I guess folks do read this stuff...
When I began keeping a blog here at TSR, I wasn't sure if anyone really looked at these things. I mean I know a couple of folks do, because they leave a comment, but besides that I figured in most cases people ignored this stuff.The way I saw it, was that folks figured they were downloading my stuff, I can't expect them to read as well. Now I was told that some people were having trouble leaving comments. I would recommend that if you haven't got in touch with TSR yet, do it, so they no there is a problem, cause to be honest I can't do anything.
But getting back to the point, it has come to my attention that folks are reading it, and that is so cool to me. Not only does it stroke my ego a bit, but it means that folks care what I say.
And if you do care, I just want to let you all know that I will keep creating thing, keep trying to get better, and make things that you will all enjoy. These are my goals. Sometimes life gets in the way of the creation process, but it will never stop me.
So to all my friends out there, and to everyone reading this, thank you. I appreciate all of you.
New Set Coming Soon!
Since I have finally got the Family Fun Stuff Pack and Glamour Life Stuff Pack, I have begun creating a new set, with all recolors from the Glamour Life Stuff Pack. It will feature 11 objects, unless I find out that some of the files are not needed if there textures are linked, but it should be 11 objects. Keep checking back for updates!Happy simming!

Long Island Doors
Soon to be published, a new simple but elegant style of entrance door for the game. It is a common design in real life and now your sims can enjoy it as well :). A single door and a double door, both made to match Lafenetre windows and will work on diagonal walls.
Pets Body Shop Glitch
It was recently brought to my attention by some of the downloaders, that a few of my clothing items created in Pets Body Shop wouldn't work for them. I did go and download the patch to fix the problem and have fixed about 14 of my recent clothing items and resubmitted them. Hopefully, they will be available in a few days for those of you who couldn't use the original versions.I apologize that I didn't know about the problem in the first place. I gotta stay better informed! LOL
For those of you who downloaded the original versions, if they don't work in your game, please re-download the fixed versions when they come out.
Merry Christmas to ME
I finally decided to use some of my hard earned Kudos to get myself a minisite. The main reason is because I just wasn't happy with the way the generic profile page displays my items. I mean....I had some OLD Sims 1 wallpapers showing up as "latest creations" and I did those more than 2 years ago! (and in my opinion....they're not very good! LOL) I wanted to be able to showcase some of my better (and more recent) work here and have a little more control over what is displayed and what's not.So here I am.....a brand new owner of a minisite. No, I did not earn it the traditional way, (by being chosen as a Featured or Select Artist) but trust me, I DID earn it! All the hours and hours of creating items to share with all of you here at TSR has definitely earned me the right to have a minisite. Besides, what else am I going to do with all those Kudos? :)
So I hope you all enjoy it as much as I know I will.

First off, I would like to wish everyone a merry Christams and happy holidays! =) I hope everyone is enjoying their christmas so far!And secondly, I must apologize for my inactiveness again, I've been messing around in animations and havnt done a thing for sims the past few days
Lastly, I'm about to go submit the christmas stuff i made, so sorry I didnt get it out before christmas >.<
Behind bars...
Whilst one half of the globe gorges itself on turkey and booze to the point of unnatural explosion, whilst the other half wonders what all the fuss is about, I've been busy fixing again.My wrought iron barred windows and doors were suffering a bad case of bloat too, and so they underwent a heavy trimming operation. The window was weighing in at an incredible 1.3Mb in size! (that's beginners for you) and so I put it through bootcamp for a much leaner 300Kb. The doors received the same treatment and, for those of you who haven't visited that set in a long while, you'll also see that there are diagonal versions up there too (there never used to be - THAT'S beginners for you, too)!

I'll be setting batches of homes to download for free for short periods, starting tomorrow.

Long Alpha TShirts
Well, after recreating my Sim-Me, and making the "Legacy Soup" image used in the greeting card below, I decided I really wanted to make a "Legacy Soup" TShirt for Sim-Me to wear in game.I really like what both aikea_guinea here on TSR and fanseelamb over on MTS2 are doing with shirts that have a long alpha on the body, so they can be worn with even low-rise jeans or pants for an untucked and/or non-bare-midriff look. So, naturally, I decided I just had to make my own long alpha tshirt base to use for the "Legacy Soup" shirts.
Did a fairly basic conversion of the Maxis V-necked TShirt to create my base, in both black and white, and then made my "Legacy Soup" shirts out of the bases. And I've decided I might as well post both the two base shirts and my Legacy Soup shirt here on TSR for people to enjoy.
Please feel free to use the base shirts to create your own recolours! Just remember to credit me for the base if you post it anywhere.

