Long Island Doors - Part 2
I'm expanding Long Island Doors collection - adding a single and a double door with small rectangular window, plus matching solid doors and archways. All the doors will pull their colors from the original Long Island door and work on diagonal walls. Part 2 is scheduled for release on January 9th, along with a superset that allows to download both parts 1 and 2 as one file.
Hello Everyone
I just noticed that I had been anounced as a FA now. Thank you all who have welcomed me here, and thank you for your nice comments too. I'm really looking forward to my time here at TSR.And heres a little preview of something that might be in store for you guys later:
Clay Walls - with new ones!
Thanks for the huge interest in the Mediterranean Clay Walls!I'd wanted a set of stucco that didn't have an obvious repeating pattern in the supposed-to-be-random blotches, and I'd overused my one colour of 'yellow', so I engaged in battle with Homecrafter. I finished the set and figured I'd upload them in case anyone else wanted properly-seamless textured stucco too. And that was that.
Returning today, I see that some of the papers are nearing 300 downloads in less than a day! That's incredible - thank you for your interest in these. I'm glad I uploaded them now!
I've added 6 new colours to the set to complete the range of shades (there should now be a colour to suit most uses). The new colours are:
Terracotta
Mulberry Wine
Mustard
Sweet Rose
Fresh Herb
Garden Mint
If the whole idea of downloading individual papers bores you (it does me!), you can also safely redownload the entire set. The papers don't need installing. Just drop them straight into your downloads folder where they'll simply replace the old ones. That way, you'll also be sure to have the fixed brown colour I mentioned in my 'Excuses' thread in the forums.

Download Set
No doubt, some of you are laughing your heads off at my yuck-worthy sickly-sweet names. Well, laugh, why don't you! I COULD have called the mustard paper 'Bile' instead, or the brown one "Dung", but no-one would like that very much, would they? So, just put up with the names and secretly make up your own...
...though I'd love to know what they would be!
Wishing everyone a hugely happy new year!
Just how far can I stretch one texture?
Well, actually there are several that I have combined, mixed, matched and co-ordinated. I started making one or two items to co-ordinate with the Sixty-One bedding and Curtain set. Actually I started with some walls, and then some floors. I already had the Mr Section seats lurking in my folders and so have ended up with several if not quite a few mini sets! Here are the room shots:

What I realised was that in making these room shots I had dutifully mixed, matched and co-ordinated but made it almost impossible to make these into sets, without duplicating uploads. I settled for a Clubside - the more middle-of-the-road comfy style - Bedroom, Dining and Sofa Sets with a choice including the stripe design - "Sixty-Two" and Distraction - the more modern groovy style - Bedroom, Dining and Sofa set plus a pair of Pictures! Oh and don't forget a Wall and Floor set!
Hope you enjoy!
Happy New Year!
Just wanted to wish everyone a happy new year, so... HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! It's already 2007, wow! I remember it as yesterday celebrating for 2000! Well, I wish you all had a nice holiday and healthy. Cya around! :)Happy New Year

