Legs!
I'm working on a new set; a living room set with chrome and black leather. I had it completely pictured in my mind, I even made some drawings that made me fairly happy :) When I started making the first piece however, a coffee table, the legs I thought out looked extremely silly. I just couldn't make them look right, and I've changed them about a million times. Now I think I'm somewhat happy with the result.I'm posting a picture here, to keep me from changing the legs again :) It's a chrome table with a glass top and it's not completely done yet. Let me know what you think!

Finally Caught Up!
Whew! Well it took nearly an entire month but I've finally caught up with the massive amount of comments that came in while I was away on vacation during December. Small note about the upcoming collection for you guys.A website with all the pictures and video and legall stuff will be coming up soon and soon to TSR is the makeup/hair/objects/runway that you see in the pictures released. also i need to go ahead and say it now... with this collection comes legall stuff lol
please dont use anypart of my textures/alphamaps/ or meshes and call them your own. also if your going to use my meshes please give credit and all the works. much love guys and i hope you enjoy this collection as much as i did.
and a last note this will be the last atlaua collection from because of college and stuff so im sorry but when the sims3 comes out you know ill be making Atlaua Version 3.0 haha
Castle and Dungeon Walls and Floors
Hello Everyone, I hope everyone is enjoying the new year so far. I'm not done uploading the last of my Lace Wall sets - I still have 11 sets yet to go: 4 Paisley, 2 Plaid and 4 Stripes. But in the meantime I thought I would upload something new for me - some walls that would look excellent in castles and dungeons or where ever your imagination takes you. Here's a preview of the castle walls in gray (they also come in a dirt brown) -

Bedding
I'm branching out at last in to objects... starting with bedding because it is nice and easy.I wish I could figure out how to get some decent textures, but I think my seeds bedding set to match the wallpapers and carpets I did doesn't look too bad for a first attempt.
Tuscan Kitchen is pending!
I submitted my Tuscan Kitchen around 8pm central standard time Saturday. Now all that is left is for the set to be "approved".I am also putting the final touches on my Estate Build Set, which will be my final Sims 1 set EVER. I don't plan on going back to creating content for the original game, but I thought it'd be good for me to finish that unreleased set.
I had originally planned for it to have 3 parts, but I scrapped many of the uncompleted pieces when The Sims 2 came out.
I ended up basing much of my Georgian Manor set (still only available at MTS2--sorry) on this unfinished set. To this day, I don't think ANY Sims 1 creator has made anything close to this set. I think all the Sims 1ers will get a kick out of it.
Watch out for that set soon ;P

New clothing sets
Hi there, I've made yesterday two new clothing sets. I have really spend a lot of time in them and I personally like them. One set contains rich glamorous dresses and the other set includes everyday outfits with bootcut jeans and different dressy tops. I hope you will like the sets and enjoy them. They'll release next week. Happy Simming, Sophia :) P.S.: on the second preview pic I love the hairstyle of the models in the center. These are recolours of xm-sims hair meshes and you can get them at MTS2. Only if you want to know it ;)

2 More sets
I have 2 new sets I've been working on... A bedroom and an outdoor landscaping set. I'm having some mesh problems with the bedroom, and haven't stared putting the plants in-game yet. I'm exhaused from this week so I don't know when I will get around to uploading.
New Cosmetics Arriving Soon!
In my continuation to take a little break from object meshing and recolouring, I've deviated into cosmetics. It's been a loooong time since I really toyed around in Bodyshop and looking back on my earliest works, I hope you'll agree that these new additions are much (much!) better.So today I've finished the first set in a line of high gloss lipsticks called Reflections. These first eight feature a mix of soft and bright pastel-like colours, which I think are perfect for those sweet and flirty girl-next-door Sims (you know the type - think Mary Jane Watson from Spiderman and all that jazz :P ). They're available for teen through elder females and are best suited to lighter skin tones.
Don't worry, though, I've not forgotten our darker skinned gals. Following up on this light and airy line will be a darker and more sophisticated selection of colours. Stay tuned!

