Snuggly Pyjamas

Hello everyone! I have just uploaded a set of three pyjamas for your male toddler Sims - my first for this year. As you can probably tell, I'm into pyjamas at the moment (not literally, you understand!) Anyway, I hope you like them. (Does anyone actually read these blogs?) -

Cropped Casuals

My first set of 2007 comprises eight co-ordinating mix & match items in pink, black and natural: four cosy cropped cardies worn over contrasting vest tops (three with gingham & heart appliqu�); and four cute pairs of cropped trousers with ankle slits & contrasting side stripes (two with rose embroidery on back pocket) worn with sexy kitten heel boots.



All items can be worn by adults and young adults and require meshes which came with Nightlife.

Island Paradise

Having spent so much time in the snow (!!!), my toes wanted to go to the warmer Pacific! I've made a series of residential homes, all variations on the same basic design, called Island Paradise. The main feature is that the island is built in the middle of a huge swimming pool, so Sims can swim all round! ----- In the first version, a small second island houses a summerhouse, so your Sims can swim over and invite their friends to join them in a game of cards or ..... ! It gives swimming a whole new purpose in the game!!! To follow is a set of 3 variations, with specially designed roofs. Here's a preview pic:

Mid-Winter Shopping

To round off my mid-winter series, I'm publishing a small set of 3 community lots. They're variations on the Chinese river village of Xitang, which you can see Tom Cruise running through in Mission Impossible 3 !!! Here's a preview pic:

Back from Holiday!

Hi everyone! :D We had a lovely holiday break in the very NON-snowy Lakes District of England!!!

We were back on Monday, and I've started posting some new stuff which I've tidied up. More info to follow soon.

I want to thank everyone and Thomas on the welcoming of being a FA! Im so excited that I'm with TSR and I'm just soo happy,lol. I remember joining the site well over a year ago and asking to myself " How do FA's make that stuff!?" I would never think I would become one. So I just want to wish everyone a Happy Holiday and thanks so much for the warm welcome! I appreciate it everyone! :)

Update (Again)

Ok so I'm too lazy to think up a new subjects =) Plus I don't think anyone reads these anyway.
I think I finally have the Pets thing figured out. I didn't take me this long because I'm stupid, I was just busy with other things and too lazy to go digging.
If I got it correctly, everything I do is Ok because I just recolour; everything is based on original Maxis meshes. All I'm doing is adding an extra colour option to go on those meshes. So I will just continue on =)

Limitations.....

Why I am calling this blog entry that? Because I found a creation program with that flaw. Let me explain......

I wanted to branch out and create something different than I do, and I though to myself how about rock and roll posters? So I downloaded Sim PE and checked it out. To be honest I couldn't make heads or tails out of it. So I cam here to TSR to see if there was an easier program to create what I want.

Enter The Sims 2 Poster Importer. Now to be honest, when i began playing with it I found it to be very easy, and i was making posters like crazy. But then I noticed it's limitation. It will only make a total of 10 posters, in slot 1 through 10. I f you want to make more, you have to get rid of your old ones.

So yes I did make a set of posters using it, and either it's up or will be soon depending when you read this. But it's a limitation that isn't going to work for me.

So let me give you all the warning. If you have used this program to create posters, and you want mine, you will have to get rid of your for mine to show up. But trust me, if you want a wide variate of rock posters my set is worth it. Well at least I think so.

Now to let everyone know, once I realized this limitation, I got hold of a good friend of mine. Hi Darqstar. Who walked my through the object workshop so that now I can use Sim PE to create more. Thanks again Darqstar, your great!!!!

So yes I will be making more posters in the future, but not with The Sims 2 Poster Importer. But I hope you all enjoy these as much as I did making them.

A Few Men's Outfits...

My poor Sim men are not nearly as equipped with clothes as the ladies are. I noticed there just aren't as many men's clothes available. I guess it's because female clothes are so much more fun to make. I mean....there's only so many ways you can change a shirt and a pair of pants! But I did finally upload a few men's outfits that I had made a couple months ago and never did get them submitted. Hopefully, they will be coming out in a few days. Then I need to try and make a few more men's outfits for these poor guys. I'll have to put some thought into it and see if I can come up with anything "creative" to do for them.

