I haven't seen (heard/read) from many of you in a long time. My fault. I admit it! Been following up on my 1st passion--singing. I've become a karaoke slut. And I've found a host who caters to my penchant for doing 'kamakazi karaoke'. For those that don't know, kamakazi karaoke is where the host puts in a random song for you... hopefully one you're familiar with...but, not always. That's the fun. Can you pull it off? I'm approaching my 100th kamakazi song. He hasn't tripped me completely. Sometimes takes me a half-verse before I recognize it, though.It's your birthday...go Queenie!
Yeah, it's my birthday, Sept 13. It really don't feel like it since it falls in the middle of the week and I'm busy with school and everything. I guess I'll find time to have some fun this weekend.Hugs to everyone,

Sickness invades/Uploads cease
As usual, I've pushed myself too hard and am now sick. I have Lupus, which when I'm at my worst, it really takes it's toll. I'll still be working on new uploads, but between that and homeschooling the children, it may take some time to get everything up that I've finished.Those of you who had requested items from me... I'll send them to you by the end of the week. After that, I don't know that I'll be taking anymore requests for a while. Sorry pals and gals, I just don't have the energy.
Bunker coming up!
I started on a new job out of town a month ago, and have been busy adjusting. Took the time, though, to re-build a lot I call The Bunker. I got inspired by Grand Designs on TV. I built it in a few different versions, but they got lost due to computer trouble. I think this version turned out great, and I enjoy playing it myself. Hope you will, too! As you wish, dear Simmaniacs, I made next modern w&f set named Moderna 2 - wooden wall panels with galvanized sheet.I think you will like this set as I like it. Wooden floor you can find not attractive, but LOOKS GREAT IN THE GAME (I made it a little bit flat - 'cause of bump-mapping it would be too convex).
More modern walls (some painted and floral, but still modern!) I will submit in this month - I have a few ideas...

I was going to have to amend the upload, although in Bodyshop it does not show them as needing any Packs to use, you need celebration Stuff pack, after i received a query i took a look at its packaging and the Meshes are from there.. Sorry, you will need that stuff pack for the Goth wedding set to work as well as nightlife.I could not amend the file, so i hope this note will help.
Pablo (and computer) Troubles
I've gotten two PMs about my Pablo Living. They said that the recolors for the EC Back, Shelves, and Bookcase aren't showing up. Unfortunately, my RAM has died in my computer. I'm running on a single 512MB stick right now, and I'm afraid to do anything to intensive on the computer (because I'm also scared that the power supply is on its last leg as well).I will do my best to find and fix the problems by next week, but I hate to say that I can't guarantee anything.
College Girls Part 1
The new academic year is about to begin and your Sims need some snazzy new outfits for going off to university...University is probably my favourite expansion pack so far and I like to dress my young adults differently from my adult Sims, so I wanted to create a set which I felt suited college students more so than adults (although these outfits are also available for adults). The set comprises five very different ensembles in shades of brown, white and pink with a bit of an Autumn theme thrown in.
All the outfits use Maxis meshes, although I had to add bumpmaps to three of them (Thanks again, Morague!) The gorgeous tunic mesh requires Open For Business; the mini skirt mesh requires University as that's the version of the mesh I used to create it; the other three meshes came with the original Sims 2 game.
Pink Update!!
Thanks to the wonderful Murano, who told me how to fix the Pink flashing problems for certain graphic cards, I have now updated the Mesh Files for the Torii Gate, Small Lion and the Zen Rocks, so if you are suffering from the Pink!! download the new files...Andrea:)
Colonial Bath Rugs
A few downloaders reported a problem with the file of the "Seasons Colonial Bath rugs". The problem has now been fixed and checked on my desktop. The files are all in the zip, but when downloading it still says it's empty. I'm working on it.Nancy

More internet troubles this past week. I'm still not hooked up at home, and I'm jonesin big time! We get DSL tonight *fingers crossed*, so I'll be back up and running soon.I've been puttering around with some simple formal dress recolors, just because I built a new neighborhood with a "Town Tart" and she needed to dress appropriately :) I have a tiger print and leopard print version of the zebra gown I'll upload shortly. My favorite is the leopard print gown, some of my snootier sims actually own it and wear it proudly!
We've also got BV this week, and we're still playing around with it. I plan on doing some vacation homes, but some of those will be released specifically through SimaholicsRus.com. i will, of course, upload some here, but the cream of the crop I'm reserving for my other favorite site :), so please do check there also, if you are a fan (or even if you're not) of my work. Catherine does some killer meshes (she's really growing in her ability, she amazes me all the time), and I do my best to recolor them :)
I've almost completely dropped out of TC because I just don't have the time anymore. i do encourage anyone/everyone to at least visit - there are some wonderful people there who are very knowledgeable and friently. Atwa is incredibly giving of her time and help to anyone who asks; Momama has infectious charm (she cracks me up!), and Gayle_afcb has energy unlike anyone else I've ever known!! Tlkaska, Immek, Poohbear and others are also wonderful, wonderful people. I'm sure they've grown (especially after the success of TC50 Anniversary Set), but they are a great group nonetheless. *Waves to all TCers* I miss them all very much and hope to get back to it sometime.
That's enough for me, I have to get back to work, and sitting here at a Krystal hotspot banging away on TSR is NOT getting my reports done! kinda makes me wish i didn't eat all those chili cheese fries!

