A Haunting We Will Go!
I have put together some interesting wallcoverings for those of you who are into old, creepy houses. There will be 3 different sets (wallpaper/paneling/siding), for you to choose from. I thought it would be nice to supply a selection of wallcoverings for you so you can decorate your own .... old, haunted dwellings! All of the interior wallcoverings (wallpaper/Paneling) are new .... but you might recognize some of the sidings. I have used a few of them for some of my houses.New house by request
This is a really small lot,only 2x2 and 2 floors 2 bathrooms.prepared for a modern single woman.
Comments
First off, the last poll was a bit of a joke. I couldn't really come up with anything and I generally put up a new poll when I release something new to download. Since most people don't really know me anyway, I didn't figure most people would actually have an opinion on whether they liked me or not. Anyway, here are the final results:Do you like me?
Yes 48.1% (38)
No 2.53% (2)
Maybe so 10.13% (8)
What? 39.24% (31)
I love that many people chose the What? option. That is what I would have done.
Comments:
I LOVE comments. I really, really love comments. Some downloaders have gifted me with some really well thought out comments that have made my entire day when I read them. Don't think comments aren't appreciated by any creator, because they truly are. Comments on items and comments in my guestbook are always welcome and make me happy.
There is some debate, however, on what is the appropriate response to comments. No one wants to be rude or come off as unappreciative to someone who has taken the time to comment on your work. But sometimes there are so many comments, it takes hours to go through and reply to all of them. And then, sometimes comments have been copied and pasted on all items in a set-either due to English not being the commenters first language or just laziness or just to get kudos.
If a comment is sincere, I try to get back to you. Even if it is a copied and pasted comment, I reply back. But I have been slack lately in replying to all my comments, even though I read them all. So, I want your opinion on what is expected of me. Vote! Comment here!
Luscious gown for elder coming soon
I'll submit these this weekend. I'll only show the black one here. I also have a brown one. My model is an elder so that you can see how slim and refined your elders will look.
Twenties Dresses
I'll get back to the Prisoner lots in due time, but for present I am feeling the urge to do more in ladies' clothing... or something along those general lines. At any rate, I have inflicted a few enchancements upon the flapper dress mesh that came with "Sims: Nightlife" (pearls, stockings, gloves, and strapped shoes) and hope to bring out a few dress designs to make the most of these... if the first gets approved, that is.Forum Stories
In case some of you didn't know, I have two stories in the TSR Forums. If you need help as to how to get to them, PM me and I'll reply with a link. You can find The Attic, which is already complete, there.
And you can find A Death's Wish there as well.
A Death's Wish is the one I'm currently working on along side of The Fisher Legacy here at TSR's main site.
Suburban Dream and BV Price Glitch
First off, my apologies for releasing the "Suburban Dream" lot with the Aging Off cheat still active. This actually started out as a bare bones beta testing lot and I didn't want my resident Sims growing out of the age stages I needed them to be. Thanks to Pinecat I now know that the Aging Off code stays with a lot when it gets packaged.I've fixed that little problem and taken care of a couple of other minor tweaks that became evident. The revised lot has been uploaded and you can either redownload or (much easier, especially if you've been playing the lot and have a family living there), just open your cheat window (Shift + CTRL + C) and type in "Aging On" (without quotes). Then press ENTER.
BON VOYAGE PLAYERS may see a few other oddities, as described in my previous entry. Nothing major and nothing that can't be fixed in the game, but BV does seem to wreak a bit of havoc in pre-BV lots. Some other builders have come forth to describe similar incidents. However, the biggest glitch appears to be a substantial increase in the lot price when pre-BV lots are installed in Bon Voyage. The lot will install at the stated price but as soon as you enter the lot, with or without Sims, the price zooms. This may rankle with purists who don't want to use cheats to increase their Sims' funds, and as the value of a Sim lot is figured into a Sim's total assets, this would increase their worth quite a bit. Wish it were that way in real life!
