A brief apology
I'd just like to make a quick apology here for not updating as much as I should have lately! I was ill at the end of last week, didn't feel up to much, and I took extra hours at work this week to try and make up for the time I'd missed. Anyway, normal service will be resumed as of tomorrow, once my fianc�'s young cousins have left, and I can get working on a project which I hope you will all enjoy! I also have next weekend off, and that following Tuesday and Wednesday, so I will have plenty of items out by Thursday 15th, with some luck!Additional OpenMe doors

Wow! Front page at last!
What a sweet surprise this morning as I settled in, bleary-eyed with coffee mug in hand, to "mission control" (alias my little nook in the living room where my computer lives). There in my guestbook was a message from my buddy Tigerblue, congratulating me on having one of my submissions ( Nightlife Slant Hem Dresses for Elder Females ) featured on TSR's front page!This is a real honor. The best of the best showcase their work here on TSR, and to be granted a place in the same spotlight is a genuine rush. I especially want to thank BlackGarden for her superb tutorial on "How to Extract Sims from Screenshots". I've been having a ball playing around with her technique and Photoshop's special effects, and I love the energy I can get into my previews now with action shots of my Sims.
I'm extremely gratified by the response my recategorization of these Maxis clothing sets has generated. I'm glad that so many of you feel, as I do, that EA/Maxis has really fallen down where elder Sims are concerned. Those of us who've seen more than three decades go by know that life doesn't end with the first gray hair. It really can get better, richer and more fun as time goes by!
Thank you everyone, for your support and encouragement. I do love The Sims and this community is a big reason why.
Maxisland Castle
I finished a castle last night. The immensely talented hatshepsut gave me a great tip to make the bridge look better, so I want to thank her again for making this lot much better than I thought it could be. The lot is still in the upload section, so I appreciate any constructive criticism!

My mini site was down for a while. I had a period of being lazy and non-creative and after some time I've found out that my minisite was canceled. Rightly deserved.I've been more active lately, and plan to continue to create all sorts of stuff for my beloved Sims. So I bought back my minisite with kudos and now we meet again.

Sims Artists Union Site Down!
Hey Guys,Firstly i must apologise for SAU being down. I wasn't aware of this until i logged in this morning to find all the comments about it. They switched hosts the week just gone so it may have something to do with that. I checked on the Wicked Nouk Family of Sites website today which is the hosts of SAU and the site comes up with the same error. So they must be having troubles of some sort.
In the meantime you can either check back there in a couple of days to get any meshes that you require. Or send me a PM or sign my GB with your email address and i will send you the mesh file. I have 2 more hair sets coming out today that need meshes from there also.
Again i am very very sorry for any trouble.

New Sets
The last two sets of wall tiles to match the Vitreo-Brillante floorings are approved and are just waiting to be published. And I've uploaded a new set of backsplash tiles as well as a set of toilet recolors to match the Vitreo-Brillante floors and walls sets.Next project is shower/tubs that match since I have a sort of obsession with matching furnishings...
After that I want to try to branch out and learn to create meshes, I have a tutorial but just haven't worked on it yet.
More hidden shelves added
Again, based on your comments I added five more hidden shelves that sit very low, just above the floor, to be used at the bottom of the endtables etc. The numbers are 1,2,3,3.8,and 4. They will be published tomorrow, Nov 2nd, but they are already included in the Hidden Shelves set zip file. Collection files are also updated. Thanks minsmusic for the suggestion.Welcome to Eden
I have begun a new series of lots. It will be called something like 'Welcome to Eden" ... I'm not dead-set on the name yet, but the lots will have lush landscaping, with an almost tropical feel to them ... or better yet, a swampish feel. I have 4 houses going so far ... and am going in and tweaking, tweaking, and tweaking the lots. There is still much to do, but I should have at least one finished within the week. I am working with some interesting textures by other artists, and I think you will really like them ... the textures are beautiful. And I promise the lots will not be totally shabby ... just a bit old with a crack here and there. Here is a preview of one ....
No new content
Sorry for not uploading for quite some time. I might have some stuff in progress, but time is slim for me at this moment. RL and work are pilling up, and as much as I like work, this is much better. I hope to get some lots up pretty soon, more from that neighborhood which may never be completed. (Too big of a template). I also am creating some Base Game houses which is very fun and hard!500,000 Downloads!

Minisite
Finally, I bought myself a minisite! I hope you enjoy your stay here. I want to thank everybody, who downloaded my stuff, for making this possible. There is not much in yet, however I am determined to add more and more.For some reason, it doesn't show the list and categories of my downloads, but I think the system will update everything. So I will give it a day to see what happens.

Happy Halloween
Due to the amount of time homeschooling my children takes, I haven't had time to really work on anything for the Sims in a while.Today is a "half-day", so I'll take some time to create a few new walls and floors for everyone while the kids watch Garfield Halloween, or something. I may even get the chance to turn the game on and build a house or two! :)

Happy Halloween!! I have finally returned!! & now I'm Mrs Lady Craven.. LOLMy wedding was like a fairytale and it went so quick, it was like a dream. Its hard to believe that I'm married. I just got back from my Honeymoon, I ended up going to Airlie Beach for a week and had an absolute blast!! It was so good to have a break.. :)
With Christmas fast approaching and New Years, I'm thinking about doing some outfits for the holidays. Today, I carved my first pumpkin for Halloween *I'm so proud*.. It was alot harder than I thought and my poor pumpkin ended up looking more retarted than scary..LOL I'm taking my nieces to a Halloween Party tonight and we have all decided to get dressed up.. I'm going as a midnight bat, and my nieces are a ghost, pumpkin and witch.. we all look so funny.