In the Pink!!
I had a comment left today that my Oriental Small Lion was a lovely shade of pink in the downloaders game. This is caused by using the boolprop useshaders true cheat, I know this because I don't have any fish(which I can live without for now) and use this cheat when I want to take snapshots. So if you are playing with this cheat activated then I'm afraid I can do very little about it's affect on certain objects.

Snoopy Nursery Set
I have completed my Snoopy Nursery Set, I had a go at making some of my own objects this time. It was a lot of fun making new objects rather than doing recolours. I made the crib, changing table and the toy. The curtains are a recolour of the curtains I previously made. Here's a preview of the Snoopy Nursery Set, it will be available to download from TSR from the 14th September.
"I am not a number" (or words to that effect)
Fans of the cult TV series "The Prisoner" might like to note two forthcoming projects: the costume of the main character, as worn by Patrick McGoohan, and the "Green Dome" (AKA the Pantheon; home and headquarters of Number Two, and a real-life structure in the North Wales village of Portmeirion). This will be a residential lot, built to accomodate 3-4 sims, and will require expansions up to and including Seasons.NEW Colors!
After much deliberation, I decided to add 8 more colors to the Studio K signature color line. I had thought about this for a really long time (like for almost 6 months), but tried very hard to get it out of my head, as I knew it would only create even more for me to do. The "clearing-of-the-tata" thing didn't succeed.I have to admit, I was getting a little bored with the original 28 colors, and the wall and floor colors were starting to blend into one big blob. I could almost recreate a design in any one of the original 28 with my eyes closed. So, I knew only one thing could cure it: a new challenge. I say this because almost all of the upcoming designs that I will be posting in the future, were already done. By this I mean, designed, uploaded to Homecrafter, packaged, zipped, screenshot, and preview image were totally complete.
I put a lot of work into the upcoming designs. Trust me, even though it's only walls and floors, there are many, many hours into all of it. Just ask my husband. I emerged from my basement just yesterday, to which he stated, "Pardon me ma'am, who are you and why are you in my home?" And later, he stated, "Ma'am, if you happen to see my wife, could you please tell her that I love her, miss her, and wish she would come back."
So, basically what I'm saying is Enjoy the new colors and have an AMAZING day!
Mins Library Set
Made to match my ParkLane Bookcase Blues collection, her coordinating objects are absolutely wonderful. Beautiful renditions of both the Moire fabric and the ParkLane mouldings are used in her library furniture. Pop over to "Just judi" in the FA Discussion forum and post a screenshot of how you used them in your Sims home. I hope to soon see more of Mins creations using my walls and floors. :-)First Blog Entry
Well, I noticed that my page looked a bit bare without this blog thing going.I am going to get ready to do a full Halloween Livingroom recolor (since I don't do meshing). I hope you all enjoy it and download for your own fun.

Appliance recolors here!
I finally became satisfied with my textures for the dishwasher and trash compactor and cheap stove. Maxis doesn't make it easy to recolor their in-game items! I hope you like them. The designer recolors to match the fridges are coming out today and in the next several days. I've also done two other sets of colors - brights and pastels. Those should start coming out in the next couple of weeks.And I haven't forgotten about the Just Color series. My next color scheme will be very neutral, cool, and modern. Which should be a nice complement to the types of furniture and objects that I like, which are decidedly NOT modern! I'm already starting to work on objects and I hope to get some preview pics up soon.