Anyway, I don't know as yet whether this is being addressed by EA/Maxis and will be taken care of with the upcoming patches. I'll post more as I get more information. In the meantime, if anyone has any more problems with my lots, using Bon Voyage or only up to Seasons, let me know, preferably by PM. I'll do whatever I can to fix the problem immediately.
Dinner Parties - Thanksgiving
If you own the Celebrations! SP, you can now enjoy some festive additions to the fancy dining tables, chair and buffet objects. Unfortunately the UV maps for these objects are not very good for patterned textures but after quite a bit of tweaking and fudging, I think I've settled on something that works quite well without looking overly silly - hopefully you agree. :)This first Thanksgiving set features an olive green leaf-patterned base linen cloth with colourful gourds (small pumpkins & squashes) for accent runners and linens and bright orange bows for the chairs. Since Thanksgiving is already upon us this weekend, I've set it to publish tomorrow, Sat., Oct. 6'07.
Now, if I can get my pumpkin pies and potatoe casserole baked this afternoon in preparation for hosting my own family's Thanksgiving dinner, I'll see about making another one or two additional Thanksgiving-themed recolours for this set to release over the weekend. Wish me luck! :P
Hidden Shelves
I thank all of you who welcomed me back! Your comments and well wishes are greatly appreciated! :)Coming next week: one of my weird projects hehe - hidden shelves. I've created a bunch of simple shelves based on an endtable. Each shelf is of different height, starting at about coffee table level and all the way up almost to the ceiling. The shelves are numbered from 5 to 28 for easy handling. The idea is to help you stick objects into unlikely places lol! You place a shelf, put an object on it, then move the shelf with cheat codes if needed, and change its color to glass (for decoration) or invisible (to hide it). This will allow you to place the objects on window sill or piano top for example. This set is similar to my Spacesavers - Dresser Top Shelves one but more versatile. In fact, collection files that come with the new set will include both sets. If later on you decide that you need another shelf, 11.5 perhaps, let me know and I will add it to the set.
What Next?
So, what are my next projects?Well, first I will be releasing a series of Bon Voyage Set 1s. Instead of releasing one set for Bon Voyage recolor sets, I will be breaking these sets up by object types/room types and miscellaneous set.
Following that set, I will be releasing "The Simplistic End Table" Set, featuring a new mesh I created and several recolors.
Along with these, I will be finishing up the Summertime Room Sets. All that is left are the bathroom and entrance sets.
Finally, I will continue to release walls and floors set.
So, you can expect a lot more stuff from me soon!
That's it for now!
Happy simming!
~simmyfan2852~
PS: I may make a new tutorial/article soon ;-)
Sleepy Hollow: Boleyn Manor
Bit of a rambling house. Only 2 bedrooms (good-sized ones), and one bath, but there is room to add on for a growing family. Oh, and there is an attic for those that have been bad! If you happen to be following this series (Sleepy Hollow) .... I am not following any particular guidelines in terms of design. I'm just trying to make the lots suitably old and creepy. Boleyn Manor ...
Exclusive to TSR
Hey Everyone,I've decided I need to simplify my life & I'm starting by only having my creations here at TSR. I love this site & it gives me the ability to modify the information & images at anytime so I have more control over my creations.
I'm want to send a big THANK YOU to Modthesims, InSimentator, Simtation Estates & Simaholics R Us for hosting my creations in the past & I wish them all well in the future.
Love & Hugs to all,

Pedimentary, My Dear! Pt III has been uploaded!
The third part of the Pedimentary, My Dear! Collection has been uploaded and will be available for download on the 6th :)Working Armoire! =D
Well I thought I'd finally be brave and have a go at making a working armoire. I spent all of this afternoon working on it, I think I must be getting the hang of all this meshing thing now as this one worked first time!!! :D I usually end up with something not quite right and then it takes ages for me to fix it! Anyway it's going to be part of a new bedroom set I'm working on, here's a little preview of the armoire I made today...
