Stopping by...
I've had so many computer problems... basically, my computer is REALLY old and I am EXTREMELY good at killing technology. I joke that this is why I married a computer tech.I need to upgrade pretty much everything.
I lost the program(s) I used to create Sims 2 stuff.
I'm in a financial Titanic and will not be able to change any of this any time soon.
I HOPE (crosses fingers, toes, eyes, etc.) that I will be able to come back and create again someday.
I love you all and I appreciate EVERYTHING. This is a great community- keep it together and don't sweat the small stuff!
New Competition Launched
This has been a busy few weeks here by me but I'm finally getting some time to catch up and get started on a few new lots I have been thinking about - the first of which will be a new dorm that I hope you all will like.Also I have posted another competition on the Challenges and Contests Forum - this month the challenge is to build a Graduate Starter home for around �40,000 - feel free to join in and submit your lot, you never know you might win the first prize - a fridge magnet from South Africa.
I will also be uploading one of the small 'dark starter homes' that I build for the Corpus Noor Dark Building Challenge.

Complex Japanese Roofs tute!
Well, despite this horrid bug, I've finished double-checking the second tutorial in my Japanese Roofs series. Called Building Complex Japanese Roofs, it will show (I hope) how to start building multi-level roofs - for pavilions, palaces, pagodas etc. I would stress, it's not a doddle of a tutorial. You'll definitely need to have used my first tute, and also be a little patient!!! I would call it Intermediate - 'cos I know what difficult really looks like! :lol: Then I look at some guy who says his tutorial is Advanced, and you guys could do it three years ago!!!!!! Aaaarrggghh - people. Here's the preview piccie:

OH! Sims can die in CAS!
Well here I sit, better than two weeks into the release of Seasons, and I am making odd little discoveries left and right. One of which may bear some serious study. It seems that a sim can indeed freeze to death in a custom CAS! that has been edited in Seasons. That bodes ill for us lovers of custom CAS! lots.
So far I have reports of other deaths, but I haven't been able to confirm lightning strikes or heat strokes. But it is pretty catastrophic for the game too. Crashes the game to the desktop every time. I will try to grab a screen capture the next time I am in game >_<It also seems that the lot exporter has a variable bug that may or may not include recolours, custom content, or what-not. It seems to follow no pattern and may work perfectly well for some people. It certainly has taken the shine off this EP for me to discover these bugs that obviously point to some neglect in the QA testing (again).
On to brighter news, everytime I run The Sims (tm) Life Stories I am more in love with that game. It seems to capture everything that I was missing in so many subtle ways. I have to agree with daydream58 about SLS, "I'm more of a Life Stories fan after one day than I ever was a true Sims 2 fan." - - That says a lot when you consider I have been modding and creating custom content for both The Sims and The Sims 2 for a sum of 7 years LOL My rating for SLS is now approaching 10 from its original 5, whereas Seasons has dropped to 6 from a previous 7.5 - if the lads at EA can turn out a bug-fix in a timely fashion, Seasons may pull back up, but that all depends on the lads at EA. Let's all hope John Riccitiello cracks the whip on the bug-fix as hard as his predecessor cracked the whip on getting this out to market with the bugs!

Greetings and Welcome to my little corner. Soon I'll have more to post in this spot. For now though, I'd like to welcome all who visit my profile and thank you to all who download my creations. I enjoy making/recoloring different furniture items and building the houses to furnish them with. I would've never gotten into recoloring until one day when I wanted to try and create something just for fun for my game and had the support by the staff and other members on Sims Fashion Barn. So if your creating/recoloring for the very first time, don't be afraid to ask lot's of questions if your not sure about something or where to place a new texture on a template in SimPe. My recoloring addiction all started with a single painting months ago then it escalated into many many different pieces of furniture over time. The Latin orator Marcus Tullius Cicero crafted a phrase that says all I could ever hope: Amicitiae nostrae memoriam spero sempiternam fore - I hope that the memory of our friendship will be everlasting. Mary is a living memory to me even in death. I shall ever recall her wry but genuine humour, her sensitivity, her generosity, her patience, and her candour; but these individual traits are facets of a more complex creature whom I had in the past year just began to know.
I regret only that I did not know her better so that my memory of her would be more richly embellished with those treasures that endure. Mary was always sincere and honest with me, she spoke her thoughts clearly and freely which itself is a treasure beyond price. I shall miss her always, and though my shock and the sharpness of this present pain may subside, the ache of a missing friend who has gone on before me will never cease.
The greatest memorial I can give to so beautiful a soul is to remember it and treasure those memories, it is a tribute that goes beyond any monument of stone or words. I enjoin you that knew her to never let her memory fade in your hearts, for so long as we remember her, she remains a living force in this world doing goodness. I pray you all have peace of heart soon and know you all that your aches though undeminished are shared and shouldered.

returning to photostories made a wonderful change.
I just wish I could add a warning sticker to deter those readers looking for something more TSR mainstream. They will surely be disappointed, and it hurts to get negative feedback, even if I do think I know where it's coming from.

