I am going to Las Vegas! Fortunately, I don't enjoy gambling, but I am addicted to shopping, lol! I will be visiting friends, family and attending a wedding while in Las Vegas. Happy Simming, and I will be back on June 24th!I'm back!
You may have noticed that I haven't been around for a while. I took a break from The Sims during the weeks surrounding my wedding. It was a beautiful wedding. The sun shone and we had a wonderful day. I'm back from my honeymoon now and ready to submit my first set as Mrs. Bunny! As summer is approaching, and in honour of the next expansion pack, Bon Voyage, I decided a set of brightly coloured swimwear was in order. I've called the set Barbados and it's for adults and young adults.
The set comprises 5 stylish bikinis ideal for a summer vacation. Each has an unusual twist bandeau top with firm, padded cups to ensure a flattering, shapely fit. The trendy hipster pants have a belted waistband with a striking striped sash with off centre tie detail. The bikinis use a standard Maxis mesh and are base game compatible so there is no need for any expansion packs or to go searching for a mesh to download.
Sintesi Right Bookcase Updated
Sorry, Sorry, Sorryyyyyyyyy!While making the recolours for the Sintesi Living room, I discovered that I messed up the right corner bookcase, which wasn't recolourable.
I've fixed it and uploaded the new file (13th June, 19.30 Italy time). You can download it again now.
I will also submit the pink and blue recolours tomorrow, so they will be available in a couple of days.
Just to confuse you...
I've changed the preview pics for Little Venice - The Corner Villa; I wanted them to be stronger and clearer at a glance (when they're thumbnail size). Thought I'd mention it 'cos I didn't want anyone to think they'd missed a new lot ;-)I know, I'm nice like that :-D
I've stuck an "Under Construction" pic of the next lot up, too, as a sneak preview.

Here is why it is taking me too long...
School has since started a week ago, and even before that, I have been busy (see, I am graduating this year...). I can only spend a few hours (or minutes) in the computer due to the terribly huge amount of projects I will have to do... so, to clarify things, I HAVE NOT GIVEN UP on the story! I am just in need of extra time! I am the sort of person who finishes what he has started, so I can only request patience from all of you!
And here is something you all can ponder about...
A CHARACTER WILL DIE IN THE FIFTH PART...

Just to let all of you know that I haven't deserted you...hehee....
So far, looking at the votes, a majority of people want another modern-style housing series... but then again, that could still be changed! But just to be sure, I have some ideas already for a new modern housing series, and the sixth one in my current modern series is going to be published maybe by next week... but I am not making any promises!
P.S. As of now, I am still recovering from the shock of being promoted to an SA... so if any of you there know some cure against this shock... let me know! hehehe....

In two minds...
Well you must be 'tsking' my lack of updates of late but I am really torn in RL with what style to have with my new house and I blame the Sims game!!! I know I am sad and tragic! But it has taken me over 2 months to find sofa cushions and I still am not sure what colour I should choose! So I have decided maybe I should assemble a 'mood book.' The reason why I am telling you this is I feel so bad about not producing as many recolours of sets as you might like - and so to make my life easier (and because so many of you say such incredibly lovely things about my sets), I would love to hear from you about your favourite meshes on TSR that you absolutely adore that you would like for me to recolour. on a break
Im visiting my mum and I will be on holiday till the 5th of July.I tried to upload things till then but did'nt succeed. Just didn't have the time. So I wont have any updates till then.
When I get back I will be off for a while though and get straight involved in some new creations.
Genuine seaside lots - into the sea!
Well, I've decided to explore creating lots that flow into the real, neighborhood sea. It's easiest to do this in OFB's Bluewater Village (on the shore by the business area), or any similar low-lying 'hood where the road is about 10 clicks higher than the sea. The point about these lots is that, once you've worked out the slopes, the sea will invade the lot as you plan (or not!!!) so you can create all kinds of bays, harbours and ports that flow naturally into the Sims sea. So here's a couple of pics of a forthcoming harbour - part of a set - that I'm road-testing at the moment. I've called it Porto di Rimini (= Rimini Harbour) :-