The first small steps
Real life has decided to interfere with my leisure time this week so I have not been able to develop the site as I would have liked. However I have managed to make a few small changes.I am also getting very close to releasing work from my latest project
Cutters Pass Mountain retreat. This project includes everything you will need for a complete mountain getaway, Lodges, Hotels, shopping centers, Holiday and normal homes and more all with a rustic mountain theme. I am currently in the process of play testing before i finally release....... so watch this space :)
Bunnies set FREE!
I bet they're happy about that! On October, 6th minsmusic's cashcraft nursery will be published. It's exquiste! You must run and get it. I am proud to say she used my Bunny walls in making this fantastic set. She was kind enough to even include the nursery kitchenette for me. Please be sure to thank her and sign her guestbook. She worked hard to make this set perfection. Thanks so much, min. Finally!
Well...finally upgraded to a mini-site. After a few hours of hair-pulling and cursing...it's finally how I want it.Thanks, BlackGarden, Sceeter, Atwa, and Deanna73070 from the forums. Lord knows I needed and continue to need all the help I can get.
I know it isn't much...but, I definitely hope to keep my lots coming and definitely my stories...though I've slacked off on my legacy some. Apologies to my loyal readers.
Well...that's it. It's time for some chocolate...
Ambushed by Bon Voyage
Well anyone with as many things to his name as me ends up having to re-test all his goods and wares in every new expansion pack as it comes out, offer free technical support to all the people who use these things, and generally deal with the influx of a bajillion unrelated help requests.... so has it gone with me since the release of Bon Voyage. I can only thank God I had the wisdom to eschew making mods and hacked objects this time around. Then I was side-tracked by trying to figure out how I might add textures for additional sub-groups in a clothing file... still trying to sort that out, no clear success yet, but I am not aiming for a 255 group mesh, just a bit of whee-ha madness involving 12 layers -- so much for restraint >_<
I will be turning my attention back to my Lost American Highway project and top secret Halloween project... did I say that out loud? drat, I can't keep a secret! Expect some previews of both in the next few days!
Back at Uni
This week my vacation time finished... I'm back on my 4th year of Philosophy... A lot of things awaits, I'm totally petrified that this year I have to start at least thinking of writing my Final Paper to obtain my Master of Philosophy title next year. I want to focus on epistemology - my chosen topic is immagination. How does immagination help us discover the world and is it (or it's not) something really needed to do it right. I shall focus on Kant, of course, as in 'The Critic of Pure Reason' there is a first really comprehensive and complex 'theory of immagination', altogether with Heidegger's works on Kant metaphisics; I'd love to put some historical undestandings of immagination (Plato, Aristotle, Seneca and the Stoics, Descartes, Leibniz) and I think I should finish on Sartre and the existencialism. I'm afraid of including phenomenology (Husserl), because I'm simply not convinced to it, but we shall see... HannahSleepy Hollow: Trembly Cross Manor
This is a big house with many rooms but is on a small lot. I usually use the small lots because medium or large lots really slow down my game. Here are some pix for you.... and I love Cyclonesue's Spiral Stairs!
Diana Windows
This is a new collection of doors and windows that I hope to expand into several sets. Somewhat similar to my Tokyo set except this time the windows are full wall size, top to bottom. They also come with nice lattice style mesh insert. Some windows will have no glass making it possible to use them as patio windows etc. First set includes 8 frame wood colors.
TC Community challanged me- one more Romanza Set
I fell in love with the beautiful TC59 fall textures and tried it on the BbSL Romanza bedroom (with a few dashes of Caravanshop Arcan). A draft picture...
Thanksgiving & Autumn Flag Boosters
I decided to make some additional Thanksgiving and autumn flag recolours, since the original set containing these two themes is barely a handful large. Despite Thanksgiving weekend on the horizon, I managed to get this set rolled up and will be publishing it tomorrow, Wed., Oct. 3'07, so you can hopefully share them with your celebratory Sims over the weekend (assuming you haven't stuffed yourself with turkey until the sleepy chemical puts you to sleep). :P
The autumn flag 'booster' pack boasts an impressive 30 flags - what can I say, autumn is my favourite season! As such, it's going to take a while to upload and will be releasing later next week, Wed., Oct. 10'07.