**HAPPY NEW YEAR***
To all of you here at TSR, I wish you the best for the upcoming year! Thank you for all the kind comments, the downloads, and just being the wonderful group of people that you are. I'm still a novice artist, but I will continue to try and improve in 2007 and provide you with my best work to enjoy in your game.As I look back over 2006, it was a tough year, but I have a lot to be thankful for. My wonderful boyfriend of three years returned from Iraq safe and sound after fighting in one of the most dangerous areas of the war zone. My oldest daughter gave birth to a beautiful baby girl on November 11th and made me a grandma! My younger daughter hit the teenage years, and she's growing into a beautiful young lady. And I got a great new job making lots more money! I'm looking forward to all the wonderful things that 2007 will bring. I am optimistic that this will be a really good year.
Here's wishing you all the best for the new year!
***HAPPY 2007***
Barely survived my first night....
Did I say it would most likely be slow paced at work since it's a holiday weekend? Boy was I wrong! I think it must have been a full moon last night or something, because it was nuts! I was thrown head first into total chaos without the benefit of any orientation to the unit. But I survived.....all my patients survived.....and that's what matters. :)Real Life
My Real Life is kind of a mess right now. I don't feel very creative and now I have to find a new job. I loved my job but I had to quit. It's a long story...I'll be back creating once I'm over these Blahs. Wish me luck on my job hunt! **HUGS EVERYBODY**
Clueless
Over the next 2 weeks, I'll be submitting skins and faces from the 1995 movie Clueless. I just sent off the skins so those should be uploaded this next Saturday. Then next week I'll be submitting the faces. On another note, I just wanted to say Happy New Year to everyone!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Happy New Year to everyone! Wishing evetyone a bright and joyous 2007!!!I hope the new year brings everyone their heart's desires. May you all be safe, prosperous, and healthy throughout the coming year.
May :D
Happy New Year!
Hello everyone! Well, today is the last day of 2006 so I wish you all a very happy and prosperous New Year. I hope that in 2007 everyone's dreams will come true. For the last time in 2006 I have uploaded a new set of clothing for your Sims; a collection of adult female pyjama's in pastel shades. By the way, just in case you're wondering, us Brits spell "pyjama's" with a "y" whereas the Americans spell it with an "a" - yeah, I know, we have to be different! Anyway, I hope you like them and enjoy them as much as I enjoyed making them!
Love and peace to all in 2007 - may all our differences be resolved, no matter what they are.
Happy New Year!
Here's to a happy and healthy New Year for all - I hope 2007 is good to you. Thanks for all the messages and support this year, I really do appreciate it. :-) Happy New Year!Happy Hogmanay!
HAPPY HOGMANAY!Hogmanay is what we call New Year's Eve in Scotland. I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and I wish everyone a very Happy New Year. 2007 is going to be a very special year for me because I am getting married this year!
Thanks again for all your support and encouragement in 2006 and I wish you all the best for 2007.