...check out The Boathouse. This will now be released tomorrow (Sat 20th Jan) instead of the Storybook Lots. This is another of my own much loved Sims homes and again, they built it up from scratch to the pretty little lot it is today.Ok, well, it's on a 3x3 lot; has accomodation for a small family (one child's bed only at the moment but the bedroom will accomodate two); has its own meadow to the side; a huge deck perfect for entertaining AND a basement PACKED with reward and aspiration objects.
Please give this lot a go. It's decorated in light tones and the adult bedroom is in the attic. It's got bags of character but it's difficult to show this in a few pics. Enough imploring from me - here's what I can show you:

I know, and I'm sorry!I have a lot of messages and stuff that I have yet to reply to. I haven't been here this last couple of days due to our power lines being brought down in the storms that have hit the UK and other parts of Europe. I'm not sure how long we'll have power for (it has cut out once already since its recent return, and we have more storms predicted over the weekend) so please bear with me. I will catch up by next week.
And if anyone wants to put me out of blackout-hell by telling me how I can connect my PC and kettle to a car battery, then you will be friend-for-life!!!
Storybook Lots Delayed :-(
I'm sorry about this but I've withdrawn the two Storybook lots that were due to go on the site tomorrow. I always test things extensively and these two lots had passed with flying colours... until this morning, that is. I went into Pleasantville and found that from the neighbourhood view, the lots now looked like this:
Not really the effect you're after, is it?! It's a graphics problem found in some versions of the Mac game - the roofs look perfectly ok when you're in them but from the neighbourhood screen they look ridiculous. Now, normally, I would boot up my old PC and check them on there again (I've already done this once and they were fine) but... would you believe it, the PC died this morning after a rather impressive display of graphic fireworks.
I'm having QUITE a day.
So, until I am 100% happy that these lots are not going to appear with green flashing roofs in your neighbourhood screen, I have withdrawn them. Rest assured they will be back soon.
Now where did I put that sledgehammer....
Many Shades of Brown
Wow so to my surprise (and because I added the colour as an afterthought) a lot of you like brown!! So my next set will embrace this colour in its various and many forms...I actually have something quite lovely in mind. Away Indefinitely
I won't be uploading for an indefinite length of time. I have a lot of projects going on at the moment. I'm also caught in a moral dilemma about being involved with a pay site. I need to sort out what side of that issue I wish to stand.In the meantime I'll be hanging out at Simmy Side Up and InSim so I'll see ya around.

Storybook Home Bakery Set
I've got a whole neighbourhood of Storybook lots planned, the first of which are the Home Bakery lots which are released tomorrow. There are two lots. One is fully furnished and finished and the other is a starter version with a smaller house. You could always try both and use one for a different business (or stick a grandparent or troublesome teen in the separate building instead!) Anyway, there's a choice there for your particular Sims.The lots look best placed on a corner but this isn't essential. Both are on a 2x2 lot. The full business requires NL and OFB but the starter requires OFB ONLY.

Time is a funny thing...
Shame on me. I really have been meaning to get all of my custom content set up here, but time is a funny thing. I'm hoping to have my Tuscan Kitchen available for download here on TSR at least by Sunday.I'm also planning to release my Estate Build Set. It is a building set that I created for TS1, but never finished. It's incomplete, but I was really proud of it before abandoning it. I think the Sims 1-ers out there will love it.

Earthtones
This is another set of cosy mix & match separates for teen girls, this time in warm earth tones: four snug cable knit sweaters and four co-ordinating pairs of cargo pants worn with sneakers.
The sweaters are re-colours of my Pretty In Pink sweaters. The cargo pants are simple re-colours of the Maxis cargo pants. The original Maxis sneakers' laces were squint, which has always irritated me, so I've fixed this. The cargo pants have a nice belt with a silver buckle but unfortunately the sweater covers the belt so it isn't visible in the previews - obviously, the belt can be seen when the cargo pants are worn with a different top.
All items use standard Maxis meshes that came with the base game so, again, everyone will be able to use them.
Wind
Yes... wind. Now if any other of you folks live over here in England you will know I am not talking about a potentially embarassing flatulence problem, I mean the Weather - Currently we have "Gusts" as they like to call them of upto 70mph. and boy did I feel it this afternoon! 2 elderly people almost got run over by me as they were too busy holding onto their hoods and caps, to pause and look accross the road before stepping out... then, the wisdom of our Local Council bins collection service means we have this great Lightweight tub in which we have to put our bottles, and plastic ready for recycling. Great! until you see the contents of them swirling around in the wind, and as I did, have one of those said tubs being hurtled accross the road, almost hitting my windscreen, and forcing me to hit the brakes again, and end up with a very large HGV embedded into the back end of my (not yet 12 month old) car.Not only that but they have shut the schools!! argh!... but on the plus side - I got to finish work earlier too.. which means.... more SIMS time!!!!! might actually get around to building some of the numerous things ive been aching to do!

