Hi folks!Happy Valentines day, (1 day late) I hope everyone had a romantic something-or-other planned. And if not, I hope you chuckled heartily at all those lovesick saps. Hehe
Anyway, as you can see, those mens t-shirt outfits were released yesterday. I hope it will be the first in a number of non-female releases from me. I would like to do some teen clothes, and especially some elder clothes. Please feel free to PM me with ideas and suggestions. I wont be making any promises, but I could use some inspiration.
I see that the results of my poll are leaning heavily toward hair retextures, and I have quite a few in mind. I'll be working on that next, and then I will dip back into an ongoing project of mine that is a resurrection of a popular project I did for Sims 1. Retro Fashion through the 20th century. Starting in the 20's and working my way through to the 70's. I'm especially excited about that, and If all goes well, It could be a great deal of fun.
Next/Upcoming Projects
Now that the TS2 Maxis Match Set has been finished and published, I will have more time to devote to the TS1 for TS2 Mesh set. I am working on the Zebra Couch from TS1. I still have some more work to do on the lingerie (sp?) clothes rack texture. I'm hoping to have this set done with by this weekend or next weekend, so that means I have a lot of work still to do.Also, I have decided that I may start making object sets for TS1. I'll let you know how I'm doing with that.
On a final note, I am looking for an idea for my next mini stuff pack. It won't be as massive as the Modern Stuff Mini pack, but if you have any ideas, feel free to comment and leave me your ideas! :-)

Hi! Just wanted to say Happy V-Day to all of you lovebirds out there and I hope yours is a wonderful one, as mine is because I have the most wonderful husband in the world! (I know I sound like a lovesick puppy right about now,lol)I can't say enough how much I appreciate all of the feedback I'm receiving from everyone who downloads my creations! Everytime I log in I have like 40 comments from you all and I must say it makes me so happy. And the more the better, so just keep them coming! I always tried to make sure I respond to all of your comments because I'm very serious about my appreciation-it means alot to me, so thanks!
I know it's been a while since I've created any lots and the reason for this is because I'm in school, so that's taking up alot of my time now. Even though I love doing the hair recolors, creating homes was always my first passion so I do intend on starting a new project soon - and of course I'll keep the hair colors coming. Sometime back at the end of last year, JRon asked if I might consider doing a set for the Candy Coated Sofa similar to what I did for the Lap of Luxury Sofa. Conidering this is another sofa I've rarely used myself because it has no matching pieces, I cheerfully said "sure, as soon as I can find some time...". Naturally it then took me ages to find the time to make them, doh! The Candy Coated loveseat and armchair are now completed, and should be available for download some time in the next few days.

A small break...
I need to take a small break from simming as I have a portfolio to submit in about two weeks. My spare time is going to be devoted to finishing my portfolio pieces, so I won't be uploading (or working on) any more sets until then. Apologies all around, but school always comes first for me.Romantic Overtures Living Room
So, this was suppose to be my Valentine's-themed set... But as you can see, it's late. Why, you ask? Because this beast of a set, small as it is, has fought me every step of the way. Go figure.Anyway, moaning and groaning aside, I thought it was high time I provided an all Maxis mesh set for people who might prefer not to have custom meshes in their game or can't afford a subscription for FA meshes, which I admit I use a lot. The sofa, loveseat, arm chair and bookcase are all base game objects while the lights and decor item will require OFB.
Note: Those of you who are particularly observant will notice that the matching table lamp to these OFB lights is missing from the set. I'm sorry about that - I tried valiently to include it but for some unknown reason the base refuses to recolour at all so I finally gave up the fight. If at some future time I can finally wrangle it into submission, I'll add it to the set.
White Unicorn
White Unicorn is a new decorative mesh for the upcoming Fantasy theme. Golden mane recolor will also be included. Soon to be published, check my calendar.
New Downloads
Haven't uploaded much this week. Been really busy at work. I'll be working on a whole heap of stuff between now and over the weekend. So look out for it next week.Castle Wall Tops Updated
There was a minor bug in my castle wall tops - they would show up as hacks in Sims2Pack Clean Installer when packaged in lots. Obviously, they are not hacks, and to fix this issue I recreated all the castle wall tops and their recolors. Please download them again from this page.Emptying My TSR Submission Folder
I think every artist here at TSR has a "submission" folder, as well as a "to-be-created" folder. Well, I've become more selective about my "to-be-created" folder contents, and have been trying to recolor and empty my "TSR Submissions" folder, in order to focus more of my attention on my new site.The site will be up and running hopefully by this time next week (I've already secured the site, and am working on the layout, and download previews), so it's only a matter of time now.
Within the next week or so you should see a surge in my uploads, mainly because I'm trying to clear them from my puter, but as I stated a few posts ago, chances are my submissions will be few-and-far-between afterwards. I'll be submitting a new post either sometime today or tomorrow explaning why in detail, but for now, I hope you all enjoy my upcoming submissions, and I thank you all so much for your incredible comments, and the time you take out to let me know how you feel about your submissions.

