I finally did it!

After much hemming and hawing I took the plunge and purchased a mini-site here at TSR...I just got back yesterday from an exhaustive car-trip across half of Canada, I was gone the whole month of August visiting family and friends in the Canadian province of Nova Scotia 'Canada's Ocean Playground' and my former home. Had a great time, only rained a few times the whole month we were there, also got to the beach and rec'd my sunburn of the season! Ouch!
Please bear with me as I feel my way around this mini-site concept..I will be putting the finishing touches on my latest story 'The Van Helsing Chronicles' and posting it very soon! Also working on more floors, walls, paintings, etc.

And lastly, to TSR and all the great people I have met here...I am home...Cheers!

First Mesh Completed!

Finally finished my first ever mesh, some curtains! It's taken me a few days to get it right and recolour it but I'm pleased with the end result since it's my first one I've made. :) Please let me know what you think of it!

Just uploaded some new walls; Half Tile Half Solid (told you I would upload new tiles!), quite a few actually. A total of 52!.
Remember it usually takes about 4 days for approval so look for the walls around Thursday. Enjoy!

Homes

I love to create and build homes. My current project at the moement is I am in the process of building 5 new homes. Three of them are already completed and once the other two are done, I will bring them all here. I am up to the expansion pack Seasons. I also reformated alot of other homes I have created in the past. Another project I am doing is reconstructing my Halliwell Manor to accomidate all expansions. The lot will be on smoother lot which also will include a greenhouse and fruit trees, with a pool in the back yard as well as basement, a huge working driveway. Please stay tuned for more info.

New Undies for elder females

These are the new bra and panty sets that I'm working on. I just need to finish getting the files together before uploading them. I've received several request for more elder and children's clothing. This was the reasoning for the poll. I wanted to know if this was the consistences. There will be adult, young adult, and elder versions. These are the elders. *Note, all of the models in this picture are elders.

Chapter 17 - Uploaded

It's true. I uploaded two chapters in one day. I feel so accomplished. So I think I worked out all the answers except one but I will address that later. I'm really nervous to hear what everyone will think about my explanantion of Bella's disappearence. I thought it was clever but who knows I'm sure some might think it's stupid or think wow, I read this far along for this? Boo hiss.

Yeah, the anticipation will be high.

I'm thinking there will be atleast another 3 chapters and some kind of Epilogue of the characters. That's always fun.

Angels Galore

This set has 8 portraits to choose from. Different artists/different styles. Personally, I like angels very much ....so I decided to put a small collection together. I did a search here at TSR ... and there weren't very many angel paintings available ... so I thought I would add a few for angel-lovers!!! Quality of paintings are better in-game than shown in preview pix ...

Hey Guys, Here are the next items i have been working on - which are now also awaiting approval. They are all for your Adult Sims as according to my poll everyone downloads Adult Stuff mostly. But it doesn't mean that you won't see any Teen stuff from me, occasionally i will upload Teen Stuff. I even might have a go at Men's clothing and see how i go there. Hope you guys like these....

New Cybermen

HELP WANTED: CYBER HELMETS

My first blog entry, and I know exactly what to say... A you might have worked out, my current fascination is designing a new Cyberman skintone (I did make an old one, but it was the first thing I ever did in Body Shop, and my lack of skill at the time I made it really shows...). The new one has photorealistic textures and design elements from early sixties cybermen as well as the ones in the new series. Unfortunately, what it does not have is the characteristic helmet, and the thinking caps can only do so much (The light bulb is great, but the colour is all wrong, and they can't wear it 24 / 7 in any case)...

Now, if anyone could advise me how to take the earmuff meshes (which cames with Seasons) out of Body Shop, then I could make helmets to match this skintone. I can't seem to do this myself, so I expect that it requires some sort of hack. Especially if the hair is to be avaiable as an everyday option as well as outerwear (which is all the mesh is normally set for). If anyone can help, please PM me or email [email protected]. Chapter 16: Uploaded

I finally uploaded chapter 16. I am also working out 17 and soon 18. So expect 2-3 chapters this week. Wow, I know! I'll be vacation from the 8th to the 16th but will be writing my story out so it'll be ready to be played out. I so want this story to be over!

Downtown Lots

This week I'm working on some Downtown lots. On the To Do list are a park, plaza, and something on one of the beachy lots. Previews will be posted as I complete each lot.

Lot 30 -- Central Park
Ok...so it's not really central. But it is a park.



Lot 28 -- The Pier
Want to go to the beach, but can't afford a trip to Vacation Island. Then come Downtown and visit us at The Pier.



Lot 27 -- The Plaza
Like going to the mall, but hate the stuffy atmosphere?! Just go for a stroll through The Plaza. Plenty of shopping, eating, and activities to keep everyone happy.