That's right, Dr. Macabre would like all of your help. Sometimes I get a brain fart, and can't figure out what to make. Now request are awesome, but sometimes I would like to try something different.So what I would like all of you to do, is suggests things you would like to see. Now I don't guarantee I can do them all, because I am limited, but I will try.
But just to let you all know, don't request meshes. I haven't figured them out yet, and right now I don't have them time to do it. Maybe someday but not right now.
But besides that, go crazy. Wanna see more female denim jackets with nice shirts underneath? Then let me know. I am really curious what everyone is looking for. I like to use the hit or miss method of creation. I will think of an idea, and put it up. So far in general I have been lucky. Which is very cool.
But I am calling on everyone who is reading this to put your thinking caps on and give me ideas. You can either leave a comment here, sign my guest book, or private message me. I will take the ideas in the order they come and do what I can.

Victorian Study Etceteras, Jan 21st
Victorian Study Etceteras, are additional furnishings and decorative objects for the Victorian Inspired Study sets. The collections includes an armoire which houses a televisions set (New Years resolution #2), vintage safe, antique urn, bust of Queen Nefertiti, decorative bowl, etc.
Yes, I know the Victorians did not have television sets, but some Sims just gotta watch TV, LOL!
The vintage Victorian Study Etceteras collection is scheduled for release on January 21st.
MSMP Preview 5
I have the fifth official preview of my Modern Stuff Mini Pack! And, I am also pleased to announce that I have finished making ALL the meshes! I have all the wall and floor images made, and I just have to use Homecrafter to make them floors now! Also, I thought I should announce the total of stuff in this mini pack is 56 items, and that total includes walls, floors, meshes, and recolors. That does not include lots that I will be making. New Bathroom
I have a new bathroom coming out. You can see it in my Upcoming set pictures now. It'll be published on the 19th. I'm kind of excited about that because it's my first bathroom published as a room instead of piece by piece.Lots of paintings and rugs in the future. It appears the overwhelming majority of people who votes in the poll on Anita's minisite want plain walls with crown molding and baseboards. I'll try to come up with some more of those for you. I have a lot of interesting crown molding designs in the works. Just need to get them made and loading into the game and packaged and uploaded and published. (Sounds harder than it is.) Plus I have lots of "different" walls and floors, too. Hope you'll like them, but we'll see.
The last two kitchens for the PMS kitchens are in Sea Green and Eggshell. They'll be out before too terribly long. Other various surprises are in store. Time for me to go to sleep. More later.
Teen Items
I am now working on a new set, it contains some furniture for teens. I am still thinking for a name of it but most likely I will just call it "Teen bedroom", "Teen stueyroom"... I am just not good at naming my sets! Anyway, I finished 4 meshes already, they are some study items like bookcase, desk and study chair. I will publish the study part first in a few days. After this teen studyroom, I am going to make some more items to match my "Luxury Office" set and than back to the teen set. The picture on the right shows some of the upcoming items, hope you like it! |

Pretty In Pink
Teen everyday outfits have been one of the more popular choices in my current poll, so I came up with a set of pretty pink and white mix and match separates for the cold winter months. Originally, I made the skirts with tights as I didn't feel I could send the girls out in the cold with bare legs. However, I had a feeling Ugg boots might be meant to be worn without tights so in the end I made all the skirts with and without tights. So there are four sweaters and eight skirts in this set.
All items use standard Maxis meshes which came with the original game so everyone will be able to use them.
Updated retrodern desk
I just found out that only one of the subsets on my retrodern desk was recolorable so today I fixed it and re uploaded it so if you want to use future recolor you must re download the file... sorry for the inconvenience.Photo Realistic Contact Lenses
Since I seem to be having something of a creator's block for my object/room sets, I thought I'd change gears for a bit and work on some Bodyshop creations that I've been pushing to the back burner far too long. So today I finally sat down and converted my photo realistic eyes into contact lens versions. I don't normally use contact lenses on my Sims but contact lens versions of my feline eyes from Hallowe'en received such positive feedback and downloads that I thought perhaps people would appreciate having this set available in a similar fashion. :)
Incidentally, while I'm very much not the New Year's resolution maker-type, I have unofficially set a small goal for myself this year to become better at following up on half-finished projects and creation ideas I've let slide. So expect a sprinkling here and there of things I've pulled out of the closet and dusted off, polished up and finalized for sharing. ;)
A brand new moulding
I had time this weekend to put together a brand new white marble, beaded, egg and dart molding. I'll be uploading 3 sets using this in the next couple of weeks. Let me know what you think. Here's a preview...
Not much longer!
It won't be much longer until I submit the Modern Stuff Mini Pack. I hope to start submitting it the second week of February. I have most of the meshes done. I have to finish tweaking the bed mesh so I can have it recolorable. I also still have some end tables and lamp meshes to make. After that, I will have to finish up with the walls and floors, and then I can make the lots.I don't have a preview for you today, but I will soon!
