Regarding "The Rock" Modern Home
I am afraid that I decided to put the last home in my series in a very long hold... seems like my game got annoyed with it, or maybe I ran out of patience... But as I was making good progress on the lot... I committed a very serious error.......................... and, well... I decided to stop it for a while...In the meantime, I am making some houses of a different genre similar to my "Elizabeth" home just to remove the frustration... *sigh*...
Birthday
OK, so today is my birthday. I try to keep them in perspective by telling myself that birthdays are actually just the number of planetary cycles that have happened since I was born. It doesn't really mean anything. Right? I think I need to post a poll about it.I cannot believe how many people HATE Harry Potter. What is up with that? I am not a sheep and I resisted reading them for a long time. Then I got talked into reading the first one by my sister-in-law. I got hooked. Sometimes (not often, though) people actually can recoginize something good. This is one of those sometimes.
Beforehand apologies!!
hey guys!As the title says I'd like to apologize beforehand for something funny I've done. The apology is because when I was making Serenity dolls' previews, I accidently typed 'Serenty' instead of 'Serenity'. After making the previews and saving them, I realized what a big mess I'd made, but I liked the previews so much and didn't want to redo all of them. So please just pretend it's SERENITY!
thankyou

Belle Briar Cottage
Excellent cottage for a growing family. 3 bedrooms plus room to add on if needed. On this lot, I did not leave room for a driveway. I know I usually do ... but I started building and by the time I remembered to place the driveway ... it was too late. I would have had to tear down half the house. Sorry! And one last thing ... the exterior walls texture matches Farmer Thompson's Wall in the Seasons EP. I know in the photos the wall texture appears not to match ... but in the game ... it is right on. Pix for you ...
And I am still working on that large community lot for Bannoch Village ... maybe by this weekend I will have it complete and ready for upload ...
1,000,000+ and counting...
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! I absolutely adore all of you, your kind comments, and the fact that you like my creations enough to download them! Have fun with them and have an absolutely AMAZING day!Resized Diver Sculptures
Right. So you might remember that about a month ago, we had a marine and nautical theme week going. Well, I had every intention of participating, as I normally do with theme weeks - I had tons of ideas and even started a few projects. Unfortunately, these projects ground to a halt when they suddenly seemed to start boycotting my editing work and I was forced to set them aside. I've only just now come back to them and finally wrangled them into submission. So, if you still have the urge to build wonderful nautical themed lots or decorate your Sims' homes with curious marine stuff, here is a set of diver sculptures resized from the original giant OFB versions; a Sim-sized and desktop-sized version is included, plus three recolours and all base game compatible. Publish date is set to this coming Friday, Aug. 3'07.
NOTE: In an effort to cut down on file bloatage, I have made the small version a texture slave file to the medium version - you will absolutely need the medium-sized version in order for the small one to work properly.
More new stuff coming soon!
Today I have submitted The Summertime Living Room Set and Metal Bedframe Set!Also, tomorrow the Modern End Table Set will be published.
I plan on beginning work soon on the Summertime Bedroom Set, Summertime Entrance Set, and another end table set (just a recolor set this time).
Within the next few days, I will begin work on my ninth episode of Extreme Sim Homemakeover! Let's just say the ninth episode is going to be a lot different then the previous episodes :). I also submitted the second part of Episode 8 today, so it should be published tomorrow.
That's it for now!
Happy simming!

Bathroom weirdness
Just wanted to explain a bit about the bathroom I'm releasing. I wanted to do something of Sunair's because I never had and chose the Hexagon bathroom. I have these colorful tiles that I've been trying to use forever and they sort of looked acceptable with it, so I asked the ladies in the TC forum what they thought. Half of them loved the tiles and half of them hated them. So I did another wall and floor and thought that was still a bit too busy. But some people liked it. Then I did another wall and a couple more floors and other people liked that. The end result is that I couldn't make a decision as often happens with me, so there will be all these different looks possible with this bathroom. I'd also like to see any examples anyone might come up with where these tiles look like they really belong there. I like them by themselves but still haven't found anything I'm totally happy with using them with. So if you come up with something, please let me know. Or if you're one of the ones who hate them, then you can skip those and get the others. Either way, there should be something for everyone. Hope you like it!Away for a few weeks!
Hi all,I have received some bad news about my Father and I have to return home for a little while until thing settle down again. I'm hoping to return back to my place for the weekend so I will be able to upload the rest of the Eliabeth Rose Bridal Collection. But I cant make any promises.