Hey Everybody and Happy Holidays!!I'm currently working on several paintings that will be uploaded more tonight and early afternoon tomorrow. Other creations that I 'hope' on completing are maybe some recolors, Lot(s), and more paintings.
December 24: 2 paintings (Christmas Tree, Story Time) will be published.
December 28: Aged Mahogony
Current Projects: Old Brick :: Holly Tile
Look for them soon!
Ben
Business Awning
Work in progress - new window awning that will reuse the colors of my original awning but also has additional lettering layer or a round sign. The awning will come as 1-tile and 2-tile wide, possibly even 3-tile wide to fit a long store name.
Holidays!!
Hope you all had a great and Merry Christmas. Here is hoping you all have a Happy New Year. After the holidays, I will be resuming recolors of Simtomatic's Sanita Bathroom. If you have any requests, (currently working on Spiderman Grow Up set), please PM me. I will do if I can. No Promises, but a lot of Hope. Enjoy my creations as much as I enjoy doing them.I'm starting a new job...
And I'm both excited and nervous! I'm a nurse in real life and just recently switched jobs to go with an agency that pays twice as much as I was making before. I finished orientation last week and am supposed to start working some shifts now. My first shift is supposed to be tonight, but with it being the New Year holiday, there's a chance I'll get cancelled because things will be slow. I'm so nervous! I'm not nervous about the nursing part....I know how to do that. It's the learning the new system and where everything is in a new hospital.....it's just stressful being the new kid on the block. Also, I'll be working night shift for awhile and even though I'm a nightowl.....I worry if I'll be able to stay awake ALL night! I decided to start this new job on nights since it'll be a slower pace and allow me to get myself acclimated to the new job. Once I get comfortable, I'll switch back to days.Anyway......wish me luck! I'm gonna need it! :)
Back From Vacation
I am returned from vacation and am slowly getting back into TSR again. I'm wading through the literally hundreds of comments, guestbook signings and PMs I've received while away - thank you to everyone who has continued to send feedback, support and thank yous while I was away. :)Look for new creations very shortly!
Hello out there!
Hello to anyone who manages to stumble across my new SA page! My name is phoenix_phaerie (or Crystal. Whichever you prefer).Previously all of my Sims 2 work had been showcased on ModTheSims2. But then I was invited to become a Select Artist here on TSR and how could I turn that down? So now, my work will be available both here and there.
Unfortunately I am still at home with my family for the holiday--meaning that that my computer and all my simmy files are about 300 miles away at my school apartment. So I won't be able to make any updates or additions just yet, but I am excited to get started on some new projects and creations.
I hope everyone enjoys the rest of their holiday! Merry Simming and a Happy Sim Year!
I fell down and broke my crown...
I'm sore from the tip of my head to the bottom of my toes. We had a deep fog and freezing temps... which caused black ice to form on everything. Needless to say, Fila's aren't built for walking on ice. Anyway, that's only a part of the crappy luck that has befallen me lately. I'm very stressed at work. I just wanted to apologize for my absence. I'm not freaking out and I'm still creating. Just incredibly busy in RL and having a hard time finding energy when I'm at home. Hopefully, I'll be able to get back to Milkshape in the next few days! And finally...
Yes, this run of drain and building things HAS to come to an end, so, thanks to Andrea, I present thee with guttering. I don't know WHY I make these flambouyant announcements. I know very well by now what you're thinking! Anyways, this guttering is in three parts: a set for flat roofs, a set for pitched roofs (angled outwards and a lower height), and for the lazy so-and-sos like me, there are also a couple of downpipes that don't need any guttering whatsoever (the leftmost pipe). All of them share four colours (nearly-black, painted white, plastic aqua and weathered metal)...
Delightful Daisies Collection, Jan 7th
A new recolor of the Victorian Inspired Nursery set. The recolor set features 2 new meshes, a toy chest and table lamp. The set also features antique white furniture, a daisies motif, grass green and gold accents. The Delightful Daisies Nursery is sure to delight your baby. The set is scheduled for release Jan. 7th. Here are a few screenshots of the set.
Happy Holidays!!
I'm sorry I didn't get any holiday wall sets or holiday themed items done early enough this year to be published before Christmas. I promise to be early next year.
I want to thank everyone who has downloaded my creations this past year - you are appreciated more than words can say. And thank you for all the "Thank You(s)"!!!
I want to wish everyone a Happy & Safe New Year! I hope 2007 brings you all your heart's desires!
Happy Simming!!
Hugs, May :D
Completely Confused!
Now where's that red-faced smilie when you need him?! I appear to have completely confused the TSR submissions system by not releasing all three of the Georgian Townhouses Set at once. In fact, the system seems to have decided to remove the two previously published houses and will re-publish them AGAIN on Sunday, along with the third one.Oh dear. Perhaps I'd better stick to releasing single lots and you'll have to find them and make your own sets ;-) A shame, really, 'cos I think it's good to be able to group things together... I shall keep investigating to see if there's a way around this.
In the meantime, if you've been clicking on the either of the two pics of the previously published lots on my home page and getting "Item not found" I do apologise - please come back on Sunday... WHY the system doesn't work exactly as I want it to, I don't know ;-)
Just to tempt you further, I hope, here's a couple more pics of the third and final townhouse.
First, the back garden:

The basement kitchen:

And finally, one of the roomy upper floors:

I'm just going to end with one last plea for those of you who don't like more than two floors to try this house - because it's so compact, it might be easier to play than you imagine ;-)
PF 2007
My dear friends, I wish you all a lot of beautiful days in the new year. Be happy and enjoy with The Sims !Family Fun Stuff Set 1 Preview
Today, I have a preview of the Family Fun Stuff Set 1, which I hope to submit soon. Preview:
I have also finished creating all the objects for the Pets Set 2, however, I have not tested them in the game and created the previews, so I won't have that ready to submit, yet.
One last note, the Glamour Life Stuff Set 1 has been accepted, and it is to be published on the 31st, my last set to be published for 2006, and on the last day of the year! :-)
Happy simming!