Free Set , Spring Theme

Katcat and I have teamed up. Pick up my SpringTheme wall set, its free all of September, then head over to Katcat's to pick up some amazing matching furniture. She's done all the hard work, so be sure to leave her some nice comments.

Meshing Newbie

I've been spending the last few days having a go at meshing objects for Sims, never tried it before so it's all new to me. Once I've got the hang of it I'll probably start posting them up on here for you guys to download. So far I've made a simple set of curtains and a Snoopy figure which I will probably turn into a full set with a Snoopy theme for a bedroom or nursery.

Backlogged Flag Sets

With starting back to work in August and so much needing to be done with that, a lot of my personal time was lost to recouperating from long and exhausting days. Classes have finally started this past week and we've met our new students for the year so things should hopefully settle down soon. So, I've been trying to get back on track again before Bon Voyage comes out later this week and I invariably become obsessed with playing the game (much like everyone else). :D

So, here are the business flags I had meant to post last month. I ended up splitting them into two sets - one with messages, such as 'open' and 'sale' (releases Tues., Sept. 4'07) and another with business concepts to advertise restaurants, salons, craftable shops, etc. (releases Thurs., Sept. 6'07).

I was also planning on releasing a country/rustic flag set in August but I've decided to hold off on that one for the time being. I'm thinking I'll release it and a maritime flag set later in September, so that you can better decorate your BV log homes and beachfront properties with them so stay tuned for those shortly.

First blog

Well, it's certainly been an interesting year.
For a few months, I could not do anything in the Sims 2, because my computer had been "downgraded". But, I'm back in business!
I have decided to launch a minisite. At the moment, it's not very extensive. Most of my work is really just in architecture, walls, and floors. I'm still working on it.
I have a few lots, or "lot ideas" in the works, as well as new floors and walls.
A while back, I had tried to use SimPE for recoloring, however, I had problems with the program, so that never worked out. I'll be trying again soon, to see if it works.
I guess that's it for the first blog. I'll try to keep things updated!

Royal Jewels!

A set I've been working on called Royal Jewels, this one in Pink Sapphire for girls. I will be doing a Sapphire recolor set for boys and an Emerald recolor set for a more neutral selection. I am considering making a baby version of this set with crib, changing table, toy box and potty chair with a few accessories. MangoSims2

MangoSims2 seems to be offline now as well. Not sure what to do about this one. I have several of their plant meshes throughout some of my other sets. The Mango Aloa Bedroom meshes mostly all come from there. I don't even have a way to begin to hunt down all the items affected. But if you see get the mesh at MangoSims2 then you will know this item is probably not going to be available. I'm trying to find a way to contact them to find out what can be done, but like with Sims2Luxe, this is something totally out of my hands. I'll keep you posted with any new news aquired.

MiniSite Joy!

I have to admit my Sims designing/creating has taking a dramatic nose dive since I got super addicted to playing again.
I promise with a new Mini Site there will be a new Bubbleberri. I will make sure that I will at least attempt to create new goodies to share.

Hello, I am so excited that I actually have a minisite now I wanted one for ever lol today I just found out I have just got alot of kudos lol so thats cool at first I thought maybe I was a new FA, but having a minisite is good enough :]

I'm quite pleased to get my own minisite today. :) I'll wait patiently until my creations are placed on here. I'm not sure how long that will take. This will be interesting and fun!

Signs of the Forgotten Highway

or maybe a better title, Signs of the Forgotten GUID Update.

Elven_Ranger alerted me to a problem with the recolours for the Signs of the Forgotten Highway, I checked and these had the wrong GUID, I have uploaded corrected versions of the recolours. I am terribly sorry for the inconvenience, bit of egg on my tie for my first FA upload *blush*

Just re-download the items and allow them new files to over-write the old ones.

TS1 New Vacant Community Lots

To complement the vacant residential lots I also created a limited set of 15 vacant community lots, to be published on Saturday.

These followed a similar approach to the residential ones, and I added complete pavements beside the roads, and relocated the bins and phones. I did not simply modify the same lots set as community in the default game, I chose to work on the lots in the centre of Old Town, to replicate a small town centre.

If you would like to use these I suggest that you make a new n'hood and import all of my residential lots into it. Then import whichever of the community lots you choose to make your own Old Town.

Please remember that you are welcome to build lots on these and submit them to TSR, but please do not upload them anywhere else.

Hey Guys,

Well as you may have noticed the next project i have been working on was a Lot for your Sims. As well as creating clothes for your Sims i enjoy creating lots - but i have to be in the right mood. I met Wolfsim68 last week and she inspired me to create some of my own lots again. You should check out her lots - they are incredible. She has just released some TV Show homes e.g. The Brady Bunch etc. They are incredible.