I'm On Vacation...
As of Thursday I am saying 'Bon Voyage' to Australia and heading to the USA on holidays for 3 weeks but don't worry, I have plenty of new stuff ready for upload over the next few days including eyeshadows, eye colours, lipsticks and even some paintings! Watch this space!!!Stephen King - On Writing
I've been reading "On Writing" by Stephen King. The first half is more of an autobiography but the second half that I just began is about the style of writing. See I always loved to write when I was litte, probably til I was 14. But somewhere I got this idea that I was not any good and just continued to read A LOT. I found that I was good in art and focused my attention there. Mind you, I didn't own a computer til I was in my senior year, took out a loan and bought it myself.Anyways I noticed as per Stephen King I've been doing things wrong. Well next chapter I'll improve upon that. And also through all your kind support and comments, I'm playing with the idea of working on a novel. Not on Bella and Cassandra though! That would be funny, and I'm sure Maxis own the rights to all those characters. Plus I am sure any person who does not play Sims would never understand.

Aug. 5th, Victorian and Traditional Curtains
Curtains, Curtains, and more Curtains! A set of curtain recolors is set for publication on August 5th. The set features recolors of my "Roselynde" 1-tile wall curtain, which is a 1-tile version of my "Once Upon A Time" 2-tile nursery curtain. Included in the set are recolors of all 3 OUAT curtains, and 3 new Victorian inspired curtains. In addition, the sheers and fabrics of the curtains are all mix and match!
Aug. 1st, Roselynde
You are cordially invited to dinner! August 1st is the publication date for my "Roselynde" dining room set. The set features warm wood tone furniture, fabrics in shades of rose and pink and several new decorative pieces. The sets 2-tile dining room table is the perfect size for intimate dinners, small social gatherings and family meals. A finishing touch for the dining table is a decorative centerpiece--a vase of roses, salt and pepper shakers, a small tray and two candlesticks. The centerpiece will not interfere with your Sims ability to serve and/or enjoy their meals.
Challenge Canceled
The 'Flip This House' challenge from the previous post is canceled, due to lack of interest. I will work something out and notify the 2 interested people (by PM) shortly...Chapter 15: The Fake Bella - Uploaded