My first eye set will be uploaded soon, but I want to improve them a little bit first.
Most of my hairstyles are from peggy or xmsims. So if you're searching for a hairstyles, I used in a preview, you wil probably find it there.
The blonde ponytail in the preview of the red butterfly bikini is made by me. So it will be uploaded soon, but I have to do some recolours first.

WAC Uniforms
I have been asked, of all things, to make some WW2 uniforms for the US Women's Auxiliary Corps, and having nothing better to do, am now doing so. Expect them shortly. They'll be drab and glamour-free, but at least they'll co-ordinate nicely with the assault course (if nothing else).LEAVING ON A JET PLANE....
I do know when I will be back again though, I am off across this large, great country of Canada to visit family on the east coast. I will be gone from Nov 3-Dec 9th. I have uploaded a number of sets/objects so when I get a chance to get on my parents computer I will move some over to (pending) be put on the site, will also check my guestbook when I can. But the final two chapters (yes, there are eight of them!) of Van Helsing will have to wait until I am back in December. Pray nothing happens to our computer while I am gone! LOL!I do not know if I will be taking a break from storytelling then or not, I will see how I feel. I have a western (Sim photostory) half-finished from the summer, maybe I will finish that, who knows.
Again, thanks for all the support. I have taking up writing again, seriously...for the first time in ages, and it is thanks to all the great support and comments I have rec'd on my little Sim tales, it has given me a confidence in my writing that has been missing for several years.
And fingers crossed for my beloved Boston Red Sox, they made to the World Series (Major League Baseball)and are leading 2-0 (games) as of this writing. WAHOOO!!! THEY WON THE WORLD SERIES!!
I was up half the night watching the celebrations, I was so excited!

New Walls
Now that I've finished uploading all the Vitreo-Brillante flooring I'm going to be working on getting matching wall sets finished and uploaded this week.Bratz skins
Next up is a set of skins based on the Bratz fashion dolls. I am looking at about 10-12 skins in all. Because I want these to be published at once instead of a couple smaller groups, it will take a couple of weeks to complete this set. Previews will be posted.Valentina

To keep everybody updated, In the past I have done alot of work with the base game of Sims 2 and later found conflict with items in my downloads that created crashes and expansion problems. I have repared my download folder of unwanted things and am still restoring my neighborhoods and families, to get them ready for future expansions. In the process of restoring I am finding more homes I have built but never submitted them except to the exchange. A few new homes that will be made available soon are, Smallville Mansion, South Fork Ranch, Dynasty Mansion, and Wayne Manor. These are huge homes that will be coming soon along with a few others. To everyone who have downloaded my homes and enjoyed them I thanks you very much. Keep on the lookouts for more new homes.What I'm Working On!
Hey Guys,Well at the moment i am working on some new clothing for your Sims. I am making them without meshes. I want to see how they go and whether they get many downloads. I currently have a Poll going asking whether or not you prefer to download clothing without meshes or with meshes.
At the moment "No Meshes" is winning so i have decided to try my best with just using Maxis bases for some clothing. I hope you guys like them.

Oct. 30th, Wicked Halloween
A "Wicked Halloween" collection of jack-o-lanterns to celebrate the holiday. The Halloween collection is scheduled for publication on October 30th. The set features 3 new meshes, a jack-o-lantern hanging from a shepherd's crook, a large decorative jack-o-lantern for your yard or porch, and a series of jack-o-lantern signs. Somehow it just worked itself out. I wanted some "Erin" time because work has been out of control! I've started the chapter a couple times already over the last month but it was missing something. It was dull, it didn't have the right momentum, it didn't seem to be going where I wanted it to go. Like I knew where I wanted it to go but couldn't get it there.So I started playing this afternoon and it just worked out right. I've been thinking about it non-stop so perhaps I just finally had the right mind frame to get it together properly.
So chapter 19 is uploading now. It's called the Welcome Committee.

My first tutorial
I'm really excited about my next project. I'm making a tutorial to help people create better previews for their creations. I really think that some previews don't do the creations justice... Hmm... it sounds silly, doesn't it? Well, even if it seems pointless, so far I'm having a blast. Also, this turned out more difficult than I expected since English is not my first language, and that is why it's taking me so long to finish.Take care everyone!

A few more pics - I've just started uploading my new Bon Voyage lots. Hurrah! I started work on these weeks ago and have only just been able to get back to them.Thank you to everyone who has taken part in my poll - I have listened and have tried to provide a variety of homes to suit every budget. I thought the best way to do this would be a generation set of five houses - like I did with the Tudor and Cube generation sets.
The first set will be a set of tropical beach homes - perfect for vacations but also for use as regular homes in neighbourhoods with a coast.