I was lucky enough to find out that she only lives 10 minutes away from me so i went to visit her. She showed me what she was working on and i got to see her neighborhood with all her lots in. It was definately an awesome experience.

Anyway i hope you like my newest creation. Thanks to the TSRAA members whose creations i used in my game. Look out for a couple more lots from me in the next week or so.

Writing Ch. 16

I've been working on chapter 16. I've actually written it twice, starting playing it out too. It's hard. I really am having a difficult time with this chapter. I mean this is the chapter we find out but do I answer everything at once or do I spread it out in a couple of chapters?

My first attempt was boring. Cassandra and Bella fighting and finally Bella answering the questions. I found it dull. There had to be a better way to start getting answers but leave you all wanting more at the end of the chapter. Then I realized there is so much we don't know about Bella so I would like to explore that. Maybe even Mortimer. What were they like when they were younger and how did that help get them where they are now?

I know people love this story - thanks for telling me so! It really makes me feel good to know my writing is appreciated. Especially because I feel like such a novice. It's almost like trying to learn to walk and everyone's encouragement has been SO motivating. I can not express how much it means to me.

Hey! How are you? Don't know why i'm writing that, you can't answer!Anywho, welcome to my minisite. I will try to update as much as I can, but school prevents me from even getting on the computer most of the time. But, i'll try!

Here is a list of what I am currently woking on:
-Lips (playing around with different techniques, so it may take me a while)
-Beauty Spots (actualy it's all done, i'm just lacking in the preview department)
-eyelashes (not started yet though)
-hair mesh (fixing a problem, procrastinating on that)
-body mesh (same as above)
-eyes (started, but working on perfecting it)

School has started, and am taking 2 online courses. So it may take me a while to get things finished and uploded

New Poll

I have a new poll, actually my first poll. YAY!

"What would you like me to create next?" I'm asking this because I want to know what you, the downloaders, would like to see. Once I close the poll I will open another asking what you want to see out of the category that had the most votes. Hope that made sense. For example, if the catgegory that has the most votes is Make Up, then the options in the new poll would be lipstick, eyelashes, ect. Then once I find my answer, I will create! Simple? I hope. . .

Some random thoughts after becoming a Featured Artist

My older uploads

I will be placing all of my older items into the free rotation permanently, it takes a bit of doing tracking down all the item numbers and making the change, so be patient and it will all get done as I have the time to devote to it.

Perhaps, some of you will think I should move all of my work here. That just isn't possible due to licensing agreements with the persons who allowed me free use of a texture or mesh part. Others were group projects and therefore not exclusively mine, or not mine at all as is the case of the bodybuilder. I may have worked with Marvine on the bodybuilders, but I never have considered them mine in any fashion; so those meshes will continue to be hosted on sites of Marvine's choosing.

My new uploads

With the exception of the upcoming Catch of the Day set, the new items you see by me on TSR will be exclusive to TSR. The Catch of the Day set was submitted before I accepted the invitation to become an FA, so it is a bit of a hiccup. I will be moving it to free as soon as it becomes available.

I have some exciting ideas for new content for the game, and now that I can work with some of the artists whose work I have so greatly enjoyed, I look forward to a sort of personal renaissance as an artist in the TSR community.

PS: And no, there is nothing bad between me and any other site I habit. All that has happened is that I have added TSR at the top of the list; the reasons for this are pretty straight forward: I really want to have the opportunity to work with many of the established artists on TSR. I will continue to work with Marvine and others on the projects I already have started; but this is an opportunity for me as an artist to work with so many of the people who have made the content I use in my game.

The people who have been my friends in this community can continue to count me a friend. There are still enough pixels on my heart's screen for all of my friends to fit in my heart.

Hello Kitty Nursery

I'm currently working on a pink recolour of my Hello Kitty Nursery set, the blue version of this will be available to download from the 2nd September (see picture below). I'm hoping that the pink version will be available to download sometime next week once I have completed it.

TS1 New Vacant Residential Lots

Its been a long and busy summer, and while I've been away my Replacement Residential Lots have been uploaded to the site. I made these some years ago, and only recently realised that I could share them with the Sims 1 community here.

When I first played TS1 I wanted to build houses, and became frustrated that I kept having to remove the previous house and landscaping. I was also disappointed that the layout of the lots in lot view didn't quite match up with the NHood view. I recreated all 41 lots in Old Town as residential lots, demolished the houses and tidied up the land.

I then changed the size of the lots, added fences, trees, and water where shown in NHood view, and relaid the roads to match the NHood view. I even moved the mailbox and path of some lots so that they faced the correct road (according to the house address)!

These are all now available for download, so you can create a blank neighbourhood, install the lots, and start building your own houses on them. Let me know how you get on with them! I'm very happy for you to upload houses you build on these lots to TSR, but nowhere else, please.