New poll, old results
Well, it seems that people have all kinds of ways of finding their downloads. I thought the poll results were interesting.Question: How do you find new things to download?
In order of popularity
1. I just browse around using the categories menu at the top (36.36%)
2. I click on the Sims 2 this week button (21.82%)
3. I look at the spotlights on the front page (16.36%)
4. I usually have something that I am looking for and do a search AND
I look at my artist bookmarks and start from there (tied at 10.91%)
5. Other (3.64%)
Those that chose other did not leave a message, so I don't know what they do. For me, I fall into number 4. Usually, I am playing the game and realize I want something so I go look for it. That is how I started creating in the first place. I realized that I wanted something that was not available so decided to make it myself.
The new poll has to do with a discussion on the forums. Do people know about and pay attention to poly counts when they download? Comments are always appreciated.
Recent Set Problems
I know that some of you have reported my latest set as empty, but whenever I tried to download it (and asked a friend to), there were no issues, so I cleared the reports. Apparently, there's an issue right now with the servers or something. They're trying to figure what the issue is, but it seems that it only happens part of the time. So if it isn't working for you right now, try again in a few minutes. I don't know if it'll help, but clearing cookies or something might fix it too.As for me, I just finished reinstalling TS2 after my new drive got all set up, and I'm about to reinstall my backed up games. Once I do that, I'll be taking some previews of the single beds that I made for previous sets. I know many of you have been wanting/asking for them, so I should hopefully be uploading those either today or tomorrow.

Chapter 13 - Writer's Comments
I'm thinking that none of my next chapters are ever going to compare to chapter 13. This one was just so great. I'll admit I started the chapter not sure where to go so I started doing research. I searched through all the headstones and was really surprised to see Lyla Grunt there.I also studied and made sense of Olive's memories. I went online and researched ghost colors and what they meant. I wanted to really include those fun elements that Maxis has created for us players. As I sent my characters through the cemetery I was so lucky to have those three ghosts pop up and scare them. And it really did happen one after another. It was great!
I had to have Ophelia raise Bella because Cassandra's character did not technically know her. And it made more sense because Ophelia is a little more ditzy so it would make sense for her to mess it up.
As for Lazlo, Olive and Audrey, I thought of that at the last minute. And General Grunt was always going to fight Olive but it wasn't till I discovered Lyla's grave did he really have a good reason to do so.
Story Update & Preview
I uploaded chapter 13 today. I hope it is published tomorrow. I think it's really good - made me laugh out loud and actually made me sad too.FYI - I am working on chapter 14 now. It is called "The Surprise". I plan on getting the rest of story out as quick as possible so I can uninstall Seasons and reinstall so I can install H&M. I really want to recolor a lot of the clothing.

i suppose all of you can imagine the shock and happiness i felt when i saw something different in my profile page... I even told my brother to take a look to confirm if i am hallucinating or not. Almost suggested to my brother to slap me and wake me up...
I never imagined that when I started out, i will become an SA someday... Thanks so much TSR and all of those who downloaded (or not) my stuff! You all made my day! Thanks again!