Poll Categories
I've added a poll to the site to try and get a better feel for which of the kinds of items I prefer making you most want to see. Here are some explanations (with examples) of the categories I've listed:Maxis Match - items made to share textures of existing Maxis items. These might be completer pieces, such as the Lap of Luxury loveseat and armchair, or things like the Charablanca or my counter-matching tables and chairs.
Bedding Match - existing Maxis items and/or custom meshes that have been set up to use the bedding files for their texture. Such as the bedding-match pet beds (which are still a little buggy, grrr), armchair, curtains, and so forth. Sort of a specialised category of the Maxis-Match idea.
Texture-Sharing Items - custom items of my own creation set up to share all their textures from a specific base item (and sometimes Maxis items as well). This would include things like my Bentform set or the Winseat set or the Curvaceous set. Pros - one recolour affects all items, Cons - that specific item might not be up in the free rotation very often.
Stand-Alone Items - okay, if you hate loathe and despise the idea of texture-sharing items, check this one. This is, quite frankly, the style of item I'm least likely to make unless it's a unique one-off item such as the Bust of Lettuce Soup or the Dish-Draining Tray. I like reusing resources! It drives me nuts to see 3 standalone meshes with 10 identical recolours each that could and in my admittedly biased opinion should be done as 3 linked meshes with 10 recolours total. I despise file number bloat!
Storytelling Props - specialised items for specialised uses. Things like the Cryogenic bed, the Water Wheel, the Railway Tunnel, and even the Flat Broke set. Not your average "use it everywhere" kind of items!
Feel free to answer via the poll, by comments here, or even by PMing me! Always interested in hearing feedback, as long as it's not the ubiqitous "Why isn't the Bentform Dining Table Free!?!" complaint.
Hey - that's not what we voted for!
As you might have noticed, I made a poll to let you vote for what I would create next :) The garden furniture set seems to be a little ahead at this time, so I'm making that at the moment. I'm having much fun with it, as right now in Holland, we have the warmest winter in years, which means instead of snow and ice, we get lots of rain and wind - so making this set fills me with welcome visions of warm and dry summer days :) I'll post a preview picture of it soon.But since it's not finished yet, I thought it would be nice to upload a recolour set of 'Kontrast', with red leather and black metal. I'm not good at recolouring at all, and this is actually the first time I upload a recoloured set :)
So, just thought I'd let you know I am in fact doing something with the poll results - the recolour set is just an in-between thing :)
The Sims Life Stories
I used some vouchers to pick this up as a (very!) late Christmas present! If any one's interested, we have a new forum HERE to discuss the newest Sims game. Anyway, I've been on the look out for some compact community lots for my Challenges hood, and I really like some of the new ones here... So I got busy! The first two recreations, which are being submitted tonight, are Old Grove Park and Starlight Cafe and Market. Both have been built as closely as possible, given the difference in content in the two games. I have tweaked the Starlight lot, to make it a one-stop shop, including clothing, however! There's a few others I might work my way round as well! Any requests?! Old Grove Park is a charming community park, ideal for visiting with the family, or for a romantic afternoon stroll.
The Starlight Cafe and Market is the vibrant hub of a community, where you can eat, shop or chill out.
New creations
There are some new creations in the pipeline,finally I have a little free time to do some creating. I think it's great being busy so much, but must admit to missing creating my simmy stuff when I had more time to do it.Anyway watch this space there will be something soon!How Nice!
What a fitting tribute to the end of the Solander/Pimp My Sims Kitchens. It's on the front page! How nice! Now I don't mind so much saying goodbye to a set that has really become like an old friend.I think I've settled on 7 recolors of AnoeskaB's Turano Dining Room, plus a small pack of items to add to her red recolor. There might be more sometime in the future, but I think that's it for now. I have yet to use it in my real Sims' homes. I haven't had any time to play. I can't wait to do that.
Well, I'm off for another day of work, work, work. Blah, blah, blah. It's Monday. Boy I need to cheer up.
TS2 Matching Set Coming Soon!
I have finished all the meshes for the TS2 Maxis Match set. It's a small set, 2 tables (Tablablanca 1 Tile Version, and OFB Modern Mission Dining Table 1 Tile), and the Candy Coated Sofa Chair, Luxuaire Loveseat Chair, and for the country style sofa, I have made a matching sofa and chair.However, I will point out now that the chairs are all actually 2 tiles, (I was trying to change the number of tiles of the sofa instead of cloning a chair), but, if you use moveobjects on cheat, you can place another object on the "empty tile." This is just a heads up.
I can't wait to finish up making the previews and submitting the set this week.
After this set, my next set will be the TS1 for TS2 Mesh Set. Stay tuned for more updates!

