Requests are turned off right now

Yes that right, I am taking no more requests for the time being. I have a few I haven't done yet, that I will do as soon as I can, but no more for now.

The reason being is that I am trying to learn meshing. And I want to take the time to learn it right so that I can bring all of you quality twisted items. I have many plans, the problem is seeing if I can pull them off.

So for the time being until Ii say otherwise, requests are off. Any request I get from this date on, will be deleted until I am ready again.

So I hope all of you like the new creations I will be bringing in the near future. I know I will have fun making them.

Rugs! That Match Beds!

Ever since I made my first few "bedding-match" items, I've gotten a steady trickle of requests/suggestions that I make some rugs that use the bedding files. Well, I finally sat down, dug out the meshes I had from some earlier attempts at these, and managed to get them into a state that I considered at least "acceptable". I've created the rugs in both 2x2 square and round shapes and have supplied two differently-mapped versions of each. Some bedding files will map well to all of them, some to only one or two of them, some just look - well, odd! - no matter which shape and mapping is tried. The set should be out on Friday of next week.

New Hot tubs

For my next object release, I'm going to be doing a set of new hot tub recolors for the in ground hot tub. They come in a wide variety of colors, such as: Cherry, Lemon, Green Apple, Watermelon, Plum, Caramel, Orange and Blue Raspberry. I will be uploading these tonight and will let you know when they post.

Away...

I'm not gonna be around in June, since I won't be at home. That means that there won't be any updates in few weeks to come. But I will be back in July, and updates can be expected then :)

More Country-fied Tables

Okay, so I wasn't in the mood to make the 3-tile tables when I made the 1- and 2-tile ones earlier for the Country set. I had some spare time tonight and was in the mood for it, and wonder of wonders everything seems to have worked correctly on the first go, so they're already completed, and submitted, and are the in the queue for release early next week. Enjoy!

As you probably have noticed, the Cape Cod Living Room Set and Bedroom sets are going to be published this week! Also, the Cape Cod Bathroom set is pending. I am in the middle of working on the Cape Cod Office/Entrance Set, and I will hopefully be able to submit it tonight!

After all of these Cape Cod Sets are done, I am going to begin work on the Groovy Stuff Mini Pack set. It is going to be much smaller than the Modern Stuff Pack, and will feature 10 new meshes, 2 floors, and 2 walls. I will later make a recolor set

I still have more sets lined up! I have a new body mesh set in the works, as well as a new wall set, floor set, roof set, the University Set 2, Nightlife Set 1, Pets Set 4, Open for Business Set 7, and many more. In fact, I have 18 sets in the planning stages! I am going to be quite busy!

Missing in Action

I know, I haven't been around as much lately. Real life has gottn in the way and I haven't had as much time to create as I would like. Re I am still around though and am working on new creations whenever I get the chance.

My Current project is "Indian Cusisine". I have 4 meals ready as I type this and 6 more in the works. I am also making 2-3 sweet dishes. All of them should be ready in the next week or so. They will be published, split into 3 smaller sets (later to be combined into a superset).

I have several more creations planned for my "Indian Inspired" theme and hopefully will have time to work on them soon.
My current list includes: Kitchen, Bathroom, Decor set, Build mode set and possibly an outdoor set (let me know if I've missed anything, lol)

Air of the countryside...

Approximately two feet away (yes, that's right: I'm far too fossilised to bother with metric), sleeps a baby Whippet (he's the one on the left)... Now, anyone here who likes dogs might well be thinking how cute he looks, but if you were sitting right where I am now, you'd soon change your mind. You see: this creature is emitting THE most hideous of foul smells. He might be little, but he's giving out more pong than our neighbouring cabbage fields at the end of harvesting season. I WAS going to finish a nice set of Elizabethan windows for you, but I don't seem to have any suitable breathing aparatus to hand and so I'm going to bed.