Bannoch Village: Twining's Cottage
This cottage should be available soon. Nice small cottage but has 4 bedrooms + 2 bathrooms (one is only a half bath) and plenty of room to add on if needed. Area provided for a driveway. Twining's Cottage was originally owned by Thomas Twining, yes, the same Twining of 'tea' fame. His tea was/and is, so good, its' popularity has lasted for hundreds of years. Obviously he was no ordinary muggle. Thomas came from a long line of talented culinary witches and wizards and always infused his secret recipe for tea with magic. Thank you Thomas for the great tea!
This is a new stove (by Maylin at MTS2, which I recolored) which I thought was very interesting and very suitable for a wizarding families kitchen. Link will be provided with the cottage when I upload it.
I recolored some meshes (fridge/counter/trash compactor) from Sims in Paris, and will provide the link with the cottage.
My first poll
Every time I create new meshes I try to make them base game compatible, but sometimes it's simply impossible or it leaves new features out (ie. the university functions of bookcases and computers, the possibility to lock doors and gates for OFB...).And I had a thought: is it that important to have everything working in base game? Well, it depends on how many people don't have any EPs.
So I'm asking you to answer this question to help me make better things for the sims. Will you be so kind? ;)
Harry Potter Collection - The countdown begins
It is with a heap of excitement and more than a dash of sadness that I have started counting down the weeks to the release of the final Harry Potter book, The Deathly Hallows on July the 21st. My copy of the book has been ordered and paid for and with nothing to do now but wait I have decided keep busy building and releasing one Harry Potter inspired lot every week from now until the book hits the shelves (after which I will be too busy reading). All my lots are based on information from the books, so although some of them might be the same as the movie sets, a few others will be my own interpretation. Whether or not you are a Harry Potter fan I hope you will still be able to enjoy these creations. As for all my fellow HP fans out there whom are all waiting for the final book, I hope this will help pass the time and bring some magic to your Sims. This weeks lot is the infamous Azkaban Prison.

Real Life Interfering with Sims
Since I'm a photographer, this time of year has been especially busy for me and hasn't left me much time to create for the Sims. I have about 5 separate projects I've been working on and it has taken up so much of my time! Hopefully, I will get them finished soon and can get caught up my Sims creations. When people give me money, then I feel that I need to get their jobs done first before I can "play" and do the fun stuff. :)My Favourite Artists

I have decided that I would make another Groovy Stuff Set since the set/series is much smaller than the Autumn Stuff and Modern Stuff series. So, I will be making another set with 16 new meshes, but no walls and floors. However, I will not make a third Groovy Stuff Set. Also, I won't be working on this set for a little while.In the mean time, I will be coming up with an idea for a fourth "stuff" set. If you have any ideas of what you would like to see, let me know, and I'll see what I can do! ;-)

First Lip Colours
I've submitted my first set of lip colours yesterday so they should be available in a few days. I've tried to do something different and made a glitter finish instead of the glossy look which is in fashion just now as I thought that something different may be liked more.I'm trying to make a superset of walls floors and furniture with a range of things to mix and match but getting the colour shades to match exactly is driving me crazy.Anyway I'm still working on it (with no end in sight) and I won't give up but I have no idea how long it's going to take

Now that I have submitted the Dishwasher Set 2 and Trash Compactor Set 2, my next four sets, and in this order are: The Nightlife Set 1, University Set 2, Pets Set 4, and Open for Business Set 7. After those sets, the Family Fun Stuff Set 3 and Glamour Life Stuff Set 3 will be following.I've got a lot of work to do on these sets, but I will begin work on them soon!

I'm quite pleased that many people are downloading the natural eye collection.As this was my first effort I wasn't sure if they would be up to the mark but I'm getting a positive response so now I'm trying my hand at lip colours.I expect I'll put up a collection today or tomorrow so it should be available in a few days, I hope it goes wellWedding Garden Flags
If you've been going through flag withdrawal, you'll be happy to hear that I'm back from a short break. :D Hubby and I celebrated our 5-year anniversary together last month, then had friends of mine from Canada 'drop' by to visit (amazingly the first since I moved here!). And of course with only a week left of the school year, work has been insanely busy so a little break from TSR seemed in order. However, I'm back now and will continue to dole out creations in a more regular schedule again.So, first up - more flags! As June is the most popular month for weddings, it seemed fitting to have some flags catering to this theme available. They go quite nicely with the lovely new wedding objects available in the Celebrations! Stuff Pack, if you have it (that is where the cute little anime bride and groom statue is from). Just half a dozen flags in this small set but I promise you more party related flags later this month. ;)
Cage Dorm
I am currently thinking of starting an honest legacy, but want to make sure I am completly ready for it first. And my founder will start in uni and will need a brand new dorm. So there it is. Cage Dorm is built on a small lot and holds 8 rooms. I'm sure your sims will love living there :P