Well, I've had a bit of a rest and I've a whole load of new ideas. I'm sort of hoping I'll stop thinking of things I want to do soon... I want my life back!

Anyway, I hope you like them... it's mostly wallpaper of various sorts rather than tiles.

I'm in a "formals" sort of mood for some reason, perhaps its all the awards show and prom talk, so expect to see several formal sets from me over the next week or two.

I'm also going to upload that set of swimwear that I alluded to prior to xmas. I just need to convert those to adult and they'll be ready to post.

Well, maybe that's not the right word in a Sims world. 1 Million Downloads! Thanks to all of you who downloaded, thanked, commented, rated and everything. I really appreciate all of you who have given me such encouragement. It's so great when people tell me they like my stuff! (But please let me know if something is wrong with it!) Hope your 2007 is happy and healthy and successful! Thanks SO much!

Tutorials...

I had one of those brainwave thingies last night. Now, Just because these sometimes clash with stong painkiller time, dos not make them any less valid you know! I actually think this is quite a good one!

Now, there are some dead fab builders out there, yeah Im a talking about you Andy (Tiko) who builds some of the most amazing lots ever. but as I am not anywhere near that standard, i thought to myself, when I plan to try out a new technique, I could make a tutorial about it, now, ive done this before and just used it for myself to remind me what I should actually be doing once ive made a hash of it several times and actually made something half decent. I could upload it here too, and share my dismal techniques with you all too! How ace is that then??!!

Now, if you also would like to cast your eye upon the "Current Project" you might -or might not think it looks a bit familiar, well, indeed! it is, a while back I made a lot called Skin Deep Tattoo Studio (full lot available) which I was so immensely proud of, I made all these walls and such, but I was way too new to it to know how on earth to "submit a Set" oh dear! so if anyone wanted them, every single wall had to be downloaded seperately.. So i thought it was high time I made them into a set, and hope TSR dont think im just pushing my luck! I planned to do a few recolours along the same sorta theme too, so its not all bad!

As for my thoughts on objects and clothing - well, I wont even begin to tell you how badly my first attempt at that turned out... needless to say it was like a 60's hallucination all over again... most disturbing.

Raleria Living Room

Heres the newest set im working on. It's fairly modern and brightly colored, and a design i thought up all on my own without reference pics, lol! Anyways, I have a few more items in mind for it, then i will begin putting them all into TS2!

Three Cubes

Well, I got the idea for this lot and just couldn't resist giving it a go. There were times I wished I had, mind you, because as simple as it looks, this was quite a challenge to build. Lots of CFE cheats and on the first two attempts, I took away the underside walls away too soon and was left with cubes floating in the air... with no floors. And no way of putting them there because of the CFE...

That'll teach me for trying to be clever, won't it?!

My Mini Site!

WooHoo! no, im not making my Sim's procreate - I decided that, saying as i had earned enough of those shiny gold Kudos Rewards, I would purchase myself a nice shiny new Mini Site! Now, I appreciate that there may or may not be some of you that feel inclined to read my inate drivel. I might even come out with something interesting at some point - Unlikely, but I do encourage you to visit my site every day to check!!

I have to say though, I am still elated to have won the S2HBAA December Build Contest with my entry, Castle Dracul - due to be released on Jan 7th! Keep your eyes peeled, and dont forget to download it! you know you wanna!!

Additional Rosewood windows

I'm updating my twin Rosewood windows sets. Some additional windows that were designed for the second Rosewood Clear Glass set, will now also be included into the first set with a metal mesh to match the rest of the windows. 3-tile window, 2-tile short window, privacy window, and arch. To make the download easier, I also publish Rosewood Superset that will simply include both original sets.

Lots of New Stuff Soon!!!

I have decided to make 2 more Open For Business Sets, and an Open For Business Set 1 Additions. These sets have all been submitted.