I know I've been remiss about updating my mini site. Things have been rather busy and off kilter for me for the past few months. For one thing my computer simply could not carry on any longer so my hubby bought me a brand new one as an early Christmas present. WooHOOO!!As for the other things...well...Life has a way of getting in the way of what you really want to be doing.
But now here we are at the end of another year. I wish you all a very Merry, Safe, and Happy Christmas, Holiday, or whatever you generally celebrate this time of year. I hope the New Year is a good one for us all.
As a special Christmas Thank you, I have two sets that will be free until December 31. My Colorful Separates clothing set, and my Simply Modern Livingroom set. I hope you enjoy them. Thank you all for making this a wonderful year at TSR and I am looking forward to what 2007 brings for us all.
! ! ! Toilet Crisis ! ! !
Well, maybe crisis is a little strong. My NK PI Toilets were the first toilets I ever recolored. I was very happy that so many people wanted to download them. All I ever heard was positive things about them. I put them in my game and had a look at them before uploading them and they looked fine. What I didn't count on was the male factor. I don't play the game that much these days or I would have caught this sooner. I was playing a Sim who lives alone, but has two toilets in one of his bathrooms. (Don't ask me why.) Either he left the lid up or the maid did. And I saw the monstrous thing below. (Obviously, the pink toilet is the bad file and the blue one is the repaired one.) Why did none of you tell me? I could have fixed this much sooner. Anyway, all 20 toilets are in better shape now and you can download the revised version from the same places. I apologize for my ignorance, but at least I know now! Thanks for your support!

MidWinter Retreat - Original Game!
I wanted to add at least one MidWinter home that would work in the original game. So here it is - just the place to go to when you've eaten too much Christmas lunch and drunk too much champagne and need a quiet place to sit!!! It's made for a small 3x2 lot, and the 'garage' is a living room in the original game, but of course is designed to be used with Nightlife etc if you have them.
Well, I'm scrapping the trench. Each time I think it's fixed, I notice a freakin' hole in the mesh. If I get all of the holes fixed, the poly count is out of control. Back to the drawing board. And now for something more relaxing. A new mesh... but what shall I make? I've got a few hours this weekend to do my lovely meshing... Shall it be a dramatic gown for New Year's Eve? No, too many of those out there... I am bored with making men's meshes for a while. Sorry. I'll play with milkshape and try to come up with an interesting mesh.

That Didn't Last Long
I tried the new red mini-site color and I lasted about 20 minutes with it til my eyes were screaming at me, so I'm back to the old color. I wanted to leave it up through the holidays, but my peepers are old and picky.I've had a really productive morning this morning. I got most of my sets-in-waiting uploaded finally, so now I have all that out of my face and can concentrate on other things.

When the new rating system went into effect I was really sad that I lost my cute little Gold Cup award. Today, I logged in and noticed I have a Bronze Cup and ya know it didn't really mean that much to me. You'd think I'd be thrilled. But really, what I can't wait to do when I sign in is go reply to the comments I get from other members who have downloaded my stuff. Even if someone gives me negative feedback at least I know!Honestly, how much can that cup really mean? It means people have downloaded a lot of my stuff. Okay great, but so what? That certainly doesn't mean they liked it once they played it. LOL!

Updated Quilted Pet Pillows
I just updated all the quilted pet pillows. It seems S2S didn't put in the 'dirty' texture but it's all fixed now. Please redownload the new mesh and the recolors you want. The old recolors won't work with the new mesh.Sorry for the trouble guys.
Two things that put a smile on my face.
First up is comments. I create a lot of things, and if it wasn't for comments I don't know if I would still be creating. I enjoy them all, for a simple wup wup, to lengthy descriptions of why you like it. Each one tells me you like my stuff enjoy to let me know. I mean the lengthy comments mean more, because you put some thought behind it, but all are special to me. So keep them coming. And trust me, I answer each comment in the persons guest book. I know I don't have to, I want to. I like to let them know how much I appreciate them.With this new system, the other think I enjoy are thank yous. When I check how I am doing, it means a lot to me to see that counter go up. I have noticed one thing thou. It seems to me that some of you out there haven't figured out how it works, so I am going to explain. It actually is very simple. Download the item, check it out, then go to the rate your unrated items link, which is next to your kudos score and click the thank you link. Now you can hit the link before, thats up to you. I hear that they might be getting rid of the ability to click the link before, but either way once you check it out it's easy to take care of.
Here is the great thing in my opinion. Since the brought back the rate your unrated items link, you can do both at once. Thank the artist and comment on how much you like there stuff.
Some of you out there might think that if you download there creations, the artist really doesn't need any more recognition. How wrong you are. It take time to make things for the Sims, so things take more than others. So I as an artist appreciate the fact the you are willing to take them time to let me know what you think.
And those are the two things that put a smile on my face.