Survey & News
Thanks to all who voted on the Community Lot survey. I am currently working on a larger community lot for Bannoch Village (more shopping selection) and it is going to take me a while to put it together ... but it will be done!!Also, I just wanted to mention that my upcoming Harper Quine lots have a 'new' animated ladder (by Marvine at MTS2) in them. Fantastic! Your Sims will actually climb the ladder rung-by-rung. The animation is so real and fun to watch! Marvine granted me permission to use her ladder in my lots and I can't tell you how delighted I am.
I hope you enjoy her ladder as much as I do!!
Harper Quine's Cottage
No this is not a Bannoch Village cottage. I felt the need to work with some different textures .... and so this little cottage is the result. There are 2 different lots, one furnished and one unfurnished. If you have been using any of my cottages ... you most likely have all the deco shown to fit this cottage out anyway, so if you are concerned with file size, the unfurnished lot will be good for you. Note: I pulled these 2 lots to change 2 things ... 1) I added Marvine's (MTS2) "Ladder with Custom Animation", it is absolutely fabulous!!! The Sims actually climbs it rung-by-rung. Marvine was kind enough to allow me to use her ladder in my lots ... and I can't thank her enough! Wait till you see it in action! Very cool! 2) I wasn't happy with the flooring in the 'shed' so I added a couple of new flooring tiles (with dirt on them) to make it look more .... hmm ... rustic??.... Here are some pix of the furnished model with some notes:
I borrowed the name for this cottage from a medieval murder mystery I read this summer, "The Harper's Quine". I liked the name ... and thought it would be a good one for a cottage. The book was excellent by the way ...
There are actually 2 fireplaces here. I used Mia86's 'Fireplace with no Chimney' and using the 'moveobjects on' cheat, I placed Jasmine's large stone fireplace over it. It is functional and it might need a smoke alarm placed in the room. Not sure on this.
Now doesn't the flooring look better, lol!
Small Hiatus
Due to some real life happenings I was obviously not on TSR for over a week. I will *hopefully* be getting back into the swing of things shortly. Thanks to those who left me guestbook messages about being featured on the front page. I missed that. Ah well. I'd have taken a screenshot for my scrapbook if I'd seen it!
My next lot
I have decided to put my lot, "The Rock" Modern Home, into a pause for a while to try out a new type of home... this time... here is a sneak peek...
Hooooooooidaaaays are here!
Just a little note to let you all know that I will be away for the next 2 weeks for a well deserved break! me and the family are off to Longleat. I shall try to refrain from feeding my children (okay they are 15 & 10) to the resident lions & tigers!I have quite a few ideas bussing around my head and i have been furiously collecting all manner of images ready to embark on several recolour sets.. If the hubster doesnt complain too much and "Get OFF that darn laptop WILL YOU!!" and "Are you simming AGAIN?!" sheesh! anyone would think we were on holiday to do... other stuff!
So I bid you farewell for the next 2 weeks.. and hubby permitting, have a mad upload spree when I get back with loads of fab new sets!
In the meantime.. I found this fab picture lurking on my hard drive, and it instantly reminded me of my beloved Zakk....LOL!
Kitchen 06
Features a solid painted wall with a tile backsplash for those who are a little overzealous with their cooking. Kitchen 06 in Aqua Blue:
and Kitchen 06 in Dark Sand:
Enjoy! and have an AMAZING day!
Modern Staircases again
Since my Modern Staircase has been so popular, I've thought of making some more recolours: four classic wooden colours and a couple of marble textures that I found quite original. While making these recolours I also noticed that the railings weren't mapped well (some textures looked blurry on them). So I took the chance to update the mesh too and do some smoothing to make it look more sharp. The old recolours work also with the new mesh, and I think they look much better. If you download the improved mesh, simply overwrite the old file.
SummerTime and the Livin' is Easy
Come visit "Just judi" in the FA discussion forum. You'll see my newest collections ready for upload and you can leave your opinions, suggestions, and requests there. I love seeing how people use my wallpapers and floors, so please contribute your jpegs there too. Come on over and have a chat with me.Happy Summer! judi
Charmed
I've gone back to my Charmed neigborhood mainly due to ChazDesigns' fab set of sisters and a Piper Halliwell career at mts2 - I've decided to have a go at career making and I've got a very promising outline of a Paige Matthews career! Shame there's nowhere on TSR to post careers... maybe there will be by the time I finish it!!!
Daniel
This is my first attempt at a male hair recolour. I've always struggled to find hairstyles I like for my male Sims. This has always been my favourite Maxis male hair mesh so I decided to have a go at sprucing it up a bit. My recolour is a bit more curly and dishevelled with more shine than the original, which I feel is a bit flat.
This hairstyle comes in five realistic shades for male adults, young adults, teens and children: black, dark reddish brown, light sandy brown, red and platinum blonde. There is also a grey version for elder males. It's a bog standard basic Maxis mesh, base game compatible, requiring no expansion packs.
Extreme Sim Homemakeover 7 and 8
My latest Extreme Sim Homemakeover has been published! I hope you enjoy it!I plan on working on Episode 8 very soon, so if you have any ideas or suggestions in the mean time, leave me a comment in this blog or in my guestbook, or PM if you want. I'd love to hear your ideas.
That's it for now
Happy simming!

Welcome
Welcome to my mini-site! Oh my gosh, I was made a SA and am so excited. Thank you TSR, but thank you also, to all the wonderful people who have downloaded my creations and left such encouraging messages. I cannot thank you enough. SamUpcoming sets
I'm still working on new sets for the Just Color series one. Upcoming is a kitchen and dining room. Then I'll have bedding and more curtains. Then I'll have a bathroom. I'm considering some nursery sets too, but I'm having trouble finding meshes that I like! I spent several weeks searching for just the right kitchen meshes, so I'm probably going to be recoloring maxis items for the nurseries.Just for grins, I've released a painting set. When I was recoloring some things for the latest living room set, I was playing around and stumbled upon making these types of wall hangings and ended up making about 3 dozen different ones. The latest set contains some of my favorites. I might do a couple more, I'm not sure.
For those of you who have downloaded, commented, thanked, etc., thank you so much for your support and kind words!
Opinions Please...
I'm currently working on several textures that caught my eye, however, I would like some opinions on them before I put a ton of time and effort in to making them into sets. Soooo... if you're reading this and would let me know what you think... THANK YOU!!!!
Thanks all for the participation!