Fireplaces out on 13th September...
Of COURSE you've been waiting! In fact, WOE BETIDE anyone who hasn't been waiting!!! Those fireplaces have now been lifted from the rotten pile of absolute crud bulging the seams of my hard drives, and is now due for release next Thursday (13th September).A few notes on what to expect (otherwise known as 'lame excuses')...
(1) Where they will be found: Under Appliances/Miscellaneous (for fireplaces to appear in the build catalog, they would need specialist script installation, which is a total bore when you just wanna play).
(2) Larger fireplaces: Unfortunately, adding grid tiles to fireplaces doesn't seem to work. Any fire larger than 2 x 1 is still treated by Sims as 2 x 1 tiles, meaning they can clip through the brickwork if the fire is larger than 2 x 1. The solution is simple: just hide a small object inside each end of the fireplace or otherwise obstruct the floor tiles from irritating Sims who just love to stand in brickwork! You can also use Dr Pixel's wonderful DO NOT ENTER cones specifically designed for this purpose.
(3) The Tavern fireplace needs that window! I've also included a window in the set. This is for the double-fronted Tavern fireplace (to create a hole for the fire).
(4) Matching wallpapers have been included! Two of them to be exact - totally seamless in all directions.
(5) A bit of cheating! The chimney pieces would ideally like to sit on floor tiles. As you can see in my piccies below, I've used the 'moveobjects' cheat to place the pieces on each floor level. You might also need to use this cheat to place any chimny piece in the pitched roof space.

Updates...
After a good month, I finally got my notebook back with a brand new motherboard. As you can see, I'm trying to catch up: I made some meshes during the last month and now I'm publishing quite a lot of things. The latest set, of which I'm quite proud, is a set of outdoor lamps in modern style. I've enjoyed so much making these lamps that I've made the widest set of recolours, at least in my habit, and yet I think they are very different one from the other. I've also made a spiral staircase, but I'm not satisfied with it yet and I'm still fixing some things in the package. The staircase is, in fact, two stairs: one winding left and the other winding right, with some wooden and marble recolours to complete the set. Anyway, I think it will be ready for publishing in few days.
Cryobed Mark II
After far too long a wait, my Cryobed Mark II is finally finished. A great big thank you! to everyone on both TSR and MTS2 who helped me to modify the functionality of the vampire coffin from Nightlife to get the effects I wanted with the Cryobed. This bed, unlike the original, includes a functional lid, and also has a fog effect when characters open the lid to get out. Vampire occupants also get the traditional crash of thunder, bat squeaks, and howling sounds when entering and exiting this fine piece of ultra-modern scientific hardware.

The second part of my Shape Up In Style set comprises two further styles of fitness wear, this time with a floral theme. Each outfit consists of muscle top, lycra shorts and coordinating training shoes and there are eight feminine colour combinations.
So there are eight outfits in total, each available for adult and young adult females. All outfits use a standard Maxis mesh and are base game compatible.
The joy of discovering a new EP
Don't you love that? Opening the box, looking in a hurry at the pictures on it, and then, install all fast as you can ;) That's the way I do it :) And then, opening a neigborhood, and a lot, and start exploring the different catalogs!! All excited for what you can find :D With this new EP, I was most impressed by the new trees and the roofs. I just couldn't resist building a house right away on those special sea lots! It's so fun to see the sims go for a swim in the sea. This is it, my first BV house!

The Lost American Highway
As the interstate system grew towards completion a vast network of US Routes fell into obscurity, routes that had been the arterial system of commerce and tourism for almost 70 years were suddenly forgotten. If you travel along these formerly busy back-roads you will find life continues. You see relics of a grander and sometimes gaudier past. A generation of Americans travelled these forgotten ways, the great dust bowl, the great depression, the mobilisation for a second world war, all here, all now a bit over-grown and over-looked as Americans hurtle past at 70 or more miles per hour on a four lane super highway with no need to stop and get directions or spend the night.
Route 66 is perhaps the most well known of these Lost American Highways, but by no means the only one. I hope to take you on a tour of the forgotten America that you still find today along US Routes 1, 3, 52, 60, and 66. There are a fair amount of ghost towns, ghost stories, abandoned buildings, abandoned mines, hot dog, hamburger, and doughnut shaped buildings, tourist traps, gyp joints, greasy spoons, mom & pop motels, and enough Americana to fill ten life times.
Let's for a minute pretend it is 1934 and we don't have to hurry so much; because it seems to me the tighter we clutch time, the less we have. So, slow down, take in the sights, and enjoy things a little more.
Female elder undies altered
I had to alter my Peek-a-Boo Circle undies for the Elders only. The ones for Adult and Young Adult will remain the same. The problem was that the elder females had part of their breast showing at the bottom of the bra. I had to come up with a way to add more fabric while keeping the basic shape and style. Here is a picture, I hope you like them.
I'll try to finish the other files and have them uploaded this weekend.

Vacation
I'll be on vacation from Saturday, Sept. 8th at 2:30am to Sat., Sept., 15th. I will be bringing my laptop but I don't think I'll be online much. I plan on writing future chapters and sorting out what I want to do. Maybe Cassandra need to go on vacation? The Orient? Camping? Hmmm... I'm going to be staying in a house on lake in North Carolina.See you all in a week!