Also, I have been working on the Modern Stuff Pack some more. I now have a sculpture done, dining table done, and coffee table done, plus their recolors. I am still working on getting the sofa to recolor properly.

ASP - Guys Version, yay!

Of course I couldn't just leave the guys hangin'! Coming soon (within the next week) is Abercrombie Spring Preview for teen guys. Like the girls' set, there will be two new meshes based off of styles featured in the new Abercrombie spring wear.

And for those of you who are curious:


This is the first mesh and set of textures I've been working on (well I technically just started yesterday, kinda, lol). I've been wanting cargo shorts for my teen guys for a long time, so I guess this is also a personal request, hehe.

Spring Cleaning

I was thinking that before I embark on a new idea, I ought to submit some of the items I made ages ago. I use them in my game, so thought it was about time I got around to sharing them!

I made the set shot, that I actually used, but forgot to include the sofa, so I am going to use the remake here!

I also recommended Hypnogirl's Circles 'n' Stripes set, which consists of a matching nursery set and another wall and a stripey carpet, as well as jokerette's walls sets based on the circle design. Well that was fun come submission time, I kept reversing two of the digits and found I was recommending red1060's red flamingo lingerie!

I have also found that despite this being a fairly new keyboard, less than 2 months old - spilt coffee all over the last one, that this one seems to be playing up,d no, no coffee anywhere near it, so apologies ony typos I 've missed - see that shoulsssssssssssssssssssssssss here we go again... that last bit should say sorry for any typos!

My Greatest Gift...

My oldest daughter made me a grandmother on November 11th and I thought it was about time to post a couple pictures here of my new granddaughter. Her name is Jordyn and she's just precious! I originally tried to post the pictures in "My Pictures" but they aren't showing up, so I decided to put them here. This first one is me holding Jordyn. (yes I'm too young to be a grandmother....LOL) This is my oldest daughter, Jamie holding her while still in the hospital. This is Jordyn just hours after she was born. And this is her now.

Health Drink

My next object is a adult one with a little new interactions. It�s cloned from a capucino mashine. It has + energy, hunger and fun but no - bladder. Woot! Woot!

I am so giddy right now it's not even funny. If I could do so w/o disturbing the whole neighborhood I would run around screaming.

Ever since I first started submitting again in December I really really wanted a minisite. But I'd resigned myself to the fact that I'd have to work hard earning the kudos to get it. And lol, with less than 5000 I had a long way to go (you need 20000).

To other people being a Select Artist might not be that "special" but I feel really special about it. Mostly because it was one of my, albeit a secret one, goals and I actually reached it.

We've Been Sick

Sorry everyone for not updating in over a week. I had that stomach virus and now my husband has it so I will be caring for him for the next few days.

I will get to responding to my comments soon and finish my next project which I began after Christmas but was unable to complete, sometime during the week...as long as we stay well and out of virus way.

I REALLY Love This!

I just completed a new living room set that I really love. I decided to just let myself go and create something really funky and I like how it turned out. It looks so cute in the game. I hope you all enjoy it too! Here's a sneak preview: The set includes sofa, loveseat, chair, coffeetable, hot pink bear rug, floor pillows, and large collection of paintings. The screenshot features a cat sculpture by Mutske and a candle arrangement by Simaddict99. The floor lamps are standard in Pets. I wish I knew who made the curtains so I could give them credit too, but you know with curtain recolors, it never shows the name of the person who created them. I did get them here on TSR somewhere. For the ambient lighting, I used the standard Lunatech Light Disc in hot pink that comes with University I think. I think this set would make a very cool teen room.....maybe I'll make some matching bedding too. My daughter had a fit over this set! She said she wanted her bedroom to look like this! LOL Anyway, I hope everyone likes this set as much as I do. :)

Modern Stuff Mini Pack Preview 2

Today, I have a brand new preview of the Modern Stuff Mini Pack! This time, I have some of the recolors of the bar done, as well as the sofa and curtain meshes! However, I have run into a slight problem of the corner counter not being recolorable, but I will get to fixing this problem asap.