Sneak Preview...
I finally felt a little better today, so I finished up and submitted a few things today. Here's a sneak preview of what will be coming out in the next few days.
New Stuff Coming Soon!
I have just finished submitting the Glamour Life Stuff Set 1. I will begin work soon on the Family Fun Stuff Set 1 and Pets Set 2. I will have a few lots ready as well. After all of these are submitted, I will resume work on the Modern Stuff Mini Pack, so I won't be submitting as much stuff again. Also, for all those who still play TS1 whether you have both TS2 and TS1, or only have TS1, I have bunch of walls and floors that I just submitted. These walls and floors will look very familiar to those that have downloaded my TS2 walls and floors because the walls and floors I created for TS1 are actually my most downloaded walls and floors from TS2 in a TS1 version!!!
Happy simming

Christmas Gift
And here it is. Almost ready! The train must be downloaded to get it to work but it wont show up in the buy catalog. The toddler has to get it from the present box.
Taking a break
Hello everyone,HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL OF YOU AND A SAFE HOLIDAY SEASONS! Its been a while since i made anything for the sims just lost interest on it and just taking a break, but hope to get back to creating more stuff after the new year . So look for more of my creation soon.HAVE LOTS OF FUN!
Crawling in the gutter
Yes, this is where it's at: the gutter. My next set to follow the rooftop decor will be drains. Yes, DRAINS! I know full well that you're sitting there looking singularly unimpressed (especially those of you who really ARE hoping for pretty print table cloths) but drains is what you're being given. And there we all are. Frankly, I think it is shameful that we still have urban neighbourhoods without them.
Fiddler on the roof
Nope! Sorry - can't make ANY funny quip about that title. Still, anyone who CAN may submit their answers to the usual place. You might have been wondering what happened to the previously-mentioned rooftop items (if you weren't, at least PRETEND you were wondering!). Anyway, it was a good two weeks ago when I showed some finished piccies. Lest you start thinking I make a habit of cutting out magazine pictures and saying: "look! I've made THESE!" in my blog, I figured I'd best show some evidence that I really HAVE been working further on this set...
Clothing fixed........
I just found out that I can *edit* my published items without having to resubmit them! So I have gone through and edited those recent clothing items with the new files that will work for those who don't have Pets EP installed. If you downloaded any of those items and they didn't work for you because of the glitch with Pets Body Shop, please re-download them now that they are fixed. Thanks!
Previews!
Today, I have some previews of my current projects. The first one, which I hope to submit soon, is the Glamour Life Stuff Set 1, and it will include 3 meshes to matc the set, and three recolors of them to match the rest of the set. Yesterday night, I said that there would be 11 objects, but since one file recolors all the doors and windows in the set, that has changed the number, and I have also decided to add some more objects to the set (besides the meshes). So, the new total of objects in the set will be 16 objects! Here's the preview:
And... I have also have a few of the meshes completed in the Modern Stuff Mini Pack completed, and I have a preview of that! I will be making recolors of these objects too!
Here's the preview:
Happy simming!

I think I have the flu....
I've been sick for a week now and I'm not showing any signs of getting better. I'm a nurse in "real life" so I get exposed to all kinds of wonderful illnesses. I had an allergic reaction to the flu shot a few years back, so I can't ever take one of those again. I haven't had the flu in probably 7-8 years, so I guess I was due. I had forgotten how much fun it is! LOL (coughing, aching, sore throat, ears hurt, fever, can't eat much....etc..) The good news is that the typical flu lasts for about 7-10 days and I'm on day 8 now....so I should be feeling better soon. I think the snot is clogging up my creativity. I have about 6 half-finished projects that I just can't seem to get right. I sat and worked on an outfit yesterday for probably 6 hours and I still didn't like it! So I gave up and started a new one. Thank goodness for computers and internet! Being sick is a lot more fun than it used to be. I think I might try to get out of my pajamas today. Maybe if I get dressed and pretend that I'm better...I will be. :)