Still trying to clean out some of my miscellaneous folders on my computer, so more random skins are on the way this week. As always, previews will be posted as I get things completed.
Important Update!
The 3-tile victorian sofa mesh is now updated to correct 1 of its 4 GUID. An incorrect GUID in the package could cause problems with your game. Please download the corrected ZIP file (Sims2Pack has not yet updated). In addition, when I corrected the sofa package, I also improved the mesh's uv mapping so that it will looks better with a sofa recolor I am working on. All the sofa's recolors will still work fine with the updated package file. Thanks to TK for bringing this matter to my attention. You can also verify ingame that you have the new updated package file, the ingame catalog will show this info, see picture below: You can get the updated mesh file here: cash_victorian_white_sofa_mesh
Mardi Gras Flags
Here they are - the second batch of flags I promised for this month. I realise that Mardi Gras is not a highly popular celebration but I thought these images were pretty fun looking and could easily double for generic party flags. :)
Next, I'll admit that I've been dragging my feet on doing my next living room set. I have the textures, I have the general idea of what I want it to look like but I'm having trouble just sitting myself done and doing it. I'll try to hunker down and instill some self-discipline into myself and get this set wrapped up for you very soon.
Valentine Bunny Girls
To complete my 2007 Valentine Collection, two Valentine versions of my signature Bunny Girl costume, in pink and red. This time the rosette contains a matching love heart instead of the usual name medallion and the bow ties match the satin suit instead of being black. I've also removed the Playboy cufflinks for a softer look.
The Bunny costumes can be worn by adults and young adults. The wonderful Bunny Girl mesh is the same one I always use by Aardvarkams at MTS2. The matching ears are already available here at TSR - the Pink Bunny ears are part of the original Playboy Bunnies set and the Red Bunny ears came with the Festive Bunnies set.

