kitchen on a 1x3 tiny lot.
NOTE: Because of the size of the pond fish won't show up but they can still be caught out of it.
New Projects and making meshes
Well, it seems I might have to postpone learning to make meshes for a while. I didn't realize that Milkshape had to be purchases and wasn't shareware. I've downloaded Blender and found a tutorial for it but it seems more complicated to learn than Milkshape so I'm going to try it but may have postpone until i can afford to purchase Milkshape.So in the meantime (and because my Sims needed a bigger home) I've been working on a couple lots. I wanted a home that looked more outwardly realistic that what I normally build which are all simple box type houses (thats why I've never uploaded many lots), so I Googled floorplans and found a site Houseplans.com that has exterior images as well as floor plans for hundreds of different style houses. I printed out a few and have moved my sims into a nice white Adobe which is now awaiting approval here, as well as am working on a Southern Colonial and have a layout printed out for a Sunbelt Style 3 bedroom which I'll be working on soon as well.

Chapter 21: The Apology

Chapter 20: The Lost Son
I uploaded chapter 20. It might seem short and not so in-depth but I think as of now I am only touching lightly on each of the PV characters and their lives while Cassandra was gone. We'll learn more if it goes with the storyline. This is more about Cassandra than any other character.

The TC63 Sanita will be finished and submitted as scheduled and if I have enough time before November kicks off, hopefully finish a request bedroom set as well that I�ve already started. What I�ve done this time is signed myself up for NaNo Writing. I�m not sure whether I could pull it off or not; I haven�t even planned for this. It just � well, sort of happened. I tend to drag my feet when it comes to writing because of plot points, details-details-details, and a gross amount of editing before I get very far, which of course usually means I don�t get very far before I get bogged down by it all. Hopefully, NaNo would give me a much-needed exercise so wish me luck in getting up to my 50,000 words!
And YAY!! on reaching 100,000 downloads! Thanks to everyone who has downloaded my creations. It wouldn't have been possible without you and knowing that a lot of you are enjoying them in your game (hopefully! LOL) definitely makes it all worthwhile!
Bamboo Bay Update
After reading a comment by Tabbylou about there not being an Endtable in the set I decided to add one and you can find it here Bamboo Bay - Endtable it has an extra slot so you can place items on the lower part, also the Collection Files have been updated to include the Endtable so you will need to download the set again Bamboo Bay and just install the new collection files over the old ones.Andrea:)