Krampft Industry Value Counter

The 'Value Counter' is the latest victim of my mania for counter-matching tables and chairs. Mutske recently did a beautiful set of counter-matching upper cabinets for the Value counter. Considering it's the second such set I have now downloaded (BiztyBus also did a set of uppers for the Value counter), that inspired me to finally get off my duff and make a table set. Features 1-tile, 2-tile, and 3-tile tables plus a dining chair. They should be available for download on Thursday, May 31.

Bannoch Village: Padfoot Lane

Yes, back to the 'trashed' look with this project!!! It's not my fault, I tell you ... I just happened to see a lovely texture over at Mayang.com .... (slatted boards) ... and I just couldn't resist making an awful house. And Bannoch Village did need an awful house for evil beings. I enjoyed using many items from Cyclonesue's wonderful Urban Renewal series. She makes the best trash ... love those 'Bang on a Can' items and all the rest!!! There are 2 complete dwellings on this lot for 2 seperate families or a group of single Sims. And there is room for a driveway. All you have to do is move the 'junk car', pull out a few plants ... and there it be. It probably would look best with Cyclonesue's Invisible Driveway. It was very hard trying to get the preview shots for this lot because of the size. Truly it looks much better in the game and the part I like the best is the alley. It reminds me of some of the alleys in the city where I live ... and as in Bannoch Village ... you don't want to be down there at night!

Baby Play-Mat FIXED

The Baby Play-Mat I made and uploaded back in August of 2005 has always annoyed me in-game because of a shading issue that I didn't at the time know how to fix. This is what it looked like originally, with the shading problem in full force: These days I fix the mesh problem that was causing that particular error as I make new objects, and I decided it was time to pull up the old mesh file for this object and fix it too! Now the playmat looks nice and smoothly shaded, like this: The fixed version has been posted and is now available for download.

New Set is coming out

Hey there! I have a new House set coming out tomorrow. It's one of my Starter series that appeared in Morewood. Don't worry, I really made them and I did make sure with other members of that project if it was ok to publish those lots I made. In other words, more are coming ;) Oh, and if you peeked at those up-coming lots, you probably notice that the preview image for the Green house is saying pink. Well, I just noticed, so I'll see to correct that as soon as I get home from work tonight... In that Morewood mood, I intend to get publish here all the lots I build for that project. Those lots are all Base Game only which is pretty nice, but I will also join to them a full EP update. I will get back in there and re-decorate those houses with all that the numerous EP's and Stuff Pack have given us since the base game. Anyone wanna celebrate with me?

Hey everyone! I know this is probably not a big deal to some of you that are have been in school a while and just wanna get it down so you can graduate, but I've been out of school for a while beening a mom and this was my first time back. So you understand why I'm very,very excited about my grades for the spring semester. My grades are:

Algebra - A
Writing Class - A
History - C
Computer Class - A

I worked very hard this semester and I'm thrilled to see that all of that hard work paid off for me I just wanted to share it with you all here. I'm looking forward to the fall!

bout this DG collection...

soooo i have about 3 dresses done and one hair mesh to go with it. dont get me wrong the 3 dresses are amazing and totally hot but im just to lazy to finish it all. Im updating soon with a bunch of new guys and gals clothes so dont get the panties in a bunch people. but i thought id just say somthing about the DG collection because im geting a lot of e-mails about yada yada yada... blah blah blah anywaysssssss sooo whats up mah people? how are your lives!? leave me some loving and tell me whats up so i can know you people.

Glass block correction - my fault AGAIN!

It seems that the diagonal version of the full length glass window actually wasn't this window at all! Thanks to JRon, I saw tonight that this file was a door.

I have now corrected this. Please download the diagonal window again (my apologies, profuse grovelling and pitiful excuses as usual):

Computer - RIP

After 5 1/2 long years of companionship, my PC has reached its end.

Neither IE or Firefox will connect to the web, and the thing can crash even with nothing running. Tec friends have looked at it - has to be replaced.