Yep, I finally was able to upgrade to a minisite and I'm so excited about it! Of course now that those few seconds of excitment are slowly fading away, I'm trying to figure out how to "fix" my site. Right now it's not showing any of my creations and it could be because I just upgraded it. I guess only time will tell. If anyone has any suggestions or can tell me how to feature some of my creations I would really appreciate it.And I would like to thank everyone that's downloaded my creations and the ones that took the time to leave wonderful comments. I updated today with the start of my Mission set. This is my favourite set in the game so I had to recolour it. I'll try my best to upload it regularly but I'm a busy, busy girl. =)Enjoy!

Maxis heard us!
Maxis is listening! I can't express just how relieved I am at THAT - and thankful!I suspect Maxis didn't realise the magnitude of impact it would have to block recolours in lot packages. In reality, people are already feeling the effects, there are people who have been backing up their lots in packages only to find on installing that their content is missing, people who are trying to upload lots with content to sites but can't, people who have simply given up lot building...
Yes, 'The Exchange' has spiralled out of control with so many people not knowing what they're doing when they upload their lots - due in part to that handy 'package lot to The Exchange' button in the game itself (uploaders need never visit any website, nor check the content of their lots first, but can still share their work and, unwittingly, their entire downloads folder of recolours). With straining servers, Maxis wanted to put an end to it. I'm not sure they realised how they were also putting an end to the hobby of a much wider audience than those who frequent 'The Exchange'...
But I've just heard from Maxis. They are indeed treating this very seriously, right from the top (yes, all managers have been alerted too). They say the community is VERY important to them, that they're not sure yet what the solution will be, but rest assured they ARE now looking at it.
I call that a result in itself. It's not the END result, but so far so good. My fingers are very crossed! My thanks go to everyone who chipped in either here or at The Exchange. Together, we've been heard.
Oops! Delightful Daisies Rocking Chair
Oops! I did it again, the Delightful Daisies rocking chair is not part of the set or available as a seperate download. EEK! I just uploaded the rocking chair and its publication date is Feb. 9th. Thanks to Rachel, for bringing this oversight to my attention.
Valentine Tops
Another set for Valentine's Day: 8 pretty tops with heart-shaped lace panels. Six tops are sleeveless, two have 3/4 length lace sleeves.
These tops can be worn by adults and young adults and use a standard Maxis mesh, so no expansion packs are required.

Maxis Betray Lot Builders
Indeed... Sue posted a topic in the Build a Lot forum about this, basically it has very bad reprecussions for lot builders and recolourers. Maxis have altered the coding in Pets which now prevents ALL recolours from packaging with a lot. New meshes and their recolours are fine it is JUST MAXIS RECOLOURS But this means that say someone did a really fab recolour of then Glamour Life Stuff pack bedroom set and decorated a whole room around that recolour. The packaged file would still include the original Maxis meshes, but NOT that fab new recolour... ONLY the maxis default ones.Maxis and EA led many of us to believe this was merely a bug which would be sorted with a patch but it is not. It was an INTENTIONAL code change done by Maxis, because people over on the official exchange were flooding the exchange with bloated lots packed full of recolours they hadnt taken the time to remove.
Basically Maxis, who yes, have been very supportive before have been very underhanded in this, and many of us here would NOT have bought Pets if we had known of the code change - they also plan this code change with Seasons so please be aware of this.
SO i guess the folks of TSR are going to have to think about a possible work around for lot builders to include maxis recolours - the suggestion has been made to let lot builders include the recolour files as a seperate zip file that could be uploaded. We shall see.. CycloneSue and RICCI have started threads over ont he Exchange's BBS so hop over there if you wanna scream your protests upon their ears - however, you need to scream loudly to get in about the noise of them clinking their coffers about and laughing at us all for being so darn susceptible.
Indian Inspired Drape- Updated
Just a small update to my Indian Inspired Drape (from first set). After some testing we found that when this drape is placed right beside a single bed (double works fine) it blocks the Sim from using the bed. I therefore have updated the file to allow Sim intersection. If you wish to use this drape with single beds, please redownload it here.Thanks :)