Mother's Day Cards
Hello! :D Our Sim mum's need some pampering! I have made a brand new set of cards especially for Mother's Day. They are due to be published on the 13th March. They cost 25 simoleons, and the mesh has 50 polygons. Here's an ingame description and a preview picture. :D Make every Sims Mum feel special on Mother's Day by displaying this set of five cards near her favourite chair as she relaxes, watching the TV, or reading her favourite book whilst her Sims family make the dinner and do all of the housework while she puts her feet up.
Rainbow Box Files
Hello! :D They are completed and ready to go! The colours match the Rainbow Sets of the notebook tables and chairs and stationery sets. They can be found under: Decorative/Sculptures. They cost �49. What I'm really pleased about with these, is that I've been learning how to use less polygons in meshes, and with this set, there is only 18 polygons! :D Here's the ingame description and a preview picture. :D Do your Sims keep misplacing important documents? Is their paperwork for their businesses scattered everywhere when it should be hidden away safely? This colourful set of Box Files will keep all of those loose bits of paper neat and tidy.

Dipping the toes
Well, Im getting "The Urge" again... I would LOVE so much to be able to do more than Walls Floors and Pictures, I would LOVE to be able to create a room! You know, the matching Curtains, Bedding and such... I just cannot get my head around shodows, Shading (aka ruffles and pleats!) and say, wood testures... Argh!!!I WILL get there one day - no matter how many more people I have to Harrass!!! Be careful, It could be you next!!!
Floor Blitz!
Wow.. I have been busy, just released and upcoming are loads and LOADS of floors, I decided that there were not enough Natural floors in my ever expanding Downloads folder, so heck, I went and made some! I did them all on a 5x5 scale so the pattern didnt look too squished up and repetative, so i hope you all like them...I, along with several other people absolutely adore to use that excellent Reflective floor tile that Murano Makes... It is just like Bitzybus' Mirror tile, but with this one, you can place the "tile" over the top of absolutely ANY existing floortile you have.. you are not tied to the recolours of Bitzybus' tile.. I love her tile but, because i also like making my own, I love this one too... Just click on any one of my Natural Floors collection to find the link for this excellent Free surface... Co-incidentally (or not!!) All of my floors look darn fantastic with this surface over the top, especially the Slate and Granite floors...
Am I dreaming?
Hi everyone! First off I would like to thank TSR, my bestest friends and last but certainely not least all of you who kept downloading and commenting and keeping me going. I'm so thrilled to have become a Select Artist, it's been my dream to be at least well known to a few people here on TSR, ever since I joined this great community. And this is a dream come true.All right now, moving on... Before anything I'd like to ask you all to head off to Serasims and get all of her meshes, because I have all of them and might probabley use them to create custom clothings. So I suggest you all to go there and download all of her meshes.
Okay, the third point I'd like to mention was that Iranian New year is coming soon, so I'm gonna be having loads and loads of new creations, so look forward to that. *wink*

L shape stairs mini tutorial
To make an L-shaped stairs, like in my Extreme Sim Homemakeover Episode 5, you first need to have Open for Business or Seasons installed. Then, build adjacent walls, and click on the foundation tool, then click on the last option like so:
Then place a stage in the corner like so:
Now, go to the Connection/Modular Stair tool:
Place a stair on the stage leading down to the ground like so:
Now, go to the next floor, and place a floor tile like so, and then you can connect stairs from the floor tile to the stage:
There! And that's all there is to it!

Recolours
Hi, I have finally managed to wrap my brain around SimPE Wizard and am busily recolouring everything that stays still long enough. If you want anything in particular recoloured (am only doing Maxis stuff at the moment) let me know and I will have a bash at it.I am continuing with my walls and floors as well, should have some new ones up for you in the near future. Happy simming :)

Caution
I found out that I can create sets from items previously released under other sets. With that in mind and with the results of the current poll so obvious, I created bathroom sets out of all my bathroom object collections. Those who have previously downloaded some of the items in the set need to be careful not to introduce duplicates into their system. Generally if you overwrite any content you install from these sets you should be okay. Just wanted to put this out there so you can avoid any problems. In the meantime new downloaders will be happy because they will have complete bathrooms to download.I wish to further state that the pictures for the bathroom sets do not represent how I would build a bathroom. They are just a means to display all the items. Generally, I'd try to add something in white or off-white to offset the main color. Or maybe have one main color and a second accent color. And of course, I'd have one wall and floor or the other, not both!

Here is a house I've been working on...It should be available by end of March! Its a mid-sized european based design with 3 bedrooms and great curb appeal:
The following house will be the third last house of my "Grand Estate Collection - Series 2" of a 2 series collection...A very spacious design with 4 large bedrooms (the master is like a house on its own) and large principle rooms on the main floor. This house is still under construction - should be available mid April:

What's New!
Hello Everyone! Real life is keeping me very busy, and this month I don't have nearly as much time to create for the Sims as I would like :(I hope to release my upcoming Vintage Victorian Prams set later this month. I need to create a few more object recolors and take screenshots for the set.
My next project is a Victorian Scullery/Laundry set. I'm not sure why I am creating a laundry set. Laundry is my least favorite household chore, LOL! I hope to share a few screenshots of the set soon.
I have received several requests to update the Victorian Inspired Kitchen refrigerator for Season's EP. That will be the first object I will update once I purchase Seasons. I also plan to update my vintage bathtub and typewriter/computer for Pets. Take Care, and Happy Simming!

Sorry guys - I've been laid low by a nasty virus that has kept me in bed for most of the past 3 weeks now. I've done some things here at TSR, but get very weak in a short while so what I can do is limited.
However, it's getting better slowly, and I'm trying to reply to all my messages and comments gradualy - hope you feel patient! ;)

Silverdreams asked if the Bang-On-A-Can bath tub could be made Pets-ready...
Consider it done! A Pets-ready bath and two recolours will be released Thursday 15 March! It goes without saying that this version of the bath requires Pets - but it won't replace the existing bath if you downloaded it. Your choice: replace it with this one or keep both.