So I've just ordered a new one. (I'm using Ruth's laptop at the moment!!!) Until it comes I won't be able to do much new stuff - but in theory it should arrive by Friday. ;)

24 people are missing something!

That's right: as at this very moment, 24 people have not downloaded the DIAGONAL version of the glass block full height window. It's not essential, but you'd probably like a diagonal version too.

Corpus Noor

Hey there! Me again! Just wanted to drop a word on Corpus Noor since it is the subject of my little poll. Corpus Noor is a custom made neighborhood for the Sims 2. It is built by a few simmers and myself. It reunites the characters of many books we loved to read. I seem to finally have my minisite roughly set up the way I want it. I'm still not too fond of the banner, but I'll leave it for now until I come up with something better ;). Many thanks to MoMama for answering all my stupid questions about minisites!

As you can see from my recent releases, I've been playing around with the Arizona meshes by shtinky00 a lot lately. I've especially enjoyed making the Tulip Garden livingroom and safari lounge on those meshes.

I do have a lot more ideas for those meshes that look like they'll be fun to make, but while testing I realized that I already have 80+ recolours of each mesh in my game, and I'm wondering if other people are the same and if they are still interested in more.

I've set up a poll on that question and would like to hear your view on the "Arizona question" :).

So this is what i am working on these days, and they will be uploaded her within a few days. Meshing? uhh I am starting to belive that its not for me, since I only can create suff that defiantly is not worth keeping (my son commented on my last "creation" and a rewiev from a 3 year old boy that are unfit to withe here, makes me realize that I need more practice, much more practice :D ) but I am not giving up! :D

Cape Cod Bedroom Preview

Today, I have a preview of the Cape Cod Bedroom set! I plan on submitting this set in a little bit. The set includes two new meshes- an end table and a hope chest, which was cloned from a coffee table. Small objects can be placed on the hope chest. Preview: Another note about this set: the set requires both Open for Business and Glamour Life Stuff. But, if you only want the individual objects, the majority of the objects, including the new meshes, don't require any expansion packs; only the base game! Also, I am working on the Cape Cod Living Room Set. I have two of the three meshes completed, and I have finished recoloring most of the objects. This particular set will require Open for Business and the CEP. More information will be revealed later on this set. That's it for now! Country-fied Table Set

Every time I use the Country Kitchen objects from Seasons, I find myself muttering about how the single 1-tile round table supplied doesn't always work well with what I want to do. The solution was, of course, obvious - make more Maxis-matching items! So I made two versions each of a kitchen and dining table. There's a plain version that only uses the textures of the "Rancher's Round Table", and a fancier version that pulls the counter-top textures from the "Blue Ribbon Counter" for a look that co-ordinates better in eat-in kitchens.

Creating and Tutorials!

Just a quick note to say that I am currently in the process of writing the tutorial on creating realistic clothing as per popular demand! I know that someone also asked if I could do both tutorials - so I just might! I also have made a new set which I hope to upload this weekend so watch this space... hugs Nancy xx

New colours for the Victorian Radiator

I don't often do recolours (I leave that to people better at it than me), but the Victorian Radiator I made in the recent Climate Solutions set offers the grand total of ONE colour: black!

And this will be really a great news - Finally vacation with the sims again! /Sophia :)

The Cape Cod Sets

Now that all the Bedroom sets are submitted (the first three to be published Friday, and the last set pending), I will be creating matching room sets to the Cape Cod Kitchen Set. The first set will be the bedroom set with two new meshes, followed by the Living Room Set with four new meshes! Also, I plan to make a matching bathroom and office sets.

I should have some previews of these sets soon!

H&M Stuff pack is coming soon

Hi there, in ca. 2 weeks is the release of the H&M stuff pack. I really happy about this pack, because there comes really cute new clothing items with it. And I'm buying often in these shops clothing ;) So my simmies get a bit more reality.