I'm also hoping to do some more Thanksgiving-themed recolours if time allows tomorrow and throughout the rest of the week - I have some pretty harvest textures that I think would look smashing on some of the Celebrations objects so your Sims can decorate their houses for big family meals. We'll see how it goes. ;)
Medieval Times!
There is a wonderful Renaissance Faire in our area every year, so naturally I now have all these ideas for new Medieval clothing. I just made a new gown, sort of part Fantasy and part Medieval. I'm in the process of making versions of it for our Medieval Grannies and the Medieval kids. Hope you like it! ~ SueHallowe'en!
Well, as you may have guessed from the poll, it being the start of October has got me thinking about Hallowe'en! Thanks to all of you who've given me feedback so far, it's very helpful to give me an idea of which way to go with my Hallowe'en items.Anyway, I'm working on one hair set, and I also have a requested hair set to finish, but basically today I start making Hallowe'en stuff, and I'm hoping to get enough ideas to keep at it for the next 4 weeks. So, if you have any ideas for Hallowe'en items (especially Hallowe'en-y hair), PM me on the forums, leave me a guestbook entry, or comment on this post and let me know about it!
Sleepy Hollow: Kinney Cottage
A rather small home, moderately creepy with 3 bedrooms. Not bad for the location and price. Partial furnished ... but enough vitals to get your Sims going.
Thought I better add a front-on view so you can get a feel for how it really sets on the lot. Main entrance is on the left side of the house.
Story Ratings~~OFF
I have decided to turn the ratings off my stories for awhile, because frankly I am weary of seeing the same users over and over again 'downrate' my stories. Let me explain...downrating is when someone leave a comment like 'thanks for sharing, rah, love it,'then give you a 1 out of 5. I know who you are, I can do the math.I am not mad, or bitter or upset really, (and I hope I don't sound it, LOL! I also hope I do not come across as some petulant child who turned off the ratings because she did not get a grade she liked, frankly, I have been thinking about this for some time)I just want to try posting stories with the ratings off for a bit.
I am rather flummoxed by the whole thing, (downrating, I see it happen to others as well) but hey, that's human nature I suppose.
So the remaining couple of chapters of Van Helsing will have the ratings off, hope this does not offend anyone!
Cheers~~
Bon Voyage
I just bought BV! I've been playing for a day and I do enjoy it. I love going on vacations(seldom do in real life-lol)! The only reason I'm even bringing this up is because I may be a bit less productive for a couple weeks. I have to play until it's not so new, and then I'll do more recolors. I have a couple things to upload once I do the finishing touches on them. An antique base game set recolor and a gothic set recolor for Halloween:)Shape Up In Style Part 3
And the college girls theme continues...This time another set of athletic outfits so the girls can look stylish during those unavoidable trips to the gym.
Each outfit comprises comfy ribbed cotton muscle top and leggings, generously trimmed with contrast stretch lace, worn with co-ordinating training shoes. The outfit comes in 11 colours to suit a range of tastes. For adults and young adults. Standard Maxis mesh. Base game compatible.
BV Bug in Pre-BV Lots?
Someone left a comment for me on my "Suburban Dream" lot saying that her Sims weren't aging. She didn't mention whether or not she has BV installed. The lot was created and packaged before I installed Bon Voyage and only requires EPs up to Seasons. I tested it rather extensively before submitting it. It was also run through the Clean Installer.I downloaded the lot myself from TSR and installed it in my clean testing game, and encountered the same aging problem. Also, a few other weirdnesses popped up:
The chess board and chairs will need to be moved. I used a cheat to get the board and chairs centered in front of the windows, but where my Sims could use them before Bon Voyage they now stamp their feet and can't use one of the chairs. There is also a plant in back of one of the chairs that will have to be moved.
The bed in the master bedroom has some odd texture that I have no idea where it came from. Clicking on it with the design tool immediately returns it to the color it's supposed to be, which is the dark wood.
The teddy bear in the boy's bedroom is turned around. It was placed with the 45 degree angle cheat, but apparently something in BV messed with that, too. Strange, because other objects in this lot placed with that cheat are still at the 45 degree angle and are working fine.
Finally, the lot price when I packaged it in Seasons was $48,703. Installed in BV, the lot price is $57,042! I have no clue as to why this is.
Now that I've got BV installed it's impossible for me to go back and fix these problems and then repackage and reupload, without making the lot require Bon Voyage.
You can fix the aging problem quite easily: Just bring up the cheat window (press Shift, Control and C at the same time) and type in: Aging on. I did this and my Sims resumed normal aging.
The placement problems I described can be fixed simply by repositioning the affected items. The chess board and chairs will no longer be centered in front of the windows, but it's a minor design thing. I like things centered, that's all, which is why I did it.
I can't do anything about the price and I'm clueless as to why that happened. Inflation, I guess. We'll elect Hillary in 2008 and she'll take care of all that. :D
Apologies to all those who've experienced problems with this lot, and please, let me know if you have problems with any of my other lots. So far they were all created and packaged with all the EPs up to and including Seasons, and worked fine.
Archive appeared!
I'm very content of the appearance of an archive. Thank you my dear TSR staff! You're amazing! HannahArchive not visible
Archive with my creations is not visible. I've intervened to the support, but with no result. Profile page was slightly better, at least you could see what I created! I'm completely put down and feel as if I've been simply left behind, with no help whatsoever. Let's see whether it will change this week. HannahWelcome!
After really long time of saving Kudos, I've finally managed to afford a real, almost-like-FA-and-SA Minisite! I'm very proud of it, although I know it should take some time to upload and start working properly on the server. Right now You cannot see archive with my creations, but if you're interested in seeing them, please type what you want to find in 'search' box. Up till now I've created mainly dresses for adult female Sims, some sets of floors and walls and one lot, and they should all appear if You type these names. I hope the minisite will be completed soon and I'll be able to upload new things I have ready for You all! Have a stunning day and happy Simming! HannahHi everyone!
I never thought it would go that fast, but here I am with my brandnew minisite! So, I'm more than happy to welcome you here! :DAs you can see I already started with uploading my stucco collections wich contains 7 different colors. I hope you'll have a lot of fun with them!

MangoSims2 Is Back!
I tried the main site today and it is working! This takes a huge load off my mind and I'm sure it is a relief to all. Enjoy your day!
Funky Pink expanded
On Sep 4, 2007, I have added a matching armoire to the Funky Pink Bedroom. If you have Simaddict99's Atomic Age Add-ons in your game you can now design a complete Funky Pink child and teen bedroom, with single bed, desk, bookcase, and more. Here is TSR Challenge Sim Vera Looney enjoying her new Funky Pink teen room:

If you have downloaded the Funky Pink Bedroom before September 4, you can download the armoire here. If you have downloaded the set after that date, then the armoire is already included.
Have a nice day, Imme
Out with the old, in with the new!
I've taken down the old poll about colours used for decorating after 5 weeks. Many thanks to the 159 people who participated! Here is the final result (for those who are interested):
| What colours do you mostly use when decorating your sims houses? | |
| white | 59.75% |
| brown | 49.69% |
| blue | 47.80% |
| green | 41.51% |
| red | 38.99% |
| black | 38.36% |
| yellow | 27.04% |
| pink | 19.50% |
| purple | 15.09% |
| orange | 10.69% |
The new poll is a bit longish, but I'm hoping that people will participate anyway. It's a question about what kinds of objects you mostly use when decorating certain rooms of your houses. Some are obvious (who doesn't have a bed in the bedroom? *lol*), but some depend on personal preferences (for example, I use either showers or combos in my bathrooms and almost never use a stand-alone tub).
If I've missed any kinds of objects that you regularly use in your houses, please tell me about it either by commenting on this Blog entry or in my guestbook.
Have a nice day, Imme
